My mouse has been through issues for the past few months so I've had to switch to a cheaper mouse not knowing what the problem was as I've searched on youtube for a solution and google not finding any results on why my mouse is typing "0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=0-=" when I plug it into my pc's usb port. It happens with any device I use whether that's a laptop a pc or anything of that sort. Does anyone know why or have a solution to this problem?

Hi, I have a problem with my mouse Razer DeathAdder V3 (DAV3), while connected to a PC it won't boot to the windows. When I start the PC it will load the MB logo with single short beep, as usual, but it freezes for up to about 15 seconds and then it goes to black screen. When I start PC without mouse plugged in it will work just fine. I tried other USB ports and also other PC, but "unfortunately" it worked fine, thus I can not return or exchange the product because, obviously, they will sent it back with message: "It works for us, there is a problem on your side". Previously I had DAV1 from Razer and it worked fine. What I've tried and other notes: I've tried BIOS USB initialization set to: partial and full I've tried toggling fast boot enable/disable I've checked the boot order in BIOS (cause I saw somewhere that those mices have their own memory for profiles so I checked if it is not booting system from the mouse which is probably bs but I had to try everything) BIOS firmware is up to date (I have the latest one from 2018, its an old MB) I've tried setting the BIOS to default I've tried different USB ports (even those which work with keyboard or other peripherals) I've tried uninstalling the device driver I've tested on other PC (worked fine) I've checked the newest firmware for DAV3 - there is no new firmware for DAV3 only for DAV3Pro Before DAV3 I had DAV1 (it worked fine) My specs are: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 (BIOS version 3503, latest from 2018) Intel Core i7-4790K 4GHz 2x8GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 RAM (1866MHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD (1TB) boot drive Intel 530 Series 180GB WD Black 1TB HDD Cooler Master G650M (650W) Thank you for any help you provide.

So I had this mouse for years hv ms901gt and the mouse wheel jumps constantly while scrolling up or down. So I got a new mouse fxr sm 57, its wired and brand new but when I plugged it in it also jumped so I thought it was a driver problem and downloaded the drivers from the website, did nothing. The only other way this could be happening is if the scroll wheel is dirty but it was brand new. Is there any other solution to this problem? Also I use the mouse and keyboard on some xbox one games and edge, and the wheel still jumps so it can't be a fault with my computer or software. Doing clean install of windows does nothing too.

I got a Razer Viper 8k so I could get really smooth mouse motion in osu lazer! Also I modified my client to uncap the fps and game clock to make it run smoother. However, the cursor seems to jump every 5 frames, so I assumed it was a problem with Linux (Ubuntu with KDE). Then, when I tried it in Windows, it had the same thing on both the desktop and during the game, same as with Linux! It seemed fine in a mouse-testing program I was using called MouseComparator though. untitled_even_better.mp4 (Near the end of the video, when I said it was running at 1000hz, I meant 8000hz) Earlier when I had thought it was a problem with osu's code, I added some print statements along with timestamps to figure out what was going on. It was receiving 8 mouse updates all at once, every millisecond. That was in Linux, I haven't tested it in Windows, though I bet it would be the same. It seems like for both the Windows desktop, KDE, and SDL2 (the library osu uses), they're polling for new mouse updates once a millisecond even though it's an 8khz mouse. Also I tried compiling the Linux kernel 6.2.10 with the update rate set to 1999hz (the highest it'll go), but it didn't work. Is anyone else having this same problem? All you need is an 8khz mouse and a 240hz panel (I think since 240*4 is close to 1000, it makes bigger jumps and makes them less frequently, so easier to see). I asked razer support and they told me to do an RMA. I spilled a bit of water on the mouse once, but I really think it's a problem with software, not with my mouse. Hi everyone, I recently purchased the Jerthech Sword XP 10 gaming mouse, but I'm having trouble finding the software for it. I've searched online and on the manufacturer's website, but I can't seem to locate it. I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience or knows where I can find the software for this mouse. I'm particularly interested in customizing the button mappings and DPI settings. If anyone has any insights or recommendations for alternative software that can be used with this mouse, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello everyone! Longtime lurker, first time poster. I am hoping for some recommendations for a good keyboard and mouse combo belkow 100€. Must be wireless and utilize only one dongle. I am looking for long battery life and good quality. It's puprose is not for gaming, but for office work - it will be connected to a work laptop and has to travel between work and home with me. So far I've used Legotech's M185 & K270 combo. I was not too happy with it (mouse is too small) but they were for free. Now they've given up the ghost and I need a replacement to use for a couple of years. Any tips or hints?

