Good Afternoon, I recently rebuilt my PC in a new case with new fans. I switched from 6 Corsair's HD fans to 9 Lian Li's Uni SL 120 fans. After the rebuild when I power my PC on it starts up, after a second or 2 it shuts off, and then boots normally. Could someone please advise what could be the problem and what I could try to fix it? Hi! I recently got the Lian Li o11 MINI, and I want some new RGB fans to show off my build. I want it to look nice, so I was considering the Lian Li UNI fans, but those are WAYYYY overpriced at the moment (MSRP=80 USD, right now they are selling for 150+ USD) Then I looked at the QL and LL fans from Corsair, both of which I am 100% willing to get, but then I saw a budget option, the Lian Li ST120. Only available on Newegg, they are $40 for 3 fans, and I am heavily considering them. They aree the same fans that come with the Lian Li Galahad AIO. So my question: Which one? Wait for the UNI fans to be better priced, get the LL or QL, or save some money and grab the ST120 when the get in stock?

Hi guys So i recently got the Lian Li o11 Razer Edition and built my pc on it. This was my first build so i am new to this stuff. I noticed my case lights up as expected but the synapse software will not recognize it. I saw this Razer chroma ARGB controller and i think i could connect my case rgb header to that and then i can use the synapse to control the case rgb. I want to know if my way of thinking makes sense and if it works? I will also buy a Corsair h150i elite and i my idea is to connect the fan rgb header on the same razer controller to sync them all up. Can i do all this or is there something that i don´t know about?

Hi, As per my query, I have recently installed in my system 1 unifan sl140, 3 sl120, 24pin stimer and 3x 8pin strimer. When using these components on their own customization, L-connect for the uni fans and the controller for the stimers, they function normally and show the correct rgb light or style but upon syncing them with the motherboard and editing it via asus armoury crate, the lights or style for them are only halfway. For the unifans, only half of the led will display what is being controlled by armoury crate while the other half still shows the previous color/style from L-connect while the strimer only has lights at about 1/4 of the stimer the rest has no light at all. So I am wondering, if it is a compability issue but I think lian li works with asus motherboards, so asking for any help or suggestions on how to fix it. Thank you.

I've almost built my new PC. My first build. Lian Li 011 Dynamic Mid Tower AMD Ryzen 7 5800x RTX 3080 Ti ASUS B550-E Gaming Mobo 500gb M.2 Western Digital 2.5" 1TB HDD 6 Lian Li Uni SL120 fans with controller(s) The issue I'm now facing is what AIO CPU Cooler to buy and how to connect it (and its fans) in such a way as to have all the Addressable RGBs to work from the Lian Li software in harmony. On the other hand, I want my fans to move in such a way as to create the best environment for my internal PC. So my question is, "What is the correct way to connect the AIO either to the Mobo or to the Lian Li Uni fan controller for optimum performance and for the simplest good looks (headers, cables, etc...)?"

Hey all just as the titles says i'm looking for the diameter of the tubing with the existing outer cloth covering for the Lian Li Galahad aio. I'm wanting to make some custom pink sleeves for it to go with my next build but don't have it in hand yet plus i would rather have every thing on hand on build day instead of having to take thing back apart at a later date. Thanks for the help in advance! [Also sorry if this is in the wrong place. I was torn between this and cooling but since it's a mod technically this made more sense to me.]

Hey peeps! I wanna hear which you prefer... the new Lian Li Air Mini or the Lian Li O11D mini? Which one and why? I currently have both in transit from Newegg and I'm honestly 50/50 between which one I want to keep and which I want to return

So, I've been wanting to buy a Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh Performance for a few weeks now (haven't been restocked in weeks, no idea If it will). So I'm stuck deciding between a Corsair 4000d airflow or Lian Li Lancool 205 Mesh, both are about the same price (around ~80usd and ~75usd), gonna buy one of those two next week and finish my new build. I could also go for a Cooler Master Masterbox TD500 Mesh, but I've heard that the 4000d airflow is better. I can use a 120mm fan from my old Lancool K62 If I decide to go for the 4000d, or I could just buy a 140mm fan and use a stock 120mm fan as exhaust.

Ever since I upgraded my GPU to an ASUS TUF RTX 3080 the power cables that are connected to the GPU are pushing against the glass side panel pushing the GPU in the motherboard and slightly bending the motherboard in the process. I asked around and people said it's fine but it is still bothering me I found this 3D printed side panel spacer https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5173568 and tried it out. Before the mod total width of the O11 Dynamic is around 270mm(265.5mm on their website) with an air cooler clearance of 155mm After the mod the total width of the O11 Dynamic is now 286mm with a theoretical air cooler clearance of 171mm!(Noctua NH-D15 is 165mm) And the power cables does not touch the glass side panel anymore Plus you can print it to any color that you like. Don't mind those rubber blocks at the bottom, I added those for extra airflow for the bottom intake Just sharing this to anyone who owns a O11 Dynamic and is also bothered with the power cables pushing against the GPU.

