  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1dmNTJDSH8 Lags and stutters and unsyncs around 2:00:00 in my Alien Isolation stream Twitch.com/rakunio The COD:MWR and Infinate Warfare streams did the same thing as well as Shadow Warrior
  3. Hey guys I really wanna stream at high quality yet optimal performance on Twitch im not partnered 30 Down 6 Up AMD R9 295x2 Intel Core i7-4790k Software: OBS Studio Lemmie know what settings you think i should use, bit rate and if i should stream at 60 fps?
  4. Is there any way to upload to multiple steams from one video capture card? I curently stream on YouTube live, but I want to stream to twitch and Facebook live at the same time. any idea if that could be done with just one video card? I know it can be done with multiple cards but I'm just curious if anyone has any idea of how to do it with one.
  5. In Open Broadcaster Software, in the encoding settings, I have the option to use NVENC encoding with an NVidia graphics card. I was considering getting a cheap, low power, nvidia graphics card like a GT 610 and have it run alongside a gtx 970, where I have the GTX 970 render the game and the GT 610 render the video, so that I dont use the cpu or graphics card power. Is this theoretically possible? Thanks.
  6. Do you guys any know nice TV-stations that play music only (concerts would be really sexy)? Maybe even with an internet-livestream?

http://globalnews.ca/news/2724998/jury-sides-with-google-in-battle Source 2: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/jury-sides-google-closely-watched-203132081.html Google Android just dodged a $9 billion bullet Federal jury found Thursday that Google didn’t need permission to use a rival’s programming tool as it built Android Software competitor Oracle claimed Google had stolen its intellectual property and reaped huge profits Done by copying pieces of an Oracle programming language called Java Jury in the U.S District Court found that Google made “fair use,” under copyright law Of these Java elements that help different software programs work together Google argued that because it used only a small part of Java to create Android, it qualified for a “fair use” exemption from copyright Jury’s verdict marks Google’s second victory in the case US judge William Alsup sided with Google in 2012 An appellate court overturned Alsup’s ruling and sent the case back for a second trial Oracle said it will appeal the latest verdict on “numerous ground” Japan ATM Heist Reportedly Involved 100 People Who Stole $12.7 Million Source 1: credit cards Japanese newspapers reported that an ATM heist involving around 1,400 machines in convenience stores resulted in a loss of 1.4 billion yen ($12.7 million USD) Theft took place on May 15th, 2016 Between hours of 5am and 8am ATMs were targeted across Tokyo and 16 other prefectures in the country Police believe up to 100 people were involved in the heist At each of the approximately 1,400 ATMs struck, culprits withdrew 100,000 yen (about $900) This is the maximum withdrawal through these machines According to Reuters Africa, Standard Bank is estimating total losses at about $19 million Heist comes as credit card networks like Visa and MasterCard are trying to move world markets to uniform acceptance of chip based cards Believed to be more secure than swipe based cards No one has yet been arrested for the crime Police intend to identify suspects by analyzing images recorded by security cameras Foxconn Replaces “60,000” Factory Workers With Robots Source 1: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/601440-foxconn-replaces-6 OP: Master Disaster Source 2: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36376966 Workers have complained in the past about conditions of Foxconn’s factories One factory has “reduced employee strength from 110,000 to 50,000 thanks to the introduction of robots” A government official told the South China Morning Post Xu Yulian, head of publicity for the Kunshan region, added: “More companies are likely to follow suit” In a statement to BBC, Foxconn Technology Group confirmed it was automating “many of the manufacturing tasks associated with our operations” Also added: “We will continue to harness automation and manpower in our manufacturing operations, and we expect to maintain our significant workforce in China” Economists have issued dire warnings about how automation will affect the job market One report from Deloitte and Oxford University suggesting that 35% of jobs were at risk over the next 20 years Former McDonalds chief executive Ed Rensi recently said “It’s cheaper to buy a $35,000 robotic arm than it is to hire an employee who is inefficient, making $15 an hour bagging French fries.” NERD 9. I have an i5 4590 CPU with 8GB of RAM on a Asus H97M-E. I am looking to livestream some online games like League of Legends, AvA, maybe some browser games(slither.io and other small stuff). I'm on a fairly tight budget, so I need to know what GPU I should buy that will let me stream these at 720p 60fps. Maybe let me play some new games like Witcher3, Crysis3, Need for Speed at moderate fps at 1080p. Also would like to know what kind of stress streaming puts on a computer, if its more CPU intensive, or GPU intensive, or not doesnt put much strain at all and what not. I hope my questions are clear. All answers and suggestions are welcome and thanked for in advance.
