A lot of the time when I open chrome, it doesn't launch. The process is shown running in task manager. I've tried ending the process opening chrome again to no avail. The only solution at the moment is restarting, which is not convenient in the middle of class

I say interesting because this kinda busts all our previous speculations about this card. In a nutshell, the glorious Fury card might come in 3 variants: -Fury-Nano >>> Supposedly the watercooled one which appeared in various renders and pictures. -Fury XT >>> Might come with a triple fan air cooler(I smell some Sapphire stock cooling, but that's me) -Fury PRO >>> Also air cooled and possibly being the candidate for further aftermarket cooling.(Fury Lightning anyone?) Observe the words. "Might, speculation". It's a rumour, triggered by the apparition of "Nano" in the name. The pictures are the same as before. This being said though we're very close to the official launch at E3, so any further speculation kinda seems pointless. As always, take this info with a grain of salt, and leave your thoughts below.

I guess now its all properly official, the E9+ and M9+ (aka the M9 that should've launched EVERYWHERE) are now for sale in China. Its not just China that has an obsession with large phones, most of the world now does. So I'm pretty sure North America would've loved this phone as well. So GTA V for PC is officially LIVE! Whether you have purchased the game through Rockstar, store bought, or Steam, you copy of GTA V is now active. The only issue is since everyone wants to play this game, the servers are getting hit fairly bad. When you launch the game, don't expect to be in for a fast launch. Hope this port is good and that is was not a waste of money and time. Have fun everyone. Update #1: Something I just found out, check the downloads section as it shows the progress of the un-encryption and allocation for the files. That is what will most probably take the longest unless Rockstar didn't learn from their mistakes when the game first launched on consoles. Update#2 - Provided by @DIV1D3 Just want to say that there might be issues with installation because of Windows usernames, there is a Steam announcement about it. The company that basically invented the product launch madness is now working hard to get rid of them. Its amusing. The grand circle of life in which companies mocked Apple fans as sheep for standing in line (said companies who now pay people to attend events as "fans" no less) now ends with Apple coming up with a way to get rid of lines entirely for new product launches. I don't disagree. People are idiots. Malls and other complexes don't appreciate bums bumming days in advance just to scalp product. If the rumor mill about AMD Fury wasn't already working overtime (see Fury Pro Delay), a new rumor suggests that AMD may be limited to producing roughly 30,000 HBM Graphic Cards for 2015. The rumor suggests that a shortage in HBM memory (rumor upon rumor) is to blame. Not only would this look bad for AMD, but prices would easily skyrocket with a (perceived) limited supply. To put this number in perspective, AMD shipped 8,000 BF4 Edition 290X's alone at the launch of Hawaii, and Hawaii cards sold out within hours of launch. It's also said that Nvidia sold 1 million GM204 chips in 2.5 Months after launch (gtx 970, 980 with lots of buyers going SLI). Is this AMD trying to hype up their new cards and inflate the prices? Somehow I doubt this is a PR stunt. AMD have likely ironed out prices with vendors already, and vendors inflating prices does not mean more money for AMD. Well, 1999 Yuan, so if the price gets adjusted for the USD appropriately the price should be 350, just like the OPO. Is this a good deal? Absolutely. But if the OPT comes with the SD 810, is it really a good deal? Everyone else hasn't figured out the 810s issues, I doubt OP will be able to. Maybe a 808 or a surprise swing to a Samsung chip? Who knows. Lets find out. I hope they run a better launch than before and keep the social media shenanigans to a minimum. This may not be breaking news to some, as there had been rumors circulating a few weeks ago that AMD would launch the 390x at E3 or elsewhere, and not at Computex. Apparently these weren't just rumors according to ocaholic. What is not known, is whether the unveiling will be at E3, or held at a separate private event in June. http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/news/article.php?storyid=12414 This news is somewhat confirmed by Computerbase.de in this article http://www.computerbase.de/2015-05/amd-fiji-gezeigt-zur-computex-vorgestellt-zur-e3/ In short, this article states that AMD have plans to unveil Fiji near the 16-18th of June, and have it available for purchase by the 24th of June. Apparently the 980Ti might be unveiled at computex, which could put pressure on AMD to do a paper launch at Computex before they are ready. Using Google translate into english, the article reads in full: It would seem that the Fiji-based graphic cards will not be available for purchase until the 24th of June (if the above article is correct), which may be the reason AMD would want to hold off on the unveiling until E3. I believe that AMD don't want to risk an uproar by doing a paper launch.

