PC specs: Processor: AMD FX 8120 125w with Thermaltake Contac 21 air cooler. Ram: Corsair vengeance DDR3 2x4 GB. Motherboard: Asus 970 PRO Gaming/AURA. SSD: Consistent M.2 NVME 512GB HDD: 1x Seagate Barracuda 2TB, Seagate Barracuda 80GB. Graphics Card: Zotac Nvidia GTX 1650. PSU: Corsair RM750e. Hi guys, Like the title says, I was using PS/2 keyboard until now recently brought Ant eSports KM1600 usb keyboard & Mouse combo every time I start my PC I have to unplug and replug my keyboard, and it then works fine. Though it didn't occur after a "Windows Restart" but only after disconnecting my PC from AC power source. I have tried in BIOS 1) Turning on & off usb 2.0 legacy, usb 3.0 legacy, EHCI hand-off 2) fast boot on & off with usb option on "Full initialisation" 3) gone through safe boot option there's nothing related to usb. I have tried in windows 1) Device Manager 2) Event Viewer Also tried changing to all usb port on motherboard & cabinet. In simple word my usb keyboard not getting power unless unplug & replug.

Mouse, different DPI per axis, high very high, low, great. Razer Death Adder V2 and it is OK, well for me BUT.................................... I want to have "Y" axis frozen, Zero DPI I have done this with auto hotkey, x-mouse and it was OK BUT............................................... Windows respects my efforts and the "Y" axis is fixed and immovable until I need it back. The game, Second Life, just ignores my efforts. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr SO, I need a mouse that sends the correct data, "X" axis at whatever setting I set and the "Y" the same with the option to make it "0" Zero "cero" . OK; I have a bodge that works, Rollerball mouse and gaffer tape, and dust, and dirt and just so many memories of life before optical mice *sighs* SO, is there a gaming mouse, or a non gaming mouse that is game ??? Oh, I am trying to build my own right now but what my mind imagines and what my hands make are often quite different. If it works I will update, as to what it looks like, well, we will see!

Hi, I need to replace my mouse (I'm currently using a mouse from a pre-built from a 10+ years ago) the two mice I’m looking at are the 502 for £29.99 or the Basilisk for £39.99 which is the better mouse for the value as I want to get into playing keyboard and mouse gaming?

Hello LTT community, I need help with choosing a mouse. I RMA'd my Glorious Model O 2 Wireless because of some skipping/stuttering issue and now I need to decide between GPX2 and Viper V2 Pro. The retailer where I did the RMA only has these 2 brands as options so ofcourse I have to make a pick. I tried the DeathAdder and I just don't like the shape and it feels weird in my hands. I had a viper mini before but I think my hand is too big for that. Right now I have a SteelSeries Rival 3 and it's just so hard to find a consistent grip for FPS games. I mainly play Apex Legends so I need a stable mouse that I'm also able to track with. I was leaning towards Razer Viper V2 Pro a lot, but the issue I had on my Viper Mini was when I scrolled down it would scroll up, so I rma'd it and got the steelseries instead (they were out of stock on viper mini's so I had to pick another). A year later I bought a second hand Glorious Model O 2 Wireless for 40 euro (I was freaking shocked) but the owner claimed it was in mint condition and no defects so I was like ok. It was bought less than 6 months ago so it's still under warranty which is why I was able to send it to RMA. Anyways, I really liked the Glorious Model O 2 shape but the holes kinda bothered me. I have tried the regular Viper in the store and it's ok in my hand, I haven't had a chance to try GPX2 shape though. So what I'm looking for is just quality. At this point I just want a mouse that lasts, I don't want to risk double clicking or scroll wheel issues. I've found threads with both of these mice having similar issues or even their own known issues so now I'm just looking for opinions as I'm very indecisive. I'll post my grip type below... Hand measurements: 20x11 centimeters. My grip is somewhere inbetween claw and fingertip I think, the only part of my palm touching the mouse is my pinky knuckle.

