Hi, I'm new here! I just wanted to ask why is my monitor still on power saving mode? •I tried draining the power (both system unit and monitor) •Removed and re-inserted cmos battery/graphics card/ram/motherboard and graphics card power cables, replaced my vga cable •Disconnected and reconnected cables (hdmi to vga adapter/vga cable/usb keyboard and mouse/ethernet cable/power supply cable/avr) •Tried cleaning my ram and vga cable This is not a new build but rather new parts (cpu, mother board, graphics card) though I haven't changed my ssd, hdd, ram (2x8gb 2666mhz), power supply (Seasonic s12iii 80+ bronze 550w), and monitor (LG Flatron L177WSBS) *Side note: my unit beeps (one short beep) everytime I turned it on* I don't know what to do know it doesn't display anything at all, just power saving mode. Specs: Ryzen 5 3600 Wraith Stealth Cooler Asus TUF B450 Gaming Pro Zotac Gaming 1650 Super Twin Fan Ramsta 2x8gb 2666mhz Adata SU650 120gb SSD Seasonic S12III 550w Thanks for the help! UwU

Does anyone know the differences between the two monitors? I'm looking to buy a set of two, they are both around the same price. Having a difficult time choosing. Will be for design and some gaming.

LG is for $500 while Samsung is $680, however which is better? Or are there any other great looking ultrawide monitors in this price range? Need some help. The idea of a QLED monitor sounds great... but is it worth the premium? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1574085-REG/lg_35bn75c_b_35_ultrawide_ips_monitor.html/qa https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1405059-REG/samsung_c34j791_34_qhd_3440x1440.html

Hey, So I yesterday bought this monitor: LG 27GN750 It's a IPS panel 240Hz and it works amazing. The only problem is that I am not able to make the colors look great. I usually play CS:GO and had BenQ XL2411P earlier. The colors on this IPS looks shit if I compare to my settings on a TN panel. I really need some help setting up the colors. If anyone has solution to this, please recommend. Also, you can see this monitor color looks so good in this video by Linus however looks shit on mine.

Hey guys, I wonder where can I find the 48" Lg CX that Linus reviewed recently in Europe? Can't seem to find any, in all stores. Is the european model labeled as a different model maybe?

Hey guys! I ran into a setup where I got stuck and couldn't get to either make it work or to find the exact reason why it won't work. So please, help me out if you can! :) The setup: LG UltraFine 4K (24MD4KL-B) display with Thunderbolt 3 + USB-C hub in one of the USB-C ports MacBook Pro (2018) with Thunderbolt 3 connected to the TB3 input with TB3 cable Xiaomi MiBook Air 13.3" (2016) with USB-C 3.1 gen 1 connected to the TB3 input with either TB3 or USB-C cable, Windows 10 The good: The display works like a charm with the MacBook Pro, normal USB devices attached through the USB-C hub are recognized and working, MacBook is charged ---> all with a single TB3 cable The display is getting video/audio signals from the MiBook ---> with TB3 or USB-C 3.1 cable The bad: The display is not charging the MiBook, however both supports PD and the MiBook only needs 45W while the display can charge with up to 85W. I tried with TB3 cable and USB-C 3.1 gen 1 cable with PD support and none of them worked. Yes, the MiBook only has a USB-C 3.1 gen 1 port, but that's where it gets power from the original power brick and it works just fine. Also the USB-C hub and the connected devices are not showing up on the MiBook with Windows 10. The weird: Previously I had a Philips 258B6QUEB display which has USB-C 3.1 gen 1 input and also support PD (up to 60W) and it was working with both the MiBook and the MacBook without an issue (charging as well) and without any additional drivers. The question: So what am I missing? Why is the LG UltraFine not charging my MiBook? As far as I know, TB3 is backward compatible with older USB-C standards and power delivery should work. And although it's not the most important thing to get the USB-C hub working with the MiBook it'd be a nice to have. Any help would be appreciated! Have a good one, Pistabaaa^

Hi there, I currently have LG 24MK600M 24 inch IPS monitor(https://www.lg.com/hk_en/monitor/lg-24MK600M). This is my first IPS panel monitor. However I see that it's casuing eye strain. The display is good but it looks more in contrast and rich. I've used blue filter and etc but still after I use for like 2-3 hours and my eyes are red. I'm planning to switch from Samsung VA panel (https://www.samsung.com/in/monitors/curved-cf390/LC24F390FHWXXL/). Is it advisable? It looks like IPS is still LCD and I want to move from LED. let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks.

