I was just unboxing my Gamerstorm Castle 240 RGB V2 that I bought 2 days ago as I am building second ever PC. There are clearly visible bendy fins on the radiator. Please see: https://i.postimg.cc/yNBxQ3R4/IMG-20210623-233721.jpg This is a cheaper aio. Replacing it will be a huge hassle for me. I like the design and i know this aio is very scarce in my country's market right now. My question is: how huge of a problem is the bendy fins if they are a problem in the first place? Will these bends cause problem in terms of heating? If it isn't an issue at all, I would like to keep the cooler. If it poses any significant problem, I will take actions to get a replacement immediately. Thanks in advance for helping.

Hi! I am pretty new to custom liquid cooling and I have a few questions about tubing. I want to use the EK-Loop Hard Tube 14mm 0.5m - Acrylic tubing for my build. However, I know that acrylic is much more fragile than some PETG tubing. I know that I can probably use a hacksaw or something like that, but I was wondering if I can use a pipe cutter, like one linked HERE. I was watching a Jayztwocents video, and he cracked acrylic tubing with one, but the rest of the internet seems to be fine with using one. I want to make sure that whatever solution I use won't shatter the tubing. I also wanted to know if 14mm OD tubing or 16mm OD tubing will look better with the EK-Quantum torque fittings. Ive heard that the 16mm one matches the 3/4in threads. And custom liquid cooling is kinda all about the looks, so I would like to have the best possible looking loop. Here are screenshots of my EK-Shop shopping cart, just so I can make sure everything is compatible. Note that I am not planning on buying anything in the next few months. I am also planning on buying some soft tubing, linked HERE. I just want to make sure everything is compatible.

Hi, I'm confused on weather to use dyes \ colored coolant like EKWB Cryofuel or just use pure distilled water to have the best cooling? I read that colored coolant may clog radiator and blocks pipes and water ways, but my concern is regarding temps? I wasn't able to locate any benchmark or review. thanks,

Hello, hope y'all have a nice day. Today, I'm trying to figure out where I could place my radiator (first time I bought an AIO) (bought the Cooler Master ML240L V2 RGB). Originally, I wanted to put it on the top, but unfortunately the VRM and RAM sticks are preventing it (with/out the radiator fans), so that leaves me no choice but to mount it to the front of the chassis? Y'see, I have three pre-installed fans at the front of the case (Rosewill T500 Prism). If I were to mount it at the front, could I perhaps do a pull-push config so that I don't have to remove the fans or what's your suggestion? There's a gap between the fans and the tempered glass. Your help is appreciated.

so i bought this aio before a few days ago and the tubes down orientation didn't really look imo so i tried to bend the tubes this way to make it look as clean as possible but i'm afarid that this is too much bending for tubes to handel this is how it used to be:

So, I have a defective MSI Vega 64 Wave just laying around. I have replaced it recently, but I still dont know what exactly is wrong with it, but it shuts down under load. See seperate thread here: But the question is, does any of you know if the PCB on it is reference design or if its specific to that model? Meaning can the cooler be mounted and work on a different card.

Hi! I recently have been looking into hardline water cooling for my build. It's really complicated with what parts work with what and how each of them work. I have been looking at the EKWB CPU blocks and the Corsair Hydro X radiators, fittings, and pump/res. Here are the parts I have chosen for my loop: CPU block: EK-Quantum Velocity - AMD Nickel + Plexi https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-velocity-amd-nickel-plexi Pump/res combo: Hydro X Series XD5 RGB Pump/Reservoir Combo — White https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Custom-Cooling/Pump-Reservoir/Hydro-X-Series-XD5-RGB-Pump-Reservoir-Combo/p/CX-9040004-WW Radiator: Hydro X Series XR5 240mm Water Cooling Radiator — White https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/CORSAIR-White-PC-Build/XR5-White/p/CX-9030007-WW Tubing: Hydro X Series XT Hardline 14mm Tubing — Satin Transparent https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Custom-Cooling/Tubing/hydro-x-hardline-tubing-config/p/CX-9059005-WW Fittings: Hydro X Series XF Hardline 14mm OD Fitting Four Pack — Chrome https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Custom-Cooling/Fittings/hydro-x-fitting-config/p/CX-9052007-WW Here is a sketch of what I want my loop to look like. I want to make sure that everything fits and works together. I also attached an image of what I want it to look like from the side. Here is my current specs list: Ryzen 5 3600 Asus ROG LC240-W ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A Crucial Balistix 16GB 3600Mhz 2TB HDD 256GB NVMe M.2 SSD RTX 3060 Ti FE Lian Li O11 MINI-W Viritcal mount for O11 MINI Seasonic SGX650 Corsair QL120 (3 now, 6 more are in shipping) If there are any more parts or accessories that I need please let me know! Whenever I go to enable xmp in order to increase my ram speed I get a screen that basically says "by selecting yes I have a liquid cooling system" even though I don't, I have an air cooled system and my cooler is a dark rock 4. Why would I need liquid cooling to increase my ram frequency? They're 16gb 3000mhz cl15. I'm using an i7 8700k, Asus rog maximus x hero (wifi ac) mb.

