I am having a weird issue while playing valorant. I use a DELL G15 5515 Ryzen 5600H RTX3050 8GB RAM. I used to play the game at constant 120FPS but now i don't know what is happening but whenever i play this game it suddenly drops from 120fps to 45-50fps and if i turn off the charger and turn it back on it suddenly jumps back to 120fps. I ran the dell support assist. no issue. all the drivers are updated. I placed a support ticket on riot games' site but I am not sure if there is an issue with the game or my laptop. pls help. i am also sharing some log files from riot repair tool. Hello Everyone, My mic stops working randomly whenever I'm playing Escape From Tarkov with friends. We use Discord to communicate and everything goes well until randomly my mic will just stop working completely. I tried connecting back to the call and re-launching Discord but that doesn't help. The only way I get my mic working again is by unplugging it from USB port and plugging it back in. I thought that maybe the headset is the issue so I went ahead and borrowed my friend's one. I encountered the same issue today and have no idea what is causing this. The headsets I've tried are Logitech G Pro X (wired) and Corsair Virtuoso XT (wireless). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank You! P.S: The issue seems to be on my PC. I haven't encountered this issue on my laptop as of yet.

I am new here so I apologize if this is not in the correct place. 9to5mac posted an article last week on an issue I’ve been experiencing since updating to iOS 16. I am following up with my local Apple Store. If that does not yield results I intend to open a case with my connections at Apple Enterprise support for a statement. I have an account through my work in IT. I’m not completely clear yet on if this is a choice by the Apple team or the streaming service providers. source article: https://9to5mac.com/2023/01/04/ios-16-break-drm-content-hdmi/amp/ The Core Issue: For communities like mine the wait time for Starlink is almost a year, and local satellite providers charge hundreds of dollars for internet service speeds most consumers would consider unacceptable for a phone plan 10 years ago. This puts families in a rough spot where they need to consider re-subscribing to traditional satellite television or simply unsubscribing from all major streaming services. Running DSL to our property is out of the budget(forget about fiber). This is before we even consider the number of people living in temporary accommodations like RVs or campers. I have not seen any acknowledgment from apple regarding the issue since the forums first began reporting on it in October. Furthermore, they continue to sell the dongle on the Apple Store without any notice to consumers that the product allegedly no longer supports major streaming services. I have seen several instances where forum users report buying multiple dongles($50/each) under the assumption that they a have a defective unit. I have seen no statements from major streaming service providers regarding changes to their DRM features Background: My family lives in a rural area and cut the cord 2 years ago. If you are wondering how rural, I spent $400 on a yagi antenna setup just to get decent cell service inside the house. Everyone has been using Apple’s official AV Adapter to play video over HDMI from iPhone to the TV. We recently updated to iOS 16 and noticed that we could no longer play Prime Video and some Netflix content. The phone screen mirrors just fine, we can browse the catalog without issue, but when launching DRM protected media it goes to a black screen on the TV. Hulu was especially strange because instead of a black screen we get an exaggerated hitching effect where the video/sound plays for a few frames, hangs, plays a few frames, hangs, etc. content cannot be consumed. I have tested on multiple phones and dongles, and can confirm the issue is only present on devices running iOS 16 or later. The Devil’s Advocate: Needs change with time and I understand that external HDMI devices are a major source of copyright violation and piracy. Businesses are well in their rights to sunset compatibility and features at their leisure. However, it is a mark of poor customer service and customer negligence to sunset a major feature of an officially supported product without informing the consumers of the change, even after the fact. This may be the result of poor communication between vendors, poor product management, or a sign that apple does not care about peripherals in the time between the factories and the landfills. The solution: I’ll continue working on my end for a statement from Apple support on the adapter issues. This issue could be quickly resolved by Apple and the service vendors with a public statement regarding the DRM changes and a very visible note on the AV adapter website/box stating that it will not work for most major streaming services.

Ive checked Event Viewer for troubleshooting but all i get is "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered" and Event ID 4101. I cant find a solution to this online, ive tried reinstalling my drivers, cleaning my pc out, fresh install of windows but nothing seems to work. please help. Hello as a non native Speaker its hard for to explain, BUT. here is the story i have a Quadro K600 GPU, i use the Display-Port to connect it to my HP monitor (D-P 1.1 and 1.2 are Supported). now every thing works fine, OK the next step is installing the driver, since GPU is useless without a driver. Downloaded the Latest Release, Installing. until here the Display-Port Works Properly. now after installing NVIDIA Driver, it asks me for a reboot. OK i reboot. HP logo pops-up, Starting Windows (Windows 7) Shows up when its over (Starting Screen). my Monitor says (Display is going to sleep). from there the PC keeps booting (i can hear it). and the display stays as it is (Display is going to sleep / No Signal) i cant use VGA or HDMI ports, since this GPU comes only with DP and that useless DVI. (i don't have a DVI cable and never seen one before) my question is. is my GPU damaged ? or could it be the Display-Port cable ? since it says it is made in China. what could be the problem ? thanks you

