I dont even know how this is possible, I have a R9 5900X going to 114% usage and I wanted to know if anyone has any idea what the problem is, I dont have other parts to test and here is what I have of information so far: I start to notice that the cooler was always going 100% and temps were always in 90-95C so I enable the temp limit on PBO on 75C and for my surprise didnt lose any perfomance, still boosting and holding nicely on almost 5GHz on cinebench. Previous to that I was only using PBO with no temp limit. I already tested with PBO desable, clean windows 11 and windows 10 instalation, BIOS reset to default and the problem of the temperature is still there, but the last time I was doing the test I notice that the CPU utilization was over 100%. I started to notice this problem back when the pump of my old AIO stopped working (It was a Lian Li Galahad 360mm AIO 2020 edition, so it had the clogging problem), I though the problem was only temperature because one of the tubes wasnt even flowing water anymore but even with another cooler the temperature problem continues and I dont know if it has relation to the CPU usage problem. On Task Manager it only shows 100% usage because the graph can only go up to 100%. My PC spec: CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X Cooler: Pichau Dark Star P1 Extreme Motherboard: ROG B550 Strix Gaming A RAM: 4x16GB XPG D60G CL18 3600MHz GPU: RX 570 4GB SAPPHIRE PULSE PSU: Corsair RM850X White (2018) Fans: 9 Lian Li Unifans SL 120mm Case: Lian Li O11D

So, fresh tower build from ME, had 2 DeepCool LT720 liquid coolers fail (grinding). They replaced the last AOI with a Lian Li GAll Trinity 360. The tech installed Lian Li's L-Connect software. I didn't ask them to, but it's on. I was using MSI Center for fan control, which seemed to work with the last two AOI coolers, and showed both cpu and pump speed/fan control. Now, it seems like the Lian Li rad fan keeps fluctuating, like every 5-10 seconds, and pump fan doesn't show. Doesn't matter what I adjust on the MSI, or the Lian Li software, it keeps doing it. I don't know what to look for or even where to start. Any advice? What do you need to know? mobo spec: MSI Tomahawk Z790

My case light bar at the front works perfectly if I want one static colour using the C button. However, I've got it plugged into one of the ARGB headers on my motherboard and I'm trying to use the M button to change the light mode but nothing is happening. If I hold the C button down for 3 seconds, the light turns off as expected but pressing the M button does nothing when it should turn it back on according to Lian Li's site. What am I missing? Thanks

Pro: look great, cool LED control Cons: their f#ck3d Everytime you start the PC 1 of the 3 fans is running at full speed, and its noisey, there is only one ways to fix this; the fan cable must be disconnected, then reconnected to the hub. There is no way to fix this via software, including changing to bios settings. So IMO don't buy these, they are more troublesome than its worth, especially for their price. At this moment the back panel of my PC case must remain off so I can access the hub for every boot. I will be replacing these soon, its unfortunate because they do look frickn good and before someone asks, yes the firmware and software is all up to date. and has been uninstalled / reinstalled multiple times

Hello people, I have a problem with my radiator screwholes.. I have a lian li Galahad 360 aio, but the screw holes are not holding up anymore. I wanted to try and buy 1mm larger screws but I’m afraid to hit the parts of the radiator where the fluid comes tru. Since this AIO.. well, it’s pretty good, it would be a shame to change it, it’s working flawlessly still. Do you have a solution that can help me out?

So I ordered the Lian Li V3000+ what I want to do is cover the bottom of the Case. I know I can use Acrylic. but I would like to use a sheet of Aluminum. I just don't know what thickness or what tools I would need to screw it to the case. I don't want to stick it on the case. I would like to actually screw it on. Any advice would be helpful. would I need to thread the Aluminum and if so what tool do you use? what paint would you recommend to color the sheet of metal? I am trying to make a clean look at the bottom where my hardline tubes will pass thru. this is my first time attempting this kind of mod. please any advice or tips.

