Hi, I want to download windows xp professional 64 bit on virtual box, but when I look on the web for some sites that can offer it it looks sketchy I don't want no malware on my laptop does anyone here know any legit site where I can get it? Thanks.

Hi, i have pc with a : b350 gaming plus MSI GTX 1060 1x nvme 2TB my story (lol) : i juste try go in my bios and i see i can't, i test all technic but nothing . so i upgrade my windows 10 versions and after that nothing work. i try to go on bios, not work . i try to boot on windows , not work . at this time i don't know what can i do . i need your help . thank's to read me .

So, i have this system for 2 years now: ryzen 2600X, b450m pro m2, 16gb ddr4 3000mhz RAM (gskill), RX570, SSD(w10 is on a mp150 corsair, and 2 cheap ssd) and western digital green 2tb; and a few days ago i notice that the discord closed by himself, i minimized only, and i couldn't open it agian, i link a video with an example (in the video i close discord with task manager, but this happend after a minutes of open the program or a few seconds). From my experience (i study administration of system on net)i discard a possible hardware fail (i can play Tarkov, Astroneer, LOL with no crash), so NO CPU UNESTABILITY OR SIMILAR, no drivers problems (drive of rx570 was like 2 moths ago, but the others were not update, and didn't give me problem).The only new thing i did before the problems i had, was installing https://blitz.gg/, all the days before that was normal and working right, i had the w10 update from ¿2 weeks ago or a month?, so thats was probably the problem, and i tried to uninstall it and nothing change (so i dont think if that could made changes on the OS and disrupt somenthing??). I tried this line on the powershell, Get-AppxPackage | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}, but this is more focus for w10 propietary apps (cortana, and thoes things), but it didn't work. I don't know whats happening, i can use discord web, but why MEGA destokp app (the cloud storage), or the amd radeon drivers appers to be on, why chrome works??, or BirtualVox works,... Ithink it's something about the apps that work or have some task in background, that crash. I don't know if this is a bug of my version of w10, w10 home 20H2 with the last update KB4592438, i had this w10 for 4 moths (i am trying to explain thats not the last w10 version, the one where control panel start to not have the same significance as the options), my PSVersion is 5.1.19041.610. Summary: programs in background or similar, don't start or work, i try to restart, uninstall, update,... Nothing work, but other apps work fine. Idon't know if i have expressed my self correctly, and sorry for my english or grammatical errors, i will chek this post tomorrow (its 2:30am), and i am on the LTT discord server. -
Hello. I was wondering if there is any way to delete one of my windows os’s. One of them got corrupted and it is annoying to have this screen on startup. And the files from the other os still take up space. Thanks! Edit: Hey, i fixed this by completely wiping everything on my ssd because most of my old windows files are on there. There is still some cleaning up to do, but I got it for the most part.

Hiya everyone, I have here a conundrum, I have an old Sony Vaio laptop running an Intel dual-core processor from the Merom architecture (yes that old). It has 2Gb of DDR2 RAM (again that old) and a 200Gb HDD. It still runs well, and I plan to turn it into a Media PC (mainly to play movies & music, and maybe Youtube if it can connect to the net). Currently, it still runs Windows Vista and my question is "can it support Windows 10 or should I install Windows 7 or 8 instead?" I'm already in the process of doing some much needed maintenance (thermal paste & HDD replacement and dust removal) to get some extra use out of it. Any tips and advice will be appreciated and thank you in advance.

I just installed an old version of windows on an old pc [ i3 3220, 4gb 1333mhz ddr 2 ] because I don't have any new installation devices i made one very long ago and now i have the problem of windows update So my question is whether windows updates are stacked or do i have to download the latest feature update only.

So I bought a new ssd (Kingston Q500 240GB) today and I custom installed windows 10 on it. But when I tried to make it boot drive from bios, I noticed my bios didn't detect the ssd. I was able to boot in ssd via windows boot manager but not through bios. Then I connected the ssd SATA cable to slot 0 on motherboard and my HDD to slot 1. Now my bios is detecting the SSD(isn't detecting HDD now) and I can select it as a boot drive but when I do so, I get "Reboot and select proper boot device. Insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" error. Again it boots in SSD via windows boot manager smoothly, but this is a long process and defeats the purpose of SSD. Can you guys suggest any fix?

So I finished building my computer and I am trying to boot a USB that has the windows media creation tool but it doesn't do anything the screen just flashes and it is like nothing happened. When I try to boot with anything else I get a orange screen with white vertical lines. There is no way to boot to anything else. I have the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon and My CPU is the Ryzen 7 3700X.

Hi all, I just upgraded my Cpu, mobo and ram (and cooler), and when i go to boot the BIOS does recognize the drives, but it doesn't give me any valid boot options. 240gb drive has fedora 36 and the 500gb drive has Windows 10. I booted from both as late as yesterday, so the installs should be fine. Both the drives are SATA. My old system was Z97-based, the new setup is with the H610M-A-chipset. (Mobo: Asus Prime H610M-A Wifi D4) Also, i inspected the partitions with a live Fedora USB - they seem fine. Any tips on how I may 'activate' them somehow?

