The title says it, I'm gonna buy either of these 2 mice within this weekend, and I'm in doubt tbh. I've learned that the viper mini has bad LOD and not the best cable which are a big deal in competitive play; features that are important to me and that the XM1 excel at obviously. but is that worth sacrificing the lightness and the small shape of the viper mini? the question becomes for me: can I comfortably finger tip the XM1 with a 17 x 9.3 cm hand, if so , the XM1 is outright a better mouse to me cuz I'm thinking a 10g weight difference is nothing compared to the cable drag and the LOD difference. (ps: disregard prices) thanks in advance guys.

Hello, I’m into digital art and will buy a Cintiq soon. The problem is, their ‘express key’, a remote keypad, is unreasonably expensive and also unavailable in my country. I’ve seen people use mouses with many keys (not hotkeys, but those will do too) on the upper side much like a keyboard, they did not look like normal mouses as they actually didn’t seem to have m1 m2 and scroll. I can’t provide an image as I don’t know how yo find them. Does anybody know what those are called? And do you recommend any? + I just noticed after posting, they probably do have m1 and m2 as they are mouses, but I don’t remember seeing them where they usually are.

I have some sort of weird skin thing where holding a plastic mouse has been causing pain for my thumb pointer finger and the palm of my hand I would really love to get a metal mouse and possibly keyboard... Price really isn't an issue as long as it ships to New York. I use the Logitech m570 and Elecom ex-6 m-xt3urbk Which are both trackball mice yes I prefer a trackball but at this point I don't have a choice. I was looking at the teamwolf immortal aluminum and stainless steel structure mouse but any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Carbon fiber might also be an option Edit: if anyone else has had problems with their skin while using computer mice please let me know my doctor is baffled.

I'm torn between buying either of these two mice: the XM1 or the UL 2 I'm leaning to the UL 2 right now but I'm just scared that my hand (9.3 cm width) is way too wide for an UL 2, and would make the UL 2 "too small" for me in which case the XM1 might feel better. can someone with a close hand width to mine ( around 9.3cm) validate wether or not my Hand width is perfect/good for an UL 2? or someone that play games a lot and has both mice, tell me his preference and his hand width so I'd have a reasonable reference point? Thanks in advance guys. ps: I don't care about price.

I'm alomst decided to buy the EndGame gear MX1 v2, but the fact that it's almost not used at all by pro players is bothering me my alternatives are: Cooler Master MM710 Finalmouse air58 g pro wireless razer viper ultimate Zowie S2 divina maybe the Glorious Model O or D I don't care about price, my size is 17.6 x 9.3 cm (yes I have short but wide right hand) Thanks in advance for recommendation!

I've been getting this weird slide effect when i move my mouse really fast in games like csgo, minecraft, rainbow six siege, and I am not sure why it happens, I will explain exactly what happens: I move my mouse to maybe flick behind me in-game, when I do it really quick, the in-game mouse moves at a constant speed even after i stop moving my hand for like another 0.3 second, It's noticeable when i have lower sensitivity. My mouse is unbranded, its really cheap, It has a 1200DPI, my csgo in-game sensitivity is 0.7 - 1.0 and at 0.7 is where i really do notice the weird slide thing, I am not sure if this is because of my mouse or something else, I don't want to spend a lot of money on a gaming mouse just to find out it's not the mouse's issue. I also tested this on my laptop, and I have the same issue, even with a different mouse that is also not really expensive. NOTE: It's not mouse acceleration, although i describe it similar to mouse acceleration. I have turned off every option for mouse acceleration (in-game & windows and even registry mouse acceleration) My PC Specs in case you need it: CPU: i5-4460 3.2GHz. GPU: GeForce GT 1030 (Memory Clock Boost at 3688MHz instead of 3003MHz.) RAM: 12GB, 1x4 + 1x8, 1600MHz DDR3. Mobo: Asus H81M-Plus. SSD: 480GB. HDD: 512GB.

