Out of the blue my pc started to randomly black screen when doing just about any task. Playing a game seems to make the pc crash in only about one to five minutes and when browsing the interent it takes some time longer. When the pc black screens the fans continue spinning and lights inside the PC remain on but the screen is just black until the pc is manually restarted. I have tried; Uninstalling and reinstalling video drivers Using the win + ctrl + shift + b shortcut to reset video drivers when the crash occurs (nothing happens) Turning off 'Link State Power Management' in the power plan settings Checked the power supply has an adequate power rating for the components in the pc Reinstalled monitor drivers I suspect the issue is related to the graphics card but I am all out of ideas to reslove the issue. SPECS: CPU - Ryzen 3 2200g GPU - GTX 1050ti RAM - 8gb PSU - EVGA 500B MOBO - Unknown (I am unsure on the specifics of some of the parts as the PC is second hand)

So I recently built a computer, (Specs: 3070 TI, Ryzen 5 5600x, 4 sticks of 8gb corsair Vengance RGB pro RAM, Rog Strix b550 a gaming) And once and awhile it does this weird thing where the fans go in a diff color setting and my computer doesn't let me shut it off via the power button or shut down option in windows. It also does not let me select any of my task bar settings. I can still move the cursor around and if I am watching a YouTuve video it still plays. In order to shut it down I use the power supply's switch. And right before it happens I can tell because the fans get LOUD, they also go in a different color setting. I don't think it is due to overheating because I was just watching Funimation when it happened. Simple things. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Yes I do have ICUE software for my corsair fans and ram, works fine. my fans go for about 950 rpm. Other specs, Corsair RM750, RM Series, 80 Plus Gold 750. ll20 corsair fans and a nzxt z73.

Problem Explained: PC crashes at random times, black screen (sometimes its grey screen at first, then it eventually goes black) while fans keep spinning, RGB strip also on, CPU LED lights up on the motherboard and no more audio coming through. To get my system running again, I have to press restart switch on my case. Before the crash, audio sounds distorted/loops/freezes for half second or so, if there is any audio playing while the crash happens. What I have tried to fix the problem: RMA'd CPU, Motherboard, RAM, PSU, and SSD as advised by Mindfactory (company i purchased parts from) they told me everything is fine and sent it back to me. Reinstalling windows (clean install), Reinstalling all drivers, using a different outlet, Updating BIOS(3 different versions), reseating the CPU, reseating GPU, using a different GPU (r7 260x 1gb sapphire oc), reseating RAM, using different RAM, unplugging and plugging all cables, using different PSU, changed power supply idle control (from auto to Typical current idle) in BIOS/AMD CBS, ran memtest86 (zero errors), I've ran benchtests like cinebench, heaven benchmark, prime95 and Intel burn test multiple times to try and recreate the crash but i had no luck. All temps look fine, crash also happened plenty of times while my PC was idle with temps 30c-35c. I've also had the crash happen on 3 different monitors with 3 different cables. Additional details: I used to have XMP enabled and ran my RAM on 2933mhz, then i turned the XMP off and ran my ram at 2133mhz to see if that was causing my problem. I thought the problem went away with XMP OFF but my PC crashed again with everything set on stock, no OC anywhere at all and XMP turned OFF (even thought i think XMP should work with my configuration). Only thing i noticed is, when XMP is turned ON the crashes are more frequent. For example, PC ran fine for 2 months with XMP off then all of the sudden it crashed, and with XMP on it crashed in 15 days. All in all, crashes are random, sometimes they happen 2 times in 20 mins and sometimes it takes 2 months. I've been dealing with this ever since I bought it (over 1 year ago) and cant seem to find what's causing the problem. Also can't figure out a way on how to recreate the crash, that would be really helpful. Any tips/info are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have a MSI RTX 3080 Gaming Trio for about 2 months or more. My PC recently started to randomly restart. It feels like the power suddenly cuts out, everything from the monitors go black instantly and after 1second the CPU restarts on its own. I am certain that it doesn't depend on load because it doesn't restart if I stress but it sometimes restarts when I am just browsing the web. Sometimes when I start my PC in the morning it won't start immediatly it fails to start a couple of times. I have to switch off the main power outlet and turn it on again to make my PC start. The restart generally happens around once a day. Here is my Full specs: -CPU: intel i7 8700 - Mobo: Asus Z370-P Prime -GPU: MSI RTX 3080 Gaming Trio -PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 850W -CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Platinum -HDD: Toshiba 1TB and Segate Baracuda 4TB - SSD: Intel SSD 256GB and Samsung EVO 970 plus 512GB - Triple Monitors * My Gpu has 3 PCIe sockets, the cables from my PSU had 2 headers on each wire so I used 3 headers from 2 wires. How can I pin down the source of the problem ? Thank you

