Hello, I've been a theoretical PC enthusiast for a while but I recently finally decided to build my own pc. specs: CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K 3.4 GHz 16-Core Processor Thermalright contact frame CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard: ASRock Z690 PG Velocita ATX LGA1700 Motherboard Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory Storage: Western Digital Black SN850X 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive Storage: Western Digital Black SN850X 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive Video Card: PNY RTX A-Series RTX A4500 20 GB Video Card Case: Antec DP503 ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 TT Premium 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply Case Fan: ARCTIC P12 PST 56.3 CFM 120 mm Fans 5-Pack Windows 11 pro Thermals are stable. After some testing I had to set the the Ram to 5600 cl28 which solved my BOD problems and passed memtes86 and windows memory diagnostics. The PROBLEM: One of the main purposes of the build is to work on Solidworks, unfortunately after soldiworks loads up simple activities on a blank file are laggy (especially smart dimensions). This is very starange since this poblem occurs even a simple rectangle. I have a thinkpad p53s which in specs is much more inferior but it is fast enough for small to medium projects. VAR and solidworks forums so far have not been very helpful. Any soldiworks user out there that may have faced something similar? Please help.

Hey guys I have the following components, AMD Ryzen 7 2700x Nvidia RTX 2060 16GB Gskill RGB ram Mobo: MSI Tomahawk B350 Arctic I updated all drivers but can't help buy notice CPU bottlenecks. In Hearts of Iron 4 it has to think too much when things happen, even early game it freezes every 7-9 days or so. Even League of Legends feels really awfull regarding FPS. Not sure if it actually slows down but it feels very unresponsive at times. When clicking menu's in games or clicking stuff in my web browser it feels somewhat unresponsive/stuttery. I've noticed the VRMs get VERY hot to the touch when i'm near it with my hand. I was wondering if this mobo has known issues or if this mobo could be impacting the responsiveness of the PC? Thanks in advance!

tl:dr Ping and lagg spikes across entire pc help plox For the past month i have noticed that i started getting ping spikes and lagg spikes across my entire computer. By this i mean, my ping will shoot up to like 130ms and it will lagg until the ping shoots back down instantly, i mainly notice it in CSGO, Overwatch and Rocket League. Also, something else that happens is, when the spike happens, Discord skype or Teamspeak will lagg at the same time as this. As you can imagine, when playing competitive games, this isn't nice.... Has anyone else had this issue, if so please help?! My Wi-Fi Card : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HC01KMS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I use 5Ghz, not 2.4Ghz

Hello, So, I found out that when my PC is completely rebooted, (mostly after windows updates because I always turn my PC to sleep) my mouse starts spacing everywhere when im playing games, making them inpossible to play. Its caused by a high CPU load, and I looked it up and people say its a common thing. But.. when I used my PC for like a day, its gone. I checked if nothing was running in the background and nothing is. my game is taking like 80-90% of the CPU making it running at full load all the time. I've got a delided i5 4690K 4.6 GHZ paired with a gtx 1080 pushing a 144hz 1080p monitor, so I need all the frames I can get. Anyone knows whats causing this "lagg"?

Hello forums, A few months ago I had some issues with my laptops acting very strange. Programs kept craching and my laptop was just very slow in general. The problems stopped somehow butt now they returned. That's why I would like to ask for help on this forum. So the issues returned. My laptop is just very slow in general but it's quite a new laptop (bought +-1 year ago) Issues I am having: Youtube video's display the loading icon but according to the "playbar" the video is loaded. Most of the programs show the [not responding] tag when started. Dissapears 1 minute later. VERY low fps on very easy to run games. (2 fps on minecraft for example) Music (on spotify) is sometimes interupted for around 1 second, so it's stops for 1 second and just moves on after that second. Imputlagg only on keyboard. When I press a key it takes around 1/2 seonds to display on my screen. Laptop Infomation: It's an MSI GL62M 7RD Intel Core I5-7300HQ 2,5GHz Nvidea GTX1050m 2GB VRAM 8GB of DDR4 RAM 128GB SDD + 1TB HDD If this helps: (this is while my laptop is very slow) Things I tried: Unplug all devices (Mouse, keyboard etc) Unplug headset Multiple virus and malware scans I hope someone can help me. Have a nice day, Luuk Bos