This is my first written review in this forum! Feedbacks are appreciated, will try and keep this updated in the future Contents: First Impressions Specs What You Get Inside the Box Shape & Weight Sensor RGB & Buttons! Connectivity & Battery Life Software Conclusion 1. First Impressions I have owned several mice from Logitech, safe to say, this is the most expensive mouse i have ever used. The G502 is regarded to be one of the most successful gaming mouse to be produced, but the G502 Lightspeed is my first G502. At first glance the G502 lightspeed looks like any other G502, with the obvious difference of not having a cable. Unboxing the G502 to me, feels like unboxing a flagship smartphone, premium, with a feeling of "i know i spent a lot on this thing". I bought this mouse for roughly $140 US which is rather cheap considering how hard it is to get and is currently selling for $158 right now (before shipping) in my country. The G502 Lightspeed isn't officially released in Indonesia so i got mine imported from Logitech HK, which took 17 days to be delivered. To be honest i don't know exactly where this mouse sits in the "gaming mice" family, is it an FPS mouse? is it an MMO mouse?, but i'd say it can do a little bit of everything, even for productivity. 2. Specs 3. What You Get Inside the Box G502 Lightspeed Lightpspeed wireless receiver Receiver extension adapter Charging/data cable Accessory box 4x 2g Weights 2x 4g Weights 4. Shape & Weight The G502 Lightspeed feels just like any other G502 but without having a cable to drag around. My hand is 18 cm (L) and 10 cm (W) i use claw/fingertip grip for when i am gaming and palm whenever i am not gaming. This mouse is better suited for people with bigger hands and of course right handed users, though if you have smaller hands you can still palm it (though there are better options than this). My thumb rest nicely at the rather small thumb rest and my pinky barely touches the mousepad whenever i decide to palm it. I would also recommend always using the 1-2-2 (1 finger on the left-2 at the top-2 at the right) grip, a 1-3-1 grip just feels odd to me since the right side of the mouse is rather big and i never felt comfortable lifting it considering how heavy it is. The G502 Lightspeed is a heavy mouse, but Logitech had done a good job to keep it lighter than its wired counterpart using techniques that they used in the G Pro Wireless. This mouse weighs about 114 grams (which is 7 grams lighter than the wired version). i would advise against using the weights, mainly because i play FPS and would like to keep the mouse lighter, but i understand some will add them because they like a bit more weight in the mouse. 5. Sensor The G502, uses the HERO sensor, the latest and greatest from Logitech. For the most part i use this mouse to play cs:go, and never had any problems with it. I mainly play as an AWPer (to those who dont play cs, its a sniper role) and it tracks every flick with great precision and is always consistent and it never spins out, safe to say it has 0 mouse acceleration (which is what i'd expect from a top sensor). I mainly play at 800 DPI and never change it. Lift of distance is also not an issue, as it is under a dvd. The surprising thing that i found out that this mouse also tracks on glass, though i'd rather not use it on a glass surface. 6. RGB & Buttons! The Mouse has 2, and only 2 lighting zones, nothing spectacular but it gets the job done. I personally set it to 15% brightness and leave only the logo to be illuminated to have the nice blend of still having rgb and good battery life. The G502 has a total of 11 programmable buttons, the sniper button is a bit too far ahead and for the most part i don't use it, changing DPI mid game isn't something it should do, thats the job of the buttons beside the left click, so i assigned it to do something else (its the only button i assigned to do a different thing other than what it was intended to do). the infinite scroll wheel is nice (especially when you need to scroll through a long document/website) , while also having the ability to scroll from left to right. I have heard multiple stories from people having double clicking issues on newer Logitech mice, though it is currently non existent on my G502, only happened to me once on a 4 year old secondhand G602 that i bought from a friend. 7. Connectivity & Battery Life The G502 uses the Logitech Lightspeed technology, its basically indistinguishable from wired mice, and yes, its that good and there's not much to say about it. If for some reason you still like it wired then you can still use the included cable (though that defeats the purpose of the actual product, you might as well get the wired version for way cheaper). The battery on this mouse is good, but not great. I use it for 8-10 hours a day daily and have to charge it once every 2 weeks. The mouse charges really fast using a USB 2.0 connection, haven't tested how long it exactly took to charge but it goes from 10-100% in an hour or less. You can still game while charging, though keep in mind that cable drag is now present. 8. Software The G502 Lightspeed uses the Ghub software, and it sucks, it's probably the worst part about this product. I have had to reinstall the software 3 times over the last couple of months due to it being stuck on the loading page, or not recognizing my mouse at all. The good thing is that this mouse does have on board memory, so you can just save it on the mouse and uninstall the software. On the bright side, the software does look promising but it needs a lot of love to be completely polished. 9. Conclusion In conclusion, to me the G502 Lightspeed is just another G502, nothing groundbreaking. Would i recommend it for competitive FPS? absolutely not, there are a lot of better and cheaper options out there (like say the G305, the Glorious Model D, etc.). But would i recommend it for someone who likes a heavy mouse and likes to game casually? yes, 100% it ticks all the boxes to be a great heavy mouse without actually being a brick. and it is still a gaming mouse with great specs. To close things off the mouse has a top of the line sensor, good battery life, RGB, wireless, infinite scroll wheel, buttons! lots of them, and a shape that has been liked by so many. Overall i would rate this mouse an 8/10.