so i have a wireless (i think 2.4 ghz) mouse iv had for i think like 3-6 months. the specific model is this (https://leedsproducts.brandeditems.com/product/galactic-wireless-mouse/) and i got it from my cousin who works at fritolay, and as such it has a doritos logo on it. like 20 minutes ago it started acting funny like not tracking properly, jittering all over the screen when i moved it. i cleaned the lens and opened it up and nothing look broken. could it be a problem with the dongle? what is the problem here? it was working fine and then just broke. im using a backup wired mouse but i would like some help fixing it.

I'm a music producer with a couple years of experience and I'm thinking about what hardware I should get to improve my workflow. I REALLY like the Magic Mouse's ability to swipe in any direction, but I hate everything else about it. I want the precision and ergonomics of a gaming mouse but the swipe ability of the Magic Mouse. Does a perfect unicorn mouse like this exist? What are my other options? And is the swipe ability really so niche that no one's tried to make anything like the Magic Mouse but better? P.S. I refuse to use trackball

Hey all, for the last few days I've been dealing with my peripherals (mouse, keyboard, chroma stations, mic, mousepad) power cycling randomly while gaming. I've turned power management off in device manager for everything, have a new 1000W PSU, and don't use USB hubs but can't find a solid fix. If anyone has absolutely any ideas, I would very much appreciate it.

As said above my pc only sometimes will registers my M5, I have tried binding my side mouse button to page up and it will always work, but if I put it back to default (aka m5/forward) it will go back to working about 30% of the time. I have a Steel Series Aerox 3 and a Logitech g305 it happens on both of my mice, I have checked both of the software's and it doesn't say they need a driver update or anything I can really think of. I should clarify when I say it works only about 30% of the time I mean it has random windows where it just starts/stops working, while it is "working" if I click the button it will work 100% of the time but at random it will just stop working for minuets at a time. My other side mouse button M4 works all the time btw. The reason this sucks when I am playing games any ability bound to M5 could just stop working at any random moment. I could obviously change the bind to something else on my keyboard and change the setting in game to whatever my new bind is to circumvent this problem, but I don't want this issue to pop up again and I would personally like to find out why this is happening rather then just ignore it. If anyone has any idea why this might be the case please let me know (or if you need more information I would love to share.) Thanks in advance. Hi i have this weird problem where when I'm aiming down sights in a game and shooting if i stop shooting, my gun stops aiming down sight even though I'm still holding right click. This is especially annoying when sniping as i click once to shoot and then it unscopes me. I have tested my mouse on a website and when i either hold down left or right click then proceed to click left or right click they both stop registering, when only the button i only click once should. I have tested another mouse and it does the same thing so it has to do with pc settings but haven't changed anything that would do this. Any help would be appreciated. I have a Logitech G203 it that helps.

Hi everyone, Looking for advice & suggestion for my wife's home office, where we wish to add her own PC to supplement her work laptop. Usage will be casual so MSOffice, browsing and maybe some light gaming like What Remains of Edith Finch (so no 3D intense FPS yada yada ). Looking at a NUC-format for cosmetic reasons. Current setup: Samsung CH890 Monitor Microsoft Bluetooth Desktop She just gets home, uses the USB-C cable from the monitor and voila: power & display. The kb/m just reconnect. The goal is giver her simplicity without adding cables and gear as much as we can avoid it. So I was thinking to keep the USB-C for the laptop, using the DisplayPort for the new PC. The kb/m kit we can replace as it's not "multi-device" and re-pairing is annoying. Was thinking a MS or Logitech kit with it's own adapter for both, connected to the back of the monitor, and when she powers one device on it takes over the peripherals. Any blind spots in this gameplan? Any better ideas? Trying to avoid a KVM switch if I can really. Thanks!

