The left click broke and subsequently was lost when it fell out of the mouse. Is there a place I can buy a replacement? Somebody at Best Buy told me you can call logitech and they will give you one for free, but when I called some bot talked to me and told me to blow off its not a big deal ( basically tried to convince me I don't have a problem and hung up) Thanks

Hello there, I have a XMG Zenith 17 laptop, which is basically a modified clevo P870TM-G I think. It has a Nvidia GTX 1080 however after 5 years it has now died. At least im pretty sure it died, screen artifacts even when nothing is running and event viewer showed errors relating to TDR. Now I have to replace my GPU but getting a 1080 is basically only possible in used condition. So I'm thinking of upgrading, but to be honest i have but a rudementary understanding on the topic. Is it possible to Upgrade the GPU, and if so what things do I have to keep in mind? Does the Architecture of the new GPU need to be the same? Thank you all in advance. So I broke this window fan I would've tried soldering the blade back on but I don't have the blade now (it broke a while ago) I would've also liked to replace the fan blades entirely but I haven't found one on amazon or ebay. Closest I got is some 3 blade plastic ones So I'm asking if anyone knows where I can find a replacement blade? If anything could work well as a next best (like the 3 blade one)? The type of fan is shown in the 3rd picture If there is just no chance of fixing it then I'll just need somewhere to trade it in or some way to dispose of it safely

The New Pull you showed on the WAN Show are awesome. Why don't you make it so they are replacable without bending the zipper itself. Like have a lash at the end bottom of the pull that can open up and hock back in again. If you fear about liablity, you could even advise users that they should cut the old pull off, instead of bending the zipper.

Hi, my name is Luis, I am an engineering student. I have just started using a tablet as my note taking method. I am using the galaxy tab s7, while the experience has been great I need more than one screen most of the time. One for the actual writing and the other one for questions, theory and so on. I was looking for a second display for the tablet. However all had issues, too big, too small, resolution,... I came to the conclusion that the best screen was the one that the tablet uses. This way the screen resolution is the same and more important the size is perfect. It could be just like the LG phone that had two screens, not the wing, the one that opened like a book. The problem is that the replacement panel has no usb-C or any ports. Is there an adapter like the ones used on laptops screens. It has to adapt the flex connection to usb-C.

Hello, I recently purchased a RX 6800xt and I need to replace it. It unfortunately has unbearable coil wind. I am now in the market for a GPU that does not have a coil wind that has close to the same performance. I have read that the regular 6800 does not have this issue but I am open to other ideas. Is the 6750 worth looking at? I only game at 1080p @ 144hz. This is the card I bought :https://www.newegg.com/xfx-radeon-rx-6800-xt-rx-68xtalfd9/p/N82E16814150848?Item=9SIA2W0F8N6968 My budget to replace this card is around 550-580$ Thanks!

I bought the EVGA Z20 when it came out originally. Since buying it, I've had nothing but issues even after doing an RMA. The keyboard works great for a few months, then the keyboard will freeze while typing and shut itself off. The only way to get it to work again is to reach behind my computer to unplug the USB cables and plug them back in. I've used different USB ports to see if it was an issue with the ports, but it still does the same thing. After doing my last RMA I received what I "think" is a refurbished version, except this one has squeaky keys and keys that get stuck when pressing them. It is also having the same issues as the original one. TLDR: This keyboard has sadly been junk. Does anyone have good recommendations for mechanical keyboards used for gaming and typing? I'm going through videos from LTT but there's a lot to go through. There aren't any reviews that take place after months of use either, so I'm looking for first hand recommendations from keyboards that have weathered use and still perform great.

