Currently I use the Corsair mm800 polaris as a mouse pad. It's a great mouse pad that I have used a lot but my issue is that it's too small (forcing me to play high sens). I'm trying to find a hard mouse pad that is bigger (like a desk mat/pad) but so far I can't find ANYONE that makes one. Overall I want to have a bigger mouse pad. Should I just go to cloth which I've never tried with gaming since my first mouse pad was the polaris? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey guys, been a while since I came back on here asking for some help on things. So, as the title suggests I am looking for a quiet keyboard(as quiet as possible) but I am also a gamer so I would like it if there was RGB involved as well. Searching around is a nightmare because you have a huge amount of misinformation floating about so hopefully someone here can help me out. I am not very well informed on what switches or brands to look for so information is highly appreciated. Budget is $250 as I really don't mind spending a bit on one of the items I use the most considering I do computer work as well as gaming together. I need something that's going to last so I would assume Double Shot PBT keycaps would be preferred as well.

I am currently using the logitech g pro wireless with hyperglides, and I need a new mousepad. I was thinking about getting the zowie gsr se or one of the artisan mousepads. However I'm not sure if there are better ones or there or which artisan mousepad I should get. I am looking for a good balance between stopping power and speed. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hey! So i have noticed that my mouse skates got a lot of mousepad hair/strings whatever they are called caught up between the skates/sensor/on off button. Do those come because i have a bad mousepad or why do they get caught up in those in betweens like that? The mouse is the FNATIC Bolt and i got it like a month ago. Cheers!

Are the Cordura Mousepad's worth it? I have always used the normal speed mousepad and they always get dirty and no matter how much you wash or how carefully you wash they never go back to feeling like original. I always used warm water with dishwash soap and scrubbed with a 3M sponge. The resulting water was dark af and mousepad gets clean but the smoothness/polish goes away. I hang it to dry in indirect sunlight so that the fabric doesn't shrink. I have been told that Cordura is resistant to these and is a much tougher fabric. Is it true? And if yes is it worth spending $18 once every 2-3 yearsvs $3 multiple times?

Hi All Not to fearmonger but hopefully this will help some people out, I'm just about to return my second set of Mamba+Firefly. Basically I currently use a standing desk which has a metal bar going right down the middle of the desk and this is causing interference, making the mouse disconnect every few minutes. I tried a few different options to find this out and also combined certain things to try and alleviate the issue to no avail. Here is what I did: Directly on desk next to metal keyboard Directly on desk not next to metal keyboard Firefly mat on electrical tape next to metal keyboard Firefly mat on electrical tape not next to metal keyboard Firefly mat on electrical tape and another thick mousepad next to metal keyboard Firefly mat on electrical tape and another thick mousepad not next to metal keyboard Desk Details: 2.5cm (1 inch) thick MDF/laminated wood table top. Stainless steel metal support running directly underneath. About 1mm thick tube, roughly 2.5cm (1 inch) width under the desk/firefly. Best case scenario I had: Hyperflux was on top of an Asus cloth with rubber base mousepad, about 3mm thick. Electrical tape was applied to the desk in the shape of the hyperflux. Things I didn't want to do: Dismantle desk and wrap the full bar repeatedly with electrical tape. A lot of effort considering the desktop has monitor arms on it. May cause the desktop to bow slightly if I use too much. Increase the layers of the electrical tape on top. Will make it an uneven surface. To summarise, if you're looking at this product: Don't get it if you have metal (even thin metal) an inch underneath and through various insulators. I do not know the magic number of mm/insulators where this would not be an issue. Be very careful if you have a standing desk, I've had a few and only 1 didn't have the metal support running directly under the desk. If you have a Jarvis or something similar you should be ok. Be careful if you have metal near it/wireless chargers. To be fair to them they do list this in the instructions and I knew this ahead of time, I did reorganise my desk to accomodate for this, the site has instructions about this, but not things like metal desk legs (hence my diasappointment). One thing that I won't get a chance to properly test is to what degree a metal keyboard may interfere with it. I would hope this wouldn't be an issue as I believe Razer sell keyboards with metal frames. They also sell the Orbweaver (which I have) meaning that your overall space is more crampt and depending on how you like to position, your keyboard in all likelihood will be close to the pad. My last hope of something similar is that I've ordered a Logitech g903+Powerplay mat. I didn't want to get the originally due to having too much software for peripherals already but this does have onboard memory so I can uninstall the software if necessary. I kind of noobed out with Razer and not wanting too much software, the Hyperflux things require Synapse 3 and the Orbweaver (not sure if there's a newer one) requires Synapse 2 so I was again disappointed by this but would have lived with it. I spoke to Logitech support and the agent (that said he had one) stated that although it doesn't work with metal desks, his pad is 50% on carbon fibre and 50% on stainless steel and still works. As this is a worse scenario than mine, I'm more hopeful it will actually work.

