Good Day, My Specs: Full Alphacool water cooling loop Ryzen 7 3700x with Alphacool Eisbaer 360 CPU x570 aorus elite 1080ti with (Alphacool Eiswolf ) Team group 32GB 3600mhz Ram. EVGA Super Nova 1000p2 (1000w) So I swapped my PSU to a more powerful one today and changed my CPU thermal paste to Kryonaut. After swapping these two things my cpu temps start at 40C instantly and gradually (quickly) rises to 95C. Hitting a sweet 107C recently before shutting off. I never had this problem before the swap. Looking into the see through panel of the CPU cooler i noticed some white small particles floating in the loop. Could this have caused the sudden extreme temperature rise in idle? Or, Could it be the thermal paste? (I don't have any other paste to test). I'm truly lost I have reapplied and tightened all i could tighten with 0 success. Any help would be greatly appreciated ask away if you require extra info

Hey guys, new to computer building and just got the Tower 900. Having trouble finding a AIO liquid cooling system the will work with it. I mistakenly bought the corsair h115i but I can't seem to get it to fit (turns out parts picker says its not compatible) I do like the look/ bells and whistles of the corsair but can't seem to make it work so I was hoping for suggestions for a diffrent compatable one, or someone who has experience with hooking up a AIO LCS in a thermaltake that could tell me if I'm wrong and the h115i can work and I'm just not looking at it right. Thanks guys Thermaltake The Tower 900 Asus PRIME X299-A ATX LGA2066 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Intel Core i7-7800X 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Asus GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB TURBO Video Card Corsair HX Platinum 750 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (Hopefully)Corsair H115i RGB PLATINUM 97 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Hey guys, I'm looking for suggestions for a liquid cooling system that works with The tower 900. One that is not overly complex or flashy (I don't think I'm ready for those big tanks) I'm completely new to building computers, and just recently picked up the The Tower 900 and all needed parts(Intel not AMD) that were recommended by a friend. However it appears that the Liquid cooling system I bought is incompatible ( it was a Corsair H115i Platinum) the way the case is designed had the LCS`s tubes too short and did not connect to the side classes well either (although like I said I am new at this). I did like the look of the corsair and would have loved it if I got it to work. So any suggestions that would be along that line but compatable would be great!

Which motherboard is better and more reliable?
GeneralShah posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
Currently I'm working on build a ryzen 3900x build with X72 NZXT liquid cooling and a 2080 gigabyte graphics card. Does anyone know which motherboard is better for this build a X570 MSI Meg Ace or X570 MSI Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi? -
Hello, first of all sorry for my bad english. . I have Cooler Master MWE GOLD 550watts and it's work just fine with my previous built GTX 1660S, Ryzen 5 3600 and AIO watercooling Deepcool Gammax 240mm. And then few days ago I upgrade my GPU with Sapphire rx 5700 xt refference card (Got a good price that's why I choose the refference card). I change the stock cooler with AIO Cooling from ID.COOLING 120MM. Now my pc suddenly goes off for few times either I play game or just starring at the desktop. But sometimes the problem didnt occur. I can play AC Odyssey with High Setting for few hours. I really dont know what the problem is. I didnt overclock my pc. Do i need to change PSU or stick with it, please give me an advice or explanation about what I've been through. Thanks for your reply in advance. Hi everyone. So I'm looking to finally water cool my PC setup and I'm considering a Corsair and Ek combo loop. However, I have one major question I cannot seem to find the answer to. Corsair's loop building system helped me get all compatible parts on their end but I cannot get a response from Ek support on if their new EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 360 D5 PWM D-RGB - Plexi will work with the Corsair parts. RAD Link: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Custom-Cooling/Radiators/hydro-x-xr7-config/p/CX-9030005-WW CPU Block Link: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Custom-Cooling/Blocks/CPU-Blocks/Hydro-X-Series-XC7-RGB-CPU-Water-Block-%28115X-AM4%29/p/CX-9010004-WW EK Link: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-kinetic-flt-360-d5-pwm-d-rgb-plexi Now after a lot of research I am seeing no compatibility issues here but I wanted to make sure these would all work correctly and I am not missing anything before I place my orders. My main concern I cannot figure out is the pump that EK has the following in its specs: " Pump electrical and mechanical properties: - Motor: Electronically commuted spherical motor - Rated voltage: 12V DC - Power consumption: 23W - Maximum pressure head: 3.9m - Maximum flow: 1500L/h - Maximum system temperature: 60°C - Materials: Stainless steel, PPS-GF40, EPDM O-rings, Aluminium oxide, hard coal - Power connector: 4-Pin Molex- and 4-Pin PWM FAN connector " The Aluminium oxide part has me worried as I know aluminium shouldn't be in with copper, yet I cannot figure out if this is describing the exterior of the pump or if it's a part of the inside. Would someone with more knowledge than me please confirm I am correct in assuming these parts will work together? Thank you in advance!

