Ignore this post if it is already addressed but, essentially a separate slim case for all of the screwdrivers other bits to be held while not in use? or actively in the screwdrivers handle? I bought the screwdriver and I want to purchase all the other bits you guys have, but I don't want to have all the loose bits floating around ya know?

Catching up on the WAN show, I figured a good name for your pouch could be the Canuck Computer Container. I figure the tech sack will probably go over better though. Just make it unique call it a Texak. Then again could be a Linus Loot Locker. Alliteration is fun ya know.

I will be building a new computer in the coming week and I'm looking for a solution to a hard drive problem. I want to use the same 3 drives I have in this system in my new one. The only one that I'm confused about is the OS drive. I have already read the how-to on Groovypost where they say to "format the computer - this method ensures the product key is no longer in use on the computer." Does this mean that if I use the "reset this PC" function I can then just pop the drive into the new computer and input the product key to make sure its registered? Im just trying to make sure I dont get screwed by Microsoft's weird licensing rules. Any help is appreciated!

I went through every single product and its size and color and added it to the cart excluding the sold out products. It took me about 1 hour and 45 minutes, because every time you click add to cart it redirects you to the cart so I have to use the back arrow and do that every singe time for every single size. Any way here are the pictures, it took two screen captures to fit it all.

I feel like a nice little flashlight would be something that LTT could do really well. There's lots of different flashlights with magnets and stuff but none of them work really great for PC building. I also think the features that would make it good for building PCs would also make it really nice for other things. Might be one of those things like screwdriver or backpack that could take a long time but I think it could be definitely worth it. Ideal solution would have the following things Bright LED cob light with wide beam that has many different dimming settings Strong magnet covered in rubber to avoid scratching painted parts (maybe also possible sticky pad?) LED is attached to a multi-articulating and rotating arm for maneuverability (Not the snaky style articulation) USB-C Rechargeable LTT quality touch Possible extra things? Little tray that uses the strong mounting magnet to also hold screws Magnet removeable just in case you're dealing with HDDs Optional suction mount Folds up small

Since every week we see more bad things from big brands, may it be anti-repair things, privacy violation, replace components during production, etc. Why not make a website/database where people can list all the bad things a brand has done? (with a good source, ofc). Good things would also be listed. For me, when shopping things that are all basically the same, the brand becomes an important factor: "Do they actually care about customers?" "Are they using slave labour?" "Has a sister company done something bad?". A ranking/list would help a lot to choose. I don't know if I can get my idea through. It can be just a list, a wikipedia-like website or a website that looks like a shopping platform but when you filter by "Vacuum Cleaners", only the brands with their profile show up.

Is there a stereo wireless close eared gaming headset out there?

Hey hope your all having a great day! So I'm building my first PC and my final step is trying to find a windows product key but I really don't want to pay the full 120$ for home. Windows 8.1 or 10 are the only ones that I want. Can anyone tell me a website where I can buy a product key for a good price from a reputable seller?

Here is a collection of random information that I have needed at some point and had trouble finding on the internet, or had few sources, so I will write them here in hopes of helping people who search google with the same questions. If you have your own random knowledge that you want people to find more easily, add it on 1) Q: What is the distance between fittings on EK waterblocks? How far apart are the ports on both the CPU or GPU blocks? A: 29mm center to center distance, and yes bitspower 3/4" tubing compression fittings will fit beside eachother because they are 28mm diameter. Source: EK support 2) Q: Does the UPS load wattage show the total of everything plugged into it? A: No, only the battery backup plugs are calculated, the surge protected plugs are not factored in to the power consumption. Source: Cyberpower UPS support 3) Q: Does AR coating on lenses change their refraction properties or specs (like focal length or other stuff)? A: No, it only affects reflection, refraction stays the same regardless of coating. Source: Edmund Optics support 4) Q: How much does anodizing cost? A: Minimum payment is usually $100, even if it's just a low quantity or small piece. At the place near me, it was still only $100 for ~6sq ft. Hard anodized coating is a bit more expensive, about $150 for ~6 sq ft of aluminum. Just email and ask for a quick quote. You aren't committing to buying anything by asking for a quote. Source: Altech Anodizing 5) Q: How long do batteries last in a double conversion UPS? A: Even though they are constantly charging and discharging, they should still last 3-5 years before needing replacement. Cyberpower has warranty on their batteries for 3 years if they need replacement before then. Source: Cyberpower UPS support 6) AMD Vega 64 GPU black screen blinking off and on problem: Solved by changing from YCbCr 4:4:4 to YCbCr 4:2:2, probably a problem with the samsung TV not liking 4:4:4 7) Solidworks 2019/2020 Realview graphics workaround: Use DWORD value 30008 for GTX770 in 'NV40' folder, and DWORD 32408 value for Vega 64 in 'R420' folder I'll keep on adding more as time goes on.

