Basically me and my friend need to create a website together, and we live in different places. We want something that both people can work on the same time. There is the Visual Studio Code Live Share, that is the enbodyment of what we need, but it is in closed beta, so we maybe cant use it . Is there any alternatives to that? Needs: Both people can edit the documents css and html at the same time (this isnt as mandatory, as ill do css and friend does html, but this functionality would be very nice) Easy html and css editing, we like visual studio code. If you know something like that let me know, but ill come back to the thread in 12-14 hours, need to sleep now.

Running Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. My Online UPS need ViewPower Software for Monitoring and Other stuff. And as State in this Post Title - ViewPower needs to RUN inside javaw.exe . But javaw.exe eats lots of CPU and I hate it specially because I do Gaming , heavy MultiTasking and Running HyperV (Virtual Machine) , Therefore I need my CPU load to be free for those Programs which are my Priorities not this Shit Program written in Java. Can anyone suggest any other Program for UPS ????????? If I manually kill javaw.exe or Uninstall it Then The continuous Sound of Device Connecting & Disconnecting Irritates the Hell Out of me. Why does this Sound Comes because Windows !0 doesn't have its Own Driver for Such Device. Inside Device & Printer, Under The Unspecified Section The "USB to SERIAL" Device Appears & Disappears frequently i.e, the UPS connected via USB to Serial Connects & Disconnects, If VIewPower Process is killed. Any Help is Welcomed !!!!!!!!!! Either any Alternative Software or anyway to just Stop the Device Connecting and Disconnecting again and again (But not the Hardware Way i.e, Unplugging the USB Port). Yes ! I have tried Disabling and/or Uninstalling this Device but no Helps It will again gets connected and Disconnecting. Thanks in Advance for HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey so i was following a guide on the tripwire wiki on how to setup a dedicated server for KF2, as it turns out you cannot play alone with your friends on a private match, and you alwyas have to find an empty server that fills up quickly, anyways, i got the server up and running but it only works locally, like in LAN, and it doesnt work through hamachi, i wanted to leave the server up and running on my laptop while i play on my main system, i want it on my laptop as is what i bring to lan partys to game, but i have found no info on this issue any insight on this?, here´s a link to the article i used for this https://wiki.tripwireinteractive.com/index.php?title=Dedicated_Server_(Killing_Floor_2)

Hello, my friends and I are developing a game and we all agree that online multiplayer would very, very fun in this game. However, while I know a lot about and can build gaming and workstation PC's, I have little to no knowledge about what i'd need to create a server for online multiplayer hosting. What hardware should i look for? Are high core counts necessary for this or is clock speed more important? Do I need ECC RAM? How much memory should it have? How much storage? Any and all help would be appreciated

Hello, I am looking for a way to backup my server. At the moment it is only 8TB but that will grow over the next year. Currently I backup on Crashplan, but they have decided to discontinue their home user service. I want to avoid the Crashplan for small business because it essentially doubles my current cost. I also have a backup on a set of external hdds that I combined into one drive using mhddfs. I will be moving out of my parents house in about 6 months and I can leave those drives set up there or I can get an equivalent amount of internal/external storage for essentially an offsite copy on a different machine. This is a decent option, but there must be something better. I am looking for any suggestions for an equivalent backup solution to Crashplan. Could be a service or a better idea for a setup of my own. Any help is appreciated.

http://comparesizes.com/ Found this site which gives a relative comparison between objects of different dimensions. Maybe useful to compare case sizes, thought to share here.