System Specs GPU: Gainward GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Phoenix GS CPU AMD Ryzen 9 3900X RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 2933MHz 32GB x2 SSD: Samsung PM981a SSD 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe M-Board: ASUS ROG Strix X570-F GAMING, S-AM4 PSU: Corsair TX850M, 850W PSU Windows 10. So i am having the issue that my computer seemingly at random gets black screen and loosing connections on my monitors and then ¨restarting¨ itself and then launches back to normal. It is not a restart of the computer because i am still logged in and in game (World of Warcraft for an example) but i am getting the same issue sometimes when i am just watching youtube and have nothing else up in the background. Sometimes it goes days without any blackscreens and sometimes it's 2 times per day but i can't seem to force it to happen with overloading with tests and such. I don't know what to try with anymore so i come here for help. Thanks in advance.

GPU: 5700xt Red Dragon CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x RAM: 16gb G.Skill TridentZ RGB PSU: EVGA Supernova 650w G3 MOBO: Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming SSD: 860 EVO 2tb OS: Windows 10 :Display Port: PC has been having issues in regards to just seemingly randomly having an issue (this most recent was during playing Modded Minecraft (Dedicated 8gb of Ram) in which my monitor will go black, I then can hear audio (voice chat, game) for 2-3 seconds but then that goes away too. My PCs fans go to seemingly max and the RGB of all the components stays on, I left it like that for a few minutes but It doesn't restart itself (I also attempted resetting my display drivers which didn't work). I was forced to do a manual restart and was then greeted by a black screen again and a red light signal from my Mobo. Though after restarting a second time the entire system worked as normal and stayed that way for the rest of the day, about 5 hours. It does appear to only happen while playing Games but the games that experienced crashes (Minecraft, Crusader Kings 3, Halo Reach, and Mount and Blade Bannerlord where I've had the most crashes) aren't particularly stressful titles. I've checked for temperature issues but max GPU was 80-83 and max CPU was 69. (not the best but within spec) Event Viewer has not been helpful at all only reporting my own manual restart. I've been dealing with this issue on and off for the past couples months, I've updated drivers, disabled different programs such as CAM and reseated the power pins (which I had thought finally fixed it as one of the VGA to the PSU got loose). I've also ran multiple stress tests of the CPU/GPU in OCCT and ran multiple benchmarks on 3dmark to test if it was a power issue but it did not crash during either. This has been an extremely difficult issue to deal with as the crashes are extremely sporadic (happening seemingly about once a week) and I can hardly ever recreate them. I was only ever to semi recreate the crashes via using the Blacksmith in M&B Bannerlords but I've got no idea what that would point too and it also stopped working as effectively. RegardlessI appreciate any response that may help in narrowing down the issue, I just pray it's not the GPU because of the market!