When I built my first PC when I was 15 my father gave a a Razer Diamondback Plasma Limited Edition and I have been using it for 9 years now, and the mouse itself is almost 20 years old. And don't get me wrong it does everything I need it to for gaming, working, etc. But I kinda want to replace it now and keep it stored somewhere as it's a cool piece of older tech. But I'd like to replace it with the new Diamondback as I like the shape and feel of the mouse yet I can't find one anywhere to buy where I live (Montenegro). I looked online and didn't really see many for sale, does anyone know where I could get one?

I was just wondering if 500/1000hz polling rate mouse will be beneficial on 75Hz display. Usually I don't play competitive game that much so using an 125hz office mouse never bothered me, But I do see some choppy movement in games when I move the mouse, Though since I'm on 75Hz display can the movement of higher polling rate mouse will make it smoother? here I've recorded a video with fast mouse movement with 125 polling rate Here in this video you can see how the mouse skips and maybe that's why the background feels choppy when I move it fast. There also some video about overclocking mouse polling rates. I've tried that as well on this office mouse. but didn't see any noticeable difference. even though after overclocking it polling rate tester says it's around 1000hz. But to me it feels like same as before, So what's your thought on this, Can getting a high polling rate mouse can make mouse movement perfectly smooth even on 75hz display?

Hey everyone (first time posting here!), Video of my problem: Been having trouble for a while on this one. Anyway, it started a while ago but been mostly playing FPS games (Siege, COD, DRG, Fortnite, Apex etc.) My mouse which was a Logitech G502 X Wired started getting “stuck”. As seen in the video I am not clicking on the mouse however, I am shooting in-game. This isn’t the case of a dirty mouse (at this point I wish it was). Nevertheless, these happen at random and it has never done this until ~1.5 months ago (I got my PC back in September). Solutions I have tried: - Deleting and reinstalling drivers - Cleaning Mouse - Turning off NVIDIA Reflex - Deleting and Reinstalling Logitech G Hub (as well as having the latest update) - Buying a new mouse (Logitech G502 X Plus as seen in video) These “solutions” were from searching up my problem in Google. I am not the best with computers (yet) so I could have accidentally turned something on that could be causing this mouse “sticky click” issue. But I have been doing some testing to see what games this problem occurs in. Games that have this “Sticky Click” problem: - Fortnite = YES (Constant, the game that made me first discover this problem) - THE FINALS = YES (Game only just came out and I have had mouse problems already) - Siege = Most Likely NO (Tried to get it to play up while in the shooting range, I was unable to get it to stick) - Deep Rock Galactic = YES (happened occasionally) - COD BO3 = Most Likely NO (my most played shooter, yet I have never encountered my left/right click sticking) - Apex Legends = Most Likely NO (Again spent roughly 15 minutes in shooting range like Siege trying to get it to stick but to no success) - Garry’s Mod = Most Likely NO (Again spent 15 minutes in-game like Siege and Apex trying to get it to stick but to no success) - Alan Wake 2 = Most Likely NO (just another game I tested but nothing) - Sons of the Forest = Most Likely NO (Again just testing any and every game I have to see if the problem occurs) - Rocket League = NO - Lethal Company = NO - Counter Strike 2 = NO - GTA V = NO - Project Zomboid = NO - The Talos Principle = NO - Geometry Dash = NO Will continue to test games and I’ll update this post when I find something. Assuming I can update this post lol My best guess is that I have accidentally turned something on and I was unaware of this happening. But any help is appreciated, I will be trying anything and everything! TL;DR: Both Left/Right Mouse click become “stuck” and shoot without an input. Numerous games tested and has been happening for nearly 2 months. New mouse bought in that time yet problem still occurs. Tried everything I can do, really need your help on this one! Regards, KӨDΣƧ

Hey all, my close to 8 years old cheap gaming mouse cannot hold the left botton, and I am looking for a replacement. A repairable replacement, wired only or not, weight is no concern. I am sort of comfortable with throughhole soldering, and quite comfortable with screws.

