Hey guys i built my PC in the summer of '17 and i feel it is time to get a little upgrade. I'm thinking of upgrading the cpu and gpu and mobo to game at 144hz 2k or just 144hz 1080p. If you feel that no upgrade is necessary explain why. My budget is around 1.5-2k CAD dollars. I'm going to build mu first pc soon. Till now, i've been working on my 6 year old Dell inspiron 5547 and before that, i had a pre built PC for close to 12 years. I have watched pc building video, gaming pc videos, pc parts review etc etc. But, i'm still not sure if my specs are balanced. i'm building a Deep learning pc, which will be used for light gaming too. Is there a way/website where i can just put in my specs and it gives me a virtual benchmark, and possibly recommend parts for improvement.

I played fortnite, with all settings low except for viewing distance(epic) , on my campus gaming computer, with i7 8700k, 1080ti. It handles a stable 240fps, on the 244hz monitor. Can I still reach the same performance with lower tier cpu and gpu such as the i5's and anything below 1080ti.

Hello I'm trying to build a new computer and I need some help, this is the first time I'm going to build my own pc, the budget is about 18.000 DKK or about 2.000 USD, and is going to be built in Denmark. I'm mostly going to be using it for gaming. Included in the budget is a monitor, preferably a 144hz one, and another 60hz 1080p monitor on the side which i have from the old pc. I will also need Windows 10. These are my current thoughts. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3WDbsJ

It's no secret that we get absolutely #rekt down under. For example, using au.pcpartpicker.com, I came up with a build (Define Nano S, i7 6700k, ITX mobo, GTX1080) that costs $2,450.00 (AUD). Using the US pcpartpicker.com, I created the exact same build for $1,510.00 USD / $1,970 AUD. That's almost a $500 difference.. So, being new to PC Building, where is it recommended australians get our hardware from? Order from the US or suck it up and buy locally?

Hey all, i'm going to build a new computer and i am not sure about what parts i should pick. This is what i currently have in mind: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/C9Z7yc My budget is around ~1000 euros and i live in The Netherlands. Is there anything that i should change on this build? As i heard that my motherboard is a bit overkill and that a higher GPU would be better. I will be using the PC mainly for gaming and programming and probably streaming/recording in the future.

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Iceman12117/saved/3Pp4 This is the part list I'm open to hear any of your opinions good or bad.

Current build: CPU: i5-6600k 3.5-3.9GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB ROG STRIX RAM: 16GB Motherboard: ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G2, 80+ GOLD 550W Question: I'm contemplating the upgrade of my current PC for 4K gaming and potentially VR. Would I get away with just upgrading the graphics card to GTX 1080 or would I be better off doing a larger upgrade (e.g. new CPU, Motherboard and a newer graphics card) ?
-
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/dBPvWX I will primarily use this PC for gaming and would want at least 60 fps without having to reduce my setting much. Might also do some video editing. Budget is about 1050 USD this will be my first build so I accept all advice.
