Hey guys, So I recently got myself a OnePlus 2 to finally get out of Apples eco-system, but I've been having some strange issues with the info tags in my music files, most of which are pretty standard mp3s. I first used iTunes, then VLC, then the AudioShell Windows Shell extension to re-write all my ID3 tags, but it seems regardless of what they say every media player I've tried on both my PC and phone opens them with different information. I'm hoping someone here could provide me some insight into why this is happening, or instructions on how to fix this. I'd like to have my music sorted out properly and with nice crispy album art. Thanks in advance for any help ~Ethan

I started streaming recently using OBS, and when I do I talk to people on skype, and listen\ to music in iTunes. The sound levels sound good to me, but in the stream the volume of the music keeps going up and down. When people start talking (either me or my friends) the volume of the music goes down, and when no one is talking the volume goes up. It doesn't seem to be affected by in game noices. Any thoughts?

Hi all, how are you going? I'm just wondering if you could help me out with something. In the past I had a HDD full of music and it died :'( So I had to redo my entire music library and I cbf doing it again. This is where I need help, I don't know if this is a thing but is there a backup program (preferably free) that can do the following: Specify a folder I wanted backed up on the device. (In my case the iTunes Music Folder and a folder on my desktop called Mpvies) Copies all of the files from said folders to the external HDD. Everytime I reconnect the external HDD it automatically looks for any changes in the specified folders and changes accordingly ( For example if I delete a file and add a file to the folders, then the software automatically deletes and adds the files onto the external HDD. If there is whats the name of it and what software would you suggest for it. Thanks for your help

I was looking through some old CDs today and stumbled upon an old iTunes disc that dates back to 2006. I decided to install it onto my laptop and then compare the two revisions. I also thought "Why not share it on LTT?" iTunes 6 The iTunes store doesn't even work anymore. iTunes 12

So I have been using the Apple iPod Nano 5G for a few years now to listen to music, because my Samsung brick doesn't suppourt that. Welp, it got corrupted (i'm assuming). It was charging all night in my computer and it wouldn't turn on. So, I installed iTunes and it said that I need to reformat my iPod. Simple enough. Right? Wrong. I don't know if it is because this is the first time I've used iTunes on Windows 10, or the new update of iTunes, but it runs like shit. It's always crashing in the middle of restoring my iPod, so now I am left with no music to listen to on my way to class, a useless iPod taking up space on my desk, and a useless copy of iTunes taking up space on my hard drive. Thanks Apple. But really. Does anyone have a solution for possibly fixing iTunes on my PC, because I still need to pump a few more months of life out of this iPod before I can upgrade to a new phone.

The Computer I built for my girlfriend has been having a weird problem with itunes. For some reason, on the desktop alone, Itunes refuses to allow her iphone 4s to sync her music because her phone does not have enough storage. The odd thing though is that she has plenty of space for storage and that this only happens on the desktop I built for her. admittedly, the PC is not activated and is past the 30 day trial thing. I wanted to see what the pricing for windows 10 would be compared to other windows versions before buying an activation key, just to see if it will be cheaper to buy windows 10 or a previous version and then upgrade for free. I was wondering if anyone could claify whether this is a pc problem, driver problem, itunes problem, iphone problem, or windows problem. A google search only revealed a storage problem associated with downloading the ios 8 update, but that isn't what we're trying to do here. Just sync some music. Thanks for the help.

AHHHH! Just built this new HTPC and it's not letting me play .m4v files. These are files that I purchased from the iTunes store years ago and would now like to enjoy them on the new PC. Do I need to get iTunes again to play them? I was trying to use Windows Media Center. VLC and Windows Media Player were also having trouble with this. Please help! Thank you in advance.

Which has the best song quality download I can purchase music from? Amazon or Itunes or Googleplay or the band store itself? I want to pre-order the upcoming Lifehouse album 'Out of the wasteland' which will be out the end of this month and I have never bought any music digitally before. It was either cassette, cd or just stream from online. There's no cd player on my macbook so physical cd is not an option anymore (i wish i still have my discman). Are all of them DRM free and can be played anywhere? Thanks. I'm a huge fan of Lifehouse btw. So happy they are coming to London in October.

Today I plugged my iPhone into the pc to sync(which I have never done before). With my ipad it works fine, but now it gives me the option with my iPhone to set up as a new device or restore from a backup. What will setting up as a new device do?
-
Ok so i have an ipad that disabled because i forgot the password. I need to connect it to itunes. But the problem i have is that every time i connect it, it makes a ding sound that tells you that you connected every half a second and goes back and forth from saying charging and not charging. And itunes says it can't connect to the device. Help.

I have been trying to import some of my old cd's onto my computer so that I can listen to them on my phone and have a digital copy. I usually would just import the songs with iTunes and then use Google Music Manager to add them to my Google Play Library. Recently though, iTunes has been saying it was importing the music but it does it unusually fast and then the "files" it imports are blank, and it will just cycle through the blank tracks endlessly with maybe 1 or 2 actually playing the song

What is your preferred PC music player and why? I'm just wondering if I'm missing something really great out there... came from iTunes (hated it), messed around with Monkey, Music Bee and friends, and settled on AIMP3 for quite awhile until I noticed the sound quality wasn't as good in a side by side comparison with Foobar2000, which is now my favorite by far. Super flexible, can rip, transcode, edit ID3, and has a pleasantly customizable UI with a bunch of plug ins available as well. This is what my current layout looks like (click to see the big version): http://www.foobar2000.org/