Hello there, I'm new to this forum (long time LTT watcher tho). So hopefully I'm doing this like it is supposed to be used. I'm (sadly) a laptop gamer (3070 mobile + AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, Lenovo). Playing mainly a lot of FPS & story games. My other periphal is a SteelSeries Nova Pro headset. My hands are slightly bigger then average I believe. I'm a fan of the razer deathadder. But after being a bit too rough with it a couple of times (yes, gamer rage) it now randomly disconnects for like half a second every now and then. Quite annoying when you are just in a battle. So I wish to treat myself to a new mouse (hopefully a solid upgrade). After looking into it myself my current options would be: Razer Deathadder V3 Just an straight upgrade to my old V2. Sadly no RGB, that's the only downgrade Razer viper mini Signature Edition Most premium option. Slight worry that it's smaller then I'm used to. Also most expensive one and kinda hard to get Logitech G pro X superlight 2 Bigger & more affordable option to the viper mini SE. Never used logitech products before. Some of my friends aren't big fans of Logitech. They say all of their products have downsides (worse sensors, fragile, bad scrolling wheel.) Not sure if they are correct. But it makes less likely to choose them. Other Razer mouse I did enjoy my razer mouse and my friends also have good experiences with them. A couple of options would be: Basilisk V3 (pro), Viper ultimate & viper 8k or the wireless deathadders. SteelSeries mouse Have no experience with their mice. But I've heard there aerox mice are pretty nice. Which one would be the best one to get? Thanks in advance ~Spartan

I have a Logitech G604 but I don't like the mushy button clicks and scroll wheel. Is there a similar mouse that is wireless and has at least 4 programmable buttons, and this isn't a necessary but I would like a mouse that is a bit larger.

I'm looking for suggestions for a gamijng mouse that will fit my large and honestly fat hands. They're not extremely big, I would consider them just a tad above average. The best mouse I've encounterd that fits my hand the best is the Razer Deathadder V2. I would buy one again, but I'm trying to get away from Razer and their shitty Synapse software, or as I call it 'Prolapse'. Anyways, I'd also prefere if the mouse has a wireless mode with a usb c cable. Thankyou in advance. Any suggestions are appreciated.

So I have a somewhat unusual monitor setup for my PC that allows my mouse to cross over only a small section of my 4k monitor. My question is, is there anyway to set it up for my mouse to be able to cross across the area I drew out with the blue marks without connecting them in the display settings? Ideally I want to keep monitor 3 centered above monitor 1 but still be able to send my mouse cursor from monitor 3 to monitor 2 and vice versa. Is there a way to do this so I don't need to use monitor 1 as the middleman?

Hey all, I am looking for product recommendations for a new mouse. I have been surprised to find some difficulty in finding a good high-end mouse that isn't oriented for FPS gaming these days -- e.g. 'superlight', ambidextrous form factor, honeycomb, etc. I don't play any FPS's beyond a casual level anymore, and I would rather have other quality of life features. I prefer a mouse with: lots of extra buttons, and with a body somewhat larger for my big hands. Thumb and pinky rests are also appreciated but not required. I prefer some weight in my mouse too, and I'm not really interested in honeycomb shells or superlights. As for sensors, most everything these days has plenty of DPI and polling rate to satisfy my needs with those. 2.4GHz wireless with low latency preferred, but I'm willing to entertain wired options. Basically all of these desires are the antithesis to the way the gaming mouse industry has been going, so I've been having trouble finding good options. Here are some past mice I've had Corsair M90 Wired (my favorite all-time) Logitech G502 Proteus Core Wired Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless Corsair Dark Core Wired I am willing to spend as much as necessary to get what I want, as long as it has a good reputation for durability. So far, the option I've found that fits me the best is the Corsair Darkstar. But I'm interested in learning about some lesser known options if they exist.

