I’ve had my pc for years now. About a year ago, I thought my onboard wifi stopped working so I’ve been using an Ethernet cable. I finally got sick of running it from my room to the router whenever I wanted to game and wanted an upgrade anyways so got a new mobo with a tp link wifi card. I finished putting everything together and had one monitor plugged in, ran a Speedtest and was getting 400mbs download. So I hook it up to the rest of my setup and I get no internet. I then realized if I only have one monitor plugged in it’s fine, regardless of hdmi or display port, but once I plug it a second, it goes out. I know it’s not an issue with the wifi card (txe72e) or graphics card (3070ti) but no clue what’s happening. I read it could be some kind of antenna interference issue, but why would work it work fine with one cable plugged in, and not the others?

Budget (including currency): upto $300 (AUD) Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Office work Other details: I currently have 2x 27" monitors, and looking to get an additional/3rd monitor, however it'll be ultra wide between 44" to 49". The configuration I'm looking for are the 2 x 37" Inch monitors at the top, And the Ultrawide on the bottom as my main. I can only seem to find 1x monitor arm per 1x Ultrawide. Or 3x monitor arms at upto ~32" inch. Can anyone assist finding 1 monitor arms that supports 3x of the mentioned monitor sizes? I'm looking to spend upto $300 AUD. Thx in advanced.

Ok, so I've seen a few similar threads, but no definitive answer... Built this pc only weeks ago with brand new parts, did all the usual set up, updated BIOS, installed drivers etc... all working fine, then the first time I have the system running 3 monitors for more than 5 minutes, main monitor goes black. Odd part is, the pc still recognised the monitor as connected, the other 2 monitors still acted as though the display extended to the 1st monitor, and the 1st monitor was still shown in display settings. When it happens, the monitor's power button doesn't do anything, it remains lit (in white as though it's awake, instead of amber as though it was asleep) and the only way to get it running again is to disconnect the monitor's power and then reconnect. I've been troubleshooting for 2 days straight, attempts as follows: Restarted Unplugged and restarted Swapped cables (same monitor went black) Updated BIOS Windows update Checked event log (nothing significant) Tested monitor with another pc Sfc test (no issues) Memtest diagnostic (no errors) DDU then clean driver install EC reset Haven't had any luck; the screen blacks out anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours after a boot, no consistency. I've run the pc with task manager and other monitoring software open to try and spot CPU, GPU and RAM performance at the time of a black out, but nothing significant there... CPU temps average about 65°C and GPU about 55°C from what I've seen. Curiously, I had no issues when only 2 monitors were connected, but my GPU should be able to handle 4! Hardware: Asus Pro Art X670e creator wifi Ryzen 9 7900x (BIOS Versionm 1904) AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX G Skill Trident z5 2x 32Gb DDR5 4800MHz Be Quiet 1000W PSU HP 23xi monitors x3 DP to HDMI cables x2 HDMI to HDMI cable x1 If someone has a fix, I will be forever grateful!

Hi all, At the moment I have my main pc connected to two monitors, an LG with 1920x1080 resolution and an old Acer with 1360x768 resolution (through a vga-display port adapter). The problem is that when I disconnect the LG monitor, I stop getting video on the other display, looking at the settings in the nvidia control panel the resolutions match the necessary, and I do not know if at the time of disconnecting that configuration is changing and hence the input is not valid. Any advice to be able to use the main pc only with the old monitor? PC Specs: Graphics Card: Rtx 3060 12gb Ram: 16 ram CPU: Ryzen 5600g

I am trying to configure my desktop to run Sunshine stream server so I can play games on my TV. I got it all working for the most parts. The last remaining issue I am trying to figure out is how to get the EDID dummy display to not be included with the other monitors in the Windows desktop. I had seen a number of posts on YouTube and on various forums that show in Windows 11 there is supposed to be an option called "Remove display from desktop" under the advanced settings of the display properties. When I go to the display properties on my machine for any of the monitors that option doesn't exist, It's just flat out gone. As I started looking for answers I was wondering if this was a feature that was disabled or removed in my version of Windows 11. My desktop is running release 23H2. As a comparison I checked my work computer which is running 22H2. Low and behold the option is present in the advanced display settings. So, now it begs the question, what is going on here? Does anyone know how I can get that feature back on my desktop? Is there any 3rd party software that can replace what appears to have been removed? Perhaps an options deep inside of windows that can do this like a PowerShell module or a registry key?