I just got an LG CX because I am planning to get a PS5 and a new gaming pc, however, I've seen so many posts about this tv having issues with vrr gamma. I wonder if should return the tv and wait for future models that don't have the same issue?

I was imagining yesterday how a Tesla would be with Transparent display embedded in the windshield that would allow you to monitor speed on any part of the windshield and help you in navigating, by putting the whole map in front of you on the screen. Also I had another fantasy but I don't think that its far from today that you can even watch movies on the windshield like Netflix while stopping or on autopilot...(but that is not today or tomorrow it will be in a part where tesla make their car full self driving) I just think that will be a way cooler than anything we have seen plus its practical thing that would ease not be distracted by looking down to adjust any thing

Greetings Community, In the last few years I have fallen in love with LG phones. There are many reasons for this that I do not have time to list. I Originally purchased an LG V30 and loved it. But then a few issues emerged such as the headphone jack not working, charge port being extremely finicky, it not having been officially updated to Android 10 etc. So, I purchased a GSM unlocked LG V40. What I didn't know about this phone was it was an AT&T GSM unlocked phone that (like other AT&T android devices) does not receive any updates at all unless it is connected through the AT&T network (which I confirmed through much research and contacting AT&T). I then thought it would be as easy as flashing the factory firmware on the device, but oh no; it was no where close to being that easy. After much difficulty with getting the correct and current DLL to work with LGUP, I then went to find the correct kdz file for this device. Only then I found that the android 10 kdz file for the AT&T V405UA was no where to be found. After this I decided to try to flash the Verizon variant for the V405UA only to find the error for crossdl from ATT>VZW. So this is what I am asking/wondering: Is it possible that anyone can find the Android 10 kdz file for the AT&T V405UA? Is there another way to flash a factory Android 10 firmware/os to this phone? What my phone is currently running: Android version: 9 (Pie) Android security patch Level: January 1st, 2020 Software version: V405UA20y Model #: LM-V405UA Not sure if @ShrimpBrime would be the guy to ask or not, maybe he would know who?

Hi people, I've been having an issue with my LG Plasma TV not outputting sound from HDMI devices. Let me explain the dilemma and what I've tried to do to rectify it. Bear with me it is a little long winded. I really hope someone could shed some light on this. So I've got an older LG 50PG3000 Plasma TV, it has worked wonderfully for the past 10 years without any issues, I have a PS3, Xbox One X, Fire TV Stick, PC, a satellite set top box (SkyTV), and an Apple TV that I connect up to the TV. All of them have stopped outputting sound from the TVs built in speakers but continue to output video, the only exception to this is the Apple TV which produces video AND sound. The TV has a built in Digital Freeview Tuner which also produces sound. Trouble Shooting steps: Unplugged all HDMI Devices Factory Reset TV Plugged AppleTV in with known good HDMI cable. Tested on all 3 HDMI ports on TV and all produce video and sound. I then repeated the above with the other devices, none of which produced sound only video on all 3 HDMI ports. I tried 3 other known good HDMI cables and repeated above, I even switched the cable ends (just to eliminate any possibility of cables or devices having one directional use) I updated the software on all possible devices to no avail. I then connected the other devices to a monitor with speaker output via 3.5mm jack, every device output sound perfectly as expected. Here's the funny thing, the PS3 issues an error stating, "This device cannot be used to output sound", and the PCs (of which I have 3 and 1 laptop) cannot even detect the TV as present/connected for audio even after multiple uninstalls and reinstalls of drivers. From everything I have tried above I cannot fathom what is causing this issue to happen. There would appear to be no issue with the speakers themselves as the sound clearly works when using the Freeview tuner and Apple TV, also it would appear that the HDMI ports on the TV work fine too given the Apple TV outputs sound. Given the other devices would out put sound via another monitor using the same HDMI cable I can assume that the devices themselves and the cable are working as intended and therefor must be an issue with the TV itself. So my question that I have been unable to get an answer to is this; what in the heck is causing this! The devices worked with the TV perfectly fine for years and now only the Apple TV outputs sound. I would really appreciate help with this, I'm at a complete loss. Thanks! D.

I need to choose between two monitors... specifically: 2x Acer ED320QRP 32" 165Hz Gaming Monitors https://www.evetech.co.za/acer-ed320qrp-165hz-gaming-monitor/best-deal/8377.aspx 2x LG 27GL650F-B 27" FHD Gaming Monitohs https://www.evetech.co.za/lg-27gl650f-b-144hz-gaming-monitor/best-deal/7615.aspx Both cost exactly the same amount. The differences that I am worried about are as follows: The acer is 32" whereas the LG is 27" The acer is curved whereas the LG is flat The Acer does not support HDR whereas the LG does The Acer does not have an IPS panel whereas the LG does The Acer is 166Hz whereas the LG is 144Hz The Acer supports Freesync whereas LG supports G-sync (I have an Nvidia GPU) The Acer has 5ms response time whereas LG has 1ms I am very much conflicted over which to buy, and I need to make a choice between these two. Any and all help is very much aplreciated

I want to buy a new monitor. I need it both for ps4 (slim) and computer. Do you think LG 32GK650 is a good buy, still? And how does a 1080 ps4 game look on 1440 monitor?

