I'm new to this forum. I'm working on a PC build using a Lian Li O11 Dynamic Razer Edition I purchased from eBay. The vendor didn't know how to pack it well and when the case arrived the side tempered glass panel was shattered. I already contacted the vendor and a full refund is in the process. The vendor doesn't want the case back because they would be responsible for return shipping which is about $85 from my location to theirs so they're letting me keep it. Only the side panel was shattered but the front panel is intact. The only other damage was to the base which is made of plastic and only the bottom right rear corner was broken off. I think I can repair this which rapid bonding epoxy or super glue. This will be my first build in over 15 years. Does anyone have recommendations as to replacing the side tempered glass panel? I already contacted Lian Li and am waiting for their reply to see if they sell the base and the tempered glass panel. What could be other options? Acrylic, fiberglass? All recommendations are welcome and thanks!

Black Friday 2019 I was preparing for college and I excitedly purchased a Razer Blade 2019 Adv 15" for $2,554.59 post tax. This was my first experience with a full fledged gaming laptop but I knew about the heat issues that come with a small form factor laptop. Because I was going to college and I NEEDED this laptop to last for a couple of years, I undervolted my CPU and GPU to make it last as long as possible. Here is a list of my troubles. Screen flickering issues: sent into Razer for RMA and had a screen replaced After receiving my device, a week later, same issue began. I "fixed" this by limiting the frame rate of my screen. A few months later, my trackpad began to act up. Clicking was no longer tactile and satisfying, felt like a $500 dollar laptop, not a $2500 one. A few weeks later, my a key began to act up, the feeling was extremely soft and would require barely any force to be depressed. A few weeks later, my laptop battery swells up to a point where the razer support people told me to immediately stop using the device for fear of bodily harm and an explosion. Sent into Razer for RMA and the device came back with paint chipped off the edge of the screen. Now, I purchased an XMP capable DDR4 3200MHz set of 2x16GB ram but the computer will freeze and crash after two hours and no XMP profile shows up in the bios. Yes my bios is updated to the latest version. This is by no means me getting annoyed at those lovely men and women on the reddit or at the razer call center. They have been 100% professional and helpful all the way through. I am however extremely disappointed at the workmanship of a $2500+ laptop. Quite frankly, I'm so frustrated I'm almost have the audacity to ask for a one year in. Maybe this is a one off thing but damn...

Budget (including currency): US$800 Country: United States of America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light gaming such as Minecraft, Hearthstone, perhaps WoW if I have time. This will primarily be used for teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses, performing remote accounting services for my private clients and I'd like to get into creating video content for my accounting practice. Current parts lists with prices paid. Purchased and ready to go Mobo: ASRock B550M Steel Legend $109.99 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor $199.99 RAM: OLOy WarHawk RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 $ 74.99 HD: Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME SSD $ 54.99 Chasis: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic Razer ATX Full Tower Case $ 36.22 PSU: Apex AG 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $119.99 Video: EVGA GeForce 210 1024 MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Video Card $ 47.99 Peripherals: Razer All Star Bundle Christmas Gift (Free) Total invested so far is $644.16 minus sales tax. Still need/would like to purchase Chasis Fans: Lian Li UNI SL120 58.54 CFM 120 mm Fans 3-Pack Video: ASRock Radeon RX 570 8 GB Phantom Gaming D Video Card CPU Cooling: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB Chasis bought on auction at eBay but arrived with shattered tempered glass side panel and broken foot peg. Vendor refunded all money and told me to keep case. This price represents the supplies I purchased at Lowe's to make my own acrylic clear panel to replace the tempered class side panel. Other than that there are no visible dents on the case. I think I got a good deal considering MSRP on this case is currently $169.99 as of the writing of this post. I purchased the GeForce 210 video card from a local computer parts store because video cards are a bit overpriced as of this posting and this way I'll be able to still use the computer and perform work while I save up to buy the rest of the computer parts. Since I got a great deal on the chasis I was hoping to get advice on the remainder of the parts that I'd like to buy. I know many will have strong opinions about the Radeon cards but I feel that for my use case I will be well served by it. If anyone else knows of a good value at around $200-$250 USD for a video card then please comment on this thread. If someone has any suggestions for a low cost, effective closed loop AIO CPU cooler at less than $150 then also respond on this thread. Otherwise I'll just leave the stock cooler. The last time I build a system was with an AMD Athlon system and before that was an Intel Pentium III system with an ATI Radeon graphics card and SoundBlaster sound card (remember those). Thanks for your input.