Apple is in talks with six Canadian banks for mobile payment service’s first venture outside the U.S. It is about bloody time that Apple (or the Canadian banks, who tend to have a stick up their butts) got this going in a serious manner. Sure, a November release isn't that great, but its better progress for Canada than any other mobile based system that isn't locked to a carrier. Canada has had mobile payments for a while now, if you were with certain carriers. But that is stupid and dumb. Apple Pay, more so than Google Wallet, was the first real proposition that was carrier agnostic and just worked. Or should, if the banks don't screw this up. The Canadian banks want additional security placed on the system to ensure authenticity of the user who is adding their card to the Apple Pay system, which is actually great, but whether this delays the proceedings who knows, Its not even assured that all 6 banks will make the move. Being able to use Apple Pay however is something I'd switch banks for. When you have any amount of money, switching banks isn't a hassle. I'll transfer over my accounts to the bank that embraces the forward move. TD, I hope you get on board with this. I applaud the idea that I can just use my phone as my payment solution. Most days during work and school, I don't have my wallet on me. I do have my phone. If I can add up my AMEX, MasterCard and debit cards to my phone, I ain't even mad. thats very convenient for me, and I'd argue for a lot of people. Apple is making the push that Google should have made years ago, they should've taken this more seriously. Canada is a contactless payment heaven. I don't remember the last time I actually had to swipe a card. File this under "not shocking" even though some people are going to be surprised that such a device could sell so much, so fast. These estimates come ahead of the news that the Apple Watch is in fact shipping now, so consumers might start getting them before the 24th in some cases. I'm pretty amazed. We all know Apple markets well, but this is something else. Hopefully this encourages other smartwatch makers to take the game seriously and make products that just look good and wear good, something that not all Android Wear products have figured out yet. A watch can only be a watch when it kinda fits like a watch. Who'd a thunk it. Make a decent product and market it well, you'll sell a lot. Google, take note. On March 20th, HyperX finally put out info and a product page on their site about their Predator PCIe SSD, shipping now (but only through the Kingston store at the moment, it seems) Seems to have about the same performance as the already-existing Plextor M6e, same Marvell controller after all, but god DAMN is that thing fast. I've had this baaadd itch to upgrade to M.2 recently, and was anxiously waiting for this product to be released, especially since it's one of the only BLACK M.2 drives out there. So I think that Battlefield Hardline is way better than BF4, just because its not Military Oriented(I have my own reasons, dont try to derive me from it) I've heard talks about downloading before launch in origin? Like if i pre-order BF:H(which im going to) can i download it before launch, and be ready when launch comes?? Does this also apply to future coming EA Origin games. Battlefield Hardline looks refreshing honestly. Even though they say the graphics is a step down from BF4. I dont even have BF4 D: Theyre so expensive, i got a call from my trustee vendor that i can get Battlefield Hardline for 44.99 USD(Roughly Converted from IDR) and i think WOW thats a really super low price from 69.90 USD. Also the Digital Deluxe my trustee vendor sells for is 55.99 USD(Also roughly converted). Thats all, oh also reasons on: Why I should not Pre-Order or Why I should not buy Hardline is welcomed, and appreciated.