  10. So, i have a quick question. Im planning on getting an Elgato HD60 Pro soon for YouTube and Twitch (both, since some viewers are on youtube). Will I be able to live stream on twitch and youtube? Heres my setup I5 4590 8gbs of ram I WONT play any PC games Internet - 30mbps download 6mbps upload Thanks
  11. *Feel free to correct me if I'm misinformed on any information here Hi everyone! If you've caught the WAN Show live at any point in the last 3 weeks, you've probably noticed that it's been nearly unwatchable due to the constant drops and glitches. From what I've heard, the problem is with Twitch's servers, but it could also be with their ISP or in-building hardware. I know there's a YouTube archive and everything, but given that the WAN Show is a live event, I'm wondering if Linus may consider trying to switch to YouTube or Facebook for livestreams (assuming the problem is with Twitch). At the least it may be worthwhile to run a couple test streams to see if they still have the problems they did when they started out. Anyway, this is directed at everyone, so feel free to voice your opinions! -Cheers!
  12. I think the Wan Show should move to YouTube live, why? Have you noticed that the last Wan Shows the stream is very inconsistent. YouTube is very consistent YouTube is faster (I can watch Twitch in mobile definition and stopping to buffer and in in Youtube I can watch live at 720p without it getting stuck) I use YouTube live once a week and it has never failed me. And I also recommend you moving to Wirecast, its really good for live streaming and almost never fails.
  13. Hey guys I would like to know which settings would be ideal for Youtube livestreams , currently it's lagging too much for me which is why I need help. These are my specs: Intel Xeon E3 1231V3 8GB RAM (2X4GB) 1600mhz Nvidia GTX960 4GB Thanks.
  14. SloFlo Antonio Bypasses IPhone Passcode On march 6th Sloflo Antonio shows to everyone how to bypass the iphone passcode How he does it Opens Siri and asks for the time once the Clock shows up he presses on it so he can add a new Clock then he writes any word on the Clock Search he selects the Word and Shares it via Messages then it asked him to Whom to send it to so he writes another Word then he Double taps on the word he wrote then a temporary Contact Shows Up So he Create it as a new Contact then he Adds a photo to the contact he chooses a existing Photo then Back out by the Home button and He's In the Phone At the end of the video He askes every one to Share it so The FBI can see it. Link: Personal Thoughts: I know that he didn't find out by himself how to do this. he found another video and Copied it Here is proof Same Method But made his own twist and calling it his own by Typing SloFlo SloFlo sucks The Founder Of the glitch made 1 million views but Sloflo 53 MILLION VIEWS SRSLY WHAT IS GOING ON!! but never mind Now for the Down Side of this glitch you don't unlock the phone permanently you will have to keep doing the glitch to bypass the Lock. but i think John McAfee will find a Glitch/Bypass/Hack method to Permanently unlock the iphone. Thanks for Reading Hope this goes on the Wan Show!
  15. Okay so I tried to livestream today at http://www.twitch.tv/originalkeezc and every 10-15 minutes my computer turned off unexpectedly, I found out that the problem was that MSI afterburner and OBS don't like to work together so if you're having problems with your PC then just try turning MSI off and putting it back on after your livestream is over. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but it is a fix for me and yeah... just thought I would share
  16. Unfortunately, I woke up a little later than I should have, and missed a large chunk of The Game Awards show- an hour to, to be exact. Is there anywhere I can find a recap of what went down in the show so far, or could someone let me know here? Thanks, Aereldor.