Hello, Recently I have been very frustrated with the seemingly random hangs, crashes, and even (more recently) restart loops that I have been expereiencing with my system (1 month old system). I have tried to do some reaseach but with no success, likely due to not understanding which direction to look into. For this reason, I request any and all help that might help me sort this out! PC specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6 cores @ 3.6 Ghz Processor coolers for AMD Processors: Cooler Master TX3 Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi + Bluetooth GPU: AMD Radeon 5700 8GB The memory: Corsair Memory (3200Mhz) Corsair Vengeance (3200Mhz): 16 GB Memory PSU: Seasonic Core Gold GC 650 Watt Startup Disk: 500 GB Samsung 970 Evo Hard drive storage: 1 TB Normal storage Operating System: Windows 10 Home English Description: Since the first time the system began crashing I did a clean installation of windows. From there it operated fine for a day or so. However, it then randomly hanged yet again. I have noticed that in the motherboard the debug LEDS are RED sometimes but they are very inconsistent. They will always trigger on a crash. On some boots 2 LEDs are Red, on other boots only 1. Usually rebooting gets rid of them however, the system will seemingly work fine with any of these scenarios (that is untill a crash which might take minutes, or even hours). I have run strain tests, and CPU tests, and the system performed fine during the roughly 10 to 15 minutes that it took. However, I have noticed ever since I switched the power profile to high performance it has began to have hangs more often. Although its weird because I can be playing a very demanding video game and the system will not crash, and then when im simply browsing firefox it will crash. Today I had a system crash followed by a restart locked loop that I only managed to break after a forced shutdown. Please find attached a screenshot. I would really appreciate any technical input and guidance on how to proceed to attempt and solve this issue. Thank you all for reading. Kind regards, Pedro

Hi, No matter what game I am playing may it be GTAV, RD2, or even HoTs the PC randomly crashes following up with restart back to the login screen. No BSOD or message to say what happened before hand. Each day I play a game it crashes and this has happened 7 times now. I've tried updating to the latest OS (Version 20H2), reset my PC with my 3 HDD's disconnected because they contain all my games and 3D modelling stuff, update my GPU to the recommended drivers, placed my power settings into balance mode, cleared any dust in the PSU filter and finally my BIOS settings are default. My PC temps are fine too. 15 minutes ago I was playing HoTs and the PC crashed. I thought maybe if I tried disconnecting a fan connected to a splitter that would resolve something, idk. I've attached two Event Viewer crash logs. One before Windows reset and one after. Specs: CPU: i5-9600K 3.70ghz GPU: AMD Radeon RX5700 PSU: EVGA 600W HDD: 3 SSD: 1 Fans: 3 (One disconnected for testing) RAM: 16GB After Windows Reset - Crash1.evtx Crash6.evtx

So I had this issue in my laptop for a while now, it only happens occasionally. I don't know what triggers it too. My laptop has 2 nvme - m.2 slots. Both of which are occupied by 512 gb ssds. 1 was pre-installed and I only added the 2nd one - an adata xpg sx8200 pro 512gb, the stock was an intel 660p. So my issue is occassionally my laptop freezes and the only way to get out of it is to force shutdown/ restart the system. But after restart it will then always be stuck at the bios splash screen. To 'fix' this I had to pop the back open, remove the 2nd ssd (adata), reboot and it will continue the boot up. Then i'll shutdown again and put back the 2nd ssd to have the 2nd storage back to the system. It will always work with this supposed 'fix'. Is this an ssd issue? I had this laptop for a year now and it happened for I'd say more or less 10 times. But just yesterday it happened twice (counts towards 10) - first one after closing a game and the second one just before shut down. It becomes now a chore to - remove screws > pop lid > remove ssd > reboot > shutdown > re - seat ssd > close lid > replace screw just to 'fix'. Hoping anyone would sheld a light to this issue I am facing. If this is an ssd problem Other notes: I have no spare ssd to check if there are any issues withthe socket/ laptop itself or another laptop to check if the freezing issue occurs to that other laptop too if I would install the adata ssd there too. Specs: Ryzen 7 3750h; 1660ti max q; 16 gb ram

