Hello, I want to make an application that has integrated microsoft office word, excel, outlook etc. How would I go about doing that? I found there is the Office Common Javascript API so i was thinking of making the application using the React library in JS, but I'm not sure if that provides what I want for my application. To be clear, I want my users to be able to access their emails from outlook from within my app, and also be able to create word (excel, powerpoint etc.) documents from within my app. Is the javascript api what I am looking for? I there something better for my needs? Am I restricted to the use of javascript to make my application? It is worth noting I plan to make the application useable on multiple platforms, so at the moment I am considering making it as a web application so the back end can be the same for any platform (windows, android, ios, mac (maybe linux as well)). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looking to purchase a used laptop. The listing says that it comes with MS Office Pro. I want to keep at very least MS Office (if it's licensed on the system) but because its used I want to clean out the system with a reset. Is there a way to clean out the system without losing certain apps? I just don't want to miss out on a Microsoft office license and need to pay for a new one.

Hello, I am helping a former teacher at my school who's hard drive died. His computer is decent and still more than he needs. I was planning to put a simple SSD in it and install windows on the drive along with microsoft office. Does anyone know of any bundles for both Windows 10 Home and Microsoft Office 2019? I know I can download and install windows without a license to get the machine up and running, but he is not that tech savvy and I think a licensed version of both the operating system and microsoft office is the way to go. I just was hoping they didn't have to pay over a hundred dollars for each. Thank you!

Good Afternoon I have a issue with Microsoft Excel 2021 64 bit. I cannot link my files due to personal keys linked to my API's so I will do my best to explain the situation. Basically Excel is using 64 gigs of RAM and keeping it maxed for anywhere between 20 minutes to a hour. I have12 Excel .xlsx files. I have 1 main sheet the uses VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP to pull from the other 11 sheets. 1 sheet contains only my formula's, it helps to keep my other sheets clean. Once its updated I close it out so it does not have to be open. The other 10 excel sheets contain a few hundred API calls to a server using the DATA tab, from web, inserting the html address, and getting inserted into the sheet in a table. The 10 sheets with the API calls once updated are closed so I will only have my main sheet open. Also when updating my 10 sheets with the API calls, they are open only one at a time. The Main sheet and the Formula sheet have 0 issues when there open and being used as intended. The issue is the 10 sheets with the API calls. All sheets have the same issue. Although it is random and does not always occur in the same spot. I separate all my Queries and Connections into folders with 25 API calls each. Each folder having a Macro to refresh them, and a main macro to refresh all of them sequentially. I tried this to see if the problem was caused by refreshing 350 connections at the same time. I will have that macro below. I can manually refresh each folder and sometimes its smooth. It stays about idle RAM usage at 4-6 gigs. Other times it creeps up to 64 gigs maxed steadily and stays there for 20 minutes to 1 hour. Sometimes jumping down to 40 gigs used and going back up. Even after the refresh of the 25 API calls is complete the RAM is still maxed at 64 gigs for a very long time. 20-30 minutes. Sometimes I can use the main macro and everything refreshes just fine with no RAM jump. It might peek at 10 gigs, but this is rare. The macros all work as intended and everything will refresh. On one of my sheets that has 250 queries it can take up to a hour to complete the refresh because the RAM maxes out. When this happens a full sheet refresh will take up to a hour for 350 refreshes. Random thing I noticed. even though its stored on a M.2 it would max my HDD for storage at 100%? I unhooked it and now my M.2 gets hit but nothing as significant. like a couple %. I have googled until my eyes are sore and I am probably just not using the particular keywords to find my solution. Does anyone have any idea why my sheets use so much data when I have no operations being processed? It starts when I refresh my queries but it continues to stay maxed after it is completed. Any help or Ideas is appreciated. Thank You in advance. I have tried -Turning off background downloads -Turning off automatic cell formula refresh -Refreshing the queries in groups of 25 instead of all of them at the same time. -reinstalling excel -restarting the computer -Turning off Type detection -Clearing the cache (Main macro refresh all) Sub Refresh() Refresh1 Refresh2 Refresh3 Refresh4 Refresh5 Refresh6 Refresh7 Refresh8 Refresh9 Refresh10 Refresh11 Refresh12 Refresh13 Refresh14 End Sub Sub Refresh1() ' ' Refresh1 Macro ' ' ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TAIT").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TAOP").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TAP").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TBLT").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TC").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TCN").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TEO").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TER").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TJX").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TKC").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TRI").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TRKA").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TRNS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TSEM").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TTCF").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TTMI").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TXRH").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - UBCP").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - UEPS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - ULTA").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - UMC").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - URBN").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - VC").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - VCR").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - VHC").Refresh End Sub (Seperate Refreshes) Sub Refresh2() ' ' Refresh2 Macro ' ' ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TRI DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - TXRH DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - UBCP DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - UMC DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - VCR DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - VHC DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - VSH DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - WIT DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - WSTG DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - YUM DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - WTBDY DIV/YIELD").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SILC HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SIMO HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SISI HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SLAB HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SMCI HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SMGZY HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SMTC HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SNTG HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SOFO HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SOMLY HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SPKKY HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SRAD HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SRI HIS").Refresh ActiveWorkbook.Connections("Query - SRT HIS").Refresh End Sub Ryzen 5900X 64 Gigs 3200 Memory X570 Meg Ace 1080ti 1TB Samsung EVO M.2

