Requirements - 1) 8 HDD space 2) should be able to use AIO with 240 or 360 radiator when 8 HDD are mounted and are in use. 3) motherboard I am gonna use is ASUS DARK HERO. Case I am considering right now is 1) fractal's meshify 2 xl (bcuz of it's modularity) Q)can I have fans (noctua) on front mesh while 8 HDDs are mounted + an AIO of 360mm length on top panel (inside the case ofcourse) or do I have to remove those fans if I have to mount 8 HDDs? Q) which AIO do u recommend if I want a screen on it which can show CPU,GPU temps? Thanks you very much in advance.

I have divorced parents so I need to be able to transport a PC from house to house if I get one, I was thinking of buying the ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 Mid-Tower Computer Case but I am unsure if something in my PC will break will in the car.

I've ordered a 3080 a while back and I'm waiting for it like many of you. I'm planning to retire my old Thermaltake PC case. The case was very practical and had a ton of airflow, alas it was quite bulky and honestly, not that pretty. I'm looking for a new PC case, I don't really have a budget, but I don't want to go beyond 250€ this pretty much opens up all kinds of cases. One of the conditions is it must have a Full side window, with tempered glass. I also don't mind white cases, on some models I actually prefer them. RGB is a "nice to have" for me, but defenitly not a must (My current case is just blue LED's, the option to swap colors is nice to have) Currently this is what I'm looking for in a case in order: 1. Aestetics: Right now it doesn't matter how practical a case is, if I don't like the looks I won't buy it, since looks are objective i like cases like "Corsair carbide spec omega (white)" or the "Asus ROG STRIX Helios (black)" 2. Airflow: Less important to me now (I live in a much cooler country then I did when I bought my thermaltake) however any case that makes it impossible for fans to move air (IE tempered glass fronts) are a big no. 3. Removable dust filters: Yea I'm a lazy person, and for that reason I love magnetic dust filters Current cases I'm currently interested in: - Sharkoon Elite Shark CA200M/CA300T: Like the look and feel of these cases but there are hardly any reviews on these models - Asus TUF GT501: I like the look of this case, especially in white, however at it's price point I ask myself if there are better alternatives - Asus ROG STRIX helios: This one would pair well my my STRIX mobo, I love the look, but I feel like the front panel restricts airflow, and LED fans would probably upset the lighting on the Glass Cases I'm no longer interested in: - Corsair carbide spec omega: To me an amazing looking case, however airflow is an issue with nearly no mesh for air to pass through - Corsair Graphite 780T: This is a great case, but the plastic side cover is very off putting, and the case is too "flexible" (like the thin metal flexes too much) Suggestions are really welcome

I really like the look of Slim ITX builds, like cases the size of a console or the MSI Trident 3 (even though its a prebuilt PC I really like the case). If anyone could find me a slim ITX case that is similar that would be great. My budget for it would be no more than $150 AUD.

Hello everyone, So recently I bought a few extra harddrives and I ran out of space in my case so I am looking for a new PC case and I don't know where to even start looking for cases. I need at least 4 harddrive bays with more being preferable, I would like to have a mesh front panel, and I don't have a lot of money so I need something that is afforable but also good quality. Thanks.

Hi there! I'm working on a build for a friend. He plans to take his pc regularly along his travels - - - 1000km every other month by car. I was thinking to add expansive foam bags so the pc doesn't suffer too much. He wants a big tower for convenient and minimal cleaning without fancy rgb stuff. I need advice on the choice of the case, are there any good cases with handles and advanced filtering systems that dont hinder airflow too much ? Lian-li has nice cases but they're too small. Other models that seem interresting are : - The VENGEANCE® C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Case - Mastercase 5 by Coolermaster (the handles look w e a k!) - ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 Mid-Tower Case (not a fan of the tempered glass...) - Cereberus X (expensive but fracking neat edit: from EU... case + shipping = 400€ thats too much..) Another point would be the cooling. I'm hesitant about watercooling in general, and in the context of frequent moving even more. Should I go for watercooling regardless or stick with good ol' noctua for the sake of peace of mind...? The core components will be: Ryzen 9 7950X Rtx 3090 32gb DDR5 5600 mhz corsair vengeance (the only affordable ddr5?!) Seasonic gx 850w Motherboard: X670 but idk what manufacturer..

So I finally found the pc case I've been looking for after a long time but surprise surprise, it's only compatible with mini atx's and micro atx motherboards which suck because my minds set on the parts I want along with the case motherboard wise and I was so set on the case because it's a really pretty case and for a great price too. Is there any way to convert a pc case to fit a motherboard of larger size?
-
So i wanted to find a retro look pc case. maybe a 90s style, but i want to easily throw in a modern motherboard. atk or mini atx anything works. I just don´t wanna mod the case any more than panting it an off white.

Hi. I need help -- never built a PC before. I'm planning to buy a Lian Li Lancool 215 case for a new PC. It will house the Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard I got from my friend's old PC. The case I'm eyeing for includes a fan hub where the included aRGB fans are connected. I looked at the case's manual, and from what I understood, one of the wires of the hub must be plugged in to the mobo's aRGB header, which (I think) would be a problem because the mobo only has an RGB header, not an aRGB one. I'm probably misunderstanding something. Please let me know what I should do.

