Hey people , LTT has only managed to help me before and i really need your best of the best right now.. Ive bought a new 1080TI , almost an entire new computer though.. so i bnasically built everything from scratch again , computer turned on , had an issue with the ssd , installed windows 10 , things work! Starting to install stuff like mobo drivers and geforce experience.. managed to install everything , even the windows updates , pumped the hertz of the monitor to 144hz , started downloading overwatch just to check whats happening , and then suddenly , from nowhere - black screen , alot of "Error" ( dont know if error , but the windows sound of "error pop up") sound started a loop , and i have no idea what to do and so i clicked reset. turned on the pc again , no video output , plugged the dvi into the motherboard - back into windows. figured out theres an issue with gpu , the only issue is that i managed to see 144hz , the gpu is still getting power , fans are always spinning after pressing the power button(and instantly stop) , and the LEDs are always on. its just that i dont get any sort of video output from the gpu , and the monitor says no signal , but he detects that theres a cable plugged in. So i have no idea whats the problem cause ive never encountered it. Please help me im kinda hopeless right now.. and a bit sad actually Thank you.

Alright, so my buddies and I rent this house. It is 5 bedrooms, 1 master, 2 baths. I live upstairs in the north western corner of the house, and I'm just out of range for solid internet. I have a Netgear Nighthawk x6 router, that I got a couple of years ago. The house is in the shape of and "L" when you are looking down onto it, with my computer at one end, and the router in the room where both lines of the "L" intersect. I used to live in the room next to the router, which had an ethernet port direct connection, but now I'm just out of range. The landlord won't let me move the modem, or let me run a line down the stairs. My dinky wifi adapter that I'm using at the moment is just good enough to web surf. I can't play a game of Overwatch without losing connection, and downloads take forever. I'm looking for any suggested help that won't permanently alter the house. Thank you. Update: Currently looking for a powerline adapter. The wiring is only 20 years old with no history of significant issues. Came into a new problem while looking at the outlets, there isn't any room. The outlet with the router has two surge protectors. Top socket is powering the router, cable box, TV, and lights. Bottom socket powers the modem, and a signal amplifier for the cable box and modem.

I need to build the cheapest (Hopefully $300-$400, at most (not including mouse, keyboard, and monitor)) possible PC that can still run Rust on medium (ish) settings and I don't know what parts to buy or where exactly I should buy them to get the best deal. I'd need a keyboard, mouse, and monitor as well

So, I built my first system, with minimal issues..... Until now, a week later. I currently have a MAJOR stuttering problem in all the games I play. I have tried to diagnose the problem myself, but no solution has ever worked for me. MSI Afterburner reports major frametime spikes, up into the 80ms-90ms, then goes back down to around 5ms-10ms. I have also tried running the Unigine Heaven benchmark, with some success, but the stuttering still occurs. While running the benchmark, I also noted that when a stutter happens, Unigine shows the GPU clock and Memory clock essentially throttling all the way down to where they normally are on idle, but the temperatures are only in the high 50s and low 60s. I have also heard of power issues with the 1050 Ti's that don't have a 6 pin power connecter (Mine doesn't have one). If it is in fact a power issue, then I'll happily return the card and get one with a 6 pin connector. I appreciate all of the help everyone can give me, thanks! Specs: ASUS M5A78L-M usb3 motherboard AMD Bulldozer FX-6300 6Core 3.5Ghz Raedon R9 280x 3gb Graphics Card 8gb HyperX Fury RAM 250gb + 1tb HDD EVGA 600W PSU basically upon trying to play Overwatch the other night I was hit with a striped screen and a loud "BZZZZZT" through my headphones then the computer closed down. It started booting itself back up but the display was messed up, like there were smaller patches of stripes all across the screen (shown in image below) but upon powering it down and starting up again this issue was gone. I've since re-installed Windows 10 and updated my GPU drivers but I'm still getting this issue! it may be worth mentioning that I changed for a new monitor a few days ago and I got a new PSU after having issues with the last less than a month ago. Occasionally it restarts without the striped screen or buzz but that's only when I'm not in game, this is far less common and doesn't seem to have a specific trigger. Similarly I can run Overwatch for up to 15 minutes (longest so far) running about in the training area before it crashes and it's not upon doing anything in particular, it just stops. I've tried to run Rocket League but on launch I was hit with the restart and I can sit and watch Youtube for hours without a restart. I checked the GPU for any blown capacitors etc but it all seems intact. So far I've only had the stripes appear when crashing in Overwatch edit: this morning Overwatch ran for a good 30 minutes before crashing

