  1. I am a first time PC builder and I am going to build my first PC this Thursday(after playing console my whole life) I want to build my PC outside the case to check that everything is working correctly. I plan on using just the motherboard box as my non-conductive test bench. Here are my PC parts if you need reference: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6R6Byc As far as I'm concerned, the only parts I believe I need to get the computer at least operating are the Motherboard, APU, RAM and Power Supply. Would I need anything else like the SSD or the dedicated Graphics Card I'm using(because the 7850k already has onboard graphics) to have to PC running to check that it's working?
  2. CPU: AMD Vishera FX-6300 3.50GHz Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Memory: G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB Dual DDR3 1600 CL7 Storage: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Sata Hard Drive Video Card: Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II OC 2GD5 Case: Aerocool Xpredator X1 Power Supply: Corsair TX650M 650W 80Plus Bronze (Modular) Budget Running at $600-$900 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monitor: Samsung LED 22" S22D300 (bought) Mouse: Razer Naga Epic (bought) Keyboard: Corsair vengance K95 (buying this week) Any comments? I really need suggestions if im doing this right. Thank you
  3. In have decided to go with this Micro-ATX case: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_1287&products_id=25698 Just wondering if a h100i would fit? or if I would be better to go with a h80i. Thanks in Advance
  4. Hello LTT forum members, I'm going to order PC components for my new build this week. I need advice about the parts I've chosen because I'm getting this custom computer build for the first time and so I want to know if these products are reliable and last long and match/ work perfectly fine without any problems. I'm planning also planning to overclock these parts as well. Here are the parts I'm ordering this week: For the CPU I've chosen the AMD FX 8350 @4Ghz. For the RAM (I've had a hard time to find these low profile memory kit) I'm going with the Kingston HyperX PnP 2x 4GB @1600Mhz. I've decided to get the Asus M5A990FX Pro R2.0 motherboard. For the CPU cooler (I need some advice here) I'm going with the Cooler Master Hyper 412 Slim version. The GPU will be the Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 from AMD (I have little doubt about it) For the storage I'm just getting a 1TB blue hard drive from Western Digital. I'm still deciding for which case, I'm thinking of getting the Corsair Carbide R500 or the AeroCool PGS B series XPredator X3 white. I'm also getting some case fans for the case The PSU is a 750W Corsair CX750. (Didn't find a 650W PSU for cheaper the price than the CX750). And finally a PCI-e interface USB 3.0 card. Btw I'm letting the shop building it + getting a 2 year warranty, because I don't have the needed time for building it myself :( I'm going to use this pc for my regular gaming and AutoCAD (because of my study) I don't know that much about some great CPU coolers. I want to have at least low temperatures on the CPU cores so I can overclock the CPU for a bit. I did some research on the web for the best low to midrange CPU coolers but some of them are not available at this moment or they are a lot more expansive than in other countries (Like the USA or UK). The total cost of this build will be around €950,- or $1250,- Any help appreciated :)
  5. Hello guys! I am going to university soon and I need a new PC, I've been using laptops for many years and never own a desktop PC before, I did some research and finally got myself a plan, heres are the set up: CPU: Intel Core i5 4440 (3.1 Ghz - 3.3 Ghz) RAM: Corsair 16 GB 1600 Mhz Motherboard: MSI Z87m G43 HDD: Seagate 1TB SSHD GPU: 2GB MSI GTX 750Ti OC Case: Antec GX-500 Monitor: liyama 22 inch IPS LED Full HD monitor PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Modular 550W, 85% effiency I am gonna buy this setup in late August or early September this year. I planned to have this for at least 4 to 6 years because I don't want to waste more money on upgrading components, I mainly use it for films music, and gaming of course! I also like to expenience different operating system on virtual box so I guess 16Gb ram will help. For all that it would cost me about £800 (about $1200?). I would like to know what you guys think and what improvement could you suggest? Many thanks!