Whats the situation with the $49.99 MM1000 Qi pad? Because whenever I see it, I'm just a tad bit confused about why its still visible, I'd have assumed that if this cheaper version is no longer in production they'd have shoved it into some deep dark corner of their site

My mouse pad (razer Goliath Extended chrome) has begun warping out of nowhere. I have heard this is not uncommon this particular product. Anyone know a fix? Can't seem to find a concrete way of flattening it.

Ello, So I like to play using fast DPI settings (1,000-2000) and mostly play FPS games. My current mouse-pad is the Razer Goliathus Speed. I've been using it since 2016, and it has finally wearied out. I am currently in the look out for a "newer" version of a mouse-pad, since many of them came out and I've seen a lot of "reviews" on YouTube and Reddit, however still, I am confused on which to go with that will match my gaming sensitivity style. So far, here is what I "think" might match my style: Coolermaster MP510 X-RAYPAD THOR Odin ZERO GRAVITY Glorious XXL Extended I am open for all recommendations and suggestions. I do not have any set budget, so go for any price. Also, I have never tried 'hard' pads, and I don't think I might like them. Looking forward!

Hi. I want to buy a large mousepad (900*400 mm/35.4*15.7 inches) with equal horizontal and vertical tracking and thickness at least of 4mm. It needs to be hard or medium hard since i come from SS QcK Heavy. And also no stiching on the edges (cuz i don't like it). Waiting for your recommendations guys. And please do not recommend products available only in certain territories like NA, Canada, UK, etc. I'm not a citizen of those countries. I don't have an opportunity to buy those products.

The Corsair MM800 RGB POLARIS has large surface area (350mm x 260mm x 5mm) and has a smooth texture surface. The MM800 RGB POLARIS is generally a good mousepad but with one exception, the onboard memory. The Corsair MM800 RGB POLARIS has no onboard memory. Everytime you boot your computer, the Corsair MM800 RGB POLARIS shows the rainbow effect. To show your own custom effects like the static effect, you have to boot up everytime on the desktop the CORSAIR Utility Engine (CUE). On the Corsair website it doesn't state that the MM800 RGB POLARIS doesn't have onboard memory. Here is the link to the website: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/mm800-polaris-rgb-gaming-mouse-pad

I have really been getting into the rgb lighting with my set up. I've got the corsair strafe rgb, I've got the corsair rgb mouse pad, I've got 2 mice bc the lg one that I love is only once color at a time and the Razer mamba looks awesome but has a less appealing hand feel <insert joke here>. On top of that I've got the whole rgb light strip on the back of my desk giving me tons more color. My tower is a Dell XPS 8700 so it's plain, but I think it kicks tons of ass so i'm good for now. Anyway, the point of all this was to ask if it's ok to leave them on. I generally leave my pc on all the time, I shut the monitors off at night, but for the most part I fall asleep with one corner of my room looking like a magic skittles factory. I know that LED's last for a long time, but should am I looking like having to replace stuff in 5 years or more like 1. I mean I love my rainbow rig being on and looking like an episode of sailor moon, but I want it to last. So....what's the verdict? I'm sure there's going to be a bunch of back and forth, and I look forward to reading it. Thanks to everyone

Hello folks.. As the topic says any one have experience with both pads or know any thing about the difference or similarity (about surface) between the two pads.

