I have an old Nokia Asha 309 which I did not use for around 2 years (its 11 years old now...the battery was pretty good the last time I used it...gave around 10 hours of bluetooth music streaming)...Now I want to revive the phone but the battery's dead...checked with a voltmetre...It simply shows 0V....I've had this phone for years and holds sentimental value for me....I tried finding new batteries for the phone...But I simply cannot find one...So incase if this video is safe and legitimate...I would use it to revive my old nokia...Can you guys please confirm if this video is safe and legitimate? The comment section seems to be positive...and the revival of dislike button has made it more difficult right now....

Hey everyone, I have a Nokia Asha 503 (kinda smartphone). It was working great from last 7 years. The battery still lasts three days easily . The problem is now it is not deleting any thing, deleting but still showing everything corrupted. I did a hard reset, no help. Went to Nokia care, they don't support these phones anymore. Microsoft removed the link to its firmware, and their flashing software is not connecting to the server. Is there a way to flash firmware to it(I also tried flashing a android phone's flashlight on it, no help!) Please help

I recently got a Nokia Lumia 2520 from a second-hand market (i know it's pretty old but it's what I needed, eheh) but now I got a big issue: The battery seems to not charge. I tried with the tab turned on and off too but nothing seems to work, it works only with the power brick inserted and Windows telss me constantly "plugged in but not charging" while stuck at 0%. The battery seems to OK (not faulty) since it doesn't say "battery missing" or "non detected" but still there's no way to charge it. I tried the trick of resetting battery drivers in Windows but it didn't work, I dunno if I did something wrong. Someone has a solution, please?

Hi there! After some research on cheap android phones, I’ve shortlisted Samsung Galaxy A21s and Nokia 5.3. But both of them look really similar on paper and most of the reviews are generally positive towards both of them. So, I'm torn on my decision, would love to hear what you guys have to say. Also, do any of you guys have personal experience with either of the phones? If so, how is the experience? Greatly appreciate you guys taking time to help me. Thank you!

Summary The Nokia 3.4 has leaked and it appears to be based on the Snapdragon Bengal soc and will have 6 gb of ram (although there may be versions with 2GB or 4GB of RAM), it will will have a 4,000 mAh battery, with 10W charging, via a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will have a 13MP + 2MP + 5MP triple setup of cameras and will ship with android 10. Edit: Thanks elfensky Quotes My thoughts Well I guess Nokia may get more of foothold in the phone market. The name Kowarenai was given by @Den-Fi I personally doesn't care about the os but android is nice to customize the home screen. This phone is known as my race car phone due to the color and wallpapers. build quality jokes aside yes its built like a tank as a nokia should. Thanks @Blademaster91 for the picture build quality white plastic expected for a cheap phone but its still solid feeling no removable battery oh well this is kinda temporarily replacement for my iPhone features android 9 out of box USB type c very nice and versatile headphone jack yep nice SD card slot expand ability nice 32 gb of internal storage kinda ok camera (this doesn't matter to me because I use a dslr) bad things bloatware some cases have problems of the volume rockers not working

Hello! I recently bought a used old Nokia 3310 (2000 model), the phone was functioning normally until one day i turned it on and it gives me "Security Code" screen. I tried the default 12345 that I found online, I tried different combos 1111, 0000 etc... but it still gives me Error code and doesn't let me use the phone... Any idea If i can do a reset maybe? I can't find any help on google, it keeps sending me to pages that are dealing with the newer 2017 3310 models. Thanks for reading :)

Source: The Verge A study done by Counterpoint Research has conveyed that out of the top 10 manufacturers, Nokia is the fastest, topping Samsung for the number 1 spot, achieving 96% of devices running Android 9 Pie. I don't think it's a very high bar to clear since a good majority of the manufacturers tend to update their arsenal of lineups pretty darn late. I remember owning a Samsung Galaxy S8 - which I have now handed down to my mother - and it took easily 8 months to get to Android 9 from when Android 9 was released to the public. If Samsung is rated at the number 2 spot for most supported devices with Android Pie running, I wonder how long the others take... It's such a shame that these phone manufacturers don't support their older devices for the newer software, which prevents people who want to experience the new and improved, shiny Android version just because their choseh handset won't support it, or will, and get the update 9 months into the future. Software updates complaints aside, praise to Nokia though, I haven't heard that name in a while in the smartphone game, so it's nice that they're still top of the class in software support, again not that it was a high bar to clear in the first place with Samsung taking eons to update their recent and supported phone models...

honor Play 8A vs Tecno Camon 11 Pro vs Nokai 5.1 Plus! https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?&idPhone1=9509&idPhone2=9441&idPhone3=9246#diff- All of them are good but I feel like the Camon 11 Pro has the edge due to the battery... Need advice here! ^-^