Have also OC'd 5800X3D with a 102.85 busclock (BCLK), resulting in a consistent 4577mhz OC aswell as undervolted it with 1.19v. With sporadic 4677mhz showing up...sometimes. not sure what causes that, but oh well. Bigger number better!! Bahumbug to AMD who says this cpu isnt Overclockable hahahahaha. Edit: Have added pics of pc off, for better detail of parts and better clarity with no rbg.

Greetings LTT Community, I recently upgraded my "old" PC, or rather built a new one and took over my GPU and PSU. But since setting it up I run into random PC Crashes. For the Crash itself, there is no error messages... It just goes Black, loses display signal (Like when shutting down the PC) and then reboots. Usually it does this a few times in a row and then doesn't crash at all for a few hours and its really strange. For Specs I have the following: ASUS ROG Strix X670E-A AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 2x Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 16GB ASUS ROG Strix GTX 1080Ti O11G NZXT Kraken Z73 RGB AIO Samsung 980 Pro Corsair RM850x PSU Windows 11 22H2 as OS As well as some RGB Stuff like Lian-Li Strimer, 9 total Fans etc. Regarding the Crash there is no "usable" error messages in Event logs (Just an Error for unexpected Shutdown as well as a Kernel-Power one stating that the System Crashed (See Error message below)). I already checked my Setups Power consumption and CPU integrity by Stress Testing my whole System for about half an hour. Drivers, Firmware and OS is up to date as well. I have no clue from what this issue comes from, whether its Soft- or Hardware. Maybe one of you has an Idea or had similar issues in the past. Level: Critical, Source: Kernel Power "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

so basically I built my pc yesterday and unfortunately the third fan's rgb on my AIO, ARCTIC LIQUID FREEZER ii 360 ARB, doesn't work plus it has an open end 3 pin connector. When the fans were interchanged where the same fan was placed into second and the second to third, it occurred again, the new third positioned fan didn't light up the rgb while the older one did. Which means, any fan placed in the third position will not light up the RGB, yet the fans run. In addition, does LIAN LI offer new thumb screws for its case? I lost the screw which removes the top panel on the LANCOOL 3. It is just one thumb screw, I tried all the rest of the screws that came with the box but none of them worked. What should I do in these two situations?

[TLDR] LIAN-LI fan hub came with crappy adhesive which came loose while the pc was running and unplugged one of my rgb headers which (seemingly) shorted out the all the lights in the fans and pump. I have the galahad 360 SL120 edition which is the one that comes with daisy chain fans. When I first hooked it up everything was fine except for the fact that there was no way to control the rgb through L-connect even though everything (except for pump pwm) was connected through the fan hub that came with the aio. The fan hub has the worst build quality imaginable with the rgb headers constantly coming loose and never fully clipping into the designated sockets, and the magnet having no pull to it and relied on the qeak adhesive on both sides which also kept falling off. Anyways, after messing around trying to be able to control the rgb I eventually gave up and stuck with it. At some point while I was playing games the adhesive on the fan hub came loose and cause it to fall which disconnected one of the rgb headers. After shutting everything down, reconnecting the header, and turning the pc back on I noticed that there was no light coming from the pump or the fans connected to the aio. After nearly 2 hours of checking every connection related to the aio and fan hub there came a point where I got half of the top fan to light up very dimly for about 10 seconds before it shut off and never came back on. I spent 4 hours in total troubleshooting and trying to find solutions online before I ultimately gave up and decided to try again today instead. As of yet I still havnt had any luck getting the lights to turn back on and I'm becoming desperate for options. Lian li support says title take up to 5 days for them to even respond to my ticket which isn't counting the days it'll take to possible send a replacement. So I'm coming here to see if there's a fix I can do myself in the mean time. Is there any way I can test to see if it's a problem with the fan hub, or the actual cables connected to the fan and pump themselves? lights not working: fan hub: pump connected to cpu opt: fan hub connected to system fan 2: connected to 5v led header:

I’m building my 2nd pc and have already bought a set of LL infinity fans and a Corsair H150i Elite LCD, I’m planing to buy more LL infinity fans but can I mount them on the radiator without having to use icue software ? Or would I have to use icue ? I want to use the LL software to control the RGB and speed, how would I go about this if possible ? And if I don’t use icue software to control fans would that affect performance on cpu temps ?

