Every now and again, the leaks and rumors move aside as something more solid appears, usually when a retailer pulls the trigger a bit too early. This time around, it was Motorola that tripped up, with the Moto G making a brief appearance on its website today next to the Moto X before being pulled. Though there wasn’t any data with the listing, it did lend some tidbits of info. The discovery was made by the folks at DroidLife, and they managed to grab a screenshot of the listing before Motorola pulled it, which you can see above. The link wasn’t clickable, it would seem, but the fact that it was listed next to the Moto X suggests that we’re looking at an entirely different device rather than a Moto X variation with lower specifications, which is what some anticipate. Some have speculated that the Moto G could be an accessory, but as you can see in the screenshot, there is a separate link specifically for accessories, and as such it wouldn’t make much sense for the Moto G to have its own slot on the headline. Whether the positioning itself of the device name is suggestive of its nature isn’t known — being first in line could simply mean it is the newest handset that will surface. The listing popping up hints that Motorola is doing some work behind the scene, and so it is reasonable to think we’ll be hearing something official about the phone in the relatively near future. This device has appeared in the United States Trademark registration archive with word only of the possibility of it being a smartphone. Rumor has it that this is one of two Motorola smartphones being revealed in the span of the next several months, with a new flagship smartphone appearing for sale in early 2014. Word from overseas suggests that the Moto G is none other than the DVX, a Motorola device we’ve been tracking for several weeks. This machine also goes by codename Motorola XT1032 / XT1033, which, if you have a peek at the Brazilian Agency of Telecommunications, of all places, you’ll find connection to both the DVX and the Moto G. Thanks to a quick find by the folks at PenguinsF, we see the approval of such devices suggesting the following: “Product models XT1033 and XT1032 appear marketed with the name MOTO G” (rough translation) This Moto G machine will work with lower-end specifications and a price not unlike the least expensive Nexus smartphones from Google. This “DVX” appeared in the FCC earlier this year while several images of a slightly different back panel for the device have shown up several times over the past few weeks. Meanwhile there’s also word that Motorola will push out a flagship iteration of what’s presented in the Moto X in the first quarter of 2014. This release would come in the form of a device not all that unlike the DROID Ultra (reviewed by SlashGear), though it’s suggested that this iteration could move forward with a higher-powered Qualcomm processor integrated in with the Motorola X8 compute system. On the other hand, its known that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC does have built-in (albeit unused in any phone up to this point) abilities to work with always-on voice activation. Whether Motorola would choose to use this system or continue rolling with the technology they’ve got now is yet unknown. The first sighting of the Moto G trademark – as spotted by Phandroid – did not have any connection to any previously known code-names for devices. It did have connection, on the other hand, to a tip sent out to Droid Life that a “Moto G” would be coming to Verizon sooner than later. A third suggestion has to do with the lowering of prices on the entire 2013 line of Motorola DROID devices. Each of these machines work with the same abilities as the Moto X, voice activation and all, making it quite likely that any adjustment in price could be a precursor for a similar move for the multi-carrier smartphone. If the Moto X is given a price-cut here in 2013, it’d make room for a several-tiered system in which the Moto G is the surprisingly-inexpensive tier, the Moto X is the mid-tier, and the top-tier is the yet-unnamed headliner Motorola smartphone. Although this is not really new information, there wasn't a post about it on the forum yet so I though I'd make one. The Moto X successor, dubbed the Moto X+1 (Too many "one" names for phones these days) is rumored to be released in August or September this year. The rumored specs of the Moto X+1 are as follow: Design: 5.2 inches (13.2 cm) Display: 1920 X 1080 (possibly AMOLED) Processor: 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 RAM: 2GB Storage: 32GB Camera: 12MP Rear Camera, 5MP Front Camera Battery: 2900mAh Price: $400 May come with microSD support of up to 128GB cards. Image: Moto X+1 in a case: Many people are complaining about the increase in the phone size, since the Moto X was a good size and fit, I agree as well. The 1080p display is nice as well as the increase in battery size. It is unknown if the display will be AMOLED as I have yet to find a source that states that it will be. This will be an interesting year for phones as the iPhone 6, Nexus 6, and Moto X+1 seem promising. And yes, the Nexus lineup isn't dead yet. So i am thinking about getting the Motorola Moto G and i have seen they have released a 4G version do u think the extra £40 i worth it? also note that my area dose not have 4G YET i am hoping it will in the future.

I have a Moto X on Verizon, and it seems to be stuck on Android 4.2.2. I've tried many times to "check for updates," and I keep getting an error. I've restarted and tried many times, but I've had the same result. I've looked all over the internet, and I can't get it to update. I've tried clearing the data on and force stopping Google Services Framework. Still the same result

After many years of use, my trusty Motorola Razr V3 died. So I guess, it's time to catch up with the future and get my self a smartphone. What I want is an Android phone, with good internet connection (4G?) and a price tag of 100-150 euros (~135-200 dollars). The main use it'll get is phone calls, texts and being used as an access point for my Nexus 10. I've been looking at the Nexus 4 and 5 (too pricey for my budget) and the Moto G (barely in my budget, as it's 200$, without the almost certain additional shipping and taxes). Taking in consideration the use I want it for, the price tags seem a bit off, but I want a phone that I'll keep for years on end (like my Rarzr). Anyone got any good alternatives to propose? Or opinions on the for mentioned (especially MotoG).

First, enflish not my first language, sorry for misspelling and formar errors. Right now im buying a "corven triax 150cc" and i was wondering, ¿can you "turbocharge" that engine with a blowymatron?. In my country (argentina) theres not a lot of places to "dyno" a car, less a motorcycle. The place that does that is 250km of where i live, so zero chances, but it will be a good proyect to see if it can be done or if it will yield any increase (or decrease) in power. Also, those coolers are extremely rare and if you can source one (i already checked), it will cost arround 30k (at conversion rates it will be arround 150 us dollars) and no less than 30 days to arrive. It will be cool to se someone trying this.

I need something that I can use with my iPhone to mainly control Musik and another big thing is a waking funktion, I'm a deep sleeper. It should have a screen to tell the time and best with color. What would you guys recommend? Not to expensive an apple watch would fall in that category.
