Hello all, randomly when playing games, browsing the web, even just using discord my computer seems to freeze for about 1-10s, it disconnects everything currently connected to my pc via usb and then reconnects them and I un-freeze. If I am playing a game the game doesn't even crash, and after the 1-10s I can just continue playing like it never happened. It seems to trigger quite often when someone joins or leaves my discord channel but I think that could be just a big coincidence as that doesn't really make any sense. I've tried using event viewer to source the issue, and discovered every time I freeze I get a Kernel Event Tracing error id 28. I think this may just be due to the fact that when I freeze my peripherals disconnect then reconnect , but every time I plug in my ASTRO A50's and my Hyper X Quadcast S I get those errors. Not sure if those errors could cause the freeze in the first place though. Seems to happen about only once a day not sure if i can remember if it's happened more than once in a day and I use my computer for hours upon hours everyday. Any help appreciated been dealing with this pretty much ever since I built the PC and I can't take it anymore. My specs: GPU : Asus Strix 3080 CPU : i9 13900k MOBO : Asus z790-e RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 64gb 6400mhz PSU : Corsair Shift Series 1000W NVME(s) : Corsair MP 600 and Corsair MP 600 PRO XT OS : Win 10 Pro I have tried upgrading my PSU from 850w to 1000w didn't fix it. I have tried upgrading my RAM from 32gb 6000mhz to 64gb 6400mhz didn't fix it. I have tried upgrading my MOBO from asus z690e to asus z790e didn't fix it. I have tried doing a complete clean install of windows (formatting the drive it was originally installed on and reinstalling with a USB) didn't fix it. I have tried replacing the A50's and Quadcast with brand new ones, didn't fix it. I have tried going into Power Management and turning off USB Selective Suspend, also went into device manager and made every single device that had the option of not allowing the pc to turn it off unchecked. I have tried updating bios to most current one, didn't fix it. Please someone help still not resolved as of 11/10/23

Hi, I have a problem with my mouse Razer DeathAdder V3 (DAV3), while connected to a PC it won't boot to the windows. When I start the PC it will load the MB logo with single short beep, as usual, but it freezes for up to about 15 seconds and then it goes to black screen. When I start PC without mouse plugged in it will work just fine. I tried other USB ports and also other PC, but "unfortunately" it worked fine, thus I can not return or exchange the product because, obviously, they will sent it back with message: "It works for us, there is a problem on your side". Previously I had DAV1 from Razer and it worked fine. What I've tried and other notes: I've tried BIOS USB initialization set to: partial and full I've tried toggling fast boot enable/disable I've checked the boot order in BIOS (cause I saw somewhere that those mices have their own memory for profiles so I checked if it is not booting system from the mouse which is probably bs but I had to try everything) BIOS firmware is up to date (I have the latest one from 2018, its an old MB) I've tried setting the BIOS to default I've tried different USB ports (even those which work with keyboard or other peripherals) I've tried uninstalling the device driver I've tested on other PC (worked fine) I've checked the newest firmware for DAV3 - there is no new firmware for DAV3 only for DAV3Pro Before DAV3 I had DAV1 (it worked fine) My specs are: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 (BIOS version 3503, latest from 2018) Intel Core i7-4790K 4GHz 2x8GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 RAM (1866MHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD (1TB) boot drive Intel 530 Series 180GB WD Black 1TB HDD Cooler Master G650M (650W) Thank you for any help you provide.

I am not talking about a KVM option believe it or not. I am talking about a device that allows you to have one keyboard and one mouse to click, scroll, type at the same time without clicking a button. An example of this would be this video at timestamp 7:00 : ( ) I'm looking to replicate this with some devices I have at home for speedtests without cmd prompt using my computers, what is this peripheral called?

Greetings everyone! I have been using an MX Anywhere 2s for about 4 years now and I feel as if it's time for an upgrade, my left click is now ghost clicking, esthetically it has seen MUCH better days but above all, I'm quite annoyed at the software Logitech provides for these mice, Options. It's so inconsistent! I can't for the end of me get button map sync to work across multiple devices, every now and again my gestures just don't work and have to go on and open the Options app (enough to disrupt my workflow). I do love the darkfield sensor, the endless scrolling wheel is sublime and I appreciate how the rubber feet glide through every surface they can touch. So I was wondering. Is there any similar experience to what the MX series brings from another brand? Am I better of with just upgrading to a 3rd gen MX? Do the Logitech G series offerings bring a more polished experience?

So im a casual gamer but i like to have a good mouse while gaming, usually play games like cs go, fortnite, apex..etc. im debating over: steelseries rival 110, logitec g402 or g305 wireless. I have big hands and usually play palm grip, you think the 402 is the best option here? I heard its a heavy mouse, and the sniper button is a big turn off for me if it gets in my way of my thumb rest.

