I am looking for a good home photo printer for casual use. This is just for creating photo albums, so nothing fancy. I am looking at $200 or less and can print around 5x7 or larger if possible. I also, don't want massive ink costs either. Something I can use 3rd party/cheaper ink with would be nice to try to keep usage costs down. I am pretty clueless so I am looking for any recommendations. Thanks!

Hello, So I have been playing with a printer I bought a couple of years ago and have never gotten to run properly. The printer is a Tevo Black Widow, with the BL touch auto bed leveling option. The printer has always had awful prints, with a bubbly/ rough texture that I have never seen before. I switched all of my slicing from slic3r to simplify 3D and the awful texture went away (even though I made all of my settings the exact same as what I had been running in slic3r?!) Anyway, now that the printer is running decently, I'd like to use it for some actual printing as its large build volume will be very handy in the near future. The only thing I am still having problems with is the auto bed leveling. I have used the auto leveling feature through the LCD, and I think this is what is messing up my first layer. The print will be printing a perfect first layer, then move the Z axis down and print way too close to the bed, then move back up for other parts of the first layer. I am wondering if there is an easy way for me to wipe all bed leveling data and tell the printer that the plate is "perfectly flat" to see if this will get rid of the issue before attempting to use the sensor anymore. Thanks in advance for the help!

A friend of mine who is currently a university student is looking for a new printer. He currently has a Brother Ink jet MFP that chugs ink like a frat boy at a party with free beer and is looking to switch to a laser/LED printer. His only requirements are that it has to be a compact MFP as he lives in a small one bedroom condo with is partner and space is at a premium (he likes the size of my Samsung SCX-3205W), mono, scanner, wireless and doesn't cost as much as the first wireless printer ever made!. I have tried looking for something that suites his needs, but printers are not my area of expertise. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a new printer because my old one doesn't want to print in colours anymore. Maybe you can make a suggestion because I don't know that much about printers. It should have a scanner for DIN A4 too and being able to print front and back of the paper. WLAN would be good too but not a must. I'd pay max. 250USD. Thank you in advance!

Hey guys i am having a trouble with my Epson L210 printer. its been i think 6 years since i bought it and it was still working fine after fixing all the troubles it threw along the way. it is now showing up with a new kind of problem. every time i try to print something it loads the paper and ejects it with out printing. after ejecting, the paper warning light on the printer lights up denoting that the paper has either run out or it is jammed, but it is none of these. at first i thought there was a problem with the print head....so i took it all apart cleaned every thing..refilled the ink. but still it is ejecting paper without printing. anyone know how do i fix this issue??

So today I finally got to use my hp pagewide pro mfp 477dw. It had been sitting under my staircase for 1year. Brand new in the box. I set it up, connected it to my wifi. Scanned some photos, went and grabbed something to eat. When i came back - the printer did not respond. It has an LCD display, and it was black. So i tried disconnecting the powercord. Waited 1minute and plugged it back up. Still same result. Tried disconnecting - plug it in and holding the power on button for 1minute. Still same result. I know this is a long shot. But if any of you had this issue with a HP printer and resolved it, please let me know!

So i just installed the HP softwares for my printer. I restarted the PC and i got this: https://imgur.com/a/OanG2zq I check the Action - Remove and restart. But the same virus pops up again. How do I remove this? Damn my printer must have been hacked or something(?) EDIT: Downloaded Malware Bytes, but that does not find any virus on the computer. I tried to google a solution, but ended up just formatting the pc, a bit of a hassle but oh well.... Better than having a virus.

Hello LTT forums, hoping to get this sorted as it's doing my head in. As seen in the crudely put together image below, I would like to print from my desktop PC on "Network B" to a printer on "Network A", I would also like to be able to access NAS1 on "Network B" too. I have a spare switch and cables if need be, I also don't have an issue with buying any gear needed if it makes the situation easier or simplier. I have been thinking of upgrading to Ubiquiti equipment anyway. I can't get rid of either network due to circumstances out of my hands. I have a cable from the switch on Network A to Network B that connects the networks, however devices from network A would be connecting to the router on Network B that I didn't want. So I turned off DHCP and assigned IP's manually to the 3 devices I wanted using Network B. When DHCP was on, I could access the printer or NAS on Network B, but it meant uses on Network A would lose access to them. Notes: The switch in Network A is an Unmanaged TP-Link TL-SG116 16-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch. Does it need to be a manged switch in this instance? The router on Network B has had the WiFi disbaled as there was no need for it as everything is wired up. I'm sure there is a solution, just haven't figured it out myself yet.