laptop LAPTOP recommendation for color grading
SunilRekt posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
I'm in need of recommendations for a laptop with good color accuracy, hardware and good brightness (400-500 nits). I do mainly photography & videography so color grading and color accuracy are KEY .I've been eyeing the Razer Blade 15 4K Oled and the Dell XPS 17". I'm not much of an apple guy although they make lovely displays on their macbook pros, but they've soldered on literally everything, meaning no upgradability for ram or storage; ridiculous. Please help!- 1 reply

I use a RAZER blackwidow essential as my daily driver and was thinking of adding an old keyboard I have a a macro board. Is it possible to trick RAZER synapse 3 into recognizing it as a RAZER product that I can edit from there or would I have to use Taran's luamacro and auto hotkey method (which I am not opposed to doing I just would prefer to use synapse)

I have zero experience with Razer products and 60% keyboards in general, but I've wanted a 60% keyboard for a while now. Coming straight from the Mac, I'm not a big fan of full-size keyboards, so the fact that 60% keyboards are really small is what draws me to them. I play mostly racing games, so I don't use mouse and keyboard for gaming. I'm a comic book colorist by profession and most of my time is spent in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet and a keyboard. Honestly, I don't care about switch types, sound/rattle, RGB, num pads or customization. What I do care about is how comfortable and durable the keyboard is, especially since it was only a year before my G513 Carbon started registering double presses across the board and the left Ctrl key broke clean off the switch which is very disappointing considering how careful I am with my stuff. I feel I should mention I live in Brazil which severely limits what keyboards I have access to. In fact, the Razer Huntsman Mini is the only 60% keyboard I've seen being sold here so far, hence why probably any suggestions for different brands or models won't really work for me as I'm unable to buy them. I have a couple questions I was hoping people who have a lot of experience with Razer products could answer: 1. Are Razer products durable? I'm not expecting it to last 10 years, but lasting only 1 year like my G513 is a bit too little for me. 2. Are 60% keyboards usable for people who mostly work in Photoshop or is it just not practical? I'm willing to work around any shortcomings it might have except for the one on question number 3. 3. I have 4 Photoshop Actions I use all the time mapped to Shift + F2/F3 and Ctrl + F2/F3. I know the Huntsman Mini requires the Fn key to be pressed to activate the F-keys but I was wondering if Synapse would allow me to map a macro like Fn + Shift + F2/F3 and Fn + Ctrl + F2/F3 to a single key press on the keyboard, so that I could keep doing these shortcuts with one hand rather than having to use two. 4. I also know you can map the Fn key to Caps Lock. However, in this case does it become a toggle or a press/hold sort of action? Thanks in advance for your help!

Got the opportunity to grab these for £46 or if I should stump up the extra £14 for the Hyper X Cloud II? I know they're generally a £100 headset but don't know if that normal £40 premium above the Clouds is worth it when they're in the same ballpark price?

Hello, do any of you own this new Razer keyboard, if so, how do you like it? Does it feel sturdy? Is the space bar wobbly? Also, do you have to log in to use the Razer software? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