Hello, I have been experiencing issues wit my PC recently. My Pc would just gone to the shutdown screen after awhile. I thought It was the PSU l, so I replaced it with a new one just a couple days ago, but the problem's still there. I have also cleaned my PC to make sure It's not a heat problem to no avail. The temperature is around 29 degrees when idle. Could It be the motherboard? I have just replaced the motherboard last December. This problem occured after I updated my graphics driver, I have tried to roll back, but it also didn't work. Here's my specs: MSI A320M A-PRO RYZEN 3 2200G 16 GB RAM 128 GB TEAM ELITE SATA SSD 512 GB ADATA M.2 NVME SSD CORSAIR CX450M 450W PSU Thank you. UPDATE: I'm not sure what happened, but the problem has been solved. I tried to reseat everything one more time and the random shutdowns is now gone, this didn't work last time.

Hello helpers, I recently purchased a bunch of parts on newegg to build my sister a super nice PC that she could use to stream and play all her games at max settings on 1440p. Here are the specs followed by the problem. Processor: Ryzen 9 5950x with noctua nh-d15 cooler Ram: 2x Corsair Vengeance 8gb 3200Mhz GPU: Asus Rog Strix RTX3080 12gb Mobo: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus Storage: Samsung 970 m.2 ssd 2tb PSU: Corsair RM750x 2018 The problem is random restarts, with event ID41 in event viewer which basically means nothing. She will be watching a video on youtube, playing a game or something and it just suddenly reboots. What was done so far to no avail. -Checked temps, cpu stays under 80 degree and so does gpu, chipset stays under 70, ssd under 50. so temps seems fine (that was during the 30 minutes aida64 test) -Use an uniterruptible power supply unit (cyber power pure sine wave CP1500PFCLC) to supply better input current. -Test ssd using samsung magician, did a complete test that took 40 minutes and no error detected. -Tried windows 10, windows 11, nothing changes still reboots randomly. -Tried keeping XMP profile disabled -Tried setting game mode in ryzen master -Tried 3 different bios versions -Ran aida64 complete stress test for 30 minutes, temps were stable and no crash. -on the cyberpower ups there is an lcd that showed peak wattage of 696 watts under the 100% stress test in aida64 and as i said it didn't crash which seems to indicate that the psu is right on the edge but still high wattage enough to ensure stable 100% use. -Using high performance power mode in window. -The ram was used in a previous computer with no issue whatsoever, same for the power supply. I've read about many things, from psu, to bad ram, to bad motherboard or cpu, it seems that it could be basically anything. I think i am still within RMA time with newegg as i received the components less than 1 month ago. So yeah, what would you guys do, do you experience similar issues? what do you suggest i try to fix the problem? Thanks for your input! I might edit my post later if I think about more things i've done. DxDiag.txt

Hi, so I was casually playing ets2 (Euro Truck Simulator 2) when all of sudden, BAM game went incredibly laggy! I was like whoa! That was strange so I carries on thinking of nothing but then it got worse 1 fps. So exited the game downloaded a different version but then it was still happening so then I was like ugh let's just close it and restart. But when I closed the game down I heard 3 fast beeps. Never heard it before. So I restarted to be sure and researched it and may be a problem with ram but it was fine after that. Am I just worrying. Any ideas will be appreciated.

So, i have a really wierd problem. My phone worked like a charm until now, because it hardly a year old device. One day last week, i just woke up to the phone vibrating, because sounds stopped working, and then other things followed. Music just skips with "cant play this song", System sounds dont work at all, as for other types of sounds. What i think it isnt are the speakers, because at least headphones would work, but they dont. Voice recorder wont do anything, as well as screen recorder. I tried restarting the phone, turning volume low/high, do not disturb, silent mode, bluetooth. None of it did anything. I am really desperate and dont know how to fix it. When i look on the internet, i cant find anything similiar to my problem.

