I have an antec df500rgb case that comes with three of their own rgb fans. I want to wire the fans to my motherboard(msi x370 gaming pro carbon) that only has 1 led fan header I am not sure how to do all of this as I've only built 2 computers before, do i need a fan hub and will it work with antecs fans or not

I recently got myself a gaming pc. I ordered the parts and got the pc built because i dont know how to. I have CoolerMaster Masterbox lite 5 rgb case and a MSI B450 Pro-M2 mobo, out of the box the person who built the pc gave me red coloured rgb fans in the case, but i cant change the colour of the fans. I have all the utility softwares of the mobo but even in the Mystic Light by Msi rgb software doesnt seem to get the case. I see that there is JLED1 header in my mobo and it is already plugged and that is why the case has red led i think. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO! HELP!

I am using Gigabyte B450m-ds3h motherboard and Cooler master masterbox mb500 cabinet. This case comes with three rgb fans preinstalled. It also has rgb controller. But i want to control fan color and color style via gigabyte rgb fusion app. The motherboard has 1 x cpu cooler LED strip/RGB LED strip header. Can i use rgb fusion with this motherboard to control my fans' rgb? If yes, how ? I have attached motherboard manual, if anyone would like to take a look. Thank you. mb_manual_b450m-ds3h_e.pdf

I'm going to do a display build in my uncle's hardware shop, with my own neon sign for my pc building corner. I was thinking of using the meshify c mini as many more ppl are going matx rather then full atx. Something like Skunk works. I'm wondering if it be worth using corsair's140mm light loops for its front fans, since it's a mesh. Will the lights come thru? Or should I mod the mesh piece?

so i want to switch my fans to rgb fans but i want to see the rgb from all sides which means all my fans will take air out of the case and none will take air in is it bad that all of the fans take the air out?

Hi , I have Xigmatek Aquarius Plus CASE which has 7 RGB Fans with it and it has a remote to control the colors of the RGB fans, and it is MY QUESTION: is there anyway to control the case RGB fans by using a software? Hello all, i am very new to this website but i do need help and i am very under experienced with installing lots of fans, especially rgb fans, my pc right now had a fan controller already inside that controls rgb and fan speed. I am looking to buy a new pc and i have most of my parts all sorted out ready to buy (waiting until end of november). My new computer will have a ryzen 7 3700x and a rtx 3070, The problem here is that i have alot of rgb fans, they come with the case and my MASTERLIQUID ML240L V2 RGB AIO. There is a rgb fan controller in the case but i have coolermaster fans with my aio and corsair fans in my case, it has come to my attention that i cant use the coolermaster fans on the rgb fan controller as they arent ARGB and need their own rgb header, As far as i know the motherboards i have been looking at (Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite, MSI B550 A PRO and Gigabyte B550 Gaming X) only have one rgb header that works with fans, Its stressing me out alot because i dont want to spend double on another AIO and i like the coolermaster one. PLEASE HELP!

Hey I'm upgrading my old system with a custom waterloop. I have some old Noctua fan that served me well but now I want some RGB in my life (bed-work-desk-bed). So I'm looking for good RGB fans for use with radiators (2x 240). My problem is, I have an old mainboard (Asus Maximus VI Impact) therefor I have NO RGB header on it. So I need a controller. I got an EK-Vector RTX 2080 RGB waterblock that I would like to add to the RGB System. I will have at least 4 fans maybe a 5th one depending of space in the case left. So the NZXT CAM Controller will not work. Corsairs Comander Pro with a Lighting Nod would be possible but it is so expensive and if I remember right is it a custom connector so I could not use the RGB on the GPU waterblock. Any suggestions for fans and controller ? Thank you for any suggestions -Frownwarrior

Hey there, I'm currently working on a Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-DELTA RGB Case, which comes with 3 RGB LED fans. They connect to the board via 3-pin fan connectors, which is fine, but the lights connect via standard onboard RGB header. All of them are connected to a single RGB 4-pin plug via included Y-cable. The problem here is, the board I am working with has no RGB header. Now my question is, how am I going to get those to work? Since it's a simple RGB connector meant to be plugged into the boards RGB header, wouldn't any cheap RGB controller work? Here's what's available in my area. It would be nice to either be able control it with a remote (which doesn't have to be connected via a cable, if possible) or via software, since I do have a free internal USB 2.0 header. I hope you guys can guide me a bit and help me find a product which isn't overly expensive, maybe even from my provided list. Cheers! :)

Hi, I have a plan to buy a single corsair ll120 fan for the rear fan bracket. I have few doubts which I can find a solution for 1. Does the fan RGB be lit by default if I use only the motherboard fan port? 2. My z270mx motherboard has a RGB_C port, Can I use that somehow to control the RGB?