  17. Hallo! I need some ideas/input on this. So my mom and her fiance are getting married soon. They will be getting married at a public venue/place thats made for celebrations and such. They called me today asking if there is any way I can live stream it for them so anybody who couldn't make it could watch from home. I told them yes, because I know i can make it happen. Were still checking if they have internet and how fast. Assuming they do and its fast enough, this wouldn't be that hard. I would like to be able to live stream off of about 1-3 cameras and I want to record it for any who miss the stream. I just don't know where to start. I'm in need of: - the best site to stream this event on - hardware setup ideas (How to hook everything up) - a good software to stream with - approximate cost for any equipment needed Thanks
  18. Tesla will officially unveil the Model X tonight along with pricing. Livestream starts at 8pm pacific time. http://www.teslamotors.com/modelx It'll probably be way too expensive for most of us, but it'll be interesting to see none-the-less.
  19. Hello! So first off, my specs: PSU: Antec TruePower Classic 750W Memory: HyperX Beast 2x8GB 2133MHz HDD: Western Digital Green 1TB SSD: Kingston SSD V300 120GB 2nd SSD: SamsungEVO 250GB GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (2nd one coming next week for SLI setup ) CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Motherboard: Asus Z97-A I have a feeling I'm having a problem with my processor. I stream PC games on Twitch.tv using OBS (a popular livestreaming software). I've been streaming for around 1.5 years and know exactly what impact streaming from the same PC has on performance. Lately I've been having a problem streaming in 60fps720p. I could easily do this before with no real performance impact. Before I invested in an aftermarket cooler (corsair h60) I was running at temperatures of 90+ for 5 hours or more. I noticed the temps I was running at after I started to experience micro-stutters or sudden fps drops whilst gaming. Ever since that, It has never really ran the same whilst streaming at 60fps. Anyone have a solution or an idea as to what the problem could be? Cheers
  20. Hey guys! I've always wanted to live stream, but sadly my wifi sucks. My upload speed is 0.7 Mbps and my download is 7 Mbps. It's literally the fastest we can get, because apparently 2 miles is too far for comcast to run cables. I was looking into this thing called speedify, which would double my speeds, but that would still only be 1.4 Mpbs if I'm lucky. So what would be the minimum upload I'd need to stream to Twitch, if I were streaming in 720 or 1080p? Thanks, -Jordan
  21. Hello there... (First post ever here). So I live stream and play some intensive games. But I've been trying to put out 3 live streams at the same time I.E. streaming to YouTube / Twitch.tv / Stream.Me all at the same time. But I've been having issues putting out 720p streams at 30fps and recently upgrade my gpu to handle the game load but I'm figuring that it may be time to upgrade my cpu as well to handle the load. I'm hoping I could get some suggestions as I know it's pretty impractical to do something like this but I've been able to stream to 3 sites with not a lot of problems, but time has started catching up with my specs and now I'm running into issues with lag and degraded quality. I'm wondering if there's a way I can conquer this or any cpu suggestions that could handle the processes being ran. Some of my specs are: Cpu: AMD FX-8150 Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer inc. M5A97 LE R2.0 Vram: MSI GTX 970 Ram: 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz 2tbhdd / 250gb ssd / 800w psu I appreciate any suggestions that could be made. I've been spending about the last 6 months learning more about hardware and how it affects my machine and software but I'm still a newbie in understanding the practicality of everything.
  22. So I've been streaming League of Legends on Twitch.tv (here's a link if you're interested in watching lel www.twitch.tv/inaxz ) and what I tried to do is record with shadowplay while I'm streaming, what I've noticed is my ping going up from 115/120 ms to 145/150 ms so does anyone know why? here's my PC specs and my internet speeds CPU : i5 3570k RAM : 32GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600Mhz GPU : MSI GTX 970 4G I use OBS to stream and my Max bitrate is at 1600 as well as my buffer size
  23. I've been trying to set an auto dj for my twitch stream but sadly it is refusing to run! Please watch this video it's my video exampling the issue so you will have better understanding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxcd_8au_DI&feature=youtu.be&html5=1