Hey guys, I’ve already searched through a lot and tried plenty of things but I just can’t fix my PC issues. The problem: · Playing any kind of game (no matter the graphical intensity) for about an hour my PC will reboot. No blue screen just a simple restart. Motherboard error code – VGA. · After the reboot at times booting back into Windows is not possible. Get to Windows log in screen and without even touching anything it will reboot the same way. This will continue until I force shutdown with power button while it is still trying to reboot. Can log in after turning PC back on. · Starting any kind of game after it first reboots will immediately cause the same issues. · Letting the PC remain off for about 10 minutes will let it not fail for the around 10 minutes again. But without fail it will always start rebooting. · From this it seems like there is a power/graphics card issue. Ran stress tests letting both the CPU and GPU heat up and no crashes – temps were fine. Unless the stress test goes on for about an hour it will not crash/reboot. · Only program that seemingly always recreates the issue is Unigine Heaven. This acts in two ways: o Complete 1 full run without fail. Start another run and it reboots towards the end of the test. o Just barely starting a run and PC reboots. Boot back into windows start program again and instant reboot without even starting the benchmark. · These issues also happen when browsing for about an hour. I use Google Chrome. No other resource heavy programs are running. After rebooting it will reboot again after just opening Chrome (not instantly – 1-2 minutes after) · No issues will happen when I watch TV shows or Movies for hours/full day using Plex launcher on this PC. · Even after having first reboot and PC ready to crash again after just launching a game or Chrome. Nothing will happen if I just stay on my desktop screen without launching any extra programs. Tested for about 30 minutes and no reboots – launch Chrome/game/benchmark and instant reboot. What I tried so far and did not help: · Reinstalled windows – was on an old Windows 10 version. Reinstalled to newest and updated. · Newest drivers. · Reseated GPU. · Reseated BIOS battery. In conclusion, PC will reboot after having a game/chrome/benchmark run for about an hour (always seems like the same amount of time) and needs about an hour of being off before I can use it again for the same amount of time. Does not apply when just logged in to desktop and using Plex HTPC app to watch TV shows/Movies for the whole day. Anyone know what might be causing the issues? Right now this PC is just a Plex machine (HDMI connected to my TV) and a light browsing for up to an hour. PC specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 – stock cooler and no overclock. Mobo: MSI B350 PC MATE RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB DDDR4 3000 MHz GPU: Zotac Mni GTX 1060 6GB – no overclock PSU: EVGA G3 650 W +80 Gold Storage: 500GB Crucial MX300 525GB – OS drive Western Digital WD5000AAKX 500GB drive – random storage 2x Seagate ST8000DM004 8TB drives – Plex media Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 21H2

EDIT APRIL 5TH 2022: So, last week, I've decided to disassemble my entire setup, disconnecting all cables and even re-installing my CPU. I did that, and left my pc without the backside panel, as I thought the cleaning would be in vain and I would have to reinstall a new PSU soon. Somehow it's been almost 5 days without any reboots. I don't know what happened, but the old and reliable re-assembly seems to have fixed it. I'll keep you posted if the PC reboots again. One of my main theories is that some kind of short circuit was produced by the SATA cables on the back touching the back of the motherboard accidentally when the backside pannel was on. Other theories include: - PSU reheating due to dust on its fan. - Some cable that got a bad connection? - Dust in some connection making problems? -------------------------------------- System CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 GPU: Asus Strix GTX 1080 (ROG-STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING) RAM: VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DRAM DDR4 2400mhz Corsair Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 BIOS: F52e PSU: Thermaltake Smart 650w 80 Plus Bronze (SP-650P) SSD: WD Green SATA SSD M.2 240GB (Good - 57% health reported by CrystalDisk) (Here is Windows installed) SSD: KINGSTON SATA SSD 480gb (Good - 100% health reported by CrystalDisk) HDD: WD Blue 1TB 7200rpm (Good - reported by CrystalDisk) HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm (Good - reported by CrystalDisk) OS: WINDOWS 10 x64 - build 19044 Others: Gaming Keyboard, Innalambric mouse, Presonus Audio interface, xbox controllers, several usb, etc. Note: The oldest component is the PSU, with 7 years of using. ---- Hello, lovely community, I hope you are doing great. As the title mentions, a few months ago my pc started rebooting randomly, without warnings or error messages. It doesn't shutdown, It happens mostly when doing not demanding activities like working on Excel, listening to Spotify or just watching some Youtube videos. I think it happened once while gaming, but I'm not so sure. What did I try: Changing both Memory sticks to the other 2 slots Reinstalling Windows Updating Windows, BIOS, Drivers, etc Disconnecting the reboot button on the chassis Disconnecting the last SSD I bought (the Kingston one) Checking temps, they are more than fine. I don't know what else to try, and I wanted to know if there was anything else to do before going and buy a new PSU. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