So I set my Ryzen 7 build in my new cooler master master box lite 5 RGB. I have specs as follows. Ryzen 7 1700x Corsair H60 aio 16gb 3000mhz Viper 4 RAM 1tb sata HDD 500gb m.2 2280 v-nand (new) MSI gaming x RX580 8gb asus prime x370-pro corsair 850 watt power supply 3 rgb fans connected to single rgb header (new) 1 LED strip connected to Sata power (new) when i was in my old Azza hurrican case without the rgb fans only leds i never had this problem. It only happens once every couple boot ups. In my bios my ram is only registered at 2133, so I changed it to 2666 because I read that Ryzen 7 1700x can only support up to that. And if I change to 3000 my pc crashes. I do not believe I have updated my bios and this build is not even a month old. I have no idea why it started doing this but am I going to need to get an rgb controller to power it from data instead of mobo? Could that be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys! I have decided to build my own PC for the first time. I want to run 7 120mm RGB fans in unison through a P7H1. As I believe that I need a fan controller that: A. Controls the speed of the fans with 4 pin connections. B. Uses the motherboards aura sync to control the fan's colour scheme. It only has 2 RGB slots. So I would need to buy 2x 1 to 4 splitters to hook up the RGB element of the fans. Is that ok to put 7 fans between two ports or is that a no go? The hub also only has 5 4 pin ports. So again, I will need to buy a few splitters to put 7 fans in 5 ports. Alternatively. Could and should I buy a second hub and combine their outputs into my motherboards RGB header? If you respond please bare in mind I'm not even a novice in RGB and fan set ups. So be gentle! My asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0 doesn't have aura sync. RGB Controllers from brands I have heard of are expensive. I am planning to get Cooler Master MasterBox Pro 5 ( or a NZXT Razer case, suggest me too which one to buy, I have a rear exhaust and 125w tdp cpu, if that will help in helping me decide) and dont want to pay almost the same amount I bought the case for a rgb controller. Any way around? Also, I was wondering, could I use the front fans to cool my dual fan radiator ( place it on top of the fans)

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has dealt with RGB fans of any sort, and if anyone could recommend a certain brand or fan. I have been looking at the corsair LL series 120mm fans, but I am not sure on how hard they are to hookup (I already have a prebuilt build) that I would be using them in. I also looked at NZXT fans, but it seems like the LL Series ones have better customization and would not cost as much by the time you add the Hue + etc.. Thanks.

I was wondering how if I should purchase some Phanteks Halos for my PC, however I was not sure if my mother board, the ASROCK AB350 PRO 4 would be capable of connecting to them?

VIDEO REVIEW ( written below ): WRITTEN REVIEW : I promise I will not be punning. The Azza Hurricane RGB Lite. In the box : 3 RGB fans 1 RF remote 1 Molex to RGB cable ( 4pin ) Fairly priced at 39$USD the fans take an interesting approach to LED lighting on fans. Yes we have RGB , yes it still blows air but the way the lighting is implemented is quite different from other brands. Instead of lighting the hub like the SP series from corsair , or lighting the whole front like their HD series AZZA lights up the exterior frame of the fans leaving the blades dark and honestly… i think it's for the better. The blades have this snowflake design on them which honestly feels a little off but according to their website “Special grooves carved into the fan blades help reduce noise levels up to ten percent!”. Honestly I don't really consider snowflakes grooves but I can roll with it for now. The frame on the other hand has a feature called “Shark Teeth” which is supposed to create a vortex of air that is more focused. Here is where i think all these feature lower the performance of the fans, the shark teeth are placed directly behind the blades, combine that with thick hub spokes to route the wire to the 4 LED wires and the extension to one of the spokes for the hub motor wire and you get a lot of resistance behind the fans. In my testing, just a piece of paper stuck to the top of the fan , it performs pretty well against other generic case fans but when you put it against any other performance fans it does fall behind a little. With its 1500 rpm + 47cfm I would not recommend this fan to be against a 120mm radiator if you want to overclock. Now my review so far seems pretty negative so let me lighten it up with some of its positives. Its gorgeous ( look at my B-roll ), honestly the look of these fans is definitely different from those from other manufacturer. Its RGB ( duh ) and it has a RF remote ( yay for not having to point the remote wherever you hid that IR sensor ). With the remote , it can technically cycle through all 16mil some colours but the static colour options are limited to 7. You can actually connect the RGB of the fans to your motherboard if it supports it since it uses a good ol 4 pin RGB connector. The connector is also daisy chainable to other RGB devices i.e : RGB strips and It has rubber dampeners. I'm going to keep this review short since , well it's a fan review. Buy these fans if : -you have a RGB compatible motherboard -you want a different look from good ol corsair’s look -you are going to use them as case fans -you are going to put them on a 240mm radiator or on an air cooler I'm still working on my written review skills, i'm having a lot of trouble with syntaxe but I won't get better unless I write some and get some feedback, so feedback away below if you want ! and watch the video if you can ! hi heroes! i need professional help :-) with my project . wall pc custom case 155cm x 75 cm x 20 cm gtx 1080ti EVGA Hydro Copper 8700k (water ) cuplex kryos NEXT VISION 4x 360mm radiator (for 120mm fans) 2X 240mm radiator 2x120mm radiator 3x Syscooling SC-P90 1300L/H 4x 50mm/400mm water tank motheboard .......just no idea ...z370 or new z390 corsair dominator platinum 64gb 3333mhz power adapter rgb just no idea .... 18x rgb fans and this ist problem ! because i need pure sync with light and speed my favorite Aigo aurora C5 but max is 10 fans on one controller and other companies no better solution? thanks for every answer and idea!!!