Hi. As they all break the same time sadly, after 3 years my headset broke today. I am looking for a recommendation for headset. Now I don't know if I should get a "Gaming" Headset or get Headphones and separate microphone. What I am looking for: 1. Wireless headset as I have a problem with wires on headsets 2. Comfortable for long usage 3. Price at most 170 - 180 euros (190 - 200 $) for the whole headset or both headphone and microphone 4. Over ear as I hate in ear and on ear (not comfortable in my opinion). Thanks in advance for any recommendations. EDIT: Usage: Gaming EDIT2: We can throw the wireless part. Maybe there are some better things at this price that are wired.

I am currently researching to the best of my ability to find the best USB microphone on the market for $130 dollars or less(USD). I am looking for a microphone that would be great for streaming on Twitch, with the best audio quality available at this price point. My friend purchased the Fifine k670 and it sounds pretty good, although I want the best audio quality possible. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Not entirely sure where I should post this. This is my first time coming to this forum and is my last attempt at finding a solution to this particular problem I am having. I recently bought a laptop with a 256GB NVMe SSD. I purposely chose the 256GB SSD because the money I would save was equal to the cost of a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB SSD. The problem I am having is cloning over my OS and the entire 256GB SSD over to my new 1TB SSD. My laptop only has one NVMe port so it seemed logical to me that I could find a PCIe (2280 compatible) adapter for my 1TB SSD to a USB Type A or C. Unfortunately, it seems not a single PCIe adapter exists, or one that is reasonably priced that is. From the hours of research I have done and the stores I have called the only one I could find was on Newegg and that was an external PCIe enclosure with about half of its reviewers getting their SSD fried. I am not sure if I am alone here but if anyone knows of a M.2 NVMe PCIe (2280 compatible) adapter to USB Type A or C I would greatly appreciate a link or some suggestions. At this point the only real way to clone over my 256GB SSD is to buy an external SSD or swap the drives and redownload everything; Windows, Drivers, etc. on my terrible DSL connection. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. ~ Vatruvius

Good evening, my name is Johannes and I´m from Germany. Later today I wanted to play through one of my long forgotten games of my steam library. I wanted to play "Ori and the Blind Forest", but as I turned it on my Selectionsign always went from top to bottom 24/7. I tried to turn off the controller through Steam or the Game itself but that did not work. Then I uninstalled the mouse driver and reinstalled them, and that didn´t work either. I wrote to the Roccat Support but they were kinda like:" Bro I have no idea, maybe buy a new one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯." I had a similar problem in Battlefield 4 which the mouse was partly developed for. I had to pull out the mouse twice before Battlefield would let me use the mouse again. And yes I tried that with Ori the Blind Forest and that didn´t work, too. If anyone has an idea how to fix this an answer would be very nice, have a nice day Johannes PS: Sorry for my fucked up english grammar.

https://appleinsider.com/articles/18/08/20/logitech-reveals-its-first-vertical-mouse-the-mx-vertical https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mx-vertical-ergonomic-mouse "Logitech has revealed the MX Vertical, a new Mac and Windows mouse intended to reduce muscle strain for some people by putting the wrist in a less stressful position." Would love to see LTT review this product. A new ergonomic peripheral from a mainstream peripheral company seems right up their alley. It connects via Bluetooth, USB-C, or a dongle (not sure whether it's a USB-A dongle or what).

3rd forum post in less than a week lmao I'm planning to upgrade my peripheral set soon, but I still don't know which headsets to buy. I've decided to buy budget gaming headsets, but there are two choices for me: Corsair HS50 or HyperX Cloud Stinger. Both are sold for $69.99 in my country. After doing some research online, I know that both headsets are comfortable. I don't really care about microphone quality since I just talk to my friends on Discord and communicate in-game. The only thing I want to know is which headset has better sound quality. I'm a bass type of guy, just so you know.

I'm gonna be upgrading my peripherals in a few months, but I'm not sure what set I should get. Set 1: Razer Blackwidow Chroma v2 ($169.99) Razer Kraken Pro ($79.99) Razer DeathAdder Elite ($69.99) Set 2 (sold at a different store): Razer Blackwidow X Chroma ($180) Corsair HS50 or HyperX Cloud Stinger ($69.99) Logitech G502 ($69.99) Note: these two sets both total to the same price in my country, so the only factors to consider between these sets are quality. EDIT: For set 2, I also have two other choices for the keyboard: Corsair K68 RGB ($169.99) and Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 ($185). So if you suggest me to take set 2, make sure to also tell me which keyboard and headset to get!

The monitor doesn't have to be recent, but being a noob at PCs I would figure more recent = better, but more pricey. I was looking for a new monitor for gaming/media. I want something that has good visuals, but also performs really well with games. GSYNC I heard is a must. I was recommended The Dell Gaming Monitor S2417DG YNY1D. Are there any other good monitors around this price? I am also not sure what indicators to look for when determining whether itll look good or not for the visuals.