I have what i think would be a great video, especially now that lately LTT is focusing more on weird and exotic cooling solution. I was watching a video on Tested and Adam Savage wanted to make a cooling apparatus for his cosplay costumes. He brought along an engineer that introduced him to a tiny refrigerating compressor that was developed during the golf war by a company called ASPEN Compressor out of Kentucky. When i saw that, i immediately thought that it would be a perfect LTT video because of the compressors size, seeing as though it might fit in a normal rig without compromises. I would love to see if it would actually perform well in a computer and what its performance will be under high load. Adams Video: ASPEN Compressor: https://www.aspencompressor.com/

Hello! I'm considering a build in the case of a Power Mac G4. Obviously the case is REALLY small; I will need some extraordinary cooling. The question is, is this enough cooling? I want to use this radiator: http://hardwarelabs.com/nemesis/micro/m92gtx/ which claims to be able to handle 220W of heat. I can fit fans on push and pull, I have room for a DDC pump, and I have plenty of access to fresh air and clean exhaust. I want to use it to cool an Intel Core i5-9400F and an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti. The combined TDP of these two is 120W+65W = 185W. I know it's not a lot of headroom, but I don't plan to overclock. Am I nuts? PS: With some work, I *might* be able to fit two of these radiators: https://www.aquatuning.us/water-cooling/radiators/radiators-active/19749/alphacool-nexxxos-xt45-full-copper-60mm-dual-radiator Would this be any better?

Hi everyone, So just over 2 months ago I built a new PC with a 3950x. It always ran really toasty under my H110i gtx, but usually 90c under full load in cinebench, and mid 80 in games. However as of today I noticed the fans for my liquid cooler ramping up, which they would never get this loud unless under full load. I closed absolutely everything, and even at idle (3% usage) on desktop with nothing open...it is running at 85c. When I run cinebench it throttles down to 1.7ghz and is in the very high 90s. I figured maybe some dust is blocking some fans mesh (which they were) and also just to be safe I reapplied my thermal paste. No change at all, maybe even worse (I am going to reapply again to make sure). Now with my AIO the radiator isnt getting hot at all during these high temps, and I feel it would be burning up. Also one tube going to the radiator from the radiator is terribly hot. I know the tube from chip to rad is supposed to be hotter, but it seems too warm. Returning tube is cool. I don't know what could have change in just the last few days. It would never normally be this loud as a system, and would never throttle in cinebench. It is running mid 80s at idle now. Is my cooler failing? Wondering if anyone has an idea. Thank you for the help.

Hey guys! I have an EVGA RTX 2080 Super XC Ultra (model number 08G-P4-3183-KB) and I'm looking for a waterblock for it. I can't seem to find one - I can only one for the KR model (not KB, which I have). Do you guys know if they make a waterblock for this gpu? Thanks so much for your help! Not really sure what the best liquid cooler is in comparison to the one i wanted to buy. I was planning on getting the Corsair H150i Pro XT for either a 3700X/3900X based build, don't know which one i'm going to get as of yet. soo, to all 360mm AIo cooler owners, whats the best option? p.s I am going to replace the current fans with Corsair LL series fans, so yeah.

Hello guys! I watched LTT for a few years now but just got an account, so please forgive me should I do any mistakes. On my questions, I have a few questions about custom/exotic water cooling as you can see from the title; 1)If I buy the cooling parts( radiators, fittings, tubing etc) say, corsair or phanteks, is there a manual to help me figure out? 2)How much time would it take on average to assemble the cooling system? An hour? Or three? A week? 3)After a few years, if I want to sell the gpu only, will I be able to remove the waterblock and install the original fans on it, would there be any problems on the gpu or the initial system itself? Thanks for your answers and I apologize again if I did any mistakes, as I said, newbie here, Would try to fix the mistakes if you let me know.

