Hi all, i kinda need help to find a budget PC for gaming+streaming, video editing, and some project programming for web design and mobile app. The games that i play and stream is Dota2, Apex Legend, Pubg, The witcher 3,Monster Hunter: World, and other RPG game for mid quality setting. For editing video after streaming and post it on social platform. I would also gonna do some programming for web design and app design. To be honest I am really kinda new to all this PC hardware because before this i've been to cyber cafe/internet cafe to do all my stuff, and now because of this "pandemic" i really do need to buy a PC. Thank You, Best Regards.

Hi, so I'm only 14 but I want to become an Ethical Hacker, or work for the CIA in Intelligence. I know just a little bit about coding, but I was wondering if any of the people here who are older than me, and have more experience in this field than me, have any tips. Thanks.

Hey, so I currently have a K70 for my PC, while it’s a great keyboard and I don’t plan on giving it up. I have found the keys to be a bit too separated when it comes to trying to write code on it. I was wondering if people hand any recommendations for cheaper smaller keyboards that would be helpful. Preferably the main thing would be having keys that are coming closer together. I have far less issues when programming on my laptops keyboard compared to my k70 on my PC. I’d be open to looking at all suggestions.

programming Thinking about a app for linis tech tips forums

I was thinking if I could possible make an app for linis tech tips forums on mobile with a good ui and make it free and open-source without ads? Like a 4 chan viewer on the play store. And if so how hard would it be -
Hi, I need a little help looking for a cheap programming laptop with the following requirements. 1. It needs to be something light. I want something that I could take on the go without carrying a brick. 2. As it says above, it needs to be "cheaper". I'm looking for something around $300 to $400 range, anything a littler bit more or cheaper is accepted. 3. With regards to cpu and gpu power, I am in no need of a dedicated gpu. The processor, I would prefer a quad core, but a dual core will suffice. Clock speed should be 2.0 Ghz or above. 4. When it comes to ram I'm not planning on doing any android development on it, so there doesn't need to be a lot. 4 gb will suffice, 8 is preffered, 16 would be great. I know it seems kind of weird to ask people on a forum for this kind of thing instead of just doing some research myself, but who knows. Someone could read this and know of a laptop off of the top of there head. Thanks

So, I am making the switch from Windows to macOS. I have some experience with using VS Code in a windows environment but because I am making the switch, I was curious if using the native Xcode would maybe result in better performance. Anyone have any opinions of one over the other? I know that choosing an editor/IDE to work with depends on the individual's requirements but I would like to consider the idea of just overall use in general settings.

Budget (including currency): 1000 USD (4500 RON) (could go slightly higher) Country: Romania Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and software development Other details: did a preliminary part list, would greatly appreciate some help fine tuning it. I also had 2 questions that could affect this list 1. would an RX 5700 be a worthwhile upgrade from a 2060? (or maybe even the XT) 2. would waiting for Zen 3 and the new line-up make sense or no? Also, this list comes up below 1000$, but parts in my area are more expensive so this list would cost me around 1000$ on the dot. Thanks for all the help in advance.

I'm trying to help a friend find her next laptop with a budget of around 1k USD, that will be used for mainly programming, but I need some help. She's requiring it to have a glass screen and it cannot be a macbook. Max screen size of 15. She doesn't play games often, maybe some light games but definitely no triple A games. If possible, decent IO is preferred: dongles are not a favorite. And it needs to have enough storage to dual boot windows and Linux. Any help with the search is greatly appreciated. If I missed any info that could help narrow it down just ask

