So as part of a current project i am attempting to build a pc in a old xbox 360 E case. The problem i am having is that i found online this PSU called HDPLEX 400W Hi-Fi DC-ATX and wondered if i need another part as this is just one of many parts i can see on their website. Just wondering if this is the best possible small form factor PSU. Any help is appreciated and suggestions are welcome.

Budget (including currency): 320$ / 35,000 ৳ Country: BD Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: My main purpose for the upgrade is for heavy internet usage, for browsing/surfing on internet.Streaming videos and playing online games on websites like lichess/chess.com for long hours. Other details: My Current component's got very old & recently I have been experiencing much lags and occasional freezes while using the internet, hence i'm planning to upgrade. Existing parts lists : My Current 1TB HDD & PSU, I will add them with the new parts, which i'm planning to buy.Below is a list of them. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G SSD: 256GB M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe Internal SSD "For keeping & upgrading to OS only." Not sure yet which to OS to choose from (Win 11/10 64-bit)? My current OS: WIN 7 64 bit. MOTHERBOARD: Biostar B550MX/E PRO or Biostar B550MXC PRO? RAM: Twinmos TornadoX6 : 1 stick of 8GB DDR4 3200MHz U-DIMM Black Desktop RAM with Heatsink. "I am considering changing my RAM after learning about the term "Dual Rank". I think that my current RAM is only "Single Rank", which i guess will not provide me with the best optimum performance, according to what I have read online. However,I'm still unsure about which Ram should i go for. Or should i just buy it and get another stick of 8GB DDR4 Ram of the same type to get the best performance?" The reasons for choosing my motherboards types were, they have some features like ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Protection. Which i believe will protect against frequent ongoing power cuts,as I face power cuts quite often. "My current mobo ASUSTeK Computer INC (P5G41T-M/USB3) has an Anti-surge protection which has been working well for me for over 10 years now." OC / OV / OH Protection VGA port for supporting my old Led monitor. Which only Biostar B550MX/E PRO has. For B550MXC PRO,i can buy a HDMI converter. If it's gonna be better than MX/E PRO. Trying to figure out all of these terminologies related to Mobo & RAM,which lead me to dig deeper about different terms and types of Ram. Like "Single Rank/Double Rank/Quad Rank.Single & Double channels," along with some motherboard specs like RAID (still no idea what it does) or whether it is even important for me. I literally got my brain fried up i.e mentally exhausted.. I hope someone can help me out with these components. Should i change the RAM to Dual Rank? And which motherboard between those two, will be better for me considering the components for giving out the best performance.

Hello friends and welcome to this year's first PC mod/build. "Green Prime" is started. It is a modification of the Asus AP201 case with a glass side. In addition to the idea of filling this little one with strong hardware and cooling, the idea is that instead of the current horizontal position of this case, I will make changes so that it stands vertically and give everything my own style and design. Thank you for following my work again, stay tuned! Budget (including currency): no more than 9000 PLN (that's polish zloty) Country: Poland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly as a home media and entertainment center, for gaming I'd say BG3, Jedi Survivor, Hogwarts legacy, Witcher3, GOW etc. As for others just for movies, some light excel work, web browsing, music Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm upgrading from quite an old pc, this veteran kept me company for what seems like forever, but sadly my i5-2500k and 8gb of ddr3 ram are no longer viable in almost any gaming use. I upgraded the storage to a 500gb Samsung 860 evo and graphics card to a GTX 1660 Super. I'm planning on keeping my SSD and HDD the SSD will be a dedicated windows drive and the HDD will be for backup and media. I also plan to keep my sound card Creative Labs Sound Blaster Z SE but if it wont fit I'll change it for something like an external dac (Creative Sound Blaster X3) As for displays I'm torn between a 27" and 32" 1440p 144hz monitor. The only caveat is that I'm planning on building a mATX pc as space is not a luxury I have This is what I've gathered after some research: CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 949,00 zł MOBO – Gigabyte B650M GAMING X AX 819,00 zł RAM – G.SKILL 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL32 Flare X5 AMD EXPO 539,00 zł GPU – Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT PURE 16GB GDDR6 2749,00 zł or ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 DUAL OC 12GB GDDR6X 3099,00 zł SSD – Samsung 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe 980 PRO 399,00 zł PSU – ENDORFY Supremo FM5 850W 80 Plus Gold 499,00 zł CPU cooling – Deepcool AG620 2x120mm 259,00 zł Case – DarkFlash DLM21 Mesh White 219,00 zł Display – LG Ultragear 27GP850 NanoIPS 1649,00 zł or Lenovo Legion Y27h-30 1699,00 zł or LG 32GP850-B NanoIPS 1949,00 zł Of course all will run on Windows, probably win 11. These parts come to approx 8200 pln I'd be really grateful for any suggestions

Budget (including currency): $550-600 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite,GTA V, GTA VI (when it releases) possibly streaming or recording. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have a 100HZ monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse. I am going to buy from Amazon and build it myself or if someone has a good prebuilt in my budget range. I play Fortnite at 1811x1060. Need someone to give me parts or a prebuilt. Need a MB with Ethernet support, with USB Type A and Type C.