Hi, I have a problem with my i7 9700k (full specs below). I can set it to overclock to 5Ghz on all cores and it's running, but once there is an actual load on it, all clocks fall down to 4,2Ghz flat. I've looked at HWinfo and it's reaching 70C max on some of the cores (not all), which I don't believe should be a cause for thermal throtteling yet, right? Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe I've not enabled some limiter or something? Please help if you can community. ^^ CPU: i7 9700k MB: Gigabyte Z370P 3D RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz G.Skill GPU: RTX 3070 Gigabyte PS: SPC Supremo FM2 750W (80+ gold)

Started my first build and as you can see I really tried to max out the specs: -Nvidia RTX 3090 TI Founders Edition GPU -AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor -Corsair RMx Series (2021), RM850x, 1000 Watt, GOLD, Fully Modular Power Supply -Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 AMD Optimized Memory -SAMSUNG 870 EVO 4TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-77E4T0B/AM) -ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero AMD Motherboard The PC seems to boot up fine. I get LED function from the ram and motherboard, as well as fan function from the GPU and CPU fans. The motherboard displays "00" which appparently doesn't indicate an error specifically to the model of the motherboard. No matter what I've tried, I cant get a picture on my monitor. So far these are the troubleshooting steps I have taken: - Unplugging and reinstalling every cable accross the build as well as taking apart and rebuilding the entire PC - Trying different PCIE cables - Restarting Cmos - Updating Bios with the current motherboard software - Checking stand screws - Using a different monitor, different HDMI and Display cables - Upgrading to a 1000w power supply - Trying a different GPU - Returning/Purchasing a whole new motherboard and rebuilding the pc again with that motherboard If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreicated, otherwise I will most likely return everything. Thanks for your time.

Internet connection is stuttering and often disappears for several seconds. Both with ethernet and wifi. Factory reset the router and the problem persists. ISP says everything seems fine on their end and connected my PC directly to the source instead of through the router to check. Problem persists. I don't think anything is wrong with my pc because all connected devices experience the stutters. Any ideas? Kinda giving up hope here.

Hello there, A few days ago I bought myself a new GPU (PowerColor Rx 7900xt red devil). But I have an annoying problem. I reguarly use my PC to watch things on my TV but with the new GPU the Picture is squeezed together on the top half of my tv. My main and second monitor are not affected by this. I already tried using another port on my GPU and TV. And I also replaced that DP to HDMI converter cable to a new HDMI cable. Changing the screen Resolution had no impact on the problem. The only way I have found to utilize the whole screen is by activating AMD Eyefinity. I hope somebody can help Thanks -Adrian

I took out my ram but it back in. Tested out my power supply, basically tried to troubleshoot the issue. I unplugged my ssd. unplugged the front panel connectors and nothing seems to work. The monitor and mouse light works also. I even have the pc plugged in to the wall.

Hi there. I'm hoping someone can help. I have gone through about 4 GoXLR's because whenever I use them, I get extreme audio stuttering and cutting out whenever the system is under load, or whenever I am scrolling on chrome for some reason. The stuttering isn't a static sound or anything like that, it is simply just the audio disappearing and coming back like half a second later. When the PC is under a lot of load like when loading up WZ2, the audio basically falls silent with the occasional sound jumping in. I am also getting weird USB issues like missed keystrokes on my keyboard, mouse inputs not responding etc. I have tried an abundance of USB2.0 - USB3.2Gen 1 ports on the motherboard but it doesn't seem to have an effect. I have also done the standard troubleshoot method of switching PCIE to Gen 3 but that has failed to help. I hope that someone else who had this issue with the GoXLR can help! Thank you very much guys I have listed my specs at the bottom. Specs: Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B550-Plus Wifi ii CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G GPU: MSI RTX 3060Ti Gaming X 8G LHR Memory: Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz 4 x 8GB

I've been getting crashes for quite some time. Always this same error message. I use the RX570 8GB card. What I have tried: Replaced the gpu with an 8gb version of it, replaced cpu ram and psu, installed a fresh windows, tried "Above 4g Decoding" setting in bios, tried a lot of different driver versions (using ddu), tried installing drivers with "Minimal Install" option, tried disabling fast startup.. Happens the most in games, sometimes even on desktop using chrome (scrolling twitter, yt..)

So, has anyone ever taken a set of screwdrivers (sub-7 inches for TSA compliance) and spare batteries for their laptop (built-in sub 100 Wh, but replaceable, like a framework level of difficulty here) and actually bothered replacing a battery on the plane due to the built in one running out of juice? Forget any rational questions you may have about why just curious as to answers to this silly (potentially dangerous if you puncture the battery) idea. EDIT: I'm incredible disappointed with the responses I got. I'm not going to go through my technical or personal background, but yes, I have considered literally every danger point, safety concern, etc. written below and a number not. I'm not surprised by any of it. I also didn't ask to the feasibility, practicality, desirability, etc. of the matter. The question asked IF anyone HAS done it. I remember actually having a genuine moment where I considered posting this question asking if this incredibly stupid ideas has been done before because I feared that the comments would be filled with lots and lots of people posting about "why would you even?" or "have you considered obvious bad thing about obvious bad idea?" or "this would obviously be bad idea due to point mentioned in the question itself". In other words, negative reactions to an idea admitted in the second line to be terrible simply asking if terrible idea has ever had a practitioner willing to talk about it come out and share what they've learned with the class "Yes, fire indeed hot and hot in this particular way with this particular pain feeling" and no one actually answering the darn question. Indeed, that is what happened. There has got to be some concise way to signal that "idea is bad and I know that, now can anyone answer silly idea with silly response". Side note: most technically competent people are not so good outside their chosen domain. You'd be very surprised, but doctors, especially research doctors, are stupid bad at dealing with tech beyond a certain level. They'll have cache sync issues with their own code (regardless of if they write it or not), printer issues, etc. The only people I've ever met that were still doing the two finger keyboard typing game were in a research lab. So, they're just as likely to get freaked as anyone else