I just got myself an Android phone as a sort of test to switching to the platform and there are a few things I'm still figuring out how I'm going to handle. The big one is syncing my music. From iTunes. It's where all my music is and even if I switch fully to my Android phone I still have an iPad and another iPhone it's going to sync with. It sounds like DoubleTwist is the go-to app everyone suggests if you want to selectively sync different playlists and the like, yeah? Are there any others I haven't come across? One thing I haven't found is whether or not syncing via DoubleTwist would then require me to use their app if I wanted to listen to my music and use my playlists. I was hoping to explore around and try some different music players and would hate to be locked in from the start. The other thing I wasn't sure about is whether not DoubleTwist (or any other app) did downsampling of tracks before syncing? Almost all my music is lossless and a sizable chunk of it is 24/96. It'll fill up my phone pretty quickly if I just put it all on as-is. So any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks! For further info, syncing would be done between a Windows 8.1 PC and a OnePlus One.

Apple has changed the iTunes refund policy making it so that Europeans can return almost any digital item bought from the store within two weeks of purchase. However, as you would expect, there are some caveats in place to avoid abuse of the system. If you open an app, or a book, or watch a movie purchased in iTunes, then Apple has the right to refuse a refund. Apple does promise that accepted refunds will be made within 14 days and the money will be returned to the account used to pay. Itunes logo iTunes now offers refunds in Europe This is fairly similar to how returns work at a regular store, where you can be refused a refund if there are significant signs of use, or if the plastic wrap has been torn off the product. This new refund policy brings Apple’s store in line with the European Consumer Rights laws. Few companies are willing to offer refunds on digital items, most notably Valve with purchases made through the Steam store. However, digital refunds are becoming increasingly adopted by e-stores. My thoughts, as i have never used Apple services, but so what's to stop you making a copy then getting a refund? also If it's part of the European Consumer Rights laws then how do Valve get away with not implementing a refund system? Seems frivolous to have laws like this in place if companies don't have to abide by them. Refunds are the one thing that Origin have got up on Steam in terms of customer service. So I seemed to have messed this one up big time. Months ago, I had lost a handful of photos from restoring an iPhone backup, so I decided to sync the photos back onto my phone. I did this by creating a folder of the photos on my desktop and then syncing them. I then deleted the folder, along with the pictures, from my computer since they were now on my phone. I didn't realize though that when you sync photos, it creates an indestructible album in your iPhone photos library. Sooo I've dealt with that ugly lone album for a while now but I really want to just remove it. I'm willing to delete the pictures along with it but I just can't tolerate that dumb album. I've looked up ways to remove synced photos and it just says to go into iTunes...etc and then select the album you synced, and then sync your phone. Well since I deleted the folder and the photos I synced, I now have no way to remove the folder, since it doesn't even exist anymore. Anyone who is good at using iTunes, please help me out. This program has been giving me all sorts of crap since day one. This is just one of my many problems with it. May as well tackle it now though..

Hello everyone Last week my old HI-FI system (CD player, FM radio,...) broke. Now I was planning upgrading it to a whole new level I was thinking to buy an iPod Nano and an amplifier with an aux cable. So I could just listen to my iTunes Library and FM radio. But I found out that you need to plug these earpods in, when listening to FM radio... I was planning to use the jack as an aux cable. Should I use a splitter? Or any other good ideas? Maybe some tips for an amplifier (around 170W)? Thanks you! Dennis

Today PayPal put two 20% off deals up on their eBay store page for iTunes Gift Cards. Either get a $100 Gift Card for $80 or a $50 card for $40. Maybe "card" isn't the right word to use, because these are actually "codes" they email out after purchase. Pure a digital delivery. iTunes $100 Code (Email Delivery) — $80 (list $100) iTunes $50 Code (Email Delivery) — $40 (list $50) There are 20,000 of the $50 cards available at this price, and 12,000 of the $100 cards at this price available.

Looking for something like iTunes with the darker theme of Spotify for playing my personal files, not streaming over a network. Needs to recognize most types of audio, mp3/4, flac, wav, etc. Not VLC media player. Recommendations please. Preferably free but will consider up to about $30.

Hello everyone, I have set-up a Synology 8-bay NAS to centralize everything (including videos) However, my Itunes videos (mostly in m4v) does not work ether nas to pc or nas to ipad. I assumed that it was due to the M4V extension.... however my m4v videos that are NOT from itunes and also on the NAS seems to work... im stumped on the situation... and will be troubleshooting more ideas today... EDIT: May Container or Video Codec? (per itunes video)

Finally it sings.. Oh boy get ready for Linus tweets with milkshake tag Twitter Audio Card it lets you discover and listen to audio directly in your timeline on both iOS and Android devices. Throughout your listening experience, you can dock the Audio Card and keep listening as you continue to browse inside the Twitter app. We’re launching this new audio card in partnership with third-party streaming services. bam! Instead of sending users out to a website or separate app, songs and podcasts will now play right there below the tweet in a virtual "card," just like videos and pictures. SoundCloud links were initially limited to 50 or so partner accounts listed in Twitter's blog post, they also now appear to work for everyone using them Also Check this out... You can follow @TwitterMusic for real-time updates about accounts using our new Audio Card. iTunes links will soon have quick purchase options from within the app, but for the moment it seems that only one track with foo fighters.. & NASA isn't sitting back on this feature either.. Pretty neat deal imo So what do you guys think? Post your Thoughts/Comments & Rants Down Belooooooooowww...