Greetings dear LTT-community, I hope you are having a nice day, and I hope you can help me out. And I hope this is the right place to ask for this. Well, I give you the TL:DR first. Due to some previous encounters with poor quality mice, I am looking for computer mice that actually provide durability and longevity. Something I know that doesn't break or get faulty after a short period of usage. The long story. 8 Months ago, a proud computer mouse of mine that actually lasted for 2 years said it's good bye. Obviously I was in need of a new one. And quickly I found some cheap options that were somewhat decently rated. I guess you could say lightly minded as I was, I bought the next one I could find on Amazon, some knock-off thing. Yeah, 14.99€ is really not a price one would depict as "quality worthy", but my previous to that was 24.99€ (also knock-off), so it couldn't be much worse. Well, so I thought. I started to encounter a new problem not even 2 weeks after the purchase. The left mouse button started to what I would describe as "bounce" - Basically, I hold the mouse button down, and if the press becomes too light, it starts to let lose and click again, or sometimes does double clicks when only one click is made. This quickly got annoying and actually troublesome in a few games of mine. So quickly, I had to find a new one. And I did. Went to a nearby tech store, bought a cheap mouse. I probably should note here that I'm currently living on a budget. No income really so far, so my money is quite tight for the most part. Which started to show the same problem soon after. Well, hold to your chair now. I repeated this process 10 more times before I finally gave up. I listened to some recommendations of friends as well, but those computer mice recommendations quickly showed the same problem. So in other words, in the past 8 months, I bought a total of 12 budget mice. If I had to make a video about them, I guess you could name it "Collection of frustration". If I had to guess, about 100 bucks went in for mice. Meanwhile my budget keyboard lasts even after 4 years. I checked LTT's channel for some mice recommendations, but in my region (Germany) most mice that he said would cost 30$ actually cost about 80€ here, for whatever reason. The problem of having barely any money still applies today and I'm of course trying my best to change that as soon as possible. Basically this encouraged me to come here, because I truly need some tips on what kind of mice you would recommend. By now, it's less of an "I want specifically a gaming mouse", but more so a "I want a mouse that works for a while" - I don't need extra buttons or extra speed options. Most games I play require LMB, But those games need LMB that do not press themselves twice or more times when pressing/holding down. I'm grateful for any recommendation. A short list of what I want: Wired preferably Longevity. Something that doesn't cost a fortune in my current state (I have 90€ available right now, but I guess you can imagine I would not want to spend all of that on just one computer mouse) Thank you a lot in advance, I will try to keep up as good as I can. Kind regards - PeriCore

Hi LTT forums, I have an issue with my mouse / cpu and I have done for a while now, this has happened with multiple mice, anyway the problem is that when I move my mouse on a foreground program or anywhere, the cpu usage rises quite a lot, like from 3% CPU to over 20%, this also causes dips of about 10fps in games, and it's just really annoying, it doesn't affect general use of my PC, just mainly gaming, please help LTT :) Mouse and mouse settings: SteelSeries Rival 710 CPI - (pretty sure it's the same as DPI) - 900 Polling Rate - 1000Hz (Lowering this does nothing for me)

Hello everyone, I have been using Corsair since 2013, with the M45 later upgraded to M65 Elite. Recently I started having issues with iCUE and double-clicking, so willing to get something better from another brand...keeping this 5 buttons layout. The M45/M65 uses PMW 3310/3391 sensors respectively and I also would like to keep in those specs or better if possible. The only model I found following those is the Razer Basilisk, but I also had issues with Razer in the past so I was really looking for something else. Any ideas?

My mouse has occasional spasms and my headsets looking a bit beaten up. I normally buy the cheapest but not dodgy thing I can find on amazon, and don’t really know what to look for in peripherals. My Aukey keyboard’s doing fine, but recommendations on what to look for there would also be welcome. I looked at the Razer Kraken headsets and couldn’t really tell which was better the Kraken or Kraken X. What mid range mouse and headset would you recommend? (£30-55ish)

So my friend's mouse is always scrolling, any volume sliders, and windows settings are constatly scrolling. Not video games though, she was playing a game with me and it wasn't scrolling constantly, neither was the volume slider in a video on the Discord app. She has 2 different mice, she tried each independantly, and this issue still occured which leads me to believe this is a Windows issue. She hadn't used her PC in about a week, it JUST started doing this today, the only thing she did today that might have caused it, is install a driver for her new headphones, the "Astro Command Centre". Although she uninstalled this software, and it's still doing this. We've tried a few 'fixes' we found online, none of which worked. We restarted, we disabled 'Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them' but it did nothing. We tried using a restore point, but the only restore point available was just after she installed that 'Astro Command Centre'. She tried restoring that one, but it failed anyway. We updated Windows, we updated her mouse drivers, we uninstalled her mouse drivers, she unpluged her mouse dongle, and moved it to another usb port, nothing. The only other bug fix I can see is reinstalling Windows, which would likely delete all her software, and games, so let's try to avoid that. I got nothing, I tried everything I could think of, and I can't find anymore fixes listed online. This is a super weird issue, I've never seen this before. Please, let me know if you have any idea how to fix this.

