What day and time is WAN Show live in Swedens time zone? Are they usually on time, if not, when is the real time of the broadcast (again in the Swedish time zone)? Is it a good idea to order in the beginning of the show if you want them to answer your Merch Message-question?

I make stream tiktok and yputube at the same time with low quality on tiktok and 1080p on youtube and some times i have streaming lag. I want from u to find some program to make benchmark when i have live to see where is the problem and what i need to change something from my pc. Thank u

I was watching the recent stream and he mentioned he doesn't stream Beatsaber due to the frequent updates breaking mods there's this launcher called "Beat Saber Legacy Launcher" (https://github.com/RiskiVR/BSLegacyLauncher) that with a valid steam login will install and launch any version of beat saber separately so that it won't update, so you can separately mod each version. It even includes shared folders between versions so you can have your custom songs, Sabers , and environments saved between versions. -

Hi, so I'm trying to do a live video podcast series where I'm interviewing people remotely, but I've been having trouble getting video chat platforms connected to OBS Studio, the app I'm using to broadcast. The closest solution I could find was using a plugin called NDI, which both OBS and skype are compatible with and that would be the perfect solution for connecting each individual caller into OBS, except when the person calling has a volatile internet connection causing the resolution of the call to fluctuate. OBS responds strangely to this by shrinking or expanding the video output in a way that is very distracting. I've looked into using other video chat apps that provide a better call experience; however, skype is the only app that can output a single caller's feed to OBS via NDI or any other plug-in for that matter. I can't just capture the whole call, because I'm using a special border graphic to make the broadcast more professional (image attached of what I'm trying to do). Does anyone know a way to do what I've been able to with skype but without some of the odd hick-ups?

Hello all, Long time fan of Linus and the crew. I am new to the forum. I hope that this is the proper place for this. I am wanting to start live streaming games/ variety streams. For the variety streams I am wanting to work on learning Linux server admin stuff and stream it while I build and configure servers. The question I have is on security. I wanted to see if any one had insight on what I need to be careful of when it comes to what I show on stream. An example would be like is it okay to show internal network info (not passwords and stuff but like IP addresses)? I know I don't ever want my pub IP out there. I just wanted to see if there is anything else I can do to make sure I have a fun stream and I am still safe. Thanks all

How are guys at LTT able to stream to Multiple platforms (YouTube, twitch and floatplane) at the same time via only one OBS Studio instance? Do they use a 3rd-party service like restream or their own RTMP server?

As the title states, “One Guide to Rule Them All”. I’m trying to find an app for Android TV that allows you to combine a ton of live channels into one. This is would include OTA (HDHR) *Possibly under Plex*, Pluto, XUMO, Live TV services (Hulu Live, YouTube TV, etc., Cable Service (either Actual Cable or the Cable Service App) and possibly not probable, but live sections on Apps like AMC, ESPN, etc.. And yes I do know about Android TVs “Live Channels” app. It’s crap. It never displays the correct EPG, nor does it work properly. Always says not enough storage or it has some bug that keeps it from functioning properly. Also “Channels” app doesn’t quite fit the need either. If anyone knows of any app or away to combine them in Plex or KODI that would be amazing! - Thank you! EDIT 1: I don’t mind this being an iPhone or Android app as I can cast this to my TV. I can basically use any casting service, Miracast, AirPlay, Chromecast, or Samsung Share. Doesn’t really matter what device I have to use to cast to my TV. I could use my Desktop if necessary.