hi my pc is crashing randomly with different bsod codes every time can you guys tell me which component is causing those issue it is a hardware issue because i have tried everything on internet ( memtest86, gpu benchmark for hours, cpu benchmarks etc, updating bios, fresh install etc ) you guys can exclude ram because it is highly unlikely both of my rams gone bad my system is also having this weird issue where it freezes when i try to weight paint in blender guru 3.0 daunt tutorial video below system config os windows 10 pro 64 cpu r5 3600 gpu rtx 2060 ram gskill ripjaws 16gb 8*2 psu antech 650 watt mobo msi b450 pro vdh max ssd crucial bx 240 gb hdd wd blue 1tb samsung 144hz curved gaming monitor the dump files are below thanks 1032558605_Desktop2022_03.22-19_17_23_02.mp4 031322-5953-01.dmp 031322-6796-01.dmp 031322-7000-01.dmp 031322-20296-01.dmp 032222-17515-01.dmp

I have a mid-range gaming PC, It started to crash randomly after a while of use, the fans still spin but the screen goes black. Then I started to see a pattern, it crashes when playing games (most of the time) and, let's say I play games on it for an hour and it crashes.... The next time I turn it on it will work for an extra hour or two, then it will crash (or don't, It's random, but mostly yes). And the biggest issue I have is that sometimes (once in a week or so...) it just won't boot up, the lights still turn on, the fans spin but the screen will remain black and the input devices won't work (i know because the keyboard lights don't work in this state) and it will stay like this for an hour or two, maybe even 2-3 days or sometimes even weeks! After which it eventually decides to boot. It not only does this after crashing, but even after i shut it down properly, the next time it may or may not boot. I have tried plugging it on a wall as well. My gpu power cables were initially 6 pin to 8 pin adapters, so i thought this might be the issue... But it still did not work even after i bought the proper cables. Please help! These are the hardware specifications: intel core i7 3770k 16 gb ddr3 RAM AMD r9 280x 3gb 256 gb SSD (Windows 10 installed on it) 1 tb HDD

