Hello, I'm looking to grab some adressable RGB strips and fans, and were wondering how I could make this all work. I have an ASUS z390-f gaming motherboard, that comes with only one 5V 3pin ARGB header, and 2 non-Argb 4pins. I would like to have about 3 ARGB fans along with at least 2 ARGB strips. I could not find anything straight up about this, all the connectors are unclear for me so I need help! It is important for me to find the cheapest solution (I know about ROG Terminal but thats just too expensive atm (saving up for 1440p 144hz monitor and a gpu that can run games on that), altough if it's the only option to meet my standards i will list below i will have no other opportunity then to go with that?) So what I'm looking for is your best ideas for: ARGB fans that are ASUS AURA compatible and as cheap as they can get, ARGB LED Strips that are also ofc AURA compatible, and as cheap as they can get, And a best & cheapest solution to make these all work with a mobo like mine, with only 1 ARGB header. So I need a controller of some sort too. This is what the PC looks like now, feel free to tell me how you think I should configure the rgb for it! Also, an off topic question (that I still do have so ill ask anyways) Does anyone have experience with LED strip placement in the Fractal design Define R6? I wonder how many strips I should get, and where to put them, and also, I'll buy the GPU riser from fractal design, but the gap between the vertical slots and the tempered glass seem pretty little, so if I bought a beefier card in the future, something like a 2070S strix or aorus ed, would you think that it will fit? My GPU is in process of RMA right now, if you were wondering where it was. It's a strix 1060 6gb, it had faulty LED-s. (yes I RMA-d it for its LED-s, it's important for me ok?) Ty!

I've been trying to change the rgb led lights on my gigabyte 1070 g1 gpu and it doesnt change. I've tried RGB fusion, xtreme gaming and guru II and I can't control the led. It stays in default and displays the rainbow wave. The gpu works perfectly fine. When i received it, it came in perfect condition and hoping there's a simple fix. Any suggestions?

0. Actual problem My family and friends and every soul I told that I wanna build a pc replied "you dont have any experience/ you haven't seen anyone build a pc/ what if parts break?" I have been watching Linus since I got internet like 3-4 years ago I have downloaded the rgb pc build guide and listen to it everytime I am doing some boring repetitive tasks (writing project, etc). Somany people have said that I can't build I am doubting that if, just if i bend the pin of cpu or it the parts dont work? I wanted to buy from MDcomputers but there t&c states 3. I have a problem with my motherboard's rgb because I tried to switch on different colors but some of em is mismatch to the real color In this picture as you can see the AORUS text rgb is different on the Aorus logo rgb i choose pink color on this one. On this photo i selected WHITE RGB COLOR, I guess the AORUS TEXT rgb color is more accurate than the AORUS logo's color This last picture I choose TEAL RGB COLOR, but the AORUS logo is more accurate than the AORUS TEXT colors I am the only one experiencing this issue? Is the defective rgb board?

Hello fellow RGB enthusiasts! *cringes in 2k$ of rgb* I make this post primairly to show everyone that have not yet noticed this new amazing AURA software, but also for those who have and updated to it, to share their ideas and screenshot their sick profiles they made in the creator program! SO, if you haven't yet noticed, ASUS has implemented a new AURA panel into their ARMOURY CRATE application! AND, not just this, but you can actually download an app called "AURA Creator" from the microsoft store (for free ofc, you will see the download link on your armoury crate where for me it says applying advanced effect). And this software is just straight up amazing!!! Say goodbye to the old, useless, clunky, and badly optimised AURA software that we've had for the past years, and enjoy your RGB components to their fullest! How AURA Creator looks like inside: As I think you can see, this is not just amazing, easy-to-use - works with user friendly drag and drop, and almost every feature is self explanatory - and badass, but in fact YOU CAN FINALLY SAVE PROFILES in AURA!!! Yes, you can configure and sync everything with this app, (non-asus products that are AURA compatible - such as my G-skill TridentZ RGB ram, and RGB periferals (if you go to the device part in the middle-top on the pic) And take my word on this - if you manage to spend half an hour with the program to figure out how things work in it, you can really make sick ass profiles for you RGB. With this new software every single rgb in my system that used to look pretty shitty with old aura software (not smooth, chunky rainbows... so on) with this new software, you can make some really smooth god tier RGB configs. If someone asks for it, I'll share the second part in my setup which is something like a pruple-red wavy thing (it's lit af with ROG STRIX z390 and TridentZ RGB). On the lower right of the screen you can see Angle and Special effects, I personally have not yet figured out what the Angle part does, but the Special effects do what they look like they will - if you choose the (for example,) <--> button, your ram will change the color from the inside out, just like that, and if you set it to -><-, it will do like so. So you can only imagine the amount of possible setups here! Very nice, there's no other words to describe this. Note: For this to properly work you will have to compeletly uninstall your old-school AURA software with all of its components, since if you have the old one existing on your pc and the armoury crate one wanting to work too, they will collide and that will result in neither of the programs working, at least that was what happened with me.