Budget (including currency): As much as needed Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440 gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi all, I am in the process of building my first pc now that GPU's are finally becoming available. I pulled the trigger and got all the parts. Although I have done a ton of tutorial reading and watching YouTube videos, I think I have gone a little overboard in the cooling/fan department. Specifically, I am having a problem figuring out how to connect all of the fans and my AIO properly. List of current parts... Case: Fractal Meshify 2 MOBO: MSI MEG B550 Unify CPU: AMD 5900X GPU: EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra 12GB PSU: Seasonic Prime GX-1000 Ram: 64GB (16x4) G Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 CL16 Boot Drive: 1TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus M.2 Extra Storage: 2x2TB Crucial P5 M.2 AIO: Corsair H150i Elite LCD Fans: 7 Lian Li Uni Fan SL120 Misc: Cable Mod extension cables Since this was going to be a pretty top-of-the-line system, I was really inclined to purchase an AIO cooler that had an LCD screen. Also, in my "wisdom" I figured that the Uni Fans would be the best bet to reduce cables for all the fans with RGB. Then, to make everything more uniform (and to appease my OCD) I decided to swap the AIO fans to the Uni Fans. The problem I am having now, is figuring out how to hook everything up, specifically, I will be short on USB 2.0 headers on my motherboard, which only has 2. The fans are going to be configured as follows: 3 intake on front of case, 1 exhaust on back of case, 3 exhaust/AIO fans on top of case. My understanding is that the Uni Fans need to be plugged through the Lian Li fan hub. Even more so, I was hoping to have 2 separate groups of fans that I can control with separate PWM headers (1 for the AIO and 1 for the intake/exhaust fans). The thought behind this is to have the AIO fans linked to the CPU temps while the other fans are linked to the GPU temps. This would require 2 of the Lian Li hubs with each requiring a USB 2.0 header. On top of that, the AIO must be routed through the Commander CORE because of the odd 24pin power cable. Here, the hub and the AIO pump each require a UBS 2.0 header. So now I have 4 total that are required. The Corsair stuff came with a USB splitter. All that being said, here are some options I have managed to create, so I would love some feedback on which you would go with, and why... Also, if you can think of a better option, I am all ears on that. OPTION 1: Purchase USB hub (likely NZXT). This would allow me to get extra USB ports. I would connect the AIO pump, Commander CORE, and the Lian Li hub (with the AIO fans) to the NZXT hub. Then connect the other Lian Li hub (with intake/exhaust fans) directly to the MOBO. This set up will technically allow me to hook everything up and allow me to control the two sets of fans separately with PWM. My concern is that while reading some reviews, people left negative feedback about the NZXT hub because it was not functioning properly, and causing hardware damage. Although not many of those, even a few are a concern. Additionally, there were reports of some people experiencing settings for components plugged into the hub resetting when the PC is rebooted, and that would be quite inconvenient. OPTION 1B: Purchase a different USB hub... although I've tried to look at my other options, the only other ones seem to be made by no name brands, as far as I can tell. But I dont have much experience here, so maybe one of you can recommend a good alternative. OPTION 2: Use only 1 Lian Li hub where I would be able to set the AIO fans to PWM linked to CPU temps and the other fans set to a constant RPM. Plug the hub directly into the MOBO. Then use the USB splitter provided by Corsair and plug the AIO pump and Commander CORE into the MOBO via that splitter. Although not ideal for noise and fan speeds, this is a workable option. My only concern was that some people said they experienced issues with Corsair items when using the splitter (although I am not sure if it was the Commander CORE, or another hub). OPTION 3: Get additional USB splitter that Corsair provides, plug both Lian Li hubs into one and the Corsair items into another. Not sure if this is workable, and whether the items would be stable enough. See concerns in OPTION 2. OPTION 4: Bite the bullet and buy a different AIO. This option is not ideal since I would likely not be able to return the current AIO and miss the cool LCD screen. I apologize for the super long post in advance. Hopefully some of you can give some helpful feedback on this. Thanks!