When I open a game (lost ark) and I hold down the left button and move my mouse around I drop to 1 fps. Same for an emulator with mobile games. Nothing intense is going on, just moving my mouse around while pressing down left button. Makes games unplayable. 140f381548bebeeb0efafdfcfe2d44bf.mp4 Is this a new amd feature? I'm on 23.3.1, this was an install after doing DDU in safe mode. Other than that I didn't do anything. I'll try updating to 23.3.2. What else would be recommended to fix this? Reinstall other drivers as well?

Hey all, so I just wanted to ask a quick question about peripheral power on startup. Usually when the Windows login page loads, my peripherals immediately power on and are ready to go. Now, it takes something like 20-30 seconds for them to power on at that point. Could this be an issue with the PSU being insufficient or aging? A BIOS setting? I recently upgraded my cpu and changed some settings, but this issue didn't start until recently and that was over a month ago. I couldn't find any other posts about something this specific, so hopefully someone has some wisdom to share here. Thank you. Hi all, I was wondering about something. I played the Insomniac's Spiderman remastered on Pc using keyboard and mouse and also using controller. I was more comfortable using kb/mouse as i mostly play pc games using kb/mouse. What i want to know is if i play spiderman (or any other games) on ps5 using keyboard and mouse, will my experience be the same? The keys layout will be the same as pc ones or you have to set the keys yourself in each game?

I am shopping for a new lightweight mouse and on amazon I have seen great reviews for both the Gwolves hati and skoll. I am mainly focusing on those two for now but I am open for new suggestions. Rgb is not a factor and is mearly a nice-to-have. I will be adding a pic of my hand with measurements to help you guys.

Hi, So lets say I had a wall mount pc(or a shelf and the pc must go off desk to left of monitors, and back of pc must face away{farther left} to show RGB), and i was trying to minimize the wires going through my wall wire covers. Would i not just use a usb hub for my mouse, keyboard, bluetooth dongle, and drawing tablet, possible webcam, and speakers?

Like the title says I am having tracking issues with my new mouse-mad catz r.a.t. dws. I bought this mouse this week. Was super hyped about it. The feel in my hands coming from logitech g9x was everything I dreamed of. After 2 years of searching and trying everyithing finally something to fit my very peculiar grip. But then I started using it. For me the mouse has severe stuttering issues. And i mean severe sickness inducing microatutter. First I thought it was my trackpad. Tried 5 different still didnt work properly. Thought it was my pc. Tried 6 different pcs same microstuttering problems. (And yes I made sure there is no woreless interference and that the dongle is so close to the mouse that it is basically a wired one). After a week of trouble shooting and literally trying all of the trouble shooting steps internet has to offer I am finally giving up and returning the mouse on monday. That is if none of you have a secret tip that fixes the mouse for me so please share xD.

Here is the issue. I'm playing an FPS game, I see an enemy so I react and a part of the process is me pressing mouse 2 ( ADS ) & next in succesion pressing mouse 1 ( FIRE ). What would happen next is strange, I'll keep shooting but for some reason my mouse 2 will give. This makes it impossible to play because all accuracy is lost. The following is repetitive. - Different MICE have the same issue on the same computer. ( I've been through five mice from amazon within the past two weeks ) - Different USB ports have outcome, nothing changes. ( Including Case Ports ) - Same computer ( What are the chances all the USB ports are fried ) Slight things I've noticed is that the issue doesn't happen when I delay the time between when I ADS & FIRE This issue makes it really hard to be comepetitve if anyone else had anything close. Please tell me your experience & how you got around it / fixed it. Thanks!

Hello, I have been having issues with many games through the year with my FPS dropping whenever I move my mouse, and I isolated it to my mouse moving because even in menu’s, if I move my mouse my FPS goes from 80-90 to 30-40. I have researched this and know a bit about pc’s and I’ve tried changing my poll rate, which seams to be a common fix, but I had no success. If anyone could help me that would be very appreciated. My specs are a ryzen 3 2200g, rx 580 8gb, 16 Gb ram, but the specs won’t effect it because for other people with 3070’s and core-i9’s have had this problem.