Hi, I was recently upgrading my PC and I realized that when it was built the CPU cooler was never plugged in and for the past 8 months or so my CPU has been running without a cooler. My CPU is an Intel core i7 7700k And my CPU cooler is a Corsair H100i v2 I have now plugged in the CPU cooler and it functions perfectly but when I check the temperature it is constantly between 96 and 100, even after 8 hours of it being turned off still around 100. The problem I have with this is that I don't believe the temperature measurement is correct but my cooler does and therefore leaves the fans at 100% all the time. Is it possible that the temperature measuring instrument for my CPU was broken during the time when the CPU was running without a cooler (probably way too hot all the time) or is my CPU genuinely at 100 degrees all the time. BTW all temperatures are in Celsius.

Hi, I am new to pc and pc building. And I have just installed the Corsaor h60 aio. But there is a spongy like strip that came with it and the instructions dont mention anything about it. I have added a photo. Is it important?

Hi all! In the past week I've been building my first custom loop system. I filled the reservoir all the way to the top when the pump was off, but when I turned it on, the water level dropped by about a centimeter. The system was already filled and bled, but I did not have enough liquid on the initial fill to completely fill the reservoir, I now do. So the question hereby is, do I fill the reservoir to the top when the pump is off, or when it is on? When turning off the system the reservoir is full again. Thanks!

Hello, I am currently trying to build my first pc and already decided I am getting an i9 9900k. I’ve looked online at the Corsair Hydro Series, H100i RGB PLATINUM SE but some people say it still runs a little hot. I was also eyeing up the Noctua NH D-15. I’m trying to find a CPU cooler that can keep it in the 70’s C while I boost all cores to 5 GHz. Doesn’t matter if it’s Liquid or Air just raw performance and sound.

Hello, recently I noticed my CPU (Ryzen 5 2600x) has been reaching temps around 90c - 100c, when I'm rendering a video, so I have been looking for a new cooler, to replace the stock cooler that came with my CPU. It seems like liquid cooling could help, I don't know much about cooling though. As my case has limited cooling areas, I don't really have much choice. The current coolers that i'm currently interested in are the NZXT M22 (because it looks cool af), and the Corsair Hydro Series coolers like the H60, H75 and the H80i. I'm not sure if I want to go liquid cooling, or just get a better air cooler. Are there better choices out there, because I don't know much about cooling in general, its a first time for me.

So I have a custom loop in my system that consists of an EK Velocity CPU block, an EK GPU block, 2 x 240mm radiators, and an EK X-RES 140 pump/res combo. This is all in a Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow case. When I put the loop together, I bled it for 24 hours and the air was gone. For some reason though, as more time goes by, air seems to keep getting into my radiators. When I start up the system and the pump spins up, a large amount of air bubbles get pushed into the reservoir from the front rad and float to the top. There are no leaks from any of the fittings, and I have the anti-vortex EK insert in the reservoir. Can anyone help me figure out why air keeps getting pushed into my radiators? Thank you

Hi everyone, I built a custom loop recently but am having that pesky 55 post error... i cleared CMOS and rsetted bios multiple times, took the CMOS battery out for 15 mins, took my M2 from the on board slot and switched to the DIMM but still with no avail. No error codes from RAM, CPU, GPU till i hit HDD and gives me D7 followed by 55. As the title says, my 3600x sounds like its preparing for take off when I play overwatch, 2700 RPM at 49 c in speedfan, but in bios it said it was at around 60 (obviously not while playing OW) so who really knows. I'm on a bit of a budget, I'd rather not spend more money on this damn box right now. I'm in Vancouver Canada, so everything is more expensive. Can anyone recommend me some solutions / a good AIO that will keep my PC quiet and cooled for a reasonable price (100cad) It's been a while since I've built a pc, so quick question: Is it possible to use older AIO coolers for intel cpu's like i7 4770ks on the 3600X AM4? Because I have a corsair AIO sitting in my old build.