Hello guys, I just bought a new case for a better airflow. It's the Lian Li Lancool-215. I have a ASRock B550M-ITX/ac mobo. So... the case has a basic controller for the RGB on the two front fans and the Lianli logo but the issue is that they are not recognized. I plugged the controller to the right header according to the board manual, it's a 3-pin cord. The fans are working, light is on, but i can't control it. I have no idea what i did wrong or what i'm missing. I tried unplugging it and redo it again, but nothing changed. It's my first "RGB" components so i'm kinda lost here. I know i can't control the fan speed, which is fine by me, i just need to know if i can modify the colors. Thanks a lot for your help !

Hi. Can anyone suggest me that how I can get rid of dust from PC? I have Lian Li 215 case with 3x intakes (Deepcool CF120) and 3x exhaust (3x thermaltake pure 12 argb with two of them on a 240mm radiator). I just dusted the PC on 18th March after summer set in and within a few weeks its dusty again. Currently the dust seems to have settled on the PSU shroud and fans seems but clean. Should I install front fan filters? Will it be of any use? One thing to note is that this time the summer season is pretty dry when compared to other summers. Like 30-50% humidity and where I live its a bit dusty.

usb3.2 Do cases have specific USB standard compatibility?
Austroknot posted a topic in Cases and Mods
So I was looking at the ROG Crosshairs VIII Extreme mobo and saw that it supports the newest USB 3.2 Gen 2 2x2 data transfer protocol at 20Gbps. I have previously bought a Lian-Li 011 Dynamic computer chassis (because I’m basic and unoriginal) for this computer build and it has me thinking whether or not my case itself needs to support that, and that it’s not enough that my motherboard has that functionality. If I’m not mistaken, years ago I thought there were cases that support USB 2.0 but not 3.0 so I figured that the case can determine data transfer speeds even if the motherboard supports it but now I’m not sure if that’s a fact or just something I assumed…? Also is it the same for Thunderbolt 4 since this motherboard supports that as well? -

My question is about the air flow difference between Side Panel mounted fans vs Front Panel. There aren't videos that I can see so if there is a member of LTT that scans the forums for ideas to steal for a video this is one! But fr is there a noticable difference? I'm just picturing in my mind that the air flow may get messed up from the way the direction goes unless I'm thinking to hard about this. Let me know your thoughts. Hi. I am very interested in the Lian Li Galahad 240mm, but I heard in a Gamer's Nexus video that there is a noticeable pump whine, as well as several Reddit posts about it. I am curious is that a really loud noise or is it relative to the listener. I am curious if anyone has either the 240 mm or the 360 mm if they faced that issue, and if they did, could they make a recording of said noise so I can hear it for myself. I want to hear if it is something I can live with. Also did anyone have that issue and was able to solve it? Thanks in advance.

Hi, i am currently considering between these 2 cases but have considered the lianli case first. Therefore i order 6x noctua F12 fans as i know the case doesn’t come with fans pre installed. I meed some reviews on both cases. I have ordered a NZXT X63 AIO, new PSU which is a EVGA GA 850W(the revised version), and recently got my Palit 3070ti. I love both the case choices but for the difference in price i can justify with buying half the amount of noctua fans im buying. Please do let me know more

I’m thinking about which case is better to get the lian li 011D mini or the 011d. I really like the mini Bc of its smaller size but the few things that set me back are the limitations like not much radiator support if you want an ATX motherboard and the sfx power supply which is a little harder to find and more expensive than a regular psu. What do you guys think I should do. Plus I like the minis design over the normal one

Very soon I’m gonna build a new gaming pc and I have been looking for a case and I have found that I liked pc cases with hidden PCs just like the Lian li 011 and the Inwin 303. I really want to find cases just like these but I haven’t found the type of cases they are so if anyone knows the name of these types of cases with hidden psu’s please help