Hello! I have a Gigabyte Aero 15 Oled and I broke my screen (model: ATNA56WR14-0). In my country there are no thecnical assistence that want to do the replacement. By the model of the screen, I think that my laptop have a 40-Pin eDP QHD+ connector. Since I don't need such a high resolution, I started looking for more affordable ones, like the B156HAN08.0, witch have a higher framerate and lower resolution. I saw the datasheet of this model and found out that this have a 40-Pin eDP Touch connector. My question is: Can I plug a 40-Pin eDP Touch screen to a 40-Pin eDP QHD+ laptop without burning the laptop? Do I need to cut the last 10 wires? Or should I use a 30-Pin eDP screen plugged into an adapter like the one that is in the image? Sorry about my english PS: I saw this connector names here: https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/section/Articles/1245191276/Screen+connector/

Hi, I need help to decide whether to proceed with unit replacement OR continue with onsite/service center repairs OR use it as-it-is (with multiple issues). Two months ago, all of a sudden, I got one issue in my laptop (nearly 2 years old laptop) except that everything was perfectly working fine. The issue is that the start menu popping up on some key press other than windows key. Also, This mostly happens on the first boot of that day (everyday) (maybe we can call it as cold start) and most of the time disappears after sometime. Long story short. I had three onsite services for part replacements after remote diagnosis. Part replacement has not been done on third service as the laptop had more issues/replacements/failure after the last two service along with the above mentioned issue for which I have raised the ticket is not yet resolved. So, After escalation and multiple phone calls, they agreed and gave two options i.e continue with onsite/service center repairs OR unit replacement (As you all know, Refurbished and same/better specs/model based on availability). My Specs: Laptop: Alienware M15 R3 (Lunar Light) OS: Windows 10 Home (Version: 21H2) Display: 4k OLED 3840 x 2160, 60 Hz CPU: Intel Core i7-10750H GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 RAM: 16GB, 2667 Mhz SSD1: KIOXIA XG60 NVMe 1TB (Toshiba) SSD2: Samsung 970 Evo plus NVMe 2TB Long Story: The issue is that the start menu popping up on some key press other than windows key (like esc, ctrl, fn, fn+volume up, up arrow, down arrow etc). Also, This mostly happens on the first boot of that day (maybe we can call it as cold start) and most of the time disappears after sometime. I raised a service request two months ago and support team did a remote diagnosis for nearly a month. Finally they decided to go with keyboard replacement. On 1st Service - The first technician wasn't knowledgeable/experienced and his work resulted in a motherboard failure. The laptop wasn't turning on the first boot after he left and I tried to turn on the same day after some time and reported the same day. Next day morning I got response from support team that to try discharging the remaining power by pressing power button for some time (I have done that as instructed). But didn't turned on. Even the replacement keyboard had different issue. when I asked the technician, he just asked me to reinstall software (He mean windows reinstall) and was silent after for whatever I asked. They scheduled another onsite service after reporting and complaining about the technician work and what happened. In addition to that, As per the support team reply, They ordered motherboard along with keyboard to isolate the issue. On 2nd Service - The second (senior) technician tried to turn on the laptop but failed. So he replaced the motherboard along with the keyboard and the laptop powered on. So, he concluded that no power issue solved after motherboard replacement. The function key was having mechanical issue on a second keyboard replacement. He ordered the keyboard again (third time) after discussing with Dell Technical Support. The Alien Head on the lid wasn't turning the lights on. The original (Start menu) issue was still there after replacement. Found that the issue (left/right arrow also registering when pressed up/down arrow key resp.) is even showing up on BIOS. Even headphone jack port is not working properly. Getting clicking/popping sound while playing something, seems like it is happening when the sound starts and ends. Tested that headphone on another laptop and mobile. After that, As the original (left/right arrow also registering when pressed up/down arrow key resp.) issue is even showing up on BIOS and knowing that the issue is probably the hardware. Still, I have done a clean install of windows 10 and updated all the drivers and other things from both windows update and Support Assist. But, found that the issue is still not resolved. On 3rd Service - The second (senior) technician came for the third service. He tried to reconnect the cables related to the Alien head lighting. But didn't worked. So, he called Dell Technical Support and after telling what he has done. They told him that this might be again another hardware issue and to solve that whole Display and Motherboard will need to be ordered and replaced/checked one by one. as they suspect the alien head is not getting power from motherboard and also whole display need to be replaced if the wire which is responsible for alien head light is damaged. As I told earlier, I had only one issue in my laptop except that everything was perfectly working fine. So I escalated and after multiple phone calls, they agreed and gave two options i.e continue with onsite/service center repairs OR unit replacement (As you all know, Refurbished and same/better specs/model based on availability). However, I have another option i.e use it as-it-is with multiple issues as mentioned below. Replaced Motherboard due to technician fault Start menu popping issue (Original Issue and this is the only issue I had before the service) Headphone jack issue Alien head lighting not working Not so good function key (mechanical issue) on replaced keyboard Kindly read this thoroughly, provide your opinions.