To start off, yes, that is indeed D.Va all over the screens. She's best girl, sorry not sorry! I'm not exactly a build log kind of person, so I have like two pictures that aren't God awful in quality. This is my daily/gaming setup. The main reason for showing this off is the two monitors I recently wall mounted to add a bit more real estate to my desktop. The specs for the computer, as well as some of my other rigs, are in my signature, but I'll go ahead and break it down here anyways: CPU - Ryzen 9 3900x Cooler - Cooler Master 240MM AIO Motherboard - Crosshair VI Hero RAM - 2x8GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB @ 3000Mhz GPU - Dual GTX 1080 (No SLI currently for monitors) Storage - XPG 480GB N.vme SSD, 2TB Seagate HDD PSU - Corsair RM750x Case - Cougar Conquer As far as the audio goes, some of you guys might be interested in this: Kenwood KR-V8070 Two Crudely made "rear" speakers witch spare speakers I don't know the brand of Two not so crudely made center speakers with Infinity REF-4022cfx Two Kenwood JL-770s for left and right speaker. One Mitsubishi M-Sub12 Powered Sub woofer (stand in for the Mackie 18in sub woofer I loaned my father) Behringer Q802USB Mixer MXL R144 Ribbon Microphone DT 770 Prom 250Ohm At long last, here are the pictures, I'll try to take some more in the morning with some better lighting!

Hey, just bought the new corsair harpoon rgb wireless and I hate it. It works well, when it works. Most of the time I get insane lag or the mouse stops working mid-stroke. I've seen similar issues on Reddit but no solutions. Does anyone have any explanation or solutions? Basically my cursor tweaks and glitches, sometimes stops completely when im moving around. I've tested different surfaces and mouse pads. It works flawlessly when connected through the wire, so I know its for sure the wireless connection, just sucks because I bought it because its a wireless mouse. Currently using the 2.4ghz connection with USB dongle. I tried Bluetooth and it was atrocious. Thank you

Anyone who has assembled a PC in the past few years, has most likely encountered RGB parts and wondered if he should choose RGB lightning or not stay with a simple box. Those who chose RGB encountered a huge variety of RGB parts from different manufacturers who provide different software. Buying parts that are supported by the same software is often difficult and can cost several hundred bucks more. Everyone wants to sync their RGB and nobody wants to have multiple RGB control programs running in the Background. Besides, there is a massive community of Linux users who in most cases aren't even supported. We all need an unified cross platform RGB controller to get rid of that mess. Either you, the computer manufacturers collaborate and unite the RGB world or we, the users work together and develop our own open-source RGB software. <links removed> I hope together we can unite RGB!

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me, I have a motherboard with 2 fan headers and want to add 3 corsair RGB fans. Is it possible to use the three fans and still use their RGB iCue software to adjust them? Also, my board also doesn’t have any rgb headers. Thanks

Hey all, I wish to connect 4 fans top the Corsair H100i rgb platnium, but am unsure of how to do so. The AIO can power two individual fans, which comes with it, but i am not sure of how do 4 fans on it. Could i connect the additional fans to a cpu or chasis fan on the mobo, or use a splitter of the AIO's 2 fan connectors. TLDR: How to connect 4 fans to radiator, as in where to plug the wires into.

Hey there. I want to replace my current heatsink fan with a fan with RGB. My current cooler is the Arctic Freezer 33 Esports one with an Arctic BioniX F120 on it. Now my question: Do I have to use a specific fan with specific static pressure, RPM etc. or does any fan work, as long as it supports PWM? And I'd appreciate any recommendations! Edit: And would a Corsair ML120 Pro work for this heatsink? Thanks in advance, Meridian.

