I have tried updating drivers re plugging everything, restarting and nothing seems to get rid of them they are not showing up when the PC is turned off and they are weirdly similar to the color of my background (that's why I was thinking that it could also be Windows somehow) but if I have other apps open I can still see them, I noticed my colors were fucked a few hours ago in my background it was all distorted and then I restarted everything back to normal but those green dots, side note is that my screen sometimes freezes and starts glitching (like matrix glitches type thing idk how to explain better) and the only thing that fixes it is unplugging power and plugging it back but that has been happening some time and it never had the green dots so I'm not sure if it's related probably? I need help this shit is annoying

Hello, I'm looking for a flat 31,5/32 inch (or even bigger if my wanted specs fit lol) monitor with 120hz which is available in Germany or anywhere close to Germany but honestly, just anywhere is already a start. The monitor being flat, not curved and having at least 120hz is very important because I want to game in my bed on my PS5. I see 4K ones but they get really pricy. If getting one from a different country or even overseas is as expensive as a 4K 120hz one, then I might have to bite the sour apple here... I saw the ASUS TUF Gaming VG32AQA1A but I don't think 320€ is a good price. Or maybe it is? It's the only one I saw so maybe it is a good price. Curved 2K panels with 144hz on 27 inches go for 180€ - 220€. So 320€ just for 170hz and 32 inches seem like a ripoff to me. Or maybe someone can share their experience with a curved screen in bed? Preferable having tried it with a partner. If I lay on my bed alone then it's probably fine but next to each other and being offset to the screen? I'm not sure. I've never been into curved screen either way. Thanks in advance!

Oh and recently i got a brand new PSU that i won (FSP Hydro Ti PRO ATX 3.0 1000W 80+ titanium) so i wont be needing any, since i can just use this one. For CPU i dont know what to go with. Should i buy a ryzen 7800x3d/7950x or should i wait for the 14th gen intel which comes out soon? So i have an 240hz Alienware monitor that has been running 240hz for about a year now with no issues. Its plugged into a 2070 super with a Dp cable. Up until about a week ago randomly my monitor turned off, then back on and now its been on 144hz since. Ive tried a different cable, different spot on the graphics card, updating drivers, using DDU, and no luck. Is the monitor just not gonna work on 240hz at this point? Not sure what to do, any help much appreciated. :)

Hallo Sers i experience this specific problem When my computer is idle and turns off the monitors, all of them go blank and then the backlight turns off as expected. However, a few minutes later, one of them, the ASUS PG329Q awakens, and flashes the indication displayport, but the backlight turns on and stays on forever. All of my monitors (three of them) are connected to my GPU via DP cables. None of the other monitors presents this problem. Seems to be a very common problem for various monitor models, when the monitor is connected via DP. I recently bought my first WQHD monitor, it's connected to my computer via DisplayPort. I'm confused about the option to set resolutions higher than my monitor supports in Windows screen settings or games. This was not the case on my previous FHD monitor. When I choose for example 3840x2160 resolution, the image becomes blurry and the monitor frequency drops to 60Hz. How can I disable unnecessary screen resolutions so that they are not available for selection neither in windows nor in games? Is it just me or everyone who has a 1440P monitor?

Hey there everyone, I'm currently looking for a decent TV or Monitor which will purely be used with a Fire TV Stick and occasionally my Nintendo Switch when docked. I don't watch any regular Television channels, so I'm unsure if purchasing a Television would be worth it in the first place. Currently, I use a 1080p Philips TV from 2012 with 3 bright dots. I don't think trying to fix a 2012 TV that was considered "budget" back in that decade is worth it, haha. It doesn't need to be high refresh rate, low response time or anything like that. I will mainly use it to watch YouTube/Twitch at night and sometimes use my Switch docked (which I only play Pokémon and Animal Crossing on…). Some half decent colour accuracy would be appreciated. Does not need to be "smart" as I will use my Fire TV Stick Does not inbuilt-speakers as I will hook up external ones. As 80% of the time I use it as background ambiance like playing a 24/7 fireplace stream, something like "ambilights" would be cool but no needed. Being able to control it (volume & source input) is preferred. I live in The Netherlands. Requirements: Budget is 280euro Between 28 - 32 inch (larger won't fit) 50Hz+ would be great.. What do you guys think?

Hey guys, Last night my monitor started flickering and then completely losing image. I thought it was a faulty DP connector, but changing the cable didn't help. My primary monitor, another M27Q, works fine and I had no problem with it. I tried changing the DP port to test but it still was unsuccessful. Has anyone had any similar problems? When I go to use my computer after it has fallen asleep the background, taskbar, and icons on my desktop are all messed up. The picture shows what it usually looks like or similar. I've tried adjusting all sleep settings, I even reinstalled windows this past spring and still no change. I'm at a loss for what else to do. I feel like it could be one of my monitors, its an acer xz242Q and I may have had issues with it since then. Installing drivers did not help. Seriously, I want help with this cause I have no clue. Hi! I am experiencing an issue with the refresh rate when running Ryujinx in fullscreen. I have a 144Hz LG monitor, but since emulating in Ryujinx works smoothest with 60Hz, I change the refresh rate of my monitor before I play. The problem is, as soon as I run Ryujinx in fullscreen, the refresh rate defaults back to 144Hz and all my games feel stuttery, I guess due to bad frame pacing. I've tried different DP and HDMI cables, different ports on my GPU (RX 6600), reinstalling Windows clean and creating custom resolutions in AMD software. Nothing worked. Did anyone experience these issues before and might have any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? I've submitted requests to the Ryujinx team as well, but I got no reply so far.