Gabe's spectacular overreaction to Windows 8 finally has a launch date attached to it. I really don't have much more to say, cause I truly struggle to see the point of something thats priced like a console yet has far less game support out of the box and of now requires a decent computer to stream all your games form anyways. They also showed off Steam Link, which sounds like Chromecast for Steam. Unless I'm missing something entirely... Source 2 Source 2 will be free to all content developers. There will also be Vulkan support in Source 2, we'll probably hear more about Vulkan (and Valve's involvement) in the upcoming GDC talk. Thats all we have so far on Source 2. I wanted to open my BIOS to change hard drives this morning, but it wouldn't open. My motherboard (H61M-P32/W8) says you have to mash delete before windows starts up, but I have a problem. My keyboard won't even turn on until I get the windows logo, so it boots straight into windows. Any help? P.S. It's not a keyboard problem, I have tried with 3 different ones I am also using Windows 10 Preview

It's very funny when you think about it but Nvidia actually sent both of the following images to the press to cover the Maxwell launch. And the images below have conflicting information. These figures are for the total system power consumption. So they're naturally going to be higher than the GPU's power consumption alone. That's not the issue. However compare the GTX 980 and the GTX 680. According to Nvidia the GTX 980 consumes 30W less but we clearly see in the graph above that the GTX 980 actually consumes 12 watts more than the GTX 680. Which actually makes it a 207W card not a 165W card. Then Nvidia does some questionable math to arrive at the 2X performance/w improvement headline. Nvidia divides the TFLOPs by the power to get the performance per watt. So 5 TFLOPS/165W = 30 GFLOPS/W which is twice what the 680 is capable of. Which is simply wrong. Now if you argue that 165W TDP is actually the heat output for the GTX 980 and not power consumption and that the TDP (Thermal Design Power) actually doesn't have to represent power consumption. Then there is something very clearly wrong here because you can't use a measure of heat to get performance/w. The TDP obviously represents power consumption to Nvidia because they used it to measure performance/w. So if you haven't heard SMITE, the latest MOBA from Hi-rez Games, has been brought out of beta. And to commemorate the launch, they hosted what was going to be a 100,000$ tournament. The prize pool, however, grew as players were able to purchase an in-game skin to add 5$ per purchase. 200,000$ ended as the final amount for the pool. Those of you into competitive gaming in general will know some of the teams like Team Dignitas or Team Solo Mid that were at the tournament. I've heard Linus brag about this forum so much, thought I'd give it a go. I am looking at the new "retina"-display laptops. They are only been rumored it seems, and any news I can find is not giving out much. What I "know" so far, is that Intel is starting to demand higher resolution laptop displays, probably due to Haswell. There are som laptops out there (Chrome Pixelbook, Kirakiro), but these are only 13", I would love a 15" display. I heard Acer is working on release of a Ultra-High-Resolution laptop during/after summer 2013, and heard something about late 2013 as well. Does anyone know when these Ultra-Res are to launch?

Hello everyone! I've got a problem. After finishing my first ever build I was about to see if the PC posts, but after turning it on, the power went out. Now, when turning it on again, it just says to boot from the selected boot drive, but I just want to access the BIOS! What do I do?

So I haven't played GTA:SA on my new pc yet, so I install it and run it, nothing happens, the .exe is running but nothing comes up. I have looked everywhere and the only fix is to delete gta_sa.set in my documents/Gta San Andreas User Files, but I didn't have that folder so I got the one from my old PC and put it there, it did nothing, I then deleted the file and tried again, still nothing. Has anyone else had this and if so, how can I fix it? Thanks

Hi guys, [Title] The CELL and emotion engine processors are fricking huge compared to a 3570k (what I own). I'd say the surface area is like 40-60% bigger. How much thermal paste do I use? Does it matter? It will be squished between them anyway, but at the same time, I don't want to have it go over the side. I don't know how the PS3 will handle that (even though there was an obscene amount of white, cheap, thermal chalk on them before I cleaned them). Just curious. Thanks, Vitalius -

hey guys, ever since I had to reset my PC it doesn't load the mouse drivers or keyboard drivers on startup. I have to unplug them and plug them back in. It has worked fine in the past. is there a trick to get it working again?