This is not my personal problem but his. Me and my cousin built a PC about a year ago, nothing out of the ordinary, we played online games well for the first week. Then after that we didnt play much anymore, but for some time now he has tried playing online but as soon as he opens the game his connection goes terribly bad to the point that not even google loads properly. It ONLY seems to happen with the online game (The game its Dota2, we only got one online game ATM, gonna try others soon), we have tried offline games (AKA games that have 0 multiplayer features, neither communication throught the internet) and the connection is fine. His connection is a 5Mb (megabits) down and 2 Mb up (Its an Arris Router, 2.4Ghz) Here are the main specs of the PC: CPU/GPU (APU) : AMD A10 7850k (No OC) Ram : 8 GB 2113 mhz Motherboard: Gygabyte GA-F2A88XM-DH3 PSU: 430w EVGA 80+ bronze Wifi adapter: Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Here is what i have tried: -Disabling the firewall -Updating the wifi adapter´s drivers -Disabling the router's firewall function -Checked for malware and updated the antivirus Haven't tested ethernet connection yet. Here is what i have noticed: - Opened up Resource monitor, downloading on steam at 500KB/s and right when the game finishes loading the download speed goes gradually down to 0 bytes(I activated the downloads while on multiplayer games to test this. It slowly goes from 500KB/s to 0, takes about 15 seconds) Its like the game making connection to the internet consumed all the bandwith, except its not: The game uses way less than a 1 megabit in the main menu and, due to the slowly killing of the bandwith, the internet completely dies and the game itself loses connection to the servers. Then when i close the game the game window closes but the process still remains open for about 10 to 15 seconds, during this time the internet is STILL dead, once the process is completely out of the processes list the internet starts rising slowly back again until its at is peak download speed. -I have thought that it might be the wireless adapter, but the internet works perfectly fine until you open up the game. One thing i have noticed though is that on his device manager there appear about 5 o 6 different network adapters that are NOT in my device manager (using exactly the same motherboard and wifi adapter). Any help diagnosing the problem would be aprecciated. EDIT: Forgot to include some other details: No other routers are in the area (Arris router set on channel 3, TX power set at 100%) Haven't tried disconnecting all the other devices from the network (There are around 2 devices more connected, cellphones)

Hey, I'm thinking about buying a gaming PC from Cyberpower, which is about $1,200-$1,300. http://www.bjs.com/cyberpowerpc-gamer-xtreme-desktop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-1tb-hdd--120gb-ssd-6gb-graphics.product.3000000000000619598?dimId=2002213 I need some help for those who are knowledgeable in computer price and specs. I've been comparing the specs and prices, but I can't wrap up my head around things, as some parts are costing several hundred dollars more, and others I'm not sure if I need it or not, like some powerful motherboards for example. I wish to get the most out out of how much money we have. I have a feeling that I could get much more out of GPU let's say. But I'm still unsure. Does anyone know better specs, or CyberPower builds for around the same price? I wish to have a computer that'll be able to game for a while Thanks.

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to think of what the differences are between Excel Online, Sharepoint and OneDrive. The main purpose behind this question is ... what does the calculations for the formulas on the spreadsheets for each of these methods? I have a group of people simultaneously working on spreadsheets and Google Sheets isn't working out for us due to the amount of data and formulas that calculate the stuff on Google Sheets. Afaik, we have Office 365 ProPlus. I don't know if that's inclusive of all of those three methods above but I suppose they do. Thanks!

Title says it all! Whats some of the coolest tech you have seen recently? please comment with anything cool and mind-blowing from PC components to smart bikes. To start off I'm gonna share a cool video I saw from Google today about a cool tool to help get kids involved in programming. And one more for those with money to burn in their pockets. The Seabreacher being one of the coolest watercraft I think I have ever seen, certainly worth checking out and putting on the Christmas list for Santa.

So I am an American currently in the UK for university and I have been here many times before (at least once a year for my entire life) but I have had no need to look for or go to computer/tech stores until now. I don't need anything right now but I would like to know what physical stores the UK has that carry an abundance of tech stuff like Best Buy or Micro Center in the US. I have heard of Currys PC World or whatever but are there any others? Any help would be great thanks.

Hello, I wanted to play some Battlefield 3 with my brother but he had some serious problems! He couldn't move at all (called "rubberbanding"?). His system: AMD Athlon X4 760K, GTX 750 Ti, 8GB DDR3, 256GB SSD, Win 10 64bit, Wifi connection, Internet "good enough" around 12Mbit/s. When trying to play Battlefield 3 online his ping gets very (unplayably) high. It jumpes from 30ms to 500-900ms and "rubberbanding" happens. When pinging "www.google.com" in cmd constantly ("ping -t www.google.com") it always shows around 30ms but also jumps very high once he's in game. Also Skype calls break down once in game. What could cause this? The connection is OK (ping to router 1ms, to websites 30ms and good enough bandwidth), but once he's in the game it gets so bad he cant play (literally cant move) and everything internet-related has connection problems. CPU usage is around 90% but it doesn't seem to be a rendering problem since the fps are good. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!