So as stated in the title, I am in the market for a new keyboard. My daily driver is a full sized? (has a 10 key) corsair strafe V1 with cherry MX blues, which I have been using for the last 7ish years and have thoroughly enjoyed. However it is starting to show its age at this point and I think its time i give something else a try. With that said i was hoping for some advice/recommendations for another fullsized keyboard with similar features and feel (other switch types that are similar to cherry mx blues). I understand that there is a newer version of this keyboard with cherry mx reds, but having tried it, I found I really enjoy the tactile feel and noise of the Blue switches. Additionally any key cap sets you could recommend feel free to add, price range can be up to ~$250. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated, -Pulpypanda

I'm looking to relace the batteries of a couple of old Dell latitude e6430 laptops. They work fine while plugged in, but die as soon as unplugged, so I'm sure the batteries are pretty much dead. Which manufacturers (uk available) have good reputations for battery replacements? Thanks.

I have a clevo p775tm1-g laptop from 2019. A few months ago the screen got hitted and has a small and barely noticeable stain. It's not a big issue and the laptop works as good as the first day. The thing is that right now I'm currently living in Europe and there are not many webpages that sell replacements other than eBay. So, I would like to know from someone who has bought replacements from eBay could recommend to get the replacement from there or if it's a webpage that sells replacements for my laptop? I attach some screens from ebay. For me, the prices are ok but I would like to hear (read) other opinions.

Hey, so my friend just recently gave me his old case, but the power switch/button is missing.. Is there anywhere to buy a new one? I've seen there's a lot of different sites (including the offifical Phateks site) that sells replacement parts, but they don't seem to sell power buttons? Please let me know if you know where to get a new button or an alternative. Link for the case, just in case: https://phanteks.com/Eclipse-P300A.html

Hey guys, I just saw the upgrade video from Linus with his retro console and got a little bit inspired. So I tought I could upgrade my PsP 3004. The problem is I can´t really find some parts or even a website with kind of that stuff. What I´m looking for is: - A Mini-USB replacement to mayby USB-C? - An OLED-Screen? or just a better alternative to then normal screen - A better Wifi Card or just a workaround to connect it to the internet again (cause WPA2+3 is not working and I don´t want to change the encryption of my WIFI) - A power conector replacement for USB-C (Thats the easy part I guess) - And, if possible, a case without the UMD-Drive (I don´t use it) in exchange for mayby something else(for example a larger battery slot) I hope someone here has done this before and got a little advise for my where to start or just the advice to stop right away Thanks

