Hey guys, so recently i noticed some issues with uplay and steam where my steam/uplay looks way tinier as it should be (watch pictures below). Also, whenever I get into the in-game thing (shift+f2 for uplay shift+tab for steam) and i check mymain menu (idk how it is called in english)my files move. I have no clue how to fix it (not really been searching a lot but i am pretty busy). Is there anyone that can help me ?

System Specs: CPU: i3 6100 GPU: RX 480 MoBo: ASUS Z170-P PSU: Corsair VS450 RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX (single stick to allow future upgrade) SSD: Kingston SSDNow UV400 120GB Case: Thermaltake Versa H24 Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit I have plans of putting a 2TB storage drive in there later on this month. Anyway, I tried to record gameplay using Dxtory and I noticed that after a few seconds the video would cut down to about 8fps considering i had the recording limit set to 30. This was strange because I was still getting about 250fps in game so this was odd. Long story short, I benchmarked the SSD using CDMark and also the inbuilt benchmarking service in Dxtory. Both showed a similar issue. The SSD would run at about 400MB/s for about 5 seconds. It would then sharply decrease as time goes on. Looking at Task Manager while this was going on, I noticed that the slow down started the second that the SSD hit 100% load. This sharply cut my speeds and I believe this is the reason why I have had issues with recording. I currently have about 30GB free storage left on the SSD (as I said, storage drive coming soon) but I didn't expect the SSD to shit itself every time it gets under load. What are my options? Can I fix this? Cheers for any help and I have included screenshots of my benchmarks below. Screenshot 1 shows the result from the CDMark benchmark. Screenshot 2 shows a 1gb benchmark. I have noticed that in the time that it takes for this benchmark to finish, the SSD does not reach 100% load. Screenshot 3 shows the loads observed during the benchmark shown in capture 4 which is a 3gb benchmark. Notice how the disk is at 99% load yet is only running at 60MB/s Screenshot 4 shows the result from the 3gb benchmark

I even went onto where i tried to download it and right clicked on it went to properties and went into the security tab and even there it says that I am the administrator. I have only 1 user account on my PC and I am about to pull my hair because I have been online for hours looking how to fix this problem

Hey guys, So I just received my new monitor (AOC G2460PF) which is a 1080p/144hz model. Of course I set it up right away, including the driver installation as instructed (letting windows search for the driver on the included driver CD) So far so good, now I could set the monitor 144hz, which I did right away. The result was an abomination... The whole display is now displaying everything in red and the image isn't pretty at all, distorted, doesn't look like 1080p anymore. Picture included, of course but it looks way worse than that in real life. The 144hz aspect does indeed work, but it isn't usable at this point. I am using the latest version of Windows 10, my GPU is the Gigabyte HD7970 which the display is connected to via DVI. I would only have the option to use mini-DP as the GPU doesn't support standard DP. What can I do? EDIT: I have now also completely wiped the display driver and installed a new one -> nothing changed Same problem occurs when only using the AOC monitor (I have read in another forum that may have been the problem because some GPUs don't support multiple different refresh rates) -> also didn't do anything What's weird aswell is that Freesync is shown to not be supported by Radeon Settings, although it should be. Thanks in advance, ~RundesDreieck

Hello Comunity, I bought an Asus Strix Rx480 8gb recently and put it into my new build budget system. Specs: After setting the system up i'm starting to overclock the system and got after some days running stable overclocks a wired issue with "Asus Gpu Tweak II" (latest Version / already tested second last version too) When I setup my overclock and press apply in the programm the settings move down to an underclock automaticly. Even if I try to load the setting for the "Factory Overclock" at 1310mhz its sets GPU clock and Memory clock down to an underclock. I was able to fix that problem for a day after reinstalling the latest AMD Radeon version ( 17.10.3 ) but after a restart of the System i got the same underclock problem and heavy issues in Games with missing textures and crashes. So i went back to version (17.7.2) where games run stable but the over- underclock problem still hurts performance with these automatic underclock. BTW: The bugged clock is even lower than economy settings from GPU Tweak II. I know my 500Watt PSU is a bit weak for an Overclocked Ryzen 5 1600 and Overclocked rx-480 but i keep the overclock low at the moment. Yesterday I tested GPU and CPU with benchmarks ( Prime95 and 3dmark) and they run stable for 2.5 hours. Just when I run both at once I got a crash. So maybe the PSU its already a problem? To my knowlegde that can't resolve in an auto underclock when apply an overclock, normaly i should simply crash when asked for too much power. Is there anyone who can help me with these problem? Would be nice to get some input of others. Best regarts Jan K. I'm sorry for misspelling and gramaticall mistakes.

I did the User Benchmark test to see how my system was running and I got these results. UserBenchmarks: Game 37%, Desk 58%, Work 40% CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 - 65.9% GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti - 34.7% SSD: Drevo X1 SSD 60GB - 39.6% HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (2016) - 100.2% RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2x4GB - 38.4% MBD: Gigabyte GA-AB350M-D3H-CF My graphics card has 34% below average and this is worrying. Is there any way that I can make it run as it was supposed to. Also, do you think that I should upgrade my RAM and SSD. Thanks

hi, my computer has been crashing whilst playing games eg: 'war thunder' for the past day or so. neither me nor my friend can work this out and its really bugging me that i cant play games anymore without my computer crashing and shutting down. Has anyone got any ideas about what it could be and before anyone asks, yes i have pushed all the wires in correctly. My thermaltake versa h15 case has only the blue LED on where there is usually a flashing red LED also. Thanks for any assistance.