Hi, I have been looking for a Lian Li O11 EVO case but it's out of stock everywhere it could be found (Newegg and Amazon US). It can't be found in Canada. They can be found in some retails store in Australia but online order can't be done from Canada. Is there a reason for the case to be out-stock everywhere or how can we know when they will be available again ?

Hey everyone, So i've recently built a pc with a ryzen 5 5600X currently i'm using the stock cooler but i'm planning on changing the stock wraith stealth cooler to get better temps. I'm trying to decide if i should go for an air vs liquid cooler. I wanted to know if the drop in temperature justifies the price of going from a budget ish air cooler to a 240 mm aio. I'm currently living in egypt so i'll share some options available to me and their prices. So for air cooling i was considering something like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo ARGB which costs 1290 egp which is equivalent to 82.13$ If i go for an aio i would consider the lian li galahad 240mm or the cooler master ml240 illusion which both cost around 140$ on average where i live. I wanted to know if the price increase from air to liquid is worth it for the extra cooling or not, and if possible what kind of cooling performance would i be expecting form both.

lian li Finding the Ideal AIO for a ryzen 5 5600X
spiritshifter posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
Hello everyone, i built a new pc as an upgrade from my older one. They CPU i chose is the ryzen 5 5600X , i decided to give the stock fan a go to see what kinds of thermals i'll be getting and decided that i want to have a lot cooler temps. I want to go for a 240 mm aio, and given where i live i narrowed down my options to two choices. Either the lian li galahad 240mm or the cooler master ml240 illusion. After checking a lot of reviews and investigating, i realized that the lian li aio performs really well for it's price. However i heard a lot of complaints about the pump whine on it. For example check this other post to get an idea about what i'm talking about. https://linustechtips.com/topic/1382232-how-loud-should-be-an-aio-pump/?tab=comments#comment-15055895 Although i'm aware that the pump noise can be reduced by finding the optimal voltage to apply to the pump, i wanted to know if going for the quieter cooler master aio in this case will also be a good choice for the ryzen 5. So overall i wanted to know if anyone has either of those aio's for the ryzen 5 5600X what kind of temps are you experiencing, and is there a significant gap between the performance of the 240 mm lian li when comparing it to the cooler master ml 240 illusion ? I’ve seen most builders mounting their radiator with push/pull vertically on their Lian Li Dynamic O11 XL (likely due to their motherboard limiting space at the top but maybe also simply because that’s just how they see that config installed on YT). I’m still convinced though that it makes more sense to do the push/pull on top, but with a twist that will drastically improve airflow and efficiency (hence noise). The trick is to add at least a 1cm fan shroud on the push, like this one ~> https://www.etsy.com/listing/1039536618/120mm-radiator-fan-shrouds — size will depend on how much space your mobo leaves you, but some may have enough room to add a 2cm shroud or 2x 1cm shrouds (one on each side, sandwiched between the push and pull, and your rad in the middle). This config lets you keep the intake vertical but also with a twist, thanks to a mod like this one: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1077360917/120mm-lian-li-o11-fan-shroud-intake ). Additionally, 3D-printed custom shrouds like those can push that mod even further: how about 3x 140 intakes at the bottom? Yep, you read that right, 3 of them! Here’s the shroud for it ~> https://www.etsy.com/listing/997831952/lian-li-od11-dynamic-xl-3x-140mm-fans I’ll be attempting this alternative config this weekend and will post pics next week if it works. I’ll be using 7x Lian Li AL120’s (they look better than the SL120’s imho —especially in white/silver— but most importantly they boast an improved max static pressure at 2.62mm-h2o, better performance in air flow up to 64.5CFM, and lower noise levels with a 17-28.3 dB range). I’ll be using 4x SL140’s for the bottom set (eagerly waiting for the AL140’s this December!). 7x 120’s because I’m be also adding a 120 rear exhaust, and also with a twist: a fan shroud but this time larger (3cm). Where to get those? Makers3DPrints on Etsy seem to be the only ones printing such shrouds atm. Now you may ask: why the trouble? Well, first these are very inexpensive mods, so why not try? But most importantly the following study demonstrates clearly how adding fan shrouds increases fan efficiency and lower water temperatures by close to 30%! ~> https://www.techpowerup.com/MartinsLiquidLab/Radiator-Fan-Orientation-And-Shroud-Testing-Review.html As a side note, if only the O11 was a bit deeper (or a bit longer by just a few centimeters) —I have 2 large Zotac RTX 3080 in there and they unfortunately take space slightly over the rad in that config— I would then certainly move the rad vertically like everybody else, but I would then also add 3cm (ideally) shrouds on both push and pull fans. Anyway, I digress. Because my Asus ROG Dark Hero is a pain (it leaves very little room at the top), i can add only one shroud and a short one at that (1cm, maybe 2cm if I slide the rad slightly towards the right) but anyway, 1 shroud is better than nothing, especially on the fan pushing towards the rad. And when it comes to the flush shroud installed in the back of my case for the intake, its main benefit is to take only fresh air in, not mixed with air heated by the PSU. As for having 3x 140’s at the bottom, well let’s just say the whole set should be MUCH quieter at lower rpm, while having constant positive pressure in the case. Feel free to change my mind though, I love to be proven wrong. No seriously. I’m not a pro by any means, but have been obsessed with air flow efficiency and finding ways to avoid water cooling GPUs, even when you have 2 monsters like RTX 3080’s…