  6. I was wanting to check if i was missing anything in keeping my computer up to snuff. Daily: Microsoft Updates, Security (Antivirus) Updates, Security Quick Scan Weekly: Manuel Backups, Delete Temp. Files & Fix Registry (CCleaner), Security Full Scan, ScanDisk, Chkdisk Monthly: Update Non-Microsoft Software; Drivers & BIOs; Remove unused, expired, & demo software & games, Defrag, Check cabling 3 Monthly: Air Dust Computer Case, Datavac PC Case (3 or 6 Months) Yearly: Router, Modem, & Printer Firmware, Purge system (Wipe PC or Advanced cleaning). Make inventory list of every component or part associated with your PC Unfiled:, Clean Input/Output components (Disinfect). Printer Maintenance? Clean & reapply Thermal Paste
  7. I am going to be building a new gaming pc and I want to know if price wasn't a serious issue if I should go with a intel LGA 1150, 4770k or a LGA 2011, 4820k
  8. Hey guys. So I've decided to make a new build plan after doing a bit more research into what I really wanted out of my PC. I live in Australia and I've decided to not place a budget on the build. That being said I'm not going to go out of my way to pay ridiculous amounts of money for only a slight improvement. However I will be trying to get high quality parts that will fulfill my needs. The aim of this build is to have a great looking Red/Black themed PC capable of achieving 120fps in the latest games and a solid PC for light Photoshop/Rendering and internet browsing. I plan to initially purchase a high refresh rate 1080p monitor for use with competitive gaming and then using 1~2 more monitors that I already own, just for browsing the internet and doing other things in the background. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Primo Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero CPU: Intel i7-4770k GPU: Asus R9 290 DirectCU II OC RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Red, 8gb (2x4GB) @1600mhz PSU: Corsair AX860i Platinum CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i HDD: Seagate Barracuda - 2TB 7200RPM SSD: Samsung 840 EVO - 120GB Monitor: BenQ XL2420TE 24" 144hz Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250 OHMS DAC/AMP: Fiio E10 Mouse: ROCCAT Kone Pure Optical Keyboard: Corsair RGB - Cherry MX Brown Fans: 2x Corsair SP120 for mounting on the h100i, 1x AF140 for back exhaust and 2x AF140 Red LED for the front intake. Total Price = Roughly $3300 AUD. I'm planning to do some light modding with the case, such as redoing the Blue LED down the front to change it to hopefully a RGB LED (if it fits) or at least a Red LED. Once this build is all done I'll probably pick up a second R9 290 to crossfire and then research into doing a custom water-loop, although this is going to be a little while after the initial build. If you have any questions/recommendations on any parts feel free to say
  9. These are the parts I'm thinking of getting. Swiftech Apogee HD Swiftech MCP655-B Bitspower Water Tank Z-Multi 250 Inline Reservoir (BP-WTZM250P-BK) Swiftech ⅜” x ⅝” Lok-Seal™ Compression Fitting Swiftech MCRx40-QP "Quiet Power" Radiator Series (dual 120mm)x2 Swiftech HydrX PM 2 CoolantSwiftech Vinyl Tubing PowerColor AX7950 3GBD5-2DHV4 Radeon HD 7950 Boost State 3GB EK-FC7950 waterblock Case: NZXT Phantom 820 (Black) ATX Full Tower Case not sure how it would work but the positioning would be something like this: (GPU AND CPU COOLED) Made a change, the res is next to the ram Thanks guys!