Motherboard: Gigabyte G1.Sniper B6 GPU: nvidia 660 CPU: Intel i7 So I bought this computer and after some troubleshooting got it working. It was working for about a month, and suddenly it’s stopped booting the OS (Windows 10). I’ll get stuck on a black screen with the windows logo and the spinning dots (dots will freeze, computer is frozen), or the “Windows had a problem and will now restart” blue screen, but nothing happens. I’ve tried unplugging the start drive and booting from the original Windows install flash drive I had, but that didn’t work either. Hey, I've been having issues for a while when it comes to installing Ubuntu, Raspberry Pi OS, Kali Linux, etc. and I'm starting to think that it's my computer's BIOS that is restricting it, but this is my first time installing an OS of any kind on another PC so I really have no clue. Every time I am able to boot into GRUB and such, but for some reason it doesn't continue from there. At some points (when loading from ISO) it gives me "GRUB loading. Welcome to GRUB!" while it also gives me just "GRUB" when loading from DD (all from Rufus terminology). USB: SanDisk Ultra 3.0 128gb PC (installing Ubuntu on): Old Dell from 2007 or something (idk the model) ... 32 bit, Intel CPU, 256gb HDD, 2gb DDR2 SDRAM, BIOS: Dell BIOS 1.0.15 Disk Imager: Rufus, Raspberry Pi Imager, balenaEtcher Here's what I've tried (from tutorials and StackOverflow, etc.): - Switching USB ports - Formatting the HDD in the system - Trying different file formats on the USB - Using different OS's - Testing each on Oracle VirtualBox (they work, perfectly) So this led me to believe there was some sort of setting in my BIOS (Dell BIOS 1.0.15) that is not letting me continue to booting into Ubuntu. Please help :) -
Hey peeps, my brother recently bought a new laptop with these specs: lenovo ideapad 3 Windows 10 i7-10510U 20GB RAM mx130 gpu 1TB nvme 1TB hdd So the problem we r having is that it is unbelievably slow for these specs, it has nothing on it since most his work is just use a vpn and connect to remote server somewhere so i would say 90% of the storage is empty, it takes about 5 minutes to just start up and even when you give it a bit of time it freezes randomly and most apps need way too long to open, and since im using an older lenovo ideapad with way worse specs and everything is fine for me I don't know whats the problem. Even pressing windows just to search takes about 10 seconds for it to work.Only thing im sus about is the 20GB RAM because the store said it comes with 4GB soldered and we'll just add 16GB stick for you, could that be what's bottlenecking the whole thing? and if so how could we have avoided the issue since multiple stores said the same thing.Thanks in advance

So, I'm trying to figure out how to get more advanced and granular control over autoplay on windows such that when I plug in a specific device I can run a script, a macro, or generally do something more then just sync my phone's photos with my desktop in one of two file locations. In particular, I want to be able to sync up arbitrary files (mostly to sync files from a specific folder on my android phone with file names in a specific range/structure) to my computer in an arbitrarily selected folder and to do so every time that a particular device that I have is plugged into my desktop. Anyone have experience with this?

Hi, so I use Zorin OS in my old laptop. It was working fine until a recent update. After I restarted the laptop after installing the update, it hasnt been completely booting. It just gets stuck in between. GRUB is also not working. I tried reinstalling it multiple times, it still has the same problem. I tried boot repair as well, no effect.

after formating it and redownloading the windows 10 it goes 0 in size, and now i can't use my usb for windows 10. But before this i installed windows 10 on a HDD it worked but i can't install the needed windows update after trying the solution for it, failed then i had to reinstall it. after reinstalling again i tried to go for SFC /scannow but it didn't fix the corrupted files and just detected it. tried many other solution for it but ultimately failed. so now im thinking that it might be the usb as it was an old usb with windows might be around 5 - 6 year old. so i think i just need a new usb with windows 10

Hi, I recently bought a new nvme SSD (WD Blue SN570 500GB) to upgrade to from my old SATA Kingston A400 480GB SSD. I wanted to clone everything (especially the OS) to the new ssd and use the old for things that I don't access as often. When trying to clone it using MACRIUM REFLECT I found out that the two drives had different partition sizes, the old-512 and the new-4k. After 2 days of scouring the internet I still don't understand what it means or what to do about it. Anyone who knows if there is a way to fix this and how to do it? would love some help with this btw I understand a bit of technical stuff, but am still a newbie so chill with the technical terms plzz (btw, btw sorry If I used the forum wrong, It's my first time) -
So I have a flash drive ( I do not remember what was on it) and I would like to format it so that I could install OS. However, it doesn't show up in windows`s file manager. When I tried to find it in disk manager, which I was able to do, I found out that it can't be formated. What do I do?