I want to purchase a dock for the Razer Blade 15 (Early 2020 Advanced Model). I have tried the DELL WD19TB, only to find that the USB and ethernet wouldn't work. I tried all the drivers, even a firmware update but the PC wouldn't detect the dock to start the firmware update - even on an XPS. Having spoken to a DELL engineer whilst at work, it seems like DELL Docks (especially thunderbolt) are definitely not high up on the reliability scale - this does make sense given the amount of DELL dock issues we have had to deal with at work. I'm returning the Dell WD19TB today, and am thinking about the Lenovo 40AN0135EU - THINKPAD THUNDERBOLT 3 DOCK GEN 2 as a next attempt - we have used lenovo docks at work before and I can't think of anyone having issues with them before (granted we have never used the dock with a Razer Blade). Can someone let me know if they have tried/used this with the Razer before, and what levels of success you got with it? Before anyone asks, yes I have done the classic amazon search for "thunderbolt dock", but it seems that all the generic docks (from Elgato, Belkin, Startech, CalDigit, etc.) all either do not have sufficient display ports (I need at least 2 full size displayport ports) or do not supply sufficient power, I'm looking for at least 130W (I know that's not the full 230W that can be used to charge the Razer, but should be enough to stop it discharging when the laptop is in normal use) - trickle-charging is not a problem for me, as I will be having the laptop "docked" for 8+ hours at a time. The Razer Blade 15 Early 2020 Advanced laptop does support USB-C charging - it worked with the DELL WD19TB, and it works with my ~85W Macbook Pro charger, so that's not a worry for me. I wish that Razer would just make a TB3 dock, they're really good with build quality and I have no doubt that it would be a high class "top notch" dock. It would probably get them a lot of money too, manufacturing a device to turn a gaming laptop into a fully-fledged gaming desktop setup with a single cable. First time using this forum, make me proud fellow IT-ers!

So, im thinking of getting a new headset when i manage to earn another $100 so my budget would be $300 as im tired of using a wired one due to the caveats it brings. I was also wondering if i should just save up to buy a 1440p, 144hz monitor fopr $500 or just get the wireless headset for $300? And if so, i was wondering if 1440p was worth it or a wireless headset is more. (Note im still saving up) For headset just need $100, whilst monitor $200 Also if possible, please list some headset options or monitor options (Australian Dollars)

Apologies for the long title! Could someone please confirm the following for me please, - will this Dock allow detection of the peripherals aside from "standard" so that they can be used with their own software (non-Razer) ? (Logitech G Pro Mouse, Keyboard, Headset) - will it be enough to power the above, plus a GoXLR Mini with a r0de PodMic and allow the correct detection? - does the Dock support 1080p/240Hz? Longer story, - I just bought a Razer Stealth with a 1650TI and the 65W power supply is not enough when using Sandboxie for multiple (RaidSL) game instances (battery drains slowly) - the dock above can delivery 90W to laptops; - thinking of buying a Blade 14 AMD RTX3070 to replace my main desktop in the man-cave but I need more connectivity (2x monitors through DP, GoXLR Mini, 2x Logitech Mice, 1x Logitech Keyboard (might prefer over the laptop one). In this scenario, both the laptop charger and the Dock will be plugged to the wall. If someone can suggest a cheaper dock but doing the same or better and not massive size, in the UK, please go ahead Thank you

I installed Razer Synapse 3 for my mouse (Naga Hex 2) and keyboard (Black Widow Elite). However, it seems to cause Microsoft Edge to freeze and sometimes freeze the games for a few seconds. I decided to stop it from running (i.e., disable it via the startup and services) and all seems to be running as per normal. The only feature that was lost was the control over the RGB LEDs - which I could live with. I would like to know is there any other features that I am missing out that I don't know yet? Is Razer Synapse 3 necessary?

So it was working fine for the longest time, and then one day I go to power it on and it seems like its stuck in a sleep state. Keyboard lights up, but the display doesn't come on and the activity led flashes as if it's asleep. Connecting to an external display and using keyboard commands to try to switch outputs was fruitless and the caps lock light was locked on. I tried the razer suggested combo of holding the power button and unplugging the power cable and that didn't do anything. I finally got my hands on a set of screw drivers to open up the machine and tried a full removal of the battery and storage to try to force it to post and it still behaved the same when connected to wall power with no battery or storage. Aside from a dead ram chip or something on the motherboard there's nothing more I can think of. Am I missing anything?