Hi all, I have an old acer laptop that has an intel pentium M @ 1.73GHz, ATI mobility radeon X700 with 64MB of VRAM, 80GB HDD and 1GB of DDR 2 ram. Whenever I turn it on, the screen is black and the fan stops running after about 5 seconds. The indicator light on the power button glows green and then nothing else happens after that. I am thinking about using it as a secondary machine for storing files and light web browsing. I have left the laptop on charge for about 3 hours, and it still wont work. Your help is much appreciated. Does anyone know what is wrong with my laptop. Thanks for your help!

Okay so this is a really weird occurrence that I've never seen before. On my Xbox one I turn it on, pair my controller and it connects fine. So I go to sign in to my profile and the A button isn't responding. So the first thing you might think is that my controller is broken and I need a new one. However the Xbox has a little feedback on the screen when you press the button that lets you know you've pressed it and that it registered. So it gives me the feedback and doesn't do anything. So I switch to my other controller, same thing happens. I can't click on games, profiles, apps, anything. I've "Hard reseted" my Xbox 2 times and it hasn't resolved the issue. What should I do? I would go and see if my controller needs in update but I can't without that A button working.... any ideas?

Hi So I recently got my hands on this old HP workstation with an Intel Xeon W3520 and I decided to try and make a decent gaming rig out of it. So I originally just planned to switch out the quadro fx1800 because it wasn´t very good, having only 64 Cuda Cores. I had a GTX 960 from msi which I figured I´d put in the PC, but the PSU only had a 6 pin pcie power connector and I needed a 8 pin. So I used a 2 x Molex > 8 pin pcie adapter just to get it up and running, cause I didn´t have a spare PSU that I could use instead. It worked perfectly, I just had to download some new drivers to the GTX 960. Because I didn´t want to run the GPU on a molex adapter (felt kinda sketchy to do that) I went out and got a decently cheap EVGA 500W PSU. But after I connected everything in the PC to the new PSU it wouldn´t get past POST. I plugged everything out and in again to make sure everything was connected properly, still didn´t work. So I tried the old PSU, it worked. Then I decided to take out my Corsair PSU from my main rig and try that one. It didn´t get past POST either And this is where I´m at today. So I´m wondering if anyone knows what the issue could be? Maybe compatability issues? But is that really a thing with PSUs, when all they do is deliver power to the other components? It´d be great if anyone wanted to try figuring this out and explain it to me

Windows 10 session on the citrix receiver app wont open
Guest posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Hi all, I have been having problems with opening the windows 10 session within my account on the citrix receiver app. Basically, you click on the session, it keeps loading and loading, then eventually, it wont start. This is a school based app on a server to clarify. I contacted the ICT department at the school, and we checked in the dialog to see all of the current windows 10 sessions currently being connected to, and mt account was reporting that the windows 10 session was open and active when on my computer it was loading and wouldnt open. We have tried restarting my account, but that didnt solve the issue and we also check the uknown connections to the windows 10 session in the dialog and my accounts windows 10 session wasnt showing up there either, the ICT department and me dont know what the issue is, so any input is much appreciated to try to solve this issue!- 1 reply

hello all, I'm new to the forum, finally joined because hopefully someone can help. My USB's cut out randomly on my PC. Everything plugged in switches off that's plugged in then come back on about 5 seconds later. this becomes very annoying when playing a game or recording a video. I have a ASUS® RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1: E-ATX, HSW-E CPU, USB 3.0, SATA 6 GB/s motherboard and alot of things plugged in to the USB's. is there a way to tell what/why it is doing this? whether the motherboard cant handle pushing the power to the devices. thanks for any help. Until today, when I turned it on it started, then turned off, started, turned off then worked perfectly. Then I went away from my computer so I turned off my computer. Hello community! Recently I bought a new Lenovo Legion Y720. He was running slow even from the start, but after tweaking some settings I managed it to run smooth and nice. What I encountered was the CPU temps. The GPU temps are maximum 71C in full load, which is ok. But the CPU hit even 92C which is too much. I think it's a wrong thermal paste appliance or poor quality since everyone else is getting 82C with a stress test or while gaming at ultra settings any game. I undervolted the CPU and even disabled turbo boost to make it run cooler. Now it stays under 72C but after I turn on again TB, it jumps to 82C instantly. Should I ask for a replacement or maybe reapply thermal paste with a new one? Thinking at an Arctic MX-4 and maybe it will stay nice and cool. Thanks in advance! PS: Specs are: CPU: Intel Core I7 7700HQ @ 2.80Ghz with turbo to 3.8Ghz GPU: GTX 1060 6Gb RAM: Samsung 8Gb HDD: WDC 1TB Display: 1920X1080 LG Ips Panel Dual fan cooling included.