I need a new monitor and I am deciding between an AOC Q27G2S/EU or an LG UltraGear 27GR75Q-B. This is my pc build http.s://be.pcpartpicker.com/list/DQdDh3. Other suggestions are always welcome! Some requirements: €300 budget At the very least 75Hz, preferably 144hz+ This will be my main monitor, I have some other monitors to use (MEDION 23.6" TFT Monitor MD20110, HP Pavilion 2159v monitor) for a dual setup (maybe even triple setup :D) Usage: coding/web development, music production with ableton, some casual gaming every now and then (no AAA games), watching movies 24" or larger 1920x1080 or higher Don't really care about IPS/VA, as I've read mixed things about both FreeSync (I'm using AMD, I've read G-Sync is not compatible with AMD?) My rooms lighting is setup with two skylight windows, kinda like this Skylights.jpg , so most of the day my room is decently bright

I am looking to get a new monitor for my PC. In general, I do not know much about monitors and would like some assistance in choosing one. One of the most important things I am looking for in a monitor is the ability to play dart games with greater clarity. Whenever I play a game with a dark area and a bright light in the middle, the entire dark area becomes harder to see as a result. While I have researched IPS, OLED, and microLED, I am still not sure which to choose due to the pros and cons of each. Here are some small things I am also looking for the monitor to have: -Min of 144Hz -at least 1 DisplayPort and HDMI -Contrast Ratio over 1,000:1 (I prefer not dynamic) - High Display Colors - I would like speakers built but i can go without them - would like 4k but ill be okay with smaller resolution if it cost too much I got my budget is over a $1k usd but I honestly would prefer to find something not around a $1k. I would like to have some money left over so I can buy more stuff for my computer. Some things I'll be using the monitor for is gaming, art and 3d modeling

I have my 3080 connected to 2 monitors and 2 Tvs. Since i don't always use the 1 of the TVs i leave it off most of the time, but every time i turn it on, even if im not using the input from the TV, all my monitors will freeze for about 1~2 mins. While frozen, sound and presumably other functions/programs continue to run, but all video is frozen to the last frame before the tv turning on. It also exhibits the same issues when unplugging and re-plugging in said TV. I've checked event viewer and i've tried searching some stuff up, no solutions seemed to have worked. I've obviously done the simple stuff like, updating all drivers, DDUing and reinstalling, clearing CMOS, stuff like that. So if anyone here has an idea/solution, please lmk. (I tried it once @ ~11:50 and once @ ~12:50 PC Specs: (all stock) r7 5800x 3080 32 gb ram (ddr4, 3600mhz) Monitor 1 Specs: 1440p, 144hz Monitor 2 Specs: 1440p, 75hz TV 1 Specs: (this is the one that causes everything to freeze) 4k, 60hz (but other resolutions/refresh rates diidt help) TV2 Specs: like 640x480, idk tbh (its a crt)

Hey All! Just a preface, my system is a ryzen 3 3300x, 32gb ram, 750watt power suply, and evga nvidia 670. I have 3 monitors, 1 (27" 1080p monitor), 1 (27" 1440p monitor), and 1 (34" ultrawide 1440p monitor). I know my GPU is absolutely underpowerd for this, so I plan on upgrading to an rx6600 soon, but for now, I have a couple questions. Does the 600 series have surround? On the surround page on the nvidia website, it says 700 series or newer, but the page for the 670 claims that it has surround. Additionally, If i turn down both 27" monitors to 1920x1080p and the 34" monitor to 2560x1080p, can I run surround? could I just make the game windowed mode and stretch it out, or is there a way to run full screen (perferred) Thanks! Also, if I need to use 3 different cables, 1 dp for the ultrawide, an hdmi for the 1440p 27", and a dvi for the 1080p 27", would that work?