Recommendations for a good 32 inch TV, that will also use as a monitor. I'm looking for at least 1080, 32 inch, IPS, HDR. For under $200. I just bought a TCL 32S350G. Even after messing around with picture modes and settings, picture still don't look good. Looks washed out. Even after I shut off all the processing crap. And was using movie mode. Color temp is off. I put it on 0, it have a slight blue hue. I put it on -1, it have a slight yellow hue to it. Whites are not white. Watching baseball just sucks. Looks like they they are hitting 3 or 4 pitches. All content have judder or stutter. Don't really know the different between them. On my older TCL, I had no problem with that. Except on Linus's video's. But all other video was fine. Sitting in bed using it, I can see light bleed, and like the middle top 1/3, I can see a dark spot, I don't know what it's called. I hook it up to my PC and do that ufo test. I put it on 1 ufo, it shows 3 of them. TCL may make good TV's. But that may seem like only at the higher end. This panel just sucks. I did get the color to as close as possible. I went and Googled my house and used Google maps and fix the color. I got it close. But then those blue recycling bins, was still too blue. Watching YouTube reviews, they used hundreds of dollars worth of calibration tools to make it look good. I was looking at Vizio and Hisense sub $200 TV's. Lots of reviews were good. But also lots of 1 star reviews talking about how bad the pictures and colors are. My older TV was a 720 TCL, and the colors on there were good. It just looked washed out when you look at it from the sides. That was almost a 9 year old TV. Seems like they just used better panels back then. Should I up my budget to like $250-$300? There's only a handful of TV's that I found that is 1080. There's a lot more 720. But I can see the difference between 720 and 1080. It seems like all these stores put the display models in demo mode. It seems that they may be custom calibrated. So they look way different at home. Also why is sub $200 monitors good, but no TV's? Hell, even $100 monitors are good.

Hi guys, I just got a new monitor and when I connected it to my laptop I noticed it says "connected to Intel(R) UHD Graphics" on the Display advanced settings, is there any way I could change that to be connected to the RTX card I have on my laptop? I suspect that might be one of the possible reasons I'm not able to get more Hz from my monitor (I'm currently getting 99Hz on a 144Hz monitor. I know it might be some other thing, but trying to figure that part out for now)

Hi, i really don't know where to seek help so i'm writing here. i hope you guys will be able to help me! i am running 4 monitors on a gigabyte gaming 4090, previously i used to have a strix 3090 and didn't have this problem, untill the card fried and i had to change it. my problem consists in being unable to select 10bpc on my main monitor, it's the only monitor running in 4k and it's an acer predator XB273KGPbmiipprzx. On my 3090 things would boot up like normal, the other 3 monitors would be in 1080p 60hz and my main monitor would be in 4k 60hz at 10bpc. as soon as i switched to this 4090, every monitor boots like normal bar for my main, it goes to 59.997 10 bpc. This of course wouldn't be a big problem, but as soon as i try to change the refresh rate to 60hz it goes down to 8bpc. and if i try to change the refresh rate to 119,910hz (120 of course) it reverts immediately to 60hz. This got me wondering if it was a cable problem, but this occured as soon as swapping gpus. i did change the cable after, but it was a problem that already presented itself even without a new cable. When i unplug the screen and plug it back again, i am able to select 4k 60hz 10bpc and even go to 4k 120hz 8bpc. This got me thinking that when my pc boots, the screen is "stuck" in DP 1.2 mode, even if the OSD says it's on 1.4 i am theorizing this because the behaviour i described is that of a monitor in DP 1.2 mode (as far as my knowledge goes at least, feel free to correct me please i am desperate for a solution) . However when i plug it back in, as i said, it suddenly behaves like DP 1.4 and my options are all back. I can even open the monitor OSD and fiddle with the DP 1.1/1.2/.14 setting, it will work (i guess because it counts as unplugging and plugging it back in). i am at my wit's end, i am not an expert by any means and i feel like i have exhausted my possibilites, google wasn't much help, the fact that i didn't know how to explain it properly for a search to be successful certainly contributed. I don't know if they can help troubleshoot, but this are some of my specs (if you guys need any more just tell me and i will provide!): Motherboard: Asus dark hero VIII Ram: G.Skill F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC Gpu: Gigabyte Gaming 24gb 4090 (not OC) Cpu: ryzen 9 5950X Already tried the DDU drill and that didn't help. Hey Everyone I have a really old Monitor, 1080p 60hz ~~ 120hz (marketing), an old 3d Asus VG278H. I bought it about 10 years ago and its still going strong, but i want an upgrade. My current Graphics card is an Asus RTX2060 6GB OC, since i will be upgrading my monitor i think i should upgrade my graphics card too as it might struggle with newer monitors. I haven't decided on a new monitor as of yet, but i will most likely go 1440p, 144hz, as I've read that's a good jump from 60hz. The Graphics card i am thinking of is a 3080, its a nice jump from my 2060, or would it be worth my while going straight to the 40 series, like a 4070. I am kind of budget conscience, i don't want to spend lots of money on a 4090, as i probably wont use it to its full potential. I play games, currently playing Diablo 4, i will play Starfield when it comes out, and will probably get into Baldur's Gate at some point. I mainly use my computer for watching content, with the odd gaming, when a title comes out i like. I'm not competitive, so i don't need the bee's knees. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 144 Hz was working fine until a few days back, when I noticed all games were running at 60Hz. And now it seems I cant change from 60Hz to 144 Hz at all. It gives me a black screen with a line of display up top. Please help I donot know what to do.