Hi all - First time post & first time PC build. I have been a MacBook user in my personal life for 8 years, and use a PC for development at work. I am building a PC as my existing MacBook cannot support 4 screens, and its performance for machine learning is lackluster relative to what I am looking for. PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor ($432.41 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard ($189.99 @ Best Buy) Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($164.99 @ Best Buy) Storage: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($149.97 @ Amazon) Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB GAMING X TRIO Video Card ($818.00 @ Amazon) Case: Cooler Master MasterCase H500M ATX Mid Tower Case ($239.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair RMx (2018) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($155.98 @ Newegg) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit ($139.99 @ Other World Computing) External Storage: Seagate Expansion 8 TB External Hard Drive ($131.99 @ Adorama) Total: $2423.31 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-05-01 01:14 EDT-0400 1. Budget & location $2600 United States. 2. Aim. I have two requirements: A. PC should be able to support 4 monitors for day trading. B. PC should support Machine learning workload. 3. Monitors. I do have the 4 27-inch monitors, and they have HDMI & DVI ports. ASUS VE278 with 1920×1080 resolution. I would like a recommendation for a 4-arm stand if someone has one. 4. Peripherals: I plan on using 64 bit Windows 10 Pro. Is there any other recommended software to buy on a new PC (e.g. for virus protection?) Already have mouse & keyboard. The biggest cost choices came down to CPU, GPU, and motherboard. While I originally was leaning with the Ryzen 3700X, I had extra budget and decided to go with 3900X since the 3800X seems like a little improvement. CPU for Machine Learning helps with some of the pre-processing of data prior to training, so I do see incremental value here. I decided to go with the Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard as it will pair with my Ryzen 3900X and seems to have good reviews overall. Have had good experience with ASUS before. I have been torn between the 2080 Super vs 2080 Ti. I decided to go with the 2080 Super because for machine learning purposes, I would like to see some return on investment in regards to the work I expect to do on the machine. If I see the return on investment in my Machine Learning work, I may just spend more at a later time & get a second GPU to support my workload. One area that is particularly confusing for me is cases. I do care about the double-tempered glass with RGB light aesthetic, but with so many options and lots of variance in reviews, its hard to understand who delivers quality here. Some of the brands that seem good are Corsair, ThermalTake, and Cooler Master. Any recommendations here? The $240 for the case does seem pricey, but I think it should have good air flow. Welcome any feedback, thank you so much. This is a large investment for me.

Hello guys, I am in a bit of a dilemma and I would like to listen to some of your opinions. I am looking for a keyboard for office work and specifically programming. I have come down to two choices: the Logitech K800 (https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/wireless-illuminated-keyboard-k800) and the Logitech MK850 (https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mk850-wireless-keyboard-mouse-combo). The way I see it is: K800: + lighting keyboard + nice typing feel + elegant - no mouse included - need charging with micro-usb - no wrist cushion MK850: + accompanied by a nice mouse + wrist cushion + multi-device connection - squishy buttons are mentioned a lot - no backlight Do any of you have real experience with the fore-mentioned keyboards? Thanks!!

So I could not think of a good forum to ask this on so I will just use my favorite tech forum and see if anybody knows. So here is the deal, when I go to bed I usually need my fan on high but about half way thru the night I wake up because I am too cold and turn it down to medium and then I am happyramid for a few more hours. Then about an hour before I need to get up I get cold again and turn it off. So what I want is a fan that, for example, at 9 pm it turns on and is set to high and then turns down to medium around midnight and turns off around 6:30am. If anybody knows of a product that can do this I would greatly appreciate it if you could share it. If there turns out to be no previous product maybe there is a way to do it with an arduino or a raspberry pi or something like that. Again if you know of a way to do it that way please share.

so i want to make a object of a class in another class but outside a method.i will be initializing the returned value to a int variable called s and it will be used inside a method called timer1_Tick for doing some calculations.when i tried this i get a error saying: A field initializer cannot reference the non-static field, method, or property.'h' in the second line is underlined in red. what could be the problem.is it possible to make object of classes outside methods like this? note: i dont want to make this object inside the timer1_tick method because the value of the variable doesnt work the way i want when i do it that way.when i set the value of s manually to a certain number outside the timer1_tick method it works.so i want to initialize the value i get from the other class to to the variable s but it must be outside the method timer tick.if theres any other way to do it please let me know.thanks Home h = new Home(); int s = h.convert(); private void timer1_Tick(object sender, EventArgs e) { }

I've been trying to get an SQL trigger to work. It is supposed to throw an exception if a tanning bed fee is lower or higher than the requested range by the tanning bed. Upon inserting or modifying the fee in the RESERVATIONS table, I get an error saying that RESERVATIONS is mutating, trigger/function may not see it at line 6. Here's my code: create or replace trigger TriggerCost BEFORE UPDATE OR INSERT on RESERVATIONS for each row DECLARE var_MinimumFee NUMBER; var_MaximumFee NUMBER; var_Fee NUMBER; BEGIN SELECT MINFEE, MAXFEE, FEE INTO var_MinimumFee, var_MaximumFee, var_Fee FROM MODELS INNER JOIN RESERVATIONS ON MODELS.MINFEE = RESERVATIONS.FEE AND MODELS.MAXFEE = RESERVATIONS.FEE; IF :new.FEE NOT BETWEEN var_MinimumFee AND var_MaximumFee THEN RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20000, 'Input fee is outside of the allowed range.'); END IF; END TriggerCost; What could be causing the mutation?