I have hundreds of cells within Microsoft Office Excel (365 version) that are in the wrong currency. For example, cell A1 might have '$350', cell A2 might have '$440' etc etc. I need to highlight them all, then somehow convert them to the currency I want (£), however I'm not talking about exchange rates, I just mean change the dollar sign to the pound sign as they have been added to the sheet incorrectly. - E.g, change cell A1 from '$350' to '£350'. Any help?

Please be aware of scam software vendors who do not have a phone number or anyway to contact them except via email. I purchase Microsoft Office via web and was supposed to have a license download. This never happened! There is no license key for these downloads. This is a scam. When I asked for a phone number contact there were crickets. When I asked for a refund there was a nasty response. Buyer beware https://www.istarsoftware.com. They are not legitimate.

Problems with Microsoft Office for Education
Raxyneous posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
I've been having trouble with Microsoft Office for Education. I initially had Office 365 and no longer need it, because I can get Office for Education for free. I installed Office for Education while I had 365 installed and that seemed to cause confusion between the two programs. I tried uninstalling them from Programs and Features then tried just installing the EDU version. That didn't work because NO PROGRAMS showed up as shown in the video. There were Office files, but no programs. I even tried using the EasyFix utility to remove both the programs and that didn't seem to resolve the issue either. If anyone has any idea as to what I can do to fix this, please respond, I have school work I need to do and don't want to do it all in school. Thanks, Raxyneous P.S. I describe the problem a bit in this video...-

Hey guys, I have a persistent problem with Microsoft Excel histogram that drives me crazy. I will have a row of data that represents a row of choices from a survey. (In the attached example I have marked them 1-5 for Very Unsatisfied to Very Satisfied, sometimes I do Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree, etc.) When I use the histogram function in Excel 2016, the program never sets the bins correctly, and trying to set them manually doesn't work either. I want bins of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and for the bars to represent the counts of each. But Excel will automatically give me numbers like 2 - 2.74, 2.74 - 3.48, etc. I try to set bin width to 1.0, and it only gives me three thick bins labeled (2,3), (3,4), and (4,5). I try to set the number of bins to 5 and it gives me bins from 2 to 2.26, from 2.26 to 3.2, etc. See attached images. I'm pulling my hair out and would love advice.

I'm currently writing my Dissertation/ Thesis and every time I try to scroll between pages or move images on the page its lags out and nothing changes for a second or two before everything happens at once. This is incredibly frustrating as you can imagine. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how was this fixed? More info: The actual word file is around 71mb and its located in my google drive folder (in case I need an older version) on my Samsung 850 Evo. My PC specs are on my page but in short I'm running unlocked haswell i5 (at stock speeds) cooled by a CM 212 evo equivalent and an asus gtx 1070 I had a look at my temps and they are in the 50s (Celsius) I even went as far as checking my task manager to see how the cpu usage was affected by it however it remains below 10% even though I experienced freezes on multiple occasions while it was open.