Hi everyone, my first post but a long channel follower! So i have this MSI G273QF display that i bought last year mostly for playing (and coping my skill issues) rhythm games and i'm quite happy with it, the jump from my old 60hz was astounding. But then i had this question bugging me and started to look if it was feasible to maybe overclock it into higher refresh rates, the reson would be for having a more competitive gameplay (and more coping) since in Osu! you can extract some value by having the fluidest response time possible, and also by not straining the eyes so much with the blurs of the notes on the higher AR (Approaching Rate) gameplays. Soon enough my hopes were crushed when i discovered that 1440p165hz was the bandwith limit of the DisplayPort 1.2 the monitor is running into. Not quite satisfied i tried to search if i could perhaps downgrade the resolution (maybe to 1080p even) and try to crank up the Hertzes, but due to the specific nature of it and also since i'm not quite versed on this subject i couldn't find any complete answer, and i'm also afraid of YOLO trying it without more info first what i could expect and/or if it's safe to do it haha Perhaps someone here already tried it, or maybe someone more knowledgeable on the topic could reply, so i could finally (try to accept my lack of skills) get an answer. Thanks in advance for any piece of info!

First time poster here, I just recently won a Lenovo Y25g-30 (1080p 360Hz) from a giveaway and was eager to try it out only for it not to work when set to a refresh rate above 120Hz. Symptoms include: Extreme rapid screen flickering at 144 - 300Hz, Complete black screen when set to 360Hz "Display connection might be limited" error in windows notifications My old monitor ran at 244Hz without any issues for 4 years I have all my drivers up to date and have tried reinstalling I have tried both the DP cable used with my old monitor and the new one that came with my Y25g-30 I have installed Lenovo control panel, it picks up the monitor just fine but changing the Hz there yields the same results says the firmware is up to date tried with G-Sync and Vsync off and have the same issues just with added screen tearing Warframe randomly worked when set at 240Hz but black screened when set to 360Hz. All other games flicker at above 120Hz I have tried unplugging all my other monitors and have the same issues I use an RTX 2080 I am on Windows 10 I'm out of ideas here. I have tried to do my own research but there simply isn't much information on the Y25g-30 out there. I found a few forums with people having my same issue but no one was ever able to help them. I have worked on this thing for over 6 hours across 3 days with no progress made. I have consulted friends with much more knowledge on these matters than me but they are also stumped. Any advice/ help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, so I found some monitors on Facebook marketplace. potentially 4 monitors, all almost same price and similar etc. i don’t really care if it’s 24 or 27in, just the one with good gaming performance, good colour and video quality. 1, ASUS 27 TUF Gaming VG27VQ 2, ASUS 24 TUF Gaming VG249Q 3, MSI Optix Gaming G241 4, LG 27GL650F in my opinion, I like LG and MSI more as the LG is 1440p but I don’t know which one has the best colour, performance and display quality here. thank you, very much appreciated

Hello, I would like help regarding what is happening to my monitor screen, yesterday it was working fine and today I turned it on and it looks like this. I already disconnected all the cables (HDMI, Displayport) to see if it was a problem with the connection ports but the screen still looks the same. Do you have a solution or should I think about buying another monitor? The model is a Lg 24mp59g IPS panel IMG_6580.mov

Hey everyone, so I just got a second monitor for my setup and I am having trouble getting it to line up with my old monitor. the new one is 4k and the old one is not. In the settings they are showing as two different size monitors even though they are both 32 inches. I know this has to do with resolution, but is there any way to get windows to recognize the monitors as the same size without sacrificing quality on my new monitor. thanks for the help.