Budget (including currency): 1900 € Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I play games like fortnite, but also sometimes some AAA titles or some retro games. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc.): I have a planned build : https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/4L2LC6 I already have all my peripherals. I am upgrading from a gaming laptop with an intel core i7-10870h and a RTX 3060. I plan on buying it around April next year. I plan on playing 1080p and maybe 1440p later on, at 165hz or 144hz. I just wanted to ask for advice if anything is quite unbalanced or if I'm wasting my money on something. Some of the prices are set, because a friend is going to sell me these parts at that price. I am upgrading because my current computer can handle most things I do, but in some games I get frame drops, and generally not enough frames to use my monitor. I plan on running it with 2–3 screens, one main for gaming, one for dc and one for obs or something like that. I plan on keeping that new PC for 2–3 years, so if you think that some parts won't hold up that long, please tell me. Thanks for any answers.

A few days ago i built a pc using second hand components and new components. My budget was around 480€ to build a pc. I got a msi 1080 ti for ( 170€ ) Gigabyte z370 hd3, including i5 9400f, including 16 gb 2400 ddr4 and fan ( 150€ ) I spent around 40€ on case and 55€ on shakroon bronze power supply and 40€ on - 480 gb ssd. the rest spend on delivery costs. When playing games my gpu usage sits around 30-40 while my cpu is at 80% or more. I believe i bottlenecked my pc and the frames are underwhelming to say the least. is there anyway i can get more performance out of my pc

Budget (including currency): 1,600 AUD Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for Valorant, Apex Legends, Minecraft and Fortnite Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already own all the accessories for a PC including a monitor keyboard and mouse. I already own a PC but it is a cheap pre-built I bought in 2020, so I have decided to start from scratch and build my first-ever PC. I want the PC to be preferably white but will settle on black if it drastically improves performance. I am also planning to buy this build in a couple of months once i saved up the rest of the money. I already messaged PC HEREOS and this is the build he suggested https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/QCm7GP, I just wanted to see second opinions and whether or not there is a better build for the price point.

Budget (including currency): $1500 USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite, Geometry Dash, Minecraft (would like to play around with shaders), GTA V, Emulation, and 1080p video editing. Existing Parts List: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X $218.89 CPU Cooler: Deepcool AK400 ZERO DARK $39.99 Motherboard: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard $179.99 Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory $122.99 Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive $87.44 Video Card: NVIDIA Founders Edition GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB Video Card $599.99 Case: Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB ATX Mid Tower Case $119.99 Additional Rear Exhaust Fan: Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE 47.7 CFM 120 mm Fan $19.98 Power Supply: Corsair RM850x (2021) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $129.99 Total: $1519.24 I don't necessarily want the maximum performance possible for my budget. For this build, I want to focus on stability and quality components. I went Ryzen because the LGA1700 socket has contact pressure issues, and AM5 will be getting new CPUs for a while. I went Nvidia over AMD for GSYNC and better driver stability. I want absolutely zero screen tearing and I'll eventually pick up a GSYNC monitor down the line. I have a couple specific concerns with the parts I've chosen. -Will the Deepcool AK400 be adequate for cooling? I hear Ryzen runs hot and I want plenty of headroom on the cooling side. -Is the RAM I've selected adequate to hit the "sweet spot" for Ryzen? - I'm not entirely set on my motherboard choice. Mainly I'm looking for a built in I-O shield, enough USB ports for the front IO of the case, and overall stability. WiFi 6 or newer would be nice so I don't have to buy a card. Don't need any peripherals as of now. I plan to slowly upgrade those later. I'm upgrading from a Dell prebuilt with a Core i7 2600 and a GTX 1050. I plan on buying in the next few months to wait out potential deals (especially for motherboards, I'm not set on any specific brand). Any help or advice is appreciated!

Amazon link https://www.amazon.in/hz/wishlist/ls/2YJNR4QZ4YWLD?ref_=wl_share Budget (including currency): 1300 USD or 102,000 Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: RDR2 , Far cry 6 , GTA 6, light editing, handbrake compression Other details He was planning to build a 2000+ USD Computer which I highly discouraged. He thinks sometimes that cpu are advancing at the same rate they were before ryzen . I also told him to changed his processor from i7 13th gen to i5 13600k to i5 13400 to finally i5 12400. Gpu will be either 4060 new or 3070 used but he is more leaned towards the new 4060. Also the reason I didn't went in ryzen 7600 because it's price increased by almost 100 US dollars.