Hi there, wondering if anyone knows of any alternatives to publisher, I recently found out I have a need for publisher, as I'm looking at geting into document design and publishing, and that it didn't come with the office bundle that I brought. not overly keen on purchasing just publisher as it is over $150 where I only paid $200 for the whole bundle I brought previously. I dont really want to pay that much for this type of software, nor take out a 365 subscription to get it. so if anyone knows of any similar alternatives that'd be amazing

My current occupation is an assistant for a practicing doctor. One of my tasks is sorting and printing the charting notes that this doctor creates for each patient visit. This doctor uses a personal template he has created in Microsoft Word 2013 as a skeleton for each of his charting notes. Each individual charting Word file is labeled as so: Last name of patient, First name Date of visit. The number of notes for each person varies depending on how long the person's stay was. Here's my issue. These charting notes are produced at a large rate and my current printing method feels inefficient and way to prone to human error. My current printing method is as follows: 1. Open file explorer to the area where all the charting notes are organized into sub-folders by month they were made. Select the desired month. 2. Click and highlight the all the notes that were made for an individual person in that month. Right click on the selected files and click Print. This will print those selected files, but they will come out in a random order from the printer. 3. Repeat step 2 for the all the charting notes for each individual in that months folder. The outcome of all this is a printer tray with a stack of semi-organized patient charting notes. Each individual's group of charting notes will be together in the stack, but they will be in a random order. As said before, each file has the date of the visit on the end of it to keep the files organized. When they come out of the printer the files that were highlighted and selected to be printed together will come out in the same section of the stack, but their order will be randomized. I don't know why this happens. The printer spooler also only seems to have so much space. Sometimes there's over a hundred files for a single person that needs to be printed but the highlight and print method only allows for about a maximum of about 54 files to be highlighted at a time before it just seems to not register the files after that and doesn't print them. This is also why I can't just highlight all the files in a folder and print them at once. If I did, people's charting notes would be mixed, and most of them wouldn't print anyway. So here's what I'm asking. Would anyone know of a program that can make this printing process easier? Something where I could open it, select all the files I wanted to print, hit print, and it would keep the order of the files as they are in Windows Explorer. Or a setting I can change in Windows to make this all simpler. Printer: Brother Black only Laser Printer I wasn't sure which forum to ask this question at but this community seemed like the best place to start. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey All, I just bought a new computer for grad school that I needed projects for a class. Didn't want to spend a fortune so got a decent HP with a 128 M.2 SSD figuring I would store everything important on OneDrive or some other cloud file management system. My school is offering for free every Microsoft Office application out there. So I was able to get the standard Office programs. Word, Excel, more important Projects. However, I came across the ability for visual studio, etc. Problem is, the entire suite chews up about 50 gigs of storage. After that download, I would be at about 90% on that SSD. Does anyone have any options to make that work. Options I came up with: -Return the laptop, get one that's larger. Would have to wipe back to factory. -Upgrade the M.2 SSD with a larger one. Not entirely sure I can do that without killing warranty. -External SSD, but not sure Microsoft applications can run off a external. -Store Microsoft apps in the cloud and utilize them from there. Not sure if I can do that either. Any help would be great. Thank you.

My dad and my friend have a problem where after like 5 minutes their Microsoft office would stop responding and eventually crash. The problem affects all MS office programs, but (as observed so far) no other applications. They both couldn't find anything on that issue online and as their specs are quite different, none of us has a clue as to what the cause might be. My dads' specs: My friends' specs: My specs (I don't experience any crashes):

I bought Windows 10 Pro and Office 2016 Pro over a local marketplace website for really cheap and I was shipped 2 home burned DVDs, no codes. I updated my rig to Win 10 and everything works fine. I tried installing Office, but during the installation process I got an error that some file was missing. I can't install Office. I'm pretty sure both the Win and Office are somehow pre-activated, because I didn't get or need any codes. Is there a way I could get the Office product coed and install with like a downloaded installer or something? Is there anything I can do? (besides contacting the seller) Thanks for helping.

HI everyone. My parents old laptop (HP pavilion g7) wet to crap. It is slow, fans dont work anymore and I dont think it woud be abel to handle their needs much longer. They are running mostly Google Chrome (you know RAM usage), AutoCAD 2014 and couple of Microsoft offices programs at the time. So I coud tell it's hard multitasking (for them). This laptop now needs too long to start up and waaaay to much time is needed to open any program. I was thinking about buying them something cheap(er). Around 8000HRK whic is around 1100USD. I dont know what to buy, dont know if autoCAD if GPU or CPU intensive program so any suggestion is going to be helpfull. Oh and screen needs to be atleast 17'' in diagonal. Thank you in advance.