Currently having a 24 inch 1080p monitor but I'm getting a 24 inch 1440p monitor soon (don't blame me, i can't fit larger ones on my desk). And I'm wondering if I have to adjust my mouse settings for that new monitor so that my cursor moves at the same speed as on the old monitor. Theoretically not, right? Pretty basic question I know but I'm not entirely sure so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Hi, I have recently started having an issue with my Wired Model O. It works completely fine on all my other devices such as my PS4 and other laptops but will not work on my Lenovo Legion laptop (Legion 5 17ARH05H). It was working fine until 2 days ago. I connect the mouse to the USB 3.0 port on my laptop and the RGB turns on ( sometimes starts flickering on and off) but none of the functions are being registered to the laptop, it does not register when I right click or left click the sensor doesn't work either. When I open the glorious Model O software with the mouse plugged in it says ‘device is disconnected’. I don't think it is a problem with my USB ports being faulty because my Glorious Model O Wireless works fine on my Laptop (in wired and wireless mode). I have had this glorious model O wired mouse and the Lenovo Legion for 6 months. Sorry if i have created this post under the wrong section as I am not sure if its an issue with the mouse or Laptop. I can upload pictures and videos if needed, Thanks.

I click a lot and I need to right click constantly in League of Legends. My best mouse is the one I have used in the past is the Logitech M330, just a small office mouse. I have tried the Logitech G Pro X Superlight and Logitech G203 but the mouse button part is not sensitive enough, it takes more force to click and thus I need a soft/light clicking mouse. I currently can click like 15-20% more within e.g. 5 seconds with the office mouse that has soft/light clicking mechanics compared to the Pro X Superlight and G203 ironically. But I need a new mouse as my current one sometimes staggers and skips and lags in game and it gets even worse in environments with lots of electronics such as LAN events or when there are dozens of electronic devices in the same room. My hands are 18.5cm/10cm so medium sized but I use a fingertip grip style which means I often prefer smaller mouses. I would like any recommendation as I have no preference for the mouse, I need a new one for practicality. The 'soft/light' part refers only to the mouse button mechanic and I dont care if the sound is loud or not, I really just need one for practicality. I have been browsing over the past month or so and I read that the Orochi V2 mouse buttons are too hard. I am currently looking at the Cooler Master MM720 as its a small mouse and I have not yet read anything bad about it yet. Please help me with further suggestions.

I play this game called osu, and most people use a tablet, but I use a mouse. Tablets record positional input, but mice only record velocity, so if the measurement is off by a little bit, it'll add up over time. Plus, I feel like if the mouse rotates a little bit in your hand, that'll mess up the position too. In osu, I've wanted to get into this mod called no-scope where your cursor turns invisible until you miss a note. That means I won't be able to check the cursor's position to make adjustments. Does anyone know if modern gaming mice are accurate enough that you could play through an entire song like that? The specific mouse I'm using is the Razer Viper 8k. no-scope.mp4 I recorded this video to show what I mean, I probably should have picked an easier song though. Also, I use a very high sensitivity: 3200dpi on 1080p.

Need recommendations for best extremely-low budget gaming mouse under $25 USD. Would prefer RGB, playing relatively light games, don't give a damn about weight (though under 100g would be nice?). Oh, also - if it's white, it's for me.

mouse Glorious Model O (Wired) "lagging" at 1000hz polling rate?
yakalelo posted a topic in Peripherals
Hi guys! This have been a problem I've had since I got this mouse, probably like 7-8 months ago. When I first got this mouse, I noticed I could put the Polling rate at 1000hz, which is pretty good, so I did put my polling rate at this level. But, the thing is, that my mouse has some "lags" when using this polling rate. Indeed, when moving my mouse around with my polling rate level at 1000hz, for some reason, my mouse lags. I'll put some videos below so you guys can notice what's the problem and probably tell me how to fix it. 1000hz.mp4 500hz.mp4