  10. Hey guys, I'm planning to watercool my build by the end of this year. I plan to watercool the CPU and GPU. I needed a case that wasn't huge but would let me keep drive cages but still have at least 4x120mm of radiator goodness. I decided on a Corsair C70. I was wondering if you guys could help me with picking other components that I haven' done yet and just help the process along :P I'm currently trying to decide between the placements of the front radiator. Either way, I'll end up getting the thickest one that I can fit without GPU interference. The thick rad on the bottom as in the bottom picture will get better airflow but give me less space for drives (I think I can limit myself to three drive spaces (i can put my SSD elsewhere). Having a rad on the hard drive cages like in the top picture would give me more space for hard drives, which I'd like but I'd have questions about airflow. Which do you think would do better for me? Would I need to do push pull on an 80mm thick rad or would two fans be enough (either way there will also be a rad in the roof. Next, I plan to use a load of black bitspower compression fittings in black for the whole thing. I'd like opaque red (dark red) tubing but I don't know where to start looking at brands and diameters and stuff. I've decided on a waterblock for the CPU: http://www.xs-pc.com/products/waterblocks/cpu-waterblocks/raystorm-cpu-waterblock-intel/ (gonna put some red LEDs in it) I've decided that I'll get radiators from Alphacool and noiseblocker fans. The res I've chosen is this: http://www.xs-pc.com/products/reservoirs/dual-5-25%E2%80%9D-bay-reservoir-alu-front/ and the pump is this: http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/Laing-DDC-1T-Pro-Pump-440-Lhr-10W-MCP350--DDC-1T-pid-2723.html It would be awesome if you guys had any tips for me and any reccomendations or anything Thanks bchampion96

  13. Hi, i am currently planning a water cooled build in the Carbide Series® Air 540 case. And i'd like to know, if there are flaws in my build plan and also i'd like to hear if you have some suggestions on how to improve the loop in general. Computer that i will be water cooling, is my current fully air cooled computer and the only changes i am making to it are: New PSU for future 3-Way SLI or maybe even 4-Way SLI(Probably not and certainly not without a new mobo and a CPU). New Case because water cooling in my current case is near impossible without some serious modding, which i don't have the skill nor tools to do. Maybe in the future i will add the third Asus 780 DCU II OC into it, but probably i'll just wait a generation or 2 for new nVidia GPUs and then upgrade to 3-Way SLI using what ever those gfx cards are. I may switch the fans to Corsair SP120s depending on the feedback and how my current Silverstone Air Penetrators look in the build. New Fan Controller (the XT version) because my current fan controller just isn't doing a good enough job and it also won't fit since i do have a Blu-Ray drive that i intent to use in this build as well. And ofc water cool CPU and the GPU(s). I don't think i am going to bother with water cooling the mobo because, the mobo block costs a little too much in my opinion and it doesn't really matter much anyway. Current build specs: i7 2600K @4.5GHz 16GB of G.Skill Ripjaws X @2133Mhz 2-Way SLI Asus 780 DCUII OC @1081/7008Mhz Asus ROG Maximus IV Extreme B3 Samsung 840 x2 in RAID0 Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler with 2 Corsair SP120 fans both in pull config Corsair AX750 PSU Antec 1200 Case with SilverStone Air Penetrator blue LED fans Asus Xonar Xense Sound Card Water cooling parts list: GPU blocks: EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII - Nickel (Original CSQ) I just love how these bad boys look. GPU backplates: EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII Backplate - Black I'd love to use the default Asus DCU II backplates, but according to EK's site they don't fit correctly with the water blocks. GPU block bridge parts: EK-FC Bridge SINGLE CSQ - Plexi Is this the correct piece to use in between the GPU blocks and the triple bridge? EDIT: Nope, the correct piece(EK-FC Link) comes included with the waterblock it self. EK-FC Bridge TRIPLE Parallel CSQ Plexi Parallel FTW! EK-FC Link BLANK Parallel CSQ To seal that middle slot in the triple bridge. CPU block: EK-Supremacy - Nickel Still not sure, if i should go with EK-Supremacy Clean CSQ - Nickel instead.. Should i? Pump: EK-D5 PWM Motor (12V DC PWM Pump Motor) Isn't this the pump Linus always speaks so highly of off? It's amazeballs in any case IMHO. Reservoir: Option A: EK-D5 X-RES 140 CSQ - Acetal It's going in the back of the case on top of the 2.5" drive cages and i'll mount it horizontally to the roof. And swap the res top to EK-RES X3 - Multiport TOP. Option B: EK-D5 X-RES 100 CSQ - Acetal I'll mount it on top of the 2.5" drive cages vertically to the back wall and prey there is enough clearance for EK-RES X3 - Multiport