Hi everybody! I have problem with my PC, and I can’t determine why that is happening. Sometime, not every time, when I’m playing RS6 siege and Quake Champions (everything maxed out), my PC turns off and then turns on itself. I tried troubleshooting it, but I still don’t know why that’s happening. I think that maybe power supply is too weak, or motherboard is potato. This is my specification: CPU: i9 10900F GPU: Nvidia RTX 3090 RAM: KINGSTON HyperX FURY RGB 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Motherboard: Asus PRIME B460M-K PSU: ROG-STRIX-750G 750W Case: Fractal Torrent with ARGB fans AIO: Corsair iCUE H170i ELITE LCD Display (I’m using push pull, so I have in total 7x140mm vents and 2x180mm) Regarding the processor, I changed some settings in BIOS so now it can draw 220w of power instead of 65W. Prior RTX 3090 I had RTX 3070 with same processor and settings I didn’t have any problems with PC shutting down. For RAM, XMP is enabled. I tried running FurMark on couple of maximum resolutions, and I was running it for 1hr, with temps of 68C and nothing happen. I tried running CPU stress test (HeavyLoad app) and I was running it for 1hr with CPU temps around 58C, and nothing happened. But as soon as I run one test (for example CPU), same millisecond I click to run graphic test (and reverse) PC turns off. I placed video in attachment of that. Thank you for help in advance! Hey everyone, I am having very sudden freezes and then the entire PC will restart after about 5 seconds of it being frozen. It doesn't give an error message or anything, it will simply go black screen and the entire system will restart. It happens mostly while gaming, but I had it happen one time today after a reboot and no loads were present. I have a NZXT H1 Mini case (V1). The crashes are also becoming more frequent. I had my first one last week, and about once a day until now. Today, it has crashed about 6 times already. I am assuming it is a PSU issue however, I also noticed that while gaming, my GPU was under 95-99% load, but only 65-70 Celsius. To troubleshoot it, I took apart the case and played with it open, and it lasted about 10 minutes before the crash. When it did crash, I saw a yellow/orange light on the mobo, and then it went off, and a red light came on, until it restarted. If it is the PSU, I'm not sure how to really go about replacing it since I believe it is a NZXT proprietary cable and it came with the NZXT H1 case, pre-installed. System Specs: Operating System: Windows 64-Bit, V: 22H2 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super, Driver Version: 526.98 Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X570-I, BIOS Version: 1407 CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor Ram: 2x16gb Corsair Ram DDR4 Storage: ADATA 2TB SSD PSU: Came pre-installed with the NZXT H1 V1 case, I believe it is 650W SFX-L (according to their website). Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have been wanting to have a smart card sign in for my personal PC. I have been trying get this to work via a VM using Hyper-V but I can not get it work. I have the Domain controller created and have a CA. I just can not get my personal PC to connect to the Domain. I have been working on this random project on and off for about 4 months. I have tried looking into a Linux alternative but can not find one. If anyone knows how to get this project working or have a Linux alternative I can use would be great. Any help would be amazing.

PC is seemingly randomly shutting down without a BSOD. Shutdowns happen at all hours of the day and during any kind of activity, even idle or browsing the web. PC does not restart automatically. Shutdowns appear to come in waves where the issue might be gone for weeks and then suddenly shows up every few hours all of the sudden. Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64bit Mainboard: ASUS H87M-E (Version 0904, 2201 is latest) CPU: i7-4770(non K) (with stock cooler) RAM: Some Kingston 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz GPU: GTX 1050 SSD: Crucial MX500 256GB (kinda new) PSU: MSI MAG A550BN (550W, new) + ancient 500GB HDD Apart from Event ID 41 there is not a lot in the event viewer. Already swapped out the PSU and the problem persists. No error message given, no unusual sound, event ID 41 in Event viewer. Additional info that might be of use: - Shutdowns started happening after moving into new location(!) - After a shutdown the PC might crash immediately after starting, could point to overheating but idk which part - Like written above the BIOS isn't updated to the newest version however it had always worked before and I'd rather try other options first if possible Things I tried from the top of my head: - Termpatures of CPU are okay, but also reapplied thermal paste (a few times) just in case - CPU Cooler is properly seated - Reset BIOS settings - PSU swapped and cables seem to be fully inserted - Reinstalled GPU drivers with DDU - Tried connect PC to a different power outlet - Checked disk integrity for windows users What do you guys think could be the issue and what are the next steps that I could possibly take? After already spending some money on a power supply that apparently wasn't the root of the problem, I'd prefer going for cost-efficient methods that don't require me to buy new parts to single out the faulty component. Since the problem isn't easily reproducible it might be hard to debug but I will try to supply you with any logs/information you might need. Thank you for your help.
