So, I have a pc and it is placed in quite an awkward position. After staring at it and thinking of ways I can modify it or change it, I had a thought about rotating it. I am unsure if it will damage the psu if it is rotated by such. So, (without considering the wires and cables for psu and peripherals stuff as I am going to make a custom stand for it.) can I rotate my pc by 90° where the ports would be facing the ground.

Hi everyone I am really hoping you can help me with this problem as it is a weird one. Pc specs CPU: ryzen 5 3600x GPU: gtx 1660ti Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus x570 elite wifi 1x samsung 970 M.2 SSD(C:/ drive) 1x samsung 980 M.2 SSD 2x random Sata HDDs About a year ago I had my computer turn off unexpectedly and then when it turned back on it was only showing 1 of my M.2 SSDs and non of my sata drives would show either which is weird i think because both my ssds are m.2 on the Motherboard and only one is working. I tried to format them but there was nothing to format so I thought they were shot. I then tried looking at the bios and seeing if it reset some settings in there or anything but the drives showed up perfectly fine in the bios. I have since had about 3 completely fresh reinstalls of windows and have even upgraded to windows 11. Linked is a post I made on r/pcmr with some pictures and more information about a year ago with no comments sadly. I have even had a guy come look at it and he couldn't figure anything out either. I have since tried all of the drives in a known good pc and everything shows fine so I know they aren't bad. https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/s/pa5e5AmXQ6

So, I got this computer a while back and it has 2 m.2 slots (they are small) and the website says it is pcle 3.0 compatible Any chance I could hook up a rtx 3080 to it? I know a rtx 2080 would work with it, but will a 3080 still work with it? Amr5 website

I want to buy a PSU for my PC. I have a minimal budget of 30-45 dollars. My PC Specs: Processor: AMD RYZEN 5 3600 Mainboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max NVMe: Samsung EVO PLUS 500GB HDD: Seagate 3TB Graphic Card: Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 970 Extreme 4GD Monitor: LG 22MK600M UPS: Powerguard 1200VA I have picked two PSUs but when I looked at the tier list, found one at tier 6. The confusing fact is I heard Tier 5 is the last resort of a gaming rig. I want to play games and perform other tasks like browsing and emailing as well. The PSUs are as follows: Thermaltake Smart BM2 550W Semi-Modular Power Supply (Tier 6) Price - $45.83 Deepcool PK-D Series PK550D Non-Modular 550W 80 Plus Bronze Certified Black Power Supply (No Tier) - $43.33 What do you recommend?

So I have had my pc for a while, an i9 13900k and 4090 but recently it kept freezing, I did all the basic troubleshooting and nothing sorted it so i reinstalled windows now my rog strix motherboard won't connect to the Internet, I updated bios using USB, and still won't, tried ethernet cable, won't work, nothing wrong with router, everything else connected to it is fine, and since Windows requires an Internet connection to do practically anything I am stuck, any help is appreciated

We don't get why everyone thinks it's so off topic for a furry/kith other-hearted Animaloid human heart-type who does cinematography video editing and gaming to want to use 8k resolution to out do YouTube comprehension, it's a artistic design choice!!! 4k AV1 doesn't come close enough to looking real life!!!!!!!!! also we don't get how it is off topic for a PC of this class to have 128 GB DDR5 RAM, RTX**90 class GPU and a AMD Ryzen AM5 socket motherboard we just have higher expectations and standards than most people who are looking to build a PC here's what we do for gaming and editing so you can see what we are doing for a higher resolution than 4k because we are all transitioning to 8k in the coming years of 2024-2025 enjoy our stuff everyone!!!!!! That's our off topic rant about technology!!!

Budget (1550): Country: KSA **Sorry some of the prices in the links not in USA Dollars currency so if you see the price under 6000 SAR or س,ر that is OK, and sorry again about the confusion Hello guys, Can someone help me choose a gaming PC for my 10 years kid. Thank you

background: Purchased my Powerspec G472 from Microcenter (with 1 year warranty whether that makes me a sucker or not) and it has run perfectly fine aside from what *seemed* to be high temps (i now understand that’s just the 13900KF pulling lots of power) issue: ~3 weeks ago I use a motorized blower (nothing crazy powerful) to dust out my pc. Since then, I’ve been receiving completely random black screens. If that holds any relation to the issue I have no clue, but it was my first time cleaning it out and had no issues prior. “The computer rebooted from a bugcheck. Error code: 0x00000139 Kernel_Security_Check_Failure” solutions attempted: - ran windows memory test with 0 flaws - fully reset windows (via settings) - reinstalled graphics drivers - brought to Microcenter their diagnostics said all hardware was functioning as intended i paid $100 for them to reimage windows Picked up the computer from Microcenter tonight, and played about 3 hours before it crashed again with the same error code. The longest it’s gone without crashing was 2 days in the last ~3 weeks. Do I try my luck at Microcenter again or screw the warranty and go somewhere else? Absolutely any advice on this will be monumental as this has become a major thorn in my side.

As the title suggest I bought a second hand turret and it came without the charger. I've had it just laying around my room without being able to use or charge it. Does anyone know how and where I can find a replacement charger? Or am I out of luck with my purchase. (I tried contacting razer support and they didn't help me at all because the model is coming to "end of cycle")

I've read that XLR to USB cables lower quality, so I guess we discard USB, right? But then... title

Hello, so I’ve currently been having an issue with my pc , i9 13900k , rtx 4070.. Rog strix z790 e gaming wifi MOB.. 64gb of 6000mhz ddr5 Corsair rgb ram.. I’ve had my pc built for less than a year maybe 6 months , and it used to run perfectly… recently non of my games can launch … apex legends … csgo2….need for speed heat etc… they basically open up the anti cheat screen than when it launches the game it’ll just close to windows or it won’t even launch the game … I’ve done a factory reset through windows by wiping my files and resetting windows .. I’ve also went along to try updating my bios on my MOB to current updated bios … hoping that it would just reset my bios to default if there may have been anything I miss tweaked when clocking XMP on originally when I’d built the pc… but with the reset from the bios update it clocked my ram speeds to 4400mhz (default speeds) no XMP enabled … and well it’s still crashing my games completely… could it maybe be my psu? I had an issue before where when updating my gpu drivers … it basically like powered my whole computer off after the update … and my psu had no power for like 10 minutes no lights on or nothing n I was thinking my pc completely fried .. but it had turned on shortly after n I was able to power my pc … so could it maybe be a faulty psu not able to reach certain volts or? Could it be fault gpu ? Or just a setting ? I need help I spent way to much on this pc for it to be acting this way in a short period of time.