Hello everyone. So basically, I need a GPU for my system since I'm a CG Artist. I know for my profession I should be getting a High-End Machine but this is all I could arrange. I got Dell Optiplex 3080 Tower for free. My budget was quite low but now that I have saved money by having this machine, I'm planning to upgrade it with RTX 3060 Ti and of course a new Power Supply. So... Problems that I might face: - Room not enough for new GPU and PSU (Attached images for reference) - Bottleneck? i5 10505 and RTX 3060 Ti. - Is motherboard good enough? (I'm assuming with this build comes Q470 i.e. PCIE Gen 3.0 and x24 PCI Express lanes What's the best solution that I should go? I'm mostly worried about the bottlenecking here. Cuz for the bigger room for GPU I can get a PC case and for the GPU's power demand, the PSU. It's the processor and the motherboard here that worries me the most. My current configuration specs: - i5 10th Gen 10505 (6C,12T) https://www.intel.in/content/www/in/en/products/sku/201891/intel-core-i510505-processor-12m-cache-up-to-4-60-ghz/specifications.html - Intel Q470 Motherboard https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/201836/intel-q470-chipset.html - 24 GB RAM DDR4 @ 2666MHz (16+8) - Standard 260W Bronze PSU (Of course I can't use this) Images credits: https://www.youtube.com/c/xianece1/featured

Hi, I need a replacement piece for my desktop's front panel. I've attached pictures with measurements. If you have a 3D printer and are bored and kind enough to make and send this part, you would be a PC building hero.

Hi, I just finish building a new PC with the following specs: CPU: Ryzen 3600x MB: MSI B450-A PRO RAM: HyperX dual Channel (2x8) 3000GHz Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 206 0 WINDFORCE OC 6G PSU: Thermaltake Smart SE 530W Case: DeepCool GamerStorm 310p The case has a top mash panel but a solid front panel (which has very small intake airflow if I put the 3 fans from the front on intake mode). Right now the fan set-up is the following: 3 intake in front, 1 exhaust in the back and two exhaust on the top. In order to maximize the airflow I was thinking: 1. either changing one of the fans on the top to intake and moving it as much as I can to the front of the top panel 2. or just switch both the top fans to intake and maybe the front fans to exhaust. Not sure if it makes any sense (this is my first build) but because there is little space in the front of the case I don't think I have enough intake. Thank you!

Hi! I'm looking for a new cabinet, I'm currently using a Corsair Carbide Clear 400C Midi Tower with my Corsair Hydro H100 mounted in the front. I used to have it installed in the top but I ran into a issue of clearance between the fans/radiator and my G.Skill TridentZ RAM. I've been looking at a lot of different cases such as be quiet Dark base 700 (actually most of be quiet's cases), Fractal Define (R5/R6/7) and some others, but the issue with all of them seems to be that in order to get the extra 3.5 HDD space the cases offer, I'd need to mount my radiator(+fans) at the top, where, as far as I can see, will run into the same issue as I have with my current Carbide Clear 400C case, (not enough space to fit both RAM and fans). I'd prefer to have around 5-6 3.5" mounting options but 4 could do, in terms of style I'd like it to look similar to the ones above, they're kinda square (ish) with a tempered glass window. In terms of price I'm somewhere around 220 USD / 309 CAD / 201 EURO I have also considered changing over to the Noctua NH-D15 but I'd rather not have to shell out the extra money when I already have a functional cooler. Appreciate your time and any help!

Just wanted to start this so I could ask. Who actually likes all matte black PC cases? If so, why do you all like them? Also would love to know everyone's favorite PC case and why. Doing a bit of research for Class. Thanks!!!

I found a pretty nice RGBW (Red, Green, Blue, White) LED strip on my house. I really want to put it into my PC case since it looks empty and dark. The only light in the case is from the case fans and the little Gigabyte logo on the GPU. I have an external fan hub/controller connected via SATA from the PSU with a remote to control the fan speed, brightness, and to cycle through different colour modes. It has more empty fan headers in it and I want to connect the LED strip to one of the headers. This would mean that I can turn the fans and the strip off with the remote that came with it. P.S. - My PSU also has extra molex connectors if that helps... I have attached pictures of the fan hub, connections already with the fan hub (the red cable has a female SATA on the other end which is connected to an empty SATA cable from my PSU and the black ones are the fan cables), the remote and also the LED strip.

Hi, I'm from New Zealand and I want to buy an mATX build. However, there's only one problem... prices. NZ prices are off the roof and the cases are horrible, and when I find something on amazon the shipping is literally over $200. So, I was just wondering, if there are any websites out there for PC cases that are somewhat affordable? thanks

Hi everyone, I just finished building my new PC. I've build a few others before but this time I've had a problem. It wont boot at all. All the components are brand new. I was thinking it could be the front panel connectors on my case (nzxt h510) because they have a block. There is a adapter which splits it off into the individual connectors. I am running a b450 tomahawk max and was wondering if it was the front panel block which was causing a problem

Hello, Im looking for a pc case that costs a max of $150AUD that has tempered glass, is under 45cm tall and supports micro atx. Im going for a black white and blue case as my rig is called igloo. It also has to be able to easily send tube out of the case as my liquid cooling is external. Thank you -Coop

I'm building a new pc, and looking at £20-30 cases with a relatively clean look and a decent side panel. If i had a little more money (or could squeeze it into the budget) i could buy a case like the versa h15 or better. If i had even more, i would get the nzxt source 340. Is it worth trying to squeeze these into my budget just for aesthetics and (maybe) better radiator support? Also is it hard to upgrade your case to something nicer? I was looking at this case https://www.cclonline.com/product/225388/CIT-DARKSTAR/Cases/CiT-Dark-Star-Midi-Tower-Case-with-120mm-Blue-LED-Rear-Fan-Side-Window-Black-/CAS2893/ but will the psu shroud cause issues with only 2 cable management holes? I would be using the corsair cx450m?