So basically I found out about this case through some old forum posts and websites, and it's absolutely perfect for my home NAS project and some other things I want to do. It really has everything I want and need down to the exact number of 5.25" bays. Alas it's from like 2007 and has been out of production for so long I can't find it anywhere. No official retailers or even ebay. There was apparently a revision a little later on that has better fan support and even USB 3 but if I can find any version I would be happy. If anyone has one they'd be willing to sell, or knows where I can get one in this day and age, that would be great. Any help is appreciated. I even reached out to Lian Li but they just told me it wasn't available anymore and to look at their newer cases.

I just bought a Galahad 240mm and i’m desperately trying to lower the cpu fan speed. It spins constantly at 3200 rpm even when idling and it is too noisy. Amazon said the fan had a max speed of 1900 so i’m still trying to figure out how it suddendly became 2/3 higher. Maybe that was referred to the pump itself and not the pump fan? i have no idea, but they surely should have said that. Honestly i don’t even know if the pump speed and the cpu fan speed are the same or if they are separated since in the bios there is both a “aio pump” and a “cpu fan” but some people treat them as the same thing. I tried changing the speed in the BIOS but nothing happens. i tried changing the speed in msi afterburner but nothing happens. i tried changing the speed in ai suite 3 but the program says the cpu fan has an adjustability of 0% (a range that goes from 3200 to 3200 rpm). I already had to send back my capellix cause it was even louder at much lower fan speeds, but this too noisy as well. My only hope is a post on reddit of a year ago where someone said they managed to lower it to 60% or even 40% of the full speed and the fact that this is possible is supported by one of the people in the comments saying that lian li support told him the fan should always stay at maximum speed.

hi, i've tried everything from unplugging USB and reconnecting them (it did worked for a day, then next day after turning the PC back on, the application doesn't work anymore), and i've tried uninstalling the LIAN LI USB from device manager and the L-Connect and reinstalling them as administrator (didn't work). if you guys know how to fix this issue, please let me know; this is very annoying. I was watching a PC build in Korean & it had what looked like a chunky 240 rad with inset fans & a built in pump branded as Lian Li. What is this called & is it any good? It looks like an elegant cooling component for crammed or sff builds, I definitely want to look into it.

I'm looking to try out vertical gpu mounting with the O-11 Dynamic. I realize that Lian Li have their own vertical gpu mount for this case, but would I also be able to use 3rd-party gpu mounts just fine?

I just got a new pc a couple weeks ago and I ordered myself some of these rgb gpu cables (8pin) for my pc. It’s for my 3060 Ti with an a520 am pro msi mobo. I tried connecting the rgb into the rgb hub that came with the pc( pics included). However the 3 pin on the rgb strip is much larger than the female connections on the rgb hub. Are there any adaptors for this ?

Hey peoples, noob here! I am loving the Lian Li TU150 case but as much as I do, I can't sacrifice not having my AVerMedia Duo Capture Card. I most probably am missing something obvious but browsing motherboards and different builder sites only allow for the little mini boards. I'd love to make this happen bc I am mobile with my rig and need my DSLR with me for work. So I guess another "Portable" case is my second option. I guess the Sliger SM580 is the simple solution but I like the chonky boi TU150 and SM580 is almost four times the price!? [EDIT] The mini boards like on the picture only have a place for the graphics card. I believe up to triple PCI slots covers. Mine is a double. I'd like to utilize the bottom space for my capture card but all the mini motherboards don't allow it! (Sorry for lack of actual question!) Thanks you for your time! ~Seth

Hi, I have XPG core reactor 850w gold and planning to get lian li dynamic mini case. The case is rated SFX -L for PSU and my PSU is rated ATX, however, comparing spec the mini should fit 165mm max PSU length and my PSU is150mm!! So am a bit confused now! Will it fit?

Hi! I've got a question about cooling and fans Would I be able to connect SP120s to a Deepcool Castle 360 RGB V2? (if so, would I need any certain parts?) If it is necessary, my Motherboard is (going to be) an MSI MAG B460 TOMAHAWK ATX LGA1200 Thanks!