Hi there, I'm new to this community so I may not be able to cover all the details I've missed. A month ago I've got a used Galax GTX 1060 from a friend and started mining on Hiveos Linux system, everything seems normal until a few days ago, it crashed due to cuda error: "The launch timed out and was terminated" (code:6) from NBMiner. I tried rebooting but still the same error happened every 3minutes it had booted up, then I removed the gpu and the problem was solved for the rig. Later, I installed the gpu in my normal windows rig, my specs are followed: Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor, 3800 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) Motherboard: MSI B550 GAMING EDGE ATX GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB RAM: Corsair 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 (x2) PSU: ASUS ROG STRIX 750W GOLD PSU It booted up surprisingly without major issues, yet until I tried booting up Dead by Daylight on my device, the game started running for a minute then the screen froze while the audio was playing, shorty after the whole game crashed. After I tried booting up some other games like Minecraft, Roblox and Euro Truck Simulator 2. Minecraft and Euro Truck Simulator 2 were able to boot without problem but the game Roblox got the same result. Later I have found multiple forums on the internet and tried the following fixes: Uninstalling and reinstalling Nvidia GPU driver Install Nvidia CUDA driver Underclocking my GPU on MSI Afterburner Checking on GPU-Z if GPU not detected (It appeared to be normal) When everything didn't work out, I reinstalled windows. However, the problem still remained after reinstalling (or even worsening), I got Wallpaper Engine on my device it used to work probably and now it just wouldn't boot probably. Then, I changed my focus on hardware and tried several fixes: Replacing 2 Corsair ram with another spare 2 Corsair ram (also underclocking which didn't work) Replacing my GPU with my old Rx 580 (it worked probably but after swapping back the problem remained) When I thought all hope was lost and tried benchmarking, the funny part is the gpu was able to run different benchmarks without graphics glitches or freezes. Now I am really confused, I could figure out it must be something wrong with the cuda, but it seems to be a rare case for both the gaming and mining community. It even reaches the professional server-level field. As an ordinary miner and gamer, it seems out of my reach for solving. Now the gpu was used for basic uses. If anyone with adequate knowledge about this problem, please help, I'm willing to post anything needed. Thanks, T

Alright so I have been trying to find a replacement for google drive for a while but I've had some issues with trying to replace some functionality of Google Drive. All I really want to be able to do is to host files on a server locally, then be able to create a link to either the file itself or to a folder that has files in it, then be able to send people that link in order for them to download it. I know that if I have a server setup to be accessed remotely I could always have people login and find the files they want and download them, but I work with a lot of non tech savvy people who would not be able to navigate that kind of structure, and Google Drive's ability for me to just create a link for them to click is something I couldn't do without. If anyone knows of a NAS OS or anything like that that has this capability it would be greatly appreciated

Hello, I broke one of the fans on my GPU recently (snapped a blade) and I'm looking to fix it or replace it myself. RMA isn't really an option for me since I don't have another system to use for work/school. Do you guys know where I can order a replacement set of fans for this? I've tried reaching out to MSI support in the past but I haven't heard back from them at all. Anything would be helpful! My GPU

5700xt Gigabyte 5700xt replacing shroud with 2x120mm case fans
hergarian posted a topic in Graphics Cards
Hello! First time poster here. I need some help concerning my 5700xt project. I'm planning to remove the original shroud/fan assembly off of my Gigabyte 5700xt and replace it with two Actic P12s. Reason for that simply being noise. I don't want to run them using a motherboard fanheader, so I'm planning to connect them to my GPU fanheader and let them be controlled via that. Thing is, I can't find any diagram or something of that sort onling showing me what pin is responsible for what and in which orientation. Also I'm unsure on how the fans will behave. The original assebly is rated for 12V 0.35AMP while one arctic fan is 12V 0.08AMP. Will that be a problem? Thanks in advance and sorry for my english -
Hey y’all, I’m trying to figure out a mobo for my next build but was struggling to find one that suited my needs. The rog strix B550-A gaming (link below) fits most of my needs, (good io; ryzen 5000 compatible; ATX; white, silver and black color scheme; won’t bottleneck high-end parts), yet it doesn’t have built-in wireless WiFi. Do y’all have any recommendations for a board that fits these requirements that is a good replacement? Thanks! -TomPot Link: https://www.newegg.com/asus-rog-strix-b550-a-gaming/p/N82E16813119349?Item=N82E16813119349&nm