Hi everyone, I'd like to build or buy a web server to host my business website (5 pages). I know GoDaddy and things like that aren't that expensive, but I thought it would still be cool to do. I've never messed with building a web server before. Any good tips or resources you recommend? I imagine some sort of small form factor (and quiet build) that I can let run 24/7 in my basement. I am also probably going to use the free version of Cloudflare to provide a cached version of my website to users if the server ever goes down. Any thoughts? Thanks. Also, it would be a dedicated web server. Nothing else on it.

Hi guys, I want to fully format my 2nd hand Dell G7 laptop, including deleting all the partition. The only concern I have is my Windows 10 license. I am unsure whether this will affect my Windows 10 license as a friend of mine told me that upon reformatting, I can delete all the partition except for the System Reserved as this partition holds the activation key for my OS license. I want to know if this is true or not? And if I delete all the partition, what are the possible scenarios that I may experience with the Windows 10 license? Will it be activated again? I've read on some threads that I can link my Microsoft Account to my OS license, but I want to use local login on my laptop and not MS account. I am fully aware that upon deleting all partition, Dell factory image and support will also be deleted. I have attached some images of the activation settings and the partitions on my laptop. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Hi, I have in my apartment an HG8245H, which is a fiber modem with integrated wifi. Today in the pandemic, with so many people near my apartment using their devices, I realized that with the wifi analyzer(app), I saw that there is a lot of interference and I think it's a big problem for me, but that's not all, because my room is on the opposite side of the apartment. The wifi signal is very weak, probably because of the only two 2 dBi antennas of the modem as I was searching for a dedicated router I found the model RT-AC59U from ASUS Because I dont have much knolege in internet hardware i was hoping that some of you guys could tell me if it is a good choice or there's a better one in the price range of the asus? thx for the time

Hey Guys, So I would like to do a clean installation of Windows 10 Pro on my laptop MSI GE63 8RF-099ca The things I did was use Windows Media Creation Tool. But the problem is during install the screen where we put the product key just don't appear. It just install the Windows 10 Home that I have on my laptop. Is it because my laptop already had the Windows 10 Home OEM embedded on the motherboard memory? Also I have a Volume License Key, bought from some site. Is it possible to get a consumer key (RETAIL KEY)?

I recently upgraded my PC's storage from no SSD to one. however, i forgot my windows product key and i also probably lost it because i'm a slob. I don't really want to buy a new product code, and that Activate Windows watermark is becoming an eyesore. Can anybody tell me Windows will send your old product key to you? thanks. EDIT: I failed to mention that my PC is custom-built, so anything on my motherboard is not "tied" to my motherboard

Prefix: I ended up buying synergy after seeing its ad from LMG. So I purchased pro, "Lifetime access to Synergy Pro" The software was buggy, crashed frequently, and the features didn't always work. That said at least they were updating it. Problem: Instead of giving updates to the user that invested in what was essentially beta software they Renamed the software I purchased as "Synergy Pro 1" and are forcing users to pay the full price again to upgrade and get "Lifetime access to Synergy Pro 2". Why this is an issue: I purchased this product so that I could help early development and eventually get the finished product. Its like I paid for development and didnt get the final product. It is the same product in every way (just more polished). I feel cheated and honestly, knowing that this is how they will continue development of this product I highly recommend you avoid the product until they finish it. I honestly wish LMG would stop advertising it. Finally even if you paid for Synergy pro, There is no discount on the update (that you already paid for)

I’m not an audiophile and I have my eyes on the Razer Kraken TE v2 headphones. The reason why it’s special is because it gives a usb dongle with 3D spacial awareness and is approved by THX. So I know my stuff, but there’s one problem. If I just by a regular v2 and buy cooling pads and that usb dongle separately, won’t that just be the TE edition? Is there any changes besides those? Love to hear from those who have both

I have been working with Slice as a part of Camp BizSmart, to create an improved safety knife. Now after a lot of thinking and trying to develop a product, I realize that I cannot develop a safety knife without customer surveys. I have been posting and active on this forum and I was wondering if you guys would be willing to give me customer input. The knife is a safety knife, that has a ceramic blade so it is sharper than metal but it will not cut into skin as easily. The company Slice makes these safety knives and we have drawn inspiration from them. Here is the link of the survey and it would be much appreciated if you would take time out of your day to complete the survey. The link is: https://goo.gl/forms/xlbOlhGXZvrNYLxi1

Hello! I have this old PC and its HDD failed. I have the Product Key for it, but it needs Windows Vista Home Basic. I was able to find this download for Home Premium, but the product key wouldn't work for it because it wasn't basic. And I can't find an Install Media for it. I also have this old Windows 7 Compaq laptop that died. I also have the key for it. But when I go on Microsoft's website to download the ISO, it tells me to enter my Product Key. I did this, and it said it was for HP software or something like that and it wouldn't give me the ISO. Help? Thanks