Hello, I have Windows 10 1909 and when i go to: control panel - Devices and Printers - Add Device / Add a printer the menu flashes for 1 sec and then closes. Also if i go to: start menu - settings - devices that menu also flashes for 1 sec and them closes. In addition Bluetooth settings don't work. I don't have a printer installed and i don't have any Bluetooth devices i just noticed that those menus don't work. I have installed windows about a month ago. I have setup my computer exactly like i want it it's very stable and fast and would not like to format and start over. I have tried the usual routine: sfc /scannow DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup Get-appxpackage -all *shellexperience* -packagetype bundle |% {add-appxpackage -register -disabledevelopmentmode ($_.installlocation + “\appxmetadata\appxbundlemanifest.xml”)} and didn't help at all. I have tried to find relevant error messages in Event Viewer but nothing came up. I assume some service is not starting properly or something similar that's why the menus won't work. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you Chris

So I setup a CUPS print server on a Raspberry Pi to be able to print labels remotely and mobile carts throughout our company. I am still in the testing phase and I am having trouble added the printer through Server 2016. I can add it find on a Windows 10 computer but for some reason it cant communicate or connect with the CUPS printer on Server 2016. On the Win10 computers I can add them through File explorer and typing in the IP address and clicking connect since it is a shared printer on the network. I can also add them through direct IP through the windows device add as the following, http://192.168.2.239:631/printers/Bar_Code_Printer_T-3000_Plus Was wondering if any of you guys had experience with this before or anything that might help me.

I have an old canon mg 2120 and was at ends when the full size photo paper the first time i tried it came out perforated all over the paper by the feed spikes. Now i see the upgrade the PIXMA MG3620, but watching the qvc demo the photo paper was so thin it curled, not sexy at all. Now if that is what i have to deal with i am out, because my caveat is i want a front loading printer. I did find the HP ENVY Photo 6255 and link https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-envy-photo-6255-all-in-one-printer?jumpid=ma_2018-july-4-sale~printers~3~STO~K7G18A%23B1H~HP_ENVY_Photo_6255_All-in-One_Printer Is a front loading printer i am looking at. If you guys and gals can find me a better one at the price of around 80 smackers; my needs are: Low cost printing And Amazing scan quality with small file size Also front loading

Hi all, I am in a dilemma, our multifunction printer keeps printing some documents which no one in our office has given a print command for. Our Printer: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M226dw (Networked via ethernet) The printer is connected to a network of 10 computers via a Dlink 16 port network switch. I have checked the print queues for all computers and there are no prints in any queue. Yet, infrequently some documents keep getting printed, wasting our stationery in the process. Please help me figure out from where the documents are getting printed and how to plug the queue. Any advice would be helpful. If you need more details, I'll gladly provide. Thanks in advance, Varun Kamath

I am looking for a color laser printer that is an all-in-one. I am a big fan of Brother but if there is an overwhelming support for another brand I am willing to cross the aisle way. Thank you in advance.

I'm toying with the idea of just 3d Printing my own idea of a mini itx case. The other option is just buying some wood/plastic and cutting the panels by hand. That would be the cheaper option. The idea is half this: And half this: (Not my designs, but similar to what I want to do) If I do go ahead, I've already got a small space online to host files now. So while it would be some effort, I could put up general measurements if anyone else wants to cut/make their own case. Sizes for Motherboard/GPU brackets etc. There is a list of SSD brackets on Shapeways, but not really any list for GPUs or motherboard trays. The one site I found with STL files closed a few years ago (still up, but old files and no updates). Would anyone be interested in a simple site listing these measurements with example print outs/cut outs along with laser and/or 3d print design files? A bit like a "cheat sheet" for LTTs DIY projects or Case mod projects.