I am currently using a Giada G330 (a commercial computer) which has an Intel 6th Gen CPU and an AMD HD7750 discrete GPU. We have 4 of these to display to 24 monitors currently, 6 on each computer. The AMD GPU supports up to 6 DisplayPort outputs and the computer also has 6 of these ports at the back. I would like to aggregate this into 1 PC. I am trying to find some solution or hardware that lets me use 1 PC that can display to all 24 monitors at once. Each screen needs to be independent i.e., not duplicated screens, imagine a dual monitor setup at someone's office desk but now with 24 monitors. Is this possible and if so what hardware will be needed to achieve it. Cost is not an issue since this is for an industrial application. But keeping costs low would be nice. I cannot come up with anything other than using multiple PCs as we are now. Perhaps the use of a motherboard that allows 4 GPUs to be connected and utilize all the ports on all the GPUs?

Hi all, so I bought a 32" Samsung G5 odyssey and when it arrive I noticed certain shades of black being slightly greenish. So I decided to return it and get send a replacement seeing as that one was faulty. So yesterday I got my new one and set it up only to see the exact same thing happening on the new one. So now I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue with a monitor or what the issue could possibly be

I've had this problem for a while with my Asus monitor Anytime i put any refresh rate above 60 hz, screen goes partially or fully black Previously it was just a small portion that later went away but now it seems like it is staying Monitor has not had any punches, water or visible damage. Today I bought the Apple Lightning to Digital AV HDMI Adapter (the original one for 700 SEK (70 USD)). It worked with my iPhone 12 Pro Max for the first hour, but when I disconnected it and later tried to re-connect it it wont detect it no matter what. I've tried...: Disconnecting and reconnecting the adapter multiple times. - DIDN'T WORK. Swap out the HDMI cable. - DIDN'T WORK. Connect it to multiple different monitors. - DIDN'T WORK Connect it to an iPhone 13 Pro and an iPhone XR. - WORKED! The lightning port on my iPhone 12 Pro Max is fine, it can receive power with no problem and output sound to headphones when using wired Lightning EarPods. There's nothing stuck inside the lightning port. I've tried disconnecting the iPhone 13 Pro and an iPhone XR multiple times but they seem to work every time (they're my mom's and dad's so I can't test them for multiple hours since they're not my phones). iPhone 12 Pro Max is running iOS 16.6, iPhone 13 Pro is also iOS 16.6 and the XR is running iOS 16.5.1.

Hello There, I recently purchased LG ultragear 24GN65R, but when I connect it to my pc, it says "no signal detected". I tried both Display port and HDMI port, I even tried another HDMI cable to see if cable is damaged, but none of them worked. My gpu is 1050 ti. My old monitor works perfectly but it is connected via Dvi port. Perhaps problem is my gpu ports? I tried to connect my old monitor with HDMI instead of DVi and it didn't work. Any ideas?

I have a Samsung 2494HM Monitor that my neighbor gave me because it had stopped working and be bought a new one. I have done some research and have come to believe it has blown some capacitors, I have the entire bezel popped off, but it looks like the area where you plug in the power and inputs is attached to the back. I don't know how to take the back successfully off, and I don't really want to risk totally breaking a potentially functioning monitor. If anyone could tell me how to take it off, that would be great. Thanks! (Pictures included)

So I just hooked up my new monitor and don't know much about HDR - this is my first HDR-capable nonitor. So when I enable 10-bit pixel format in AMDs adrenaline settings, it then disables HDR in Windows. If I revert to 8-Bit in Adrenaline, then I can enable HDR in windows display settings. But I thought HDR literally WAS 10-bit mode. Like that 10-bit mode IS literally what HDR even is. So should I stick with 10-bit mode in Adrenaline, or go back to 8-bit and use HDR in Windows itself? This PC is mostly used for gaming, so whatever settings would give me the best picture during gaming.