TOP and fittings. Option C: EK-Multioption RES X2 - 100 Basic I'll mount the res on top of the 2.5" drive cages vertically to the mesh wall and mount the pump with EK-D5 X-TOP CSQ - Acetal on the front panel below the 5.25" bays. Option D: EK-Multioption RES X2 - 100 Basic I''l mount the pump with the EK-D5 X-TOP CSQ - Acetal on top of the 2.5" drive cages on the mesh wall and the res next to it vertically with EK-UNI Holder 50/70s. Which option do you think is the best? My favourite option is B, but im not sure if it's doable due to possible clearance problems. Pump mounting hardware: Mounting mechanism D5 X-TOP EK-UNI Holder D5 V2 (If it's not included with the res i choose.) Radiators: EK-CoolStream PE 360 (Triple) This will go to the front of the case(ports facing down) and depending on how well the top rad fits, i'll put the fans inside or outside of the case in push config or in pull, if that means that i don't have to put them outside and thus run them without the included dust filter. EK-CoolStream RAD XTX (240) This will go on top of the case(ports facing the back of the case) and the fans will be exhausting hot air out in pull config. I wish there would be enough room to fit the XTX version of the 360 rad to the front, because that radiator is just so RAD (get it ?) </badpuns> Fittings & Tubing: EK-CSQ Fitting 10/16mm G1/4 -Black Nickel Would have loved to go with Bitspower Black Sparkle fittings, but i just could not figure out how to use their shop. So i just gave up and went with something equally awesome looking. Also the main reason i don't use hard plexi tubing is that, i wanted to use crystal link but that got foiled by the lack of "Buy" button in the Bitspower shop. Also i'd like to go easy on fittings since this is the first water cooled build i am building after all. PrimoChill PrimoFlex™ Advanced LRT™ 15,9 / 9,5mm - Crystal Clear I guess this is my only option, since i want tubing without any markings and which is very clear and high quality. Coolant: EK-Ekoolant UV BLUE I won't be using any UV lighting(I will use 2x neon blue cold cathodes as lighting for the case.) but this should look really blue without it right? EDIT: Original post If some mod happens to see this post, please delete the original post.
  14. I'm thinking on building my first pc because a relative of mine did it and he has had great results; so far this are the components I am thinking on getting: NZXT phantom 410 mid-tower case $90 AMD FX-8350 $190 Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO $34 Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound 3.5 Grams $7 ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX $136 Western Digital 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache BLACK $82 G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 $81 EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked $260 Corsair CX Series 600 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Bronze $77 ASUS VS228H-P 22-Inch Full-HD 5ms LED-Lit LCD Monitor $130 Anker CG100 8200dpi gaming mouse $40 Asus 24x DVD-RW Serial-ATA Internal OEM Optical Drive $23 Total Price ≈ $1,169 USD *Prices are from Amazon.com at the date of the post (8th of may 2014) and rounded by the cents, and in USD. Q's Should I change anything? Are there any cables or extra small stuff required that I should know about? Should I buy more case fans?, if so, which ones should I buy and do they come with all of the required cables? Any opinions whatsoever? Should I spend on a SSD at this budget? Does the CM 212 EVO interfere with this specific DDR3 sticks in this specific mobo, if so, what should I change? Does placing another CPU cooler fan on the 212 EVO for push/pull make much of a difference? I read that the FX8350 can overclock up to 4.5 GHz using this cpu cooler, how much more do you think I would be able to OC the FX8350 with the push/pull? Is everything compatible? P.S. I'm on a budget of $1250 usd, preferably less. P.P.S. I already have a keyboard (rubberdome) at home but I'm considering a CM Storm QuickFire Rapid Tenkeyless Cherry mx Brown mechanical keyboard. Is it worth the $70 usd?
  15. I'm planning a new gaming PC but I would love any and all recommendations by the community, my current parts are as follows: I should probably add id like to try and keep the parts to black and red if possible Intel Core 15-4670k 3.4 GHz 6MB cache $269.99 WD 1TB black SATA III 64MB cache MSI Z87-G45 GAMING dual DDR3-1600, SB cinema 7.1 Audio, Killer GB Lan, Crossfire/SLI, HDMI, DVI, D-SUB Corsair Carbide 500R case, black Corsair Force series GS SATA III SSD 128GB eVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC 2GB ACX cooler w/ dual boost 2.0 Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL9 dual channel kit Corsair RM series RM750 modular PSU and Win 8 of course Im also looking into an after market cooling solution for the i5 so i can OC it to around 4.4GHz AND id like to SLI two 770's in the future. Any suggestions would be awesome.