Budget (including currency): 1100 EUR Country: Germany. Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: WRC and Dirt Rally is my main area of interest. But I would like play other games like Cyberpunk, CS GO also if my upcoming PC have the ability to so. Other workloads will be day to day activities like YouTube, watch football (Soccer) and other live streaming (WAN show mainly ). Also I'd like to do some streaming in twitch, I have an inactive account (but again if the PC have the ability for this) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So a colleague of mine, racing games enthusiast is upgrading to a proper racing sim setup ( PC alone is 2000+ EUR) so he gave me an offer that if want, I could get his 2 year old gaming pc with all peripherals. I will try to list the components here: 2 Monitors - MSI MSI Optix G24C4 Curved 23,6 Zoll Full-HD Gaming Monitor (144 hz) - iiyama G-Master Black Hawk GE2288HS-B1 54.7 cm (21.5 Inch) PC - Motherboard is MSI 550BP Gaming plus. - CPU is Ryzen7 3700X. - Graphics Card is AMD 5700XT Gygabite Aorus 8gb DDR6. - RAM is 32gb G-SKILL 4x8gb. - 2x SSD (1x M2. and the other one is normal SSD no HDD) 500GB each. - Power unit is LUX gold plus 750W. Racing Accessors - Thrustmaster TX racing wheel with force feedback (Don't know the actual model, its with Ferrari logo and paddle shifter) - Thrustmaster T3PA Triple Pedal Sets all the above mentioned components was offered for me at a price of 750 EUR. additional to this i'm planning to buy one additional MSI MSI Optix G24C4 Curved 23,6 Zoll Full-HD Gaming Monitor (144 hz) costs 139 EUR in black friday deal. which brings a total of 889 EUR. In the remaining budget I want to buy a keyboard and mouse, and a headset with mic. Also would like to know If its a worth deal considering I'm really new to PC gaming? What possible upgrades can I do in future to this existing setup? Is this machine good enough for WRC and other racing games as well as streaming? Thanks in advance for your responses

Budget (including currency): Around 3000$ at most Country: Switzerland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I plan on dual booting Arch Linux and Windows, where Arch is my main daily driver and windows a fallback for games and software that simply cannot be made functional with say proton or wine under Linux. Primarily plan on using it for running devtools like Intellij/compiling software from the AUR and gaming. Most recently been playing games like Minecraft (Both vanilla and heavily modded), Sea of Thieves, It takes two but want to leave the option open to be able to play most games at a solid 60 frames. Ideally I want to be able to spend a bunch of money now and be set for like a solid 8-10+ years with no major upgrades required. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tHhm34 I've made a rough parts list already which covers around what I want but am unsure about compatibility details like space inside the case itself and whether or not my picks for cooling, memory and motherboard especially make sense. I would really like to use the fractal north case and onboard wifi would be a nice convenience to have. For storage I'm looking into having two M2 SSDs, one for windows the other for linux and then just getting a larger hard drive to store miscellaneous files between both. Looking to possibly take advantage of black friday deals so I might end up making small adjustments if it makes sense but I'm more looking to get a list of general stuff together now for compatibility & what to expect. I'm upgrading from a build with an Intel i5-7500 and a Radeon RX 480 with 24gb of ram, so this will be quite the jump in specs

Help me choose a processor that fits or that is compatible with my gpu, also can someone suggest a good budget aircooler with it as well! hopefully can support 240+ fps on cs2 I currently have, ryzen 5 3600 rtx 3050 16gb ram 650watt psu