Okay so I have been looking to invest in better server because my current one fried (Was a laptop) I am looking to host Garry's Mod. And I need enough ram and cpu to hold 80 players and upwards of 1000 props/ententes. I have been looking at THIS SERVER!! but I don't know if it's the best or if I should build my own... I am working with a limited budget ynder 500 USD. Any Suggestions would help! thank you. These are the Ones I have narrowed it down to I need the one with the best bang for my buck and that's capable of running 2 80 players servers with HIGH entities and props amount! Thank you!! And With the Unit Rack Servers do I need Special things for them to work like a rack or another PSU or does it come with it. And I think I need a monitor and keyboard + mouse right? And do I need a special router or is this like a PC tower and I can just plug a Ethernet cable into the back and give it power and BOOM! Cheap Server but good or High price but amazing or Mid Price but better or a $63 cheaper version with only 4 cores instead of 6 Tower Server and the Final CHEAPEST and 16 core but only 32gb of ram

Currently I have a m.2 for my C, which somehow is almost full even though it's 256gb, no games so idk why. Anyway, rather than running games in 4k from a HDD, I'd prefer to load some AAA games a tad faster than carrier pigeon. Is there much real world difference between the 750 and 850? Not going to really use it for anything par gaming, no rendering / recording etc. Thank's for the help! James

So about last saturday my connection became very bad. I've tried just about everything i could think of to fix and talked to verizon support and all they pretty much had to say was lol its not on our end. I'm able to have stable connection to websites like youtube etc but when trying to use voice chat over discord or skype every couple seconds i shoot up to about 3000 ping and all sound cuts out. I'm not able to play online games either such as overwatch because of the ping spikes. I find this strange because my connection is only faulty when i need a constant connection. The attached image shows my network graphs while downloading battlefield 1. Does anyone know any solutions because this has been going on for over a week and I'm tired of it

So Im building a small form factor computer and I have already chosed most components so I would want some help choosing a matching Power supply Here is my specs: Cpu: Intel i5 6600K unlocked Cpu Cooler: Cryorig Low Profile c7 -Case: Fractal Design Define Nano S - MOBO: Gigabyte z170n WIFI - Gpu: Evga Gtx 1060 3GB (sc version) - RAM: 2x4 Gb Ballistix Sport - Other maybe important stuff to note: I ordered some white led lightning strips to. Though this setup is prepared for OC I dont really planning on doing so in the near future (A year Perhaps) Because I would probably have to change some of the thing or add for example more fans. This is my first build so I would prefer not having this first one completely destroyed because of a bad PSU so that why I tuned in here for Help. I am open for any kind of tips you can get me to! I have looked at Fractal designs own Edison M550w Psu but if I can get my hands on a better one that would be great. Would be really, really REALLY grateful for some answers from you guys!

Recently built my dream pc with an RTX 2070 and an i9 9900k. As is popular with the i9 I started to overclock it after using the pc for about a month without overclocking. For about 3 days I overclocked it from its boost clock of 4.7 to 4.9 with no issues reaching 250 FPS in rainbow six siege, after that for one day I overclocked it to the famed 5.0 ghz with no issues until today. Today marks the second day of the cpu running at 5ghz and halfway into a siege match it crashed and gave me a blue screen. No problem, I got plenty of overclocking blue screen problems with my old pc so I decided to dial back the overclock to the stable 4.9. However, now I only reach around 100-120 FPS in siege with no discernible fix. All graphics setting are the same, preformed a cmos clear and even got rid of any overclock and it still only gets 100fps. Help is greatly appreciated.

Just built my dream pc several weeks ago and after initial problems of having an A2 and A9 post code error I got it to work thanks to this forum. Today I was going to have a crack at trying to overclock my i9 but I couldn’t seem to get to the bios which seemed odd because I got there countless times before. Upon clearing the cmos the pc wont boot at all and I previously was running windows 1 minute ago. Now the mobo is again stuck at A9 and I can’t do anything this time as the bios doesn’t even show up.

Windows 10! I have an Msi b350mm bazooka motherboard. Bios is at default Amd ryzen 3 1200 at 3.1ghz not oc An xfx rx 570 4gb And a 1tb 2.5 hdd I have every driver up to date but every now and again I get a bsod with a clock watchdog timeout I've had this problem since I built it (2 months) And I have tried upping the cpu voltage a little bit but nothing seems to work, should I just get a new cpu?

Hello, similar to my other thread I am having trouble with my recently build pc where it initially gave me the error code A2 which I thought was an easy fix. However, after this morning it now reads A9 which I believe is a more serious issue. I have googled the error code and most people state that it’s a gpu problem but I can get to the bios via the hdmi port on my gpu and everything seems to be working fine except the pc doesn’t detect my drives. The only thing I’ve done with the gpu is slightly move it out of the slot (moved up the retention clip then gently moved the gpu out of the slot (didn’t fully remove it just held it somewhat in the slot) so that I could get to some cables that it trapped underneath it). Help would be greatly appreciated because I am freaking out hoping that it is not a gpu issue.