  17. Hey Guys, Today I Believe to have finished planning my build for the most part, but being that I am pretty new at this I would like you to look over it. This build will be used primarily for 3D rendering/Modeling. I also plan to play games such as Battlefield 4, Minecraft, Diablo 3, Call of Duty, Garry's Mod, Portal, etc. Lastly I will be recording to upload to youtube with Dxtory and Vegas pro to then edit and render my videos. I am currently trying to keep the price down to sub $1500 and I really like how I am sitting right now. I will be upgrading in the future to an SSD or two without any RAID setup and two GPU's with crossfire or SLI and up to 3 monitors at 1080p though currently I am only running one 1080p Monitor. Finally the GPU I am currently planning to use is one of the new radeons from AMDm most likely the 260X. Please note that the peripherals are my choice and I do not like people suggesting different. If you need any more information feel free to ask. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/NerdNinja/saved/2xYd Please provide reasoning to any suggestions you have. changed parts as of Oct. 9, 2013 5:39 pm Central time
  18. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1sj44 So I am planning a editing/gaming pc and I wanted to know if my power supply was ample. I am only worried because i plan on custom liquid cooling this with like 2 2X120 rads. (Cooling the CPU and GPU). Is the psu powerful enough. Thanks.
  19. This build is not going to happen just yet, i dont have money or time or space just yet, so things may change later on if new hardware comes out. Just need some advice, guidance and opinions on plan/design. This will be my first build, tips/tricks welcome.
  20. Heya guys I am looking to make a computer for myself. I will start study nano technology later this summer and even though my laptop is a beast I am in need of more power. I haven't build a computer ever before so I would like some help and feedback from you guys Budget & Location My budget is around 1600€ (+/-) but if you believe I could use my money wiser or get much more using a little more, I am all ears. I live in Denmark, but I am going to buy most parts from Germany (if not all) since it is way too expensive in Denmark. I have looked around and it seems like http://hardwareversand.de has some of the cheapest parts. Would be nice if I can get most parts from one place. Aim I need a new computer mainly for gaming and heavy calculating programs (like math lab). But I would also like to be able to do some video editing (After Effects) and Photoshop as a hobby. Monitor I am also looking for a new monitor but that isn't a part of this budget. I will most likely make a post in the monitor section, when I'm done choosing parts for the PC itself. Peripherals Peripherals have already been decided. Looking forward to try mechanical keyboard for the first time. I've already made some research and come up with some parts I like (but haven't decided more than the case yet): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1pjE8 I know I am still in need of ram and maybe a CPU cooler. But I don't know if I am going to overclock from start or do that later on. If I can get a good CPU cooler without spending too much above the budget I will do some overclocking, but might wait till another time with that. And I know the power supply is overkill but I would like a semi-modular/modular power supply if you try to find a replacement.