Hello there. So, I've been meaning to buy a new phone for quite a while, and today I went by a local store and found the Nokia 5.1, and it actually looks pretty good, MicroSD, no ugly glass back and even headphone jack! (Unfortunately, the screen has rounded corners, but ofc, you may not get everything) All in all, I think it would suit me quite well. It's even on sale. It is only that the screen almost feels a bit narrow in some way if you compare with my old handset, and that it has not yet received a confirmed update from android 8.0. I've also read about the software being more buggy and not as speedy compared to other phones in this price class. I have also checked out the Moto G6 Play, and although I like larger screens and the powerful battery, and the ability to control display colour, it doesn't really feel as good in the hand as the Nokia, almost a bit big. (Well I mean, comparing feel in the hand is pretty hard with two demo units laced down with anti-theft wires, but still.) And since I really want to get the best upgrade possible for around the 230 dollar price range (coming from a beat up Xperia T3), I turn to you: Does anyone have any experience with either the Nokia or the Moto, and which one would you go for? Or is there another phone that's better than these two for the price? Have a nice day!

So, I'm a high school student about to pass out (that means about to graduate in my country ? ?). I'm going to buy my first smartphone and have short listed the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Nokia 7.1 Plus (to be launched). Here are my main reasons for considering the phones Asus: Mammoth 5000 mAh battery Dual sim + micro SD support 6GB RAM Gorilla Glass 6 (All these for a little over 200 usd in my country) Nokia: Good build quality USB-C at this price point Android One Snapdragon 710 soc Fast charging Better screen (I THINK) Faster and better fingerprint sensor So, my main question is: Is Nokia 7.1 plus worth the extra money? Before closing I would like to point out that my mother has used the Lumia 625 in the past and is currently using Nokia 6 and both are good phones with excellent build quality and an overall good experience.

Hi everyone! I'm having a problem with my phone's (nokia 6 2018) front camera. It has a hard yellow tint almost everywhere (see the photos: first is rear, second is front) and I can't get to find what the cause really is. Did anyone already face this issue? I've tried different camera apps, it doesn't change anything, and since it's not all yellow I don't think it's a connection issue

Enjoyed how fast Nokia is improving their phones lately. And when considering their pedigree, this might turn out to be exciting. link to article: https://www.pocket-lint.com/phones/news/nokia/144959-nokia-9-specs-release-date-and-news

Towards the start of November I will be needing to find a new phone for my Grandad in the region of £24pm. Would it be worth waiting for Black Friday to see if I can get the Samsung Galaxy S8 in this price range?

There has been a rise of reports of people having some serious issues with the screen quality of their Nokia flagship devices. Most reports refer to "half dead screen" issues on the Nokia 8 as little as days after the initial boot and yellow tinting on the screen on the Nokia 7 plus. My story is that i had to rma my Nokia 8 handset twice, first because of dead pixels out of the box, was quick enough thanks to the doa policy of my supplier and then after a couple months i had to warranty replace the logic board due to wifi and data not working at all and device getting super hot on my hand. Also many reports state that Nokia screens become unresponsive or register wrong inputs when the phone is pluged or layed flat. For proof and only of the dozens of issues reports i post bellow the according Nokia support forum and pictures of discord chats of the Nokia community. Most of the reported issues have to do with hardware problems such as, failing LCD flex cable connectors, failing motherboards, bad screen quality, uncured and rushed screen adhesive, bad headphone jacks and the list about hardware problems goes on without having to mention software issues that can be fixed. I think that awareness should be raised, because we are talking about expensive devices that come with the flagship sticker on them (nokia 8) and/or expensive midrange devices such as Nokia 7 plus, that try to exploit the former Nokia durability stamp of approval, but seem to lack the consistency of good and stable quality through user usage. Those issues should gain publicity and force HMD Global to take action and further investigate their QC problems. Hello everyone, I'm looking to invest in a new phone that will last me a fair while (hopefully no less than two years, my last pone only lasted a year). I have narrowed my search down to two phones that I can purchase for $600 (NZD, about $420 USD). I would like your opinions on which phone I should go with. Below is what I have found out about them. As far as reviews go, they're honestly quite confusing. Both have USB C Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) -Exynos 7885 CPU (not as much raw performance as the snapdragon but better optimised) -Mali G71 GPU -4GB RAM -32GB Storage -5.6” 1080p OLED display -IP68 water proof up to 1.5m for 30 minutes -75.6% screen/body ratio -Android 7.1 w/ Samsung's OS 8 thing -16MP Camera w/ low light sensors (best) -1080p video -3000mAh battery -$600 Nokia 8 -Snapdragon 835 CPU -Adreno 540 GPU (best) -4GB RAM -64GB Storage -5.3" 1440p IPS display -IP54 splash proof -69.4% screen/body ratio -Android 8.1 -13MP Camera -2160p video -3090mAh battery -$600