Hey, So last time I was having problems with my M27Q. I had 2 M27Q, and the 2nd monitor was the one having trouble. WhatsApp Video 2023-09-05 at 9.04.42 AM (1).mp4 Fortunalety I used the warranty and bought another monitor (a samsung G70B). Now, my main monitor was the other M27Q that had no issue. Now I'm daily driving the G70B as main monitor and M27Q as 2nd. But, the M27Q has started to show the same flickering issues than the last. one. WhatsApp Video 2023-09-16 at 7.17.20 PM.mp4 Now, that's weird since this was my main monitor and it didn't had any issues in the las 2 year i had it. So I'm starting to think the issue is my GPU. I tried the HDMI port and the 3rd DP port in the GPU, but none is working. Only the 1st and 2nd port seem to work, and the issues seem to appear when both monitors are connected. Cables are working (tried on a laptop) and the M27Q seems to work fine when display image from my work laptop. I'm not that knowledgeable so I'm now doubting if the GPU is the problem or maybe the PSU isn't enough? If any has any idea I'll be happy to listen to them. Thanks! My specs are: - GPU: 3070 Ventus 2x - CPU: i5-10400F - PSU: EVGA 650W Gold - RAM: 4x8gb DDR4 Kingston - Motherboard: ASUS Z490-Plus - Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S

20230829_162805.mp4 Hi...sorry if my English is not good but I will try my best to describe the problem with my monitor. I bought a new monitor - the LG 27GP850-B, after a week of using it, these black boxes appeared on the screen (in the video) when I was using the monitor for Word, but then I switched to Paint...more of them appeared. Later, I contacted my retail store for a new one, but the monitor was out of stock, so they sent it to LG for 1-1 exchange, in the meantime, the store let me use another 27inch monitor until my LG is back. However, when I was using the borrowed monitor from the store, even though there wasn't any black box on the screen, sometimes the screen just flickering, and I can see lots of black boxes...like only in 0.001s. Those problems never occurred when I used my old monitor - a budget 24inch monitor I bought for 120$. My specs is under here: AMD RYZEN 5 - 2600 16GB OF RAM DDDR4 2666 ASUS Dual GeForce RTX™ 3060 V2 12GB GDDR6 128GB SSD 1 TB HDD 750W PSU FROM COSAIR

Hey, so I have a bit of an interesting situation here: I've got a quadruple monitor setup but I have three that are together at one desk and a separate monitor at a different desk for productivity. I'm wondering if there's some type of display switcher that I can use to completely disable the other three monitors and have the fourth be the only active output. As of right now the only way I could do that would be to unplug the other three monitors every time I use the other one which is obviously pretty inconvenient and annoying to do each time, let alone a little janky. Turning off the other three monitors doesn't actually remove them as outputs so that isn't a solution either. If there's anything out there that exists like that or some way I could set this up please let me know. I'm pretty tech-savvy so if there's a DIY solution someone can think of I'd be willing to try that as well. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi LTT forum! I just got my new ASUS TUF Gaming VG279Q1A and I'm very happy with it. But yesterday it started glitching! there were lines across the screen, and it did it for a minute or two and then stopped. the problem accrued today too. Does anyone have any idea of what is causing this? It's only a few weeks old.

Danish tech retailer Proshop has started showing electricity consumption efficacy on their monitors https://www.proshop.dk/Skaerm?o=2052&pn=6 The best efficiency monitor has rank C efficiency. Is it that impossible to create an energy efficient panel? I feel like every monitor is stuck at incandescent light bulb efficiency level. Not talking about the cheep ones only, expensive new models are almost the worst when it comes to it. Every one of them produce more heat than what seems reasonable, have minimal cooling and (correct me if I am wrong) have the most shit tier power supply inside. Would love to get some insight on why is that and would love to see if someone makes a video or has already made with a proper monitor cooling solution.

Hello, as the title suggests, I have a weird white spot with a small group of red pixels on it. I'm confused as this was not there a few hours ago earlier today. Haven't done anything at all but close the lid. When I turn the screen off, there isn't any crack or spot at all. What exactly is it, is it a big deal, and is there anyway to reduce it? Currently don't have much money for repairs right now.