Hey all, Just wondering how do you set up a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum in a push config? Do I use the long screws included to go Case - Fan - Radiator?

Hi, I just recently built a new computer and after about the first week of using it, it started randomly restarting. It would completely shut off, then turn itself back on within about a second. I noticed that it happens mostly while playing games, but sometimes it will do it even if I'm browsing the internet. I got a little frustrated with it, so I ended up exchanging the parts with new ones, I started with my Ryzen 7 3700x and exchanged it for an Intel core i7 9700k with a water cooler. It was still persisting so I exchanged the RAM and power supply for new ones (same RAM and PSU, just for new ones). The problem still persisted so just yesterday I returned my RTX 2060 with a new one, yet the problem is still occurring. I exchanged almost every single part in here besides the case and the HDD & SSD. My temps are running perfect no matter what I'm doing with my computer, when the PC restarts, it has no Blue Screen of Death, it doesn't come up with any type of error code, it just completely shuts off, then turns right back on and brings me to the windows login screen. I turned off automatic restart with system failure, but the problem bypasses it, I reset the CMOS and installed a brand new version of Windows 10, oh and too add, nothing is overclocked in my PC as well. I know its not my outlet because it reset at geek squad as well. Hopefully we can work as a team and get this figured out, not just for me, also for the people who have this problem as well, or who will have it in the future, thank you!! PC Specs - PSU - Corsair CX750M (750 Watt Semi-Modular) CPU - Intel Core i7 9700k Mobo - MSI Z290 Gaming Plus RAM - Corsair RGB Pro Vengeance (3200 MHz) Graphics Card - RTX 2060 Twin Frozr 6GB Water Cooling - Corsair H100i RGB Platinum HDD - 1 TB Western Blue SSD - SunDisk SSD Plus 250 GB

I'm willing to buy fans from UpHere that have A-RGBs in them, and will be installing them on a ASUS ROG X570-E motherboard which has A-RGB Gen2 Connectors. So will these A-RGB fans work on them? Or will I have some issues? And whats the difference between A-RGB Gen1 and Gen2?

As the title says I want to get myself a new pair of fans.. actualy I want to get 6 to replace my old fans (they are broken and have no pwm control). Long story short: I want to get the 6 NXZT Aer RGB 2 fans. Problem: NZXT says But on the Pictures there are 6 fans and I aswell want to get 6 fans.. is this just a scam? Or do they mean 5 fans per channel (a total of 4*5 = 20 fans)? These will be 6 additional fans to my Kraken x72 (360mm) AiO liquid cooler witch comes with its own 3 fans.

Hi So I recently purchased an open box CORSAIR Crystal Series 680X RGB from Ebay. The issue I am having is that once I connect the lightning Node pro to the power supply and power it on the PSU just keeps on restarting itself. Once I disconnect the Node pro from the PSU it turns on just fine. This happens with or without the motherboard hooked up to the PSU. The PSU I have is the evga 1000 GQ 80 plus gold. I got the case on a good deal and it would still be cheaper for me to just buy the Node pro but before I do I just want to make sure that the Node pro is defected or atleast that being the consensus of the issue. This is my second computer that I'm building Thank you,

I'm gonna be ripping out all my watercooling and moving my PC into another case for air cooling and I want some suggestions for airflow config. I'm going to be using the Lian Li O11 Dynamic and I know that I'm definitely going to have 3 intake on the bottom and 3 exhaust on the top, but I'm not sure about the side setup. So at first I was going to have a 360 AIO on the side and pull intake but I realized that my LL120 fans will be facing away which I don't want because the fans in that position are the most visible. Instead I'm deciding to do AIO and push exhaust on the side so that I could still have the AIO on the side and show the nice side of the fans. In THIS part of HardwareCanucks' "9 fans in O11 Dynamic" video, the difference between using exhaust and intake for the side AIO isn't much of a difference so I think this will be okay. Also, since the bottom fans of the case will be blowing straight into the GPU, would it be a smart decision to vertical mount the GPU so that the air could get past? Basically I want to know if my fan config idea is a good setup, and if vertical mounting would be a good idea here. All help is much appreciated :).

Hi, i'm meaning to buy an NZXT 510i case and a Corsair H115i RGB PLATINUM CPU Cooler. I want to know if the cooler will fit inside the case. I've searched all around for the past hour and I can't seem to find an answer. Thanks!