Hey Guys... Recently i upgraded from a ryzen 7 2700x and rx 580 with 16gb of ddr4 ram to a ryzen 7 5800X3D and a Rtx 3080 with 32gb of ddr4 ram and since then i get like 10-60 fps in the Main menu and ingame it's the same with 20ish fps and sometimes up to 40 if i'm lucky. So far i changed the thread working count for MW2 multiple times from Ranges 2-14 reinstalled it on a different Drive and installed all Driver updates i had pending. i really don't know what could be wrong because in other games im running into no issues like valorant i got 600fps and cs:go also no problem rainbow six siege escape from tarkov etc... I hope someone can help... Greets David

I recently purchased an AOpen curved 24" monitor. When using DisplayPort, it is limited to 1600x900@60. It has a native resolution of 1920x1080 and up to 144hz refresh rate. It has AMD Freesync Premium. HDMI works fine. I'm using the included DisplayPort cable. Any idea why this could be happening and how to fix it?

So my pubg stutters a lot and very unstable fps, and if i am in chrome for example my game crashes like 50% of time. specs: r5 1600 ddr4 2x4gb 2666 rx 6650xt 500gb ssd i think it could be my ram, but i feel like the suttering got worse when i got new gpu 2 days ago. and i havent removed nvidia drivers. fps average was 90

And same thing on bf1.

Hey! So I've been recently having issues with my GPU freezing for unknown reasons. Still don't know exactly what is causing this. Some days my PC works fine without issues and sometimes the PC blacks out one of my monitors and freezes the other. I'm pretty sure it's the GPU as so far I haven't seen any issues with my monitors and none of the GPU refresh techniques seemed to work. It also happens randomly and when I check the temp of the GPU it's usually only at 52 C and nothing higher then that.. so I'm a bit confused. PC specs: - RX 6600 - i3 12100F - DDR5 5600mhz RAM - PRO Z690-A MSI motherboard - Corsair 650W Gold PSU

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to post this here to help you guys fix your issue. I was very determined to fix this DPC latency spikes on my nvidia drivers and I can safely say that it is possible to do so. Now with that being said I wanted to explain it in a way that didn't sound quite like the same thing everyone else has been saying. Note: I did not use any driver trimming software. This is the latest driver with all bloatware installed. With that said the main issue is this: The Nvidia driver is just extremely sensitive to latency at any point in the chain*.* So the way that you tweak this to reduce DPC latency spikes is reduce the latency spikes of everything else underneath that is reporting. So what I did is disabled the nvidia driver in display adapters in device manager and then ran latency mon to detect all the other smaller processes underneath that were having issues. Using Microsofts Interrupt affinity policy configuration tool. The main thing i found worked best is separate literally everything off of 1 single core and let only the drivers get that 1 single core. Then program the SSD/Interrupt controller/usb hub/ display drivers/BIOS drivers. ANYTHING that shows up in device manager find a way to spread the workload across all of the cores left and try to make it as even as possible. Once you have done that rerun latency mon and see if your latency spikes are now higher on 1 specific core. If they are try to move around the devices and drivers until you find a combination that works. Once you have that done, THEN REENABLE the drivers and try again. Basically find out how the driver interacts with each core and it's drivers in the system until you find ones that don't like to be together or which ones like to be far apart. So for me putting my WIFI/SSD/INTERRUPT CONTROLLER/USB ever on any same core would cause the NVLDDMKM to have spikes in the hundreds of microseconds. But once I started slowly chipping away at the beast I eventually found a combo that worked and this was the results. DPC latency under 100 and as I am going further along my journey I'm starting to see only 20-40 microseconds rather than 70-80 or 100 I ran a 5 minute latency mon test and then a second 30 minute test with latency mon and posted screenshots on the ntlite . com website forums where this issue was also discussed for many weeks if not years at this point. So if you need any validation or example screenshots of what I am talking about feel free to look at the post or message me. Hopefully this guide helped you guys understand more about the issue itself and how to fix it. Feel free to reach out whenever.

Hello all, I have been having this issue when I've gone and updated my GPUs driver. I am currently running a 3070ti on the 517.48 firmware with no issues. Whenever I update my driver the 3D constantly spiked between any% and 100% even when nothing is going on. I can't seem to find anything regarding this issue on the interwebs! This issue has been present in every driver NVIDIA has released since the version I am currently on.