Hello, this is my first post here. I've been getting into first person shooters recently and I've noticed that a mouse with 125hz polling rate feels quite choppy on a 60hz display, and I've seen around that this polling rate can't allways be changed to like 1000hz, but it can allways be downclocked at will. I want to now if there is a way to match my polling rate with my displays refresh rate to see if the choppyness will stop. Mind you, I don't care about input lag, my only goal is to get rid of the stutter and nothing else. My best shot at this was using HIDUSBF, but that program only has 62hz and 31hz on the low profiles and my mouse doesn't work going up 125hz... is there any way to get exactly 60hz?

Hello, So recently I've come across this mouse called the Model O, and in the time that I decided to buy it they came out with a new and improved "Model D". Are these mice any good to buy? I'll attach the link to their website below. https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/glorious-model-d-matte-black

A little bit of backstory, my G502 HERO just broke (smh Logitech) and it could apparently took 2 months to replace it because they had changed their distributor in my country (like ffs around this time, really!?) so I'm looking for a replacement, at least for the time being since I really love G502's ergonomics. After a little bit of googling people points out that Razer is the way to go. Currently there's a sale going on in my store where I usually get my peripherals. The Lancehead wired is on sale at 25 USD while the wireless is just under 50 USD, it comes with no warranty though. Right now, I just can't pick which way to go; wireless sounds nice since my setup is a bit of a rat's nest, but at least I don't need to charge the wired one. One last thing here is that I have a bit of an issue with my G502's wire where it gets a bit kinky, my friend says that it's not a problem with his Lancehead TE though, but I do get a bit rough with my mice sometimes when transporting it. ._.

I started out with the Logitech G502 Proteous Core and after 2-3 years the Right-Mouse Button started giving me issues. I then bought the G502 HERO and within 1 year the same issue started happening on that one. Right-Mouse Click basically just happens whenever it wants to, doesn't matter how light or hard I press the button, it sometimes might not respond. I have been considering buying the Razer Naga Trinity simply because it has enough buttons and functionality compared to the G502 series for my personal gaming needs, however, reviews of the required software and other clicking issues has me doubting if this is the right mouse. Any feedback on either of these mice or recommendations on other similar mice; i.e. wide DPI range, 10+ programmable buttons, wired preferred*, RGB is optional; is appreciated. * "wired preferred": It can be wireless, but must have a forward facing charging port so it can be used plugged in 24/7.

I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive wireless mouse with an ergonomic feel and most importantly silent buttons. My hands are medium-small sized and I'd prefer a non gamer-esque look. My budget limit is around $50. Thanks in advance!

Hello all, I recently bought a new mechanical keyboard after my old keyboard died. And a few days after my keyboard died my mouse did too. I have been looking around but really don't know which one to buy. I will mainly game with it (and browsing ofc) and I like mice that are on the heavier side. Back-lights are also a must and at least 2 extra buttons to be able to go back and forth. But additional buttons are a plus! Ow and I have fairly large hands. I hope I gave enough information. Anybody got any recommendations? Thanks in advance! 42thgamer

Hi! i have a logitech MX518 (the old one) and it stops working randomly for 1 second or 2 then it works again. As you may think, this does playing FPS (and games in general) really, really hard. I already updated drivers, installed Logitech's software, and nothing worked. My Pc: Windows 10 PRO 64bit SteelSeries Mouse pad, a cloth one. Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Could you lend me a hand? Thank you very much!

Hello im new to the forum so please be kind i'e been PC gaming for a while now normally play competitive shooters like CoD, CS and in those gaming you genuine want the smoothest game play and mouse pointer precision as possible. So here's my question I normal play games at 239fps capped with in-game fps limiter and with rivaTuner for better frame Time variables for consistent loads and stagnant input I also have a 240hz monitor My mosue is a Coller Master MM170 mouse I play with it at 250 polling rate which gives an amazing smooth fluidly when panning left to right ect. So I was wondering if I could some how decrease my mouses polling rate to 220-230 because so I can have a 1 to 1 to 1 synchronized frametime fps pollingrate cross talk. I'm not sure if their's any software on the internet that can let me do such a thing I know there's Mouse polling rate adjuster but that only allows incremental jumps 31,60.125.250.500.1000 so if anyone knows anything please reply and thank you for helping you can DM on my discord if you want to get in touch with me thank you and have and good day <3 My Discord ID: DarlingDupree#2260

Do you think using USB type C cables in future keyboard and mice would reduce the input lag in these devices??