Hello and happy new year! I build myself a new PC, the specs are: Asus Prime Z370-F Mainboard -> the BIOS Version is 0605 Asus GTX 1080TI OC Graphicscard, I7-8700k CPU, Corsair CMR32GX4M4C3600C18 Vengance 32GB RAM, BeQuiet Silent Loop, BeQuiet PowerZone 1000 Watts PSU, Samsung 960 Evo 1x WD Blue with 2TB Asus Xonar DSX Asus DRW-24D5MT CD-Drive So far as i read is every component in the list of qualified vendors for this Mainboard. Everything runs on Windows 10 - 64 Bit. So, here my problem: Every game starts to lagg when there are fast movements i move and the gameworld has to generate ahead The last three days me and a friend tried to solve this problem... we went through the BIOS and did a couple of changes, installed previous MB-drivers (chipset-drivers and all this stuff) Today i did a complete reinstall of Windows and put anything in MB back to the default setting. It is now on the state just as i got it! Nothing really worked... Can anyone of you help me? We are absolutly idealess. If it helps, i can also make a video of this laggs. I have looked on Google and this forum so far, but it seems like i am the one and only person on this planet that has this issue Thank you very much! Greetings

Recently switched from to windows 10 and now whenever I'm playing a game on my primary monitor, the video playing on my second monitor starts lagging. Searched online and found out many other people are having the same issue, but none of the solutions worked for me. The game I am playing is set to borderless windowed What I did so far: Upped the priority of chrome in task manager The resolution of both monitors is the same (1920x1080) (144hz) Changed the multmedia settings in the power options ''when playing video'' Scaling is set to 100% on both monitors Tried using edge instead of chrome Tried having both monitors connected to 1 gpu and also connecting them to different gpu's. Some people said to uninstall geforce experience but im recording videos alot with shadowplay Cant find hardware acceleration options in windows 10, dont know if that has anything to do with it. Both monitors are iiyama Prolite GB2773HS Windows 10 home 64bit i5-4670k 16gb ddr3 @ 1600mhz GTX 760 Thanks in advance

I got win 10 running on a fx6300 with low cost dual channel 8gb ddr3 ram. I am using some SanDisk SSD for the os and a seagate Barracude for data. GPU is a geforce 730gt, mainboard is from asrock, psu is rated at 550w. System was running just fine up until now. Problem is: after restart every menu and program is loading extremely slowly when first executed after restart (taking up to 3 minutes to open) but after it loaded u can close and reload it at a speed that you would expect of this system. This includes the task manager, store, all the right click drop down menus, installations etc. I already checked for errors in the system files, the ram, the temperatures and got all the latest drivers installed. CPU usage seemed to be pretty low at about 0-9%. If someone could help me, that would be great.

So ive bin getting Usage/lagg/and frame spikez when gaming. this issue started lately and seems to only come in to play after having gamed for a little while. could the pch be temp throtteling? as it seems to be the hottest mobo heatsink atm sitting at 62-64'c under load
-
So i have just recently started to get wird frame drops and lagg spikes for no reason (non that i can see) I have tested setting all Oc's to default settings, and been monitoring temps while gaming. example of incidents: gaming star wars battlefront at 3440x1440, Ultra settings and everything cranked. fps is between 95-145 but drops to as low as 15 the second i move my mouse, move ingame or any explosions happen around me. Lowering settings does nothing. temps at there highest are. Cpu: 45-50'c, Lower Gpu: 65-70'c, Upper Gpu: 75-80'c. non sli makes no differance eather. power wise the system is using a corsair hx1200i and while gaming the max load of the full system has yet to exceed 900w. one thing i recently altered but don't think should be the cause of this is that i plugged all my case fans into the motherboards fan hedders instead of the case fan controller, as the controll of the fan Rpm was limited a bit and i never could drop the rpm lower then 1000 on the fans connected to it. any suggestions and help would be great! gaming and daily use like this is just terrible x)