Budget (including currency): £2500-3000 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cities Skylines 2, F12023, World of Tanks, Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Couple years ago, I built myself a high end PC which includes Ryzen 9 5950X, ASUS STRIX 3080ti, G-SKILL 64gb DDR4 2 x 32 3600. And minor things like a asus strix b550 MB and a 1TB Samsung 970 NVME and A Samsung 870 evo SSD 2TB. So basically, I am over this winter gonna be building the most top end PC I can have currently and something that be more than enough for like the next 3-5 years. 4K Gaming 144hz currrently but may upgrade monitor to like a 2 or 3 screen set up with same or better refresh rate but that is a nice to have in the future and not part of my budget. I am using the storage and PSU (Corsair HX1200 Platinum 1200 W 80+ Platinum) from my current set up Below gonna attach screenshots of my build specs on PC Part Picker currently it around £3100 but got that little flex around budget wise. Simply put is the following build specs CPU: Intel 14900KF CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler 420MM MB: MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Dominator Titanium 96 GB (4 x 24 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory Additional Storage: Western Digital Black SN850X 4TB NVME SSD (Just looking for a little extra storage until I can sort out a NAS as looking for around 10TB of Back Up Storage seperate to PC along with sotring my stuff in the cloud) GPU: XFX Speedster MERC 310 Black Edition Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB (Like Linus, I avoiding Nvidia 40 series just because of how Nvdiai is etc.... Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO XL ATX Full Tower Case Fans: 3 sets of Lian Li Uni Fan SL 70.5 CFM 140 mm Fans 2-Pack Because this case can support upto 11 fans (8 exlcuding the 420mm AIO) The AIO Going on top then 6 140mm Fans for bottom and the top/side Along with the same type of fan but a 120mm for the back of the case. Ideally I like this build to have RGB, want something that gonna be solid for the forseable future and handle any games and just be a beast. Want the PC to have really good airflow and with the AIO, I want to have no issues with thermals. I am unsure on the RAM as it DDR5 and I am new to Intel as a whole, so advice is appreciated. Also look advice on any additional connectors I need to ensure everything from the fans to the case is all hooked up. I am relatviely good at cable management and will likely spend hours to ensure everything is all nice and tidy, that little OCD I got with things. Upgrading GPU and CPU: Strix RX480 8GB OC > > > TUF RX7800XT Ryzen 7 2700X > > > Ryzen 9 5900X 16GB DDR4 > > > 32GB DDR4 (Kingston Fury) Currently have a Cooler Master B600 600W PSU and I'll need a new one for the RX 7800XT, 850W is recommended (minimum 750W but I'd rather have extra room), but of course I'm looking to get the most reliable PSU for the least money I can. I would probably go with any Cooler Master 850W 80+ Gold but they're above my budget (unless everything else available would be a bad choice), currently have these few picked out as options and I'm interested in opinions and open to suggestions (just keep the suggestions in this or similar price range - Be Quiet 850W System Power 10 BN330 80+ Gold - Gigabyte GP-P850GM 80+ Gold - LC Power 1000W LC1000M V2.31 80+ Gold - MSI 850W MPG A850GF 80+ Gold - Gigabyte 1000W GP-UD1000GM 80+ Gold These 5 are placed in ascending price order, around 42 euros in difference from BeQuiet and Gigabyte 1000W with the rest in between Another 2 options are - Corsair RM850x 850W V2 80+ Gold (priced somewhere in the middle of the first 5) - Cooler Master Cooler Master MWE 80+ Bronze V2 MPE-7501-ACABW-BEU 750W - cheapest on this list (but I would still go with 850W) Thanks in advance

Budget (including currency): 1600-1800 EUR Country: Greece Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly any MMORPG (WoW, FFXIV, GW2 etc) while being able to run 2-3 instances of said games and watching youtube/movies on a second monitor. Upgrading from: Ryzen 5 1600, Asus Rog Strix B350-F Gaming, 2x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3600, Gigabyte GeForce GTX1060 6GB Windforce OC, Corsair CX Series CX650M 650W, Be Quiet Dark Rock 4, NZXT S340 Elite. Monitors: 1x BenQ 24" 1080p 60hz 1x Samsung 24" 1080p 60hz (I don't remember the model for either unfortunately) Upgrade Reasons: It's been a long time since I built this rig as you can tell from the parts and it started showing it's age a lot recently, I have to compromise a lot on the graphics to get some decent fps and it gets annoying. Goal: My main goal is to get a decent upgrade within my cash range and with some things in mind: 1. I want it to be somewhat power efficient. Electricity bills are a huge pain where I live so I'd like something that doesn't require my personal factory to power it. 2. I don't plan to upgrade anytime soon in the next 5 years so something that would last as long as my current rig would be great. If I would also have to upgrade a GPU later on but save everything else that would be fine too. 3. Other game titles are not really my priority, it wouldn't hurt to be able to play some Cyberpunk now and then but I finished it on my trusty 1060 so I can handle playing it on a low res. Current and future MMOs are my priority. 4. I don't have a preference for a CPU and GPU brand, whatever is cost and power efficient and pairs well with each other is good enough for me. Other details: Storage wise I'll keep my current ssds for now (1x NVMe Samsung and 3x Samsung sata 250GB, 500GB and 1TB). I'm also looking to upgrade my monitors on a later date (Not to be included on the current budget) but I'm not sure what options would be better. Should I aim for 1080p 144hz or go for 1440p 144hz? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated! I don't have any build prepared because I've been so out of touch with any recent releases and I didn't know where to begin.