So i wanna buy new phone but its hard to choose one, cuz there are many great options rn. I have found these 4 phones that got little more attention(for me atleast) than rest of options Nokia 6 2018 Huawei P Smart Xiaomi Mi A1(have seen rumors of an A2 model but idk if its true) Asus ZenPhone 5 ZE620KL (idk the price yet on this so its on big maybe for now) My current phone is Huawei p8 Lite and it has worked like a charm, havent been for repairs even tho i tend to drop it very often, has survived water(rain), but i want an upgrade cuz its starts to get a bit slower and the support is dead for it. Things i dont really care about in the phone: screen size, speaker quality(using headphones allways), battery life(cuz i think all of them can last a day), good camera quality(very rearly take pic and post them somewhere) and good gaming preformance(i need phone for regular usage), fast mobile internet(dont use 4g cuz its an extra cost). Things i need need it phone: durability(build quality from out side and inside aswell) cuz phone must last atleast 2 years, good costumer service, good software experience(want to try stock android but its not an big deal braker if i wont get it). Maybe u guys know other options for me to choose from(but not very cheap ones(minimum is 200 euros, max around 300) and no older phones). Thanks for help!

Source: BGR Rumored Specs: 6.01" AMOLED QHD display Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC ships with Android 8.1 Oreo timely software updates thanks to Android One program 8GB LPDDR4 memory 256 GB UFS 2.1 internal storage 3900 mAh battery five integrated microphones for HDR audio (audio recordings at 24-bit audio) No headphone jack (comes with USB-C t0 3.5 mm audio jack adapter) front facing fingerprint scanner fast wired and wireless Qi charging compatible IP68 water & dust resistant Dual nano sim card slot No SD card slot And here's the promising thing about the camera: triple rear camera sensors Primary camera: 41 MP sensor with optical image stabilization, 1.4 micron pixels, f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture, phase detection autofocus, Xenon and LED flash Secondary camera: 20 MP sensor with optical image stabilization, 1.0 micron pixels, f/2.4 aperture Tertiary sensor: 9.7 MP monochrome camera without hardware stabilization The rear cameras can do 4x optical zoom (not half assed digital cropping like the old Nokia Lumia 1020) selfie camera: 21 MP 1.4 sensor with 1.4 micron pixels, f/1.8 aperture, display flash Sorry to the ten people who still want specs like this on a Windows Phone, stop trying to make Windows Phone happen. It's not going to happen. This is just an alleged spec sheet so it's only a matter of time for HMD to say if it's true or not. Granted, those specs are quite impressive especially the camera which is way superior to what Nokia and Microsoft did with the Nokia Lumia 1020. I think criticizing Microsoft's Windows Phone platform is like flogging a dead horse but it's nice that this Nokia 9 is running Android Oreo and will get timely software updates from Google so yay to less fragmentation. I'm not confident that the likes of LG and Samsung can do timely updates as well but maybe that will change with Project Treble. The rumored specs of the Nokia 9 especially for audio and camera is like the HDR audio recording of the Nokia Lumia Icon/930 and the "lossles" zoom of the 1020 but instead of merely cropping a 34/38 MP photo, it is now hardware zoom which is nice since there's no loss in detail. I hope that this is true even though I'm probably not going to buy one because I'm slowly getting invested to Apple's ecosystem. But then, this could just be another April Fool's joke so it's hard to say. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm looking to buy a new phone and these two are top of my list because I want a stock android experience. Nokia 8 is around 30 USD more expensive from where I live. Does the Snapdragon 835 really outperform the 821 and is it worth paying the extra bucks? and which phone offers better user experience in your opinion?

Hey guys as some of you may have noticed HMD global, announced today that the NOKIA 8110 is becoming a successor called 8110 4G. It will be operated by KaiOS, and that's where my question marks bump up... I know that the hardware specs are not comparable to a "true" smartphone, but would it be possible to install WhatsApp or other regular apps on it? Thanks in advance!

Source: https://www.gsmarena.com/dbrand_takes_a_jab_at_new_nokia_phones-news-29162.php dbrand actually said Nokia phones was trash on Twitter! Now I am no fashion guru but why would anyone put those ugly trash stickers on their buitiful phone? Nokia looks so wonderful and nice without it! O3O If this is trash, then a Apple & Samsung most be shit. (its indestructible)