When I watch a live stream and put the window on my second monitor, i will open another window on my main monitor; but for some reason if I'm on a website loading images (i.e. another YouTube video, merch store, etc.) the Live video will stutter and buffer. I have tried disabling the hardware acceleration and re-enabling it with no avail. the only thing I've noticed is if i use another browser (FireFox, Edge) the problem isn't concurrent. Is this an issue with bandwidth in chrome, or just chrome not operating properly? I can open 4 videos on YouTube sectioned off, all running 1080p without any issue; Also, I can tab the video where it runs in the background and no problems either. It seems to only happen when I watch a live stream and have something else open. Does anyone know of a fix, or why this would be happening? My Setup: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/bZL2FT -
So I was streaming the other day and this has never happened before. I was perfecting my audio cause my noise gate filters was messed up and I added a compressor so when I talk quieter (voice is already soft) or if I were to yell the compressor and everything keep it normalized. After settings up the compressor, I went to go live and I starting noticing my voice was sounded a little robotic. Is this caused by the compressor settings filter or laggy internet? I have around 10-12 upload speed and stream @1080p60fps never had an stream quality or audio issue till now. I tried looking up some solution such as unplugging and plugging back in once live but that didn't help turn off compressor and still happening. What could be doing this? Any help apprenticed. I am working on a large project for an upcoming theatrical performance at a local school. I will be running projection mapping before and during the show. I'm very new to this but have been building skills quickly. We are performing "The Wizard of OZ". I would like to be able to run a live motion capture of an actor who plays the wizard and have that be the live input for some sort of 3D model of a wizard head. All of this will need to be able to run in real time and through projection mapping software. I'll be using MadMapper for this show. I had originally thought of just using a live camera to show the actor's face projected up on the stage. However, if it is possible to motion capture them to show a digital face, I think this would look much better. Does anyone know of software that can do this? I've found some motion capture software but most of it is not for real time or live applications. Others that have hinted at having live capabilities are expensive. Thanks for your help in advance. Info about the IP camera: It's a CCTV camera, model TP-MS200IPL https://es.aliexpress.com/item/HD-1080-P-c-mara-IP-2-0MP-4-piezas-l-mparas-IR-P2P-POE-c/32870123277.html What I want to get: The IP camera can record live via FTP on a PC. This PC has the ftp server and a ftp client for testing the connection. I'm using Filezilla for both server and test client. Explanation of my current configuration: I have this camera in my current network, and there are no problems about connectivity. The ftp configuration of the IP camera is correct, as I'll show here: There is a button called "text", which sends a test file so you can check if the connection is ok. Here is what I get, so the connection is working: The red square in the screenshot shows the root directory of the admin user in the ftp (this user has full control on this root folder). When you click on test, the camera creates a folder whose name is the IP of the camera. Inside, it creates the sample file. Ok, so for now I have shown you the networking configuration, this part of the project is working properly. The next part is the configuration of the motion detect recording, and here is my configuration: As you can see is enabled, along with the trigger recording option, and its "Upload to FTP" checkbox. With all of this, the camera should start recording and sending via ftp to the PC when motion is detected. The problem is that this is not sending the video. But, what is funny is that the "Trigger snapshot" option, that basically starts taking shots when motion is detected, works properly and sends the data via ftp to the PC. What I can't understand is, what is the problem here? What is the difference between sending photos and sending live video? Thanks in advance if somebody can help

I was a little unsure what topic to put this under. BUT, I have been having this issue that whenever I livestream to Twitch, my wireless mouse (logitech g305) becomes very glitchy. It seems to be a problem with just this wireless mouse, because when i used my wired mouse (razer deathadder elite), it never seemed to glitch like my wireless did. My drivers are updated and I've tried connecting my USB plug all over my system. While livestreaming, my CPU usage never exceeds 10 - 20%. I've tried the 2 encoders on OBS, NVEC and x264 (or whatever theyre called, i forgot). It's not an FPS problem because my games do not lag, and the glitches occur even outside of gameplay. I'm unsure if this is an issue with my motherboard or if it's an issue with the mouse itself. But this glitching only occurs whilst livestreaming. It seems to work perfectly when I am not streaming. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone, i need a little help, not with the cost but more on what type of hardware to use. I am on the board of directors for a sporting club and we would like to stream the event we host each year, i am pretty computer savvy ( build and repair pc's) but i have been scratching my brain on this one. I need to be able to stream 4 feeds at the same time from obviously 4 different cameras but the problem i'm having, would i be able to get away using something like a ryzen 2700 or would i need more like a threadripper for that kind of stream? also i would like to stream at 1080p30 but preferably 1080p60. If im using OBS to broadcast over the net onto a custom website would an rx 580 8gb or better gpu be good enough or for that matter actually make a difference? tia

Hey guys, I run a recording studio and I have cameras set up in each room (Control Room, Live Room, Vocal Isolation Rooms, and chill spaces). I want to stream the writing and recording process with bands that come in. I also want watchers to be able to choose which room they want to watch, like in security software...but I don't know if security software is the right way to go. So that they can be watching a guitarist track his guitar in the control room with the engineer, and then switch to the rest of the band playing video games, or arguing about a lyric in the chill room. I'm not sure what the right way to go about setting this up is. I was looking at security systems, but I feel like that wouldn't be appropriate. If anyone can help me, I would REALLY appreciate it. I realize any real solution will probably cost a couple thousand dollars. This is a serious project, and we're trying to go the distance. If anyone has any experience with this, any information would be appreciated. -