  21. Hello Guys, I am looking to build myself a new rig, since my old one died on me. Budget & Location My budget is at 800€. I'm located in the North of Germany, www.caseking.de is a shop that I have used many times, however they don't always stock all the mainboards and graphics cards on the market. An alternative (oh, the Iron E) would be www.alternate.de or mindfactory.de Aim This rig will be used for a number of different things, which makes it so hard for me to choose the parts. It should be a quiet gaming rig, that is also capable of running rendering oriented (CAD) software like Solidworks (nothing too complex, I'm a student of Aerospace Engineering), but I would also like to be able to do video recording (Fraps) and editing (no SFX, just Sony Vegas) as a hobby. Another factor is that not all parts from my old PC are dead: -126GB SSD for the OS, -RAID 0 array of 3 1TB disks for games, -2TB drive for storage and -DVD drive survived, which I want to use in the new Build wherever possible in order to cut the cost. Monitor & Peripherals These do not have to be included in this budget. Currently I am using two 24" 1080p screens, however the idea of surround gaming sounds quite tempting to me. Also it looks awesome. So maybe a third monitor will join the group, although this will not be in the very near future. I grew up with PC containing Intel CPU's and nVidia GPU's so I'm a bit biased towards the blue and green. But does that really matter in this context? The current market situation with Haswell and the nVidia 700 series recently being released confuses me quite a bit. Is it worth going for the next generation? All in all I'm looking for recommendations for a quiet, yet small and easy to transport case, CPU, GPU, RAM, Mobo, PSU, case fans and CPU cooling solution. I'm unsure, if overclocking would give a viable performance increase in this case, but I am not afraid of doing so. I know, that I'm probably looking for a egg-laying-cowpigsheep, but if you guys could help me out, it would help a lot. Thanks in advance, ItsJustMidnight
  22. So I have yet to venture into water cooling but plan on doing so in the near future. I have put this small list together from what I've learned watching a bunch of videos on youtube and reading other posts etc. Swiftech MCP655 Bitspower D5 / MCP655 Pump Mod Kit XSPC AX360 Triple 120mm Radiator w/ Aluminum Enclosure - White Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 White 120mm single Alphacool Cape Corp Coolplex Pro 10 LT - 100mm Bitspower Dual / Single D5 Top Upgrade Kit 150 PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Tubing 3/8"ID x 1/2" OD White Heatkiller Rev 3.0 Alphacool Compression Fitting - G 1/4 Thread 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD x8 Koolance G1/4 Nozzle Socket Plug - Black x10 Noiseblocker NB-eLoop B12-4 x4 This is for the most part for looks as I will also be doing my own sleeving for this potential upgrade. What can I change/add to improve this upgrade? My current PC is in my sig Many thanks in advance.
  23. Hey guys! I'm looking for a proper program to do serious planning of my future build in. I've been thinking about using SketchUp to model all of my ideas into a case or whatever. But I was woundoring if there's something better / easier or if I should just stick with SketchUp ? I'll be using it for planning at case modding, watercooling and the like.
  24. So I've decided on my parts(here and here) but I'm confused and haven't decided on my color theme(I know, it's very shallow). I'm thinking of either green or uv green tubing w/ black compression fittings, red or uv red tubing w/ black compression fittings, or change the case with a black and white then have a white tubing with black compression fittings(can't wait to get this project started(in maybe one year or so (but I'll get the main components after 4-6 months))). Any advice?
  25. *Please fill out the whole poll if possible, it makes it a little easier on me.* Hey guys, I'm doing some last minute part shopping, I need by build done around the 28th - 29th. Please leave some recommendations (Removal, Adding, Replacing, etc.) Build: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/wQhwmG Aim: I'm a small YouTuber and I will be uploading videos 2 - 3 times a week and I plan on doing game design/programming. But I'm sure an i5 can handle it. The game design project I'm working on isn't that big of a project. Budget & Location: My budget is about $1100, and I live in Canada. I will be using NCIX to order my parts. Monitors: I will be using 1 monitor, and I don't plan on upgrading to any more in the near future... Keep in mind, plans may change. The monitor I am currently using will run at 1920x1200, I will upgrade in the future but this monitor should get the job done. Peripherals: No, I don't need any Peripherals, I have my own. I do not need an OS, I have 30 day Windows 7 free trial, and I can buy Windows 8 with that, and I also have a Windows 8 CD w/h a key. Concerns: (Please read these, as it is important to note!) - Is the H440 a good case for this build? I'm concered about the airflow & space. I will be upgrading through the years alot, and hopefully this case is big enough, is it? - Is 750W enough to SLI GTX 770's in the future? - One last thing, MSI Twin Frozr, or EVGA ACX - GTX 770? Does it matter? Not much of a concern, more of a question. - If I water cool, is it possible there will be a leak and it will fry my components? Friend told me about this, lol. Thanks for the help! Extra details - I'm a Nvidia guy for a GPU, and an Intel guy for a CPU - but I don't mind trying out AMD. - Willing to bend the budget a little bit, make it reasonable. - Don't know how to setup a water cooler. - I don't plan to Overclock. - Upgrading over time is the key sentence for me. - I have a 1TB external hard drive - I do not do rebates.