Budget (including currency): ~$1000 Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly AAA Titles, Video Editing, Work Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello everyone, I'm brand new to the forums and need some help on a few issues with my upgrade plans Currently I'm running a 3060ti, Ryzen 5 26000 with stock cooler, 32gb Vengeance 3000mhz RAM, Corsair 220T RGB ICUE with 6 SP Pro RGB 120mm, a 1TB 970 Samsung N.2 drive, 1TB Samsung 860 SSD, EVGA 600W psu. I'm looking to upgrade due to the performance demands of newer titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and one of my friends is looking to getting into PC gaming so I said, "hey you can buy mine once I'm done upgrading it." So right now I'm being told in order to run the i7-10700K, it would be best to liquid cool it. I have my doubts but I'm looking at the Corsair iCUE H115i Elite Capellix cooler 280mm. I love my corsair rgb fans and I'm wondering if liquid cooling is the way to go. Also, I'm not sure if the corsair iCUE 220T is the best case for airflow with RGB on the market and wanted help picking out a new one. I don't want to spend over $200 on a case because, well its a case. I just feel there are some better options out there like the Corsair iCUE 570X or the 465X. If anyone can help that would be very much appreciated. If I were to get a liquid cooler, I would much rather prefer a case that wouldn't look too crammed with that 280mm radiator on top. Spent too many hours watching videos and reading up on this but my overall indecisiveness is getting the better of me. Here are some links to some of the products I'm contemplating: iCUE 570X: https://www.newegg.com/white-corsair-crystal-series-570x-rgb-atx-mid-tower/p/N82E16811139092?Description=570x%20case&cm_re=570x_case-_-11-139-092-_-Product iCUE 220T: https://www.newegg.com/black-corsair-icue-220t-rgb-airflow-atx-mid-tower/p/N82E16811139142 iCUE 465X: https://www.newegg.com/black-corsair-crystal-icue-465x-rgb-atx-mid-tower/p/N82E16811139149?Item=N82E16811139149 Cooler: https://www.newegg.com/corsair-liquid-cooling-system-icue-h115i-elite-capellix/p/N82E16835181202?&quicklink=true

Hi, Where do I plug in my radiator fans which is connected using a y splitter, and my pump 3pin cable? The silverstone manual only displays an image with the words "CPU_FAN" and "pump", so I am not sure which ports I should connect them to. I currently have the y splitter connected to the CPU_FAN and the pump cable to the SYS_FAN5_PUMP. Is this configuration correct? Thanks

This only really applies to the Founders Edition of the 3000 series cards but what do potential cooling set ups look like on those. Seems like if your opting for one of the founders editions that air cooling would be the better way to go but could water cooling your CPU actually be worse or at least not as efficient as air cooling? Would there even be a difference?

Hi! I recently switched to AMD and upon tweaking my new setup, I'm getting the following temps on my Ryzen 3600 oc to 4.375 Ghz at 1.175v on my 360mm AIO Idle temps at 40 deg average Load temps at 68-73 deg average (max detected at 78) Ambient temps at 25-28 deg Are these normal? I was thinking that with my beefy AIO, temps could be lower. Case used is your pretty average mid tower case with 7 120 mm fans. 360 mm Rad at top with 3 fans set as intake 3 fans up front as intake 1 rear fan as exhaust. All intake fans are set at minimum RPM with the exhaust fan set at much higher RPM to compensate for better airflow. After removing the cpu block after about 2 weeks of use, this is what get. The middle seemed to be smooth and not making enough contact with the cpu die although the tpaste was evenly distributed (sorry no pictures). Thanks in advanced!

I have the cougar MX350 case and I plan to buy a liquid cooler, the ML240R, and I wanted to know if it would fit with a gpu like the new RX 6000 series or the RTX 30 series.

Just installed the new Corsair H150i elite capellix 360mm radiator and all parts and for some reason the provided commander pro won't show up in the iCue program. All cables are double checked and all fans are running and Temps seem normal but even updating the program it still hasn't shown up. Need any help I can get to get it to show just to be 100% everything is running well and so I can control it all. Thanks

https://imgur.com/c0NgmUo Gamers Nexus new video states that the best AIO Front Radiator with tubes going down to eliminate air bubbles. Does it really matter? Because I have a 360mm AIO on its way and I'm not sure if the tubes will allow me to orient it from the bottom as the link above shows. * Top rad is not an option. Rad + fan is too thicc and will hit my mobo and ram. My case is an NZXT H440

OK LTT, have you done a build yet using ElectroCool from EngineeredFluids? Please can you consider doing one and filming it for YouTube? https://www.engineeredfluids.com/electrocool This is the future of computer cooling for a number of reasons (mainly being low to no dust and huge energy savings). DCs are starting to do this, but it needs to make it to personal/home systems too.

Hello, I have a Dell Optiplex 7010 with a Intel Core i5-3470. I run it with its stock cooler, which is not very good. The idle temps are 60-70C. One reason they are very high beacuse the ambient room temperature is higher than 30C in day time and it reaches 23-25C in the night time. The temps when gaming are around 75-85C. When stress testing then reach in the high 90s. I wanted to know which cooler can I use in my system. Please give me some budget options. Thanks

Hello LTT forum, I have a few questions or surveys about AIO coolers. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and respond to it. 1. Is there a big difference between 240 mm, 280mm and 360mm Radiator sizes? I have a Corsair H150i Pro that runs quietly even on full load and while overclocking my temps don't reach above 70 degrees according to iCUE. I watched the LTT video talking about the difference between a good air cooler and an AIO and apparently the 360mm AIO lost or something 2. Which type or liquid cooling is the best in performance, AIO or custom in most builds? 3. Referring from question 2, is a custom loop worth it, in terms of both flexing RGB and performance? 4. Does having lesser tube length in a custom loop means more performance as in my logic, lesser tube length means that water could quickly flow to the radiator to exhaust the heat and cycle back to the CPU faster, leading to lesser temperatures. 5. Is custom looping the GPU worth it? 6. How long do you need to change the water in a custom loop assuming the water I use is industrial grade pure water