Ok, somebody please explain what is going on. I am trying to connect my LG C9 to a windows 10 PC via HDMI When I plug it into the HDMI port on the graphics card, it locks windows on my main monitor and even entering the password just loops back to the lock screen. If I unplug my monitor and just have the TV connected it shows on the TV but also stays stuck in the lock screen loop. The TV is receiving signal as it displays the lock screen. It's something to do with Windows 10 not playing nice. The TV's firmware is up to date. The NVIDIA drivers are up to date. Please someone explain this before I lose my $h!t. Thank you PXL_20200929_215239578_(1).mp4

Hey, I switch my old 24" 60Hz 1080p monitor to a brand new LG 27GN850 (1440p, 144hz, 27"). And since I got this screen, I have weird bug ingame as you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NsNxNYkgF8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USLOfmW2bAQ I tried to change the HDMI cable, change port, and I still have this problem. And the worst part is that I asked for an exchange, but I still have this issue. I don't really think that my rig is the reason of that, I have a decent config (i5 9600kf, 32go ddr4, RTX 2060S). Can somebody help me please?

Curious issue that's been happening for a while now: Seemingly most times when my phone starts a piece of software that's going to use mobile data, the radio resets. I lose data, then it comes back a few seconds later. Bandcamp, various games, business apps, etc. A couple of days ago, it went away and wouldn't come back. I had to restart my phone. It should probably also be mentioned that my phone will not restart properly. It will always hang on the carrier logo screen. To get it to properly restart, you have to use the button combination that simulates a power cut (i.e. taking the battery out, putting it back in). After I did that, my data's been back. For another data point, I did try to turn off and turn on the radio in settings, no change. I also verified it wasn't in Airplane mode. I haven't factory reset my phone since I bought it a couple of years ago...it's been through the OS updates years of crap, etc. I'm curious though if the mobile data radio is software related or if there's a hardware reason for it. I'm resigned that I'll need to purchase a replacement phone sooner rather than later, but I'd rather not hasten the need for it, ya know? If the mobile data finally died for good on a factory reset, that'd pretty much be the clincher. Thoughts? Opinions? Experiences?

Samsung and LG will stop supplying display panels to Huawei
realpetertdm posted a topic in Tech News
Summary Samsung and LG won't (can't) make displays for Huawei anymore. Quotes According to South Korean media SBS CNBC, this is because Panel DDIs (Display Driver IC) also fall under the new restrictions set in place by the US government. Currently, Samsung Display and LG Display are supplying smartphone display panels to Huawei. Starting on September 15th, they will stop supplying display panels to Huawei. Huawei is reportedly looking to BOE, China Star (CSOT), Visionx and other Chinese suppliers to replace Samsung and LG. However, it looks like this isn't going to impact the South Korean display industry too much. An industry insider explained that Samsung and LG Display's sales to Huawei are small compared to the semiconductor industry, and that losses won't impact the companies too much. My thoughts The restrictions set in place by the US government are expected to last after the election, so this is probably not a temporary measure. Considering that Samsung has massive market share in the smartphone OLED industry, its going to be hard for Huawei to find a replacement that can make enough displays for their phones. Huawei now has to rely on Chinese parts manufacturers, both with semiconductors and display panels. This isn't looking too good for Huawei, this is probably going to lead to less smartphone production on Huawei's end. Hello everyone I recently purchased a new LG 32GK650F-B 32 inch monitor and am having serious grey and black banding occur when trying to watch or play anything. Ive tried adjusting every setting on both my monitor and NVIDIA control panel but have absolutely no luck. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Pic attached for reference. Also it is plugged in with display not HDMI and my internet is hardwired and incredibly fast so I doubt its a streaming issue. All settings are set to highest quality available within the streaming apps themselves.

Hi all! Do you have any opinions/thoughts on which could be better for my case? I have been investigating for a couple of hours and have reduced my parameters to: Budget: 200-400£ Distance from the screen adjsutable between: 65cm (2.13255 ft) and 90cm (2.95276 ft) Use: For office work (Developer/SW).