Hello I am going to upgrade my peripherals soon and I was hoping to get some suggestions or comments on some of my choices. I already have chosen headphones with the help of @Kloaked but I still cant decide on a few other things. First is monitor, I was thinking of upgrading to a 24 inch Dell Ultrasharp U2415. It has an IPS display with great color accuracy and I have a great amount of trust in Dell. My 15 year old Dell monitor is only now starting to break, and I was thinking of upgrading more because its out-dated. I already have a nice mech keyboard with MX Blues so no upgrade is needed there #MXBlueMasterRace and for the mouse upgrade I was thinking of going for a Logitech G403 Prodigy wired. I have heard great things about it and the sensor it has is really good, 3366 I believe which is among the best. The mouse pad isn't that big of a deal but I was thinking of getting a Corsair MM300 extended mat. Any comments or suggestions about this pick of peripherals? Any suggestions for different products? Also, does anyone own any of these things and if you do, what are your thoughts on it? Thanks in advance.

So I bought an ASUS STRIX GL502V gaming laptop about 8 months ago. It has been an decent laptop after I fixed the kinks such as the terrible 5200RPM drive and added a M.2 Card. Anyways, the track pad works fine, but there is no padding on the wrist rest area. There is a large amount of plastic on the laptop between my hands and the keys. I find that my wrists have to lay on the edge of the laptop and leave dent marks on my arms. It hurts and is uncomfortable. I need suggestions on quality wrist rests or pads that won't slip off the laptop and won't get in the way of my gaming. I looked on Amazon and Newegg, but can't seem to find anything worth buying. Anyone have suggestion?

Hello, I was looking at mouse pads as my current mouse pad is a bit small for me, I run out of space on it frequently when playing games (although it is 16 inch * 22 inch). Does anyone have suggestions for large mouse pads? I was currently looking at the Glorious XXXL but am open to other suggestions. To anyone that thinks I am trolling, I am not. I actually started to notice that when I game my mouse is falling off the mouse pad and hitting my keyboard (my keyboard is next to the mouse pad) Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can make.

After my old mouse pad got ruined by ramen noodles, I needed a new solution, what I found to work extremely well was masking tape! The best part about this is that it's cheap, you probably already have it, you can make your mouse pad as large as you like, and it comes in different colors! I've found that the tracking is great and it allowed me to even do better at csgo. I used to only use my wrist for movements and aiming because my mouse pad was too small, but now after making it bigger, I can use my arm for moving and my wrist for aiming making me more accurate!

I recently bought a new steelseries mousepad and was wondering if I could do anything to prevent the mousepad edges from peeling.

I am looking into getting a new mousepad because i feel like the Razer Goliathus medium (control) that I currently have is too small (due to my extremely low sensitivity). I know that there are a few differences between these mousepads such as thickness but is there any difference in material or is it just size? (If there are any issues with these mousepads that you know about can you please inform me because i don't want to spend £30 to get a bad product) Thanks

I need help finding an 80 x 30cm mousemat that can fit my desk. As of late I've had some difficulty finding one, any of your efforts would be appreciated!

First question is how much impact a mouse pad has on gaming experience? I play casual games on a regular basis as well as competitive matches in CS:GO and DOTA 2. I currently use a REALLY CHEAP 0.2 USD mouse pad with my Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum. will getting a "gaming" mouse pad improve my gaming experience? Second question: If i decide to get a pad, which one should i go for? the following ones are within my budget and available where i live: 1. Steelseries QcK Mass & Qck+ 2. LOGITECH G240 CLOTH & Hard 3. CORSAIR MM300 4. Some Razer ones too. Thanks in advance.

Hey folks. I'm looking for a decent quality large cloth mousepad. Something large enough to fit a fullsize keyboard and still have some space left for the mouse to move around (I'm a low sensivity user). I would prefer something more inclined to "control" rather than "speed", I'd like something that offers a tiny bit of resistance when moving the mouse. My current mouse is a Logitech G403 Prodigy (wired) in case you're wondering. No fancy designs please... I think I'd like something all black or in a scale of grey/white. Stitched edges aren't a must but they would be welcome. My current mouse pad is a Steelseries QcK XXL and while it's still serving me well enough I feel I'm not being as precise as I'd like while gaming compared to how I was before... I might have fucked up the cloth after a few cleans or something. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
