Which motherboard is better the MSI B450M GAMING PLUS or the Gigabyte B450 AORUS M?

Hello everyone, I’m looking for a super cheap way to get a micro atx pc case that’s rgb. Price range of about $35-$40. What’s the best deal?

I'm somewhat beginner to PC building and I want some clarification before I spend my money, so please help me.? I'm planning to build a MicroATX setup with MSI B450M Mortar , Asus ROG Strix RTX 2060 and other components. The reason I'm building a MicroATX setup is for a somewhat compact system with some expandability. I wanted to add a network adapter to the mobo(TP Link Archer T6E) but it seems the graphics card I'm planning to buy occupies 2.5 slots of the mobo and I'm not sure if I can add that. If I can't add any expansion cards, there's no use for me to buy a micro atx setup. I'd rather go for fully compact Mini ITX or expandable standard ATX setup. So, can micro atx mobo hold a beefy graphics card and a network adpater, (or) if it doesn't should I go for a smaller card like the Zotac RTX 2060 which I hope will leave some space for expansion cards (or) should I go for a Mini ITX/std ATX setup (or) any other idea by which I can get a compact and expandable setup. Hi all, I currently run a hybrid cooling system with a micro-ATX board inside an older Lian Li PC-V350B. But recently when upgrading, I find the case to be rather cramped. I got the case because of its form factor and 5.25 inch bays. But now I'm thinking of moving back to small tower cases, especially because it makes upgrades more convenient. Plus, I have 5 RGB fans, 2 of which I had to give up when moving my tech into the Lian Li. I have shortlisted a few cases, but I'm somewhat divided. I need a micro ATX motherboard that can handle up to AMD Ryzen 7 2700 and an RX 580/90 graphics card. (AM4 socket)

So I'm planning on making a small pc build made for the sole purpose of playing Rocket League with 4 player split-screen. I'll be using 4 wired ps4 controllers. Basically I'm trying to make a console(ish) sized pc. I have an FX-8350 that's just laying around and want to give it a final home (DISCLAIMER: I am NOT planning on overclocking it and will in fact be UNDER-clocking it, most likely starting at 3GHz). I have an extra ssd and 8GB DDR3 RAM stick that I can use. I've already pick out the remaining parts (see list below). My question is what would be the best motherboard for this purpose? Should I spend a little extra on the motherboard? Could I "cheap" out on it? I tried looking for a mini atx board but those are apparently non-existent for AMD but if you find one let me know so I can get a smaller case since I want a small pc that I can take to LAN parties, etc. The motherboard I'm planning on defaulting to is here just in case this post doesn't yield any results. I'm planning on building a micro atx system and I want to start with the motherboard. I'm contemplating to get either the asus tuf z390m-pro gaming wifi or the msi mpg z390m gaming edge ac. I'm choosing either of these because I've had good experiences with the companies and I want to sync my rgb with either aura or mystic light, though I prefer Asus. I just want to know if there are any major differences between these motherboards or if I can't go wrong using either. Feel free to suggest other options as long as their z390 and support sli.

Hi guys, Im looking for some advice regarding a small form factor build in micro atx. The system has a ryzen 2700 cpu with stock cooler on a Gigabyte Aorus B450 M MB. The case is a cheap-o one but its quite well vented actually, 200mm width. The cpu will be oc'ed, with a target of about 4ghz, but for that to happen i need to put on a better cooler obviously. There is roughly about 25mm of space taken up between the top of the cpu, cables and the back panel. The problem: if i put in for example a cooler master 212 in push-pull, thats about 165mm tall, then that leaves 30mm of clearance for airflow between the cooler and the glass panel. Also dimms are on the taller side : Dimensions (L x H x W): 133.2 x 42.65 x 7.5mm, so no chance of putting in a bigger(wider) cooler. How much of a thermal problem do you think that would be and if at all? Also i can put in a liquid cooler and replace the exhaust in the back or put it in as intake or put it on top or w/e, but i for now im thinking of avoiding that. Live long and prosper

Okay, so right now I have a MSI Micro-ATX A320M Gaming Pro Motherboard, and since it's not overclockable, I want an upgrade. I was thinking that if I bought an ASUS Prime B350-Plus AMD Ryzen AM4 DDR4 HDMI DVI VGA M.2 USB 3.1 ATX B350 Motherboard, would it work well? Currently, I have a GTX 1050TI (I Plan on upgrading to a GTX 1060 6GB full-size when I buy a new board), F4-2400C17D-16GIS G Skill Aegis DDR4 2400 RAM 288 Pin (Single Stick, will possibly upgrade in the future.), an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Quad-Core processor. I have a Cooler Master case that I forgot the model of, but I am almost positive there is enough room to fit a new ATX board in, but I was wondering if there was a way to tell before I go and buy a bunch of new stuff. I am doing a mostly RGB build (I know) but I'm having a hard time finding a good MOBO, I was hoping to find a micro atx with RGB or one that would suit a full RGB build. Hey guys, I'm currently planning to build a new PC with the ASUS Z490-G (micro ATX), an i5-10600k and an AIO cooler. So now I’m looking for a case. The first case I found was the H510 but I read conflicting reviews when it comes to the Air-Flow and overall with the design I'm a little worried that a front AIO would turn the case into a hot box. Are there any other good micro ATX cases you can recommend? (Athletics are kind of important to me) Oh, and I'm also planning to overclock the CPU but nothing to crazy.

I've already built an Intel build with Nvidia GPU a year or two ago but I was always so curious about AMD prospects with them putting out CPU and GPU. With the release of Ryzen last year I was interested but with family life problems the project was set on the back burners. I have found myself now in the position to start the build and I'm wanting to start out with at least the 2700x. I already got the power supply and ram and case for the moment but I was curious about which micro atx board would fit best for this CPU. I do plan on overclocking to the best of the CPU's ability and stock CPU cooler which I heard is one of the best stock CPU coolers out at the moment. Hi there, Does anyone know of any nice cases that will allow at least ten hard drives inside with hotswapping abilities? I want to rebuild my NAS into another case that will allow me to add and switch out hard drives easier. I'm looking to use ten 3.5 hard drives, using backplanes, and a single 2.5 solid state for the computer. I'm looking for a case that will be able to comfortably fit everything inside and not be too clunky. My current setup is an micro-atx build. I want it to take up as little room as possible without turning it into a hot box, so thermals for the case should be well considered also.
