Last summer I bought a (Corsair) Commander Pro and had issues with iCue not seeing any of the fans connected to it from the getgo, so I got an RMA but never used it because I was busy with school (by the time I got the RMA it had been a few months). But it randomly started working properly when I had to reinstall Razer Synapse because Synapse wouldn't see my mouse. But it gets weirder, once the Commander Pro started working properly the RAM usage of a system process called Corsair.service slowly started creeping up and a day or two ago hit 1.5 GB. I emailed Corsair and they told me to run the repair process on iCue so I did today and guess what Synapse is being weird again (I'm in the process of reinstalling Synapse). Any ideas? One more thing, when I was about to start the repair process on iCue I went to quit it and noticed that it wasn't even running in the system tray.

At first Corsair Icue worked fine but I can only launch it from the taskbar, I wanted an icon on the desktop so I went into the program file and dragged the icon onto the desktop. When I restarted my computer, it would all of a sudden say icue.dll is missing when I try to launch the software. So I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it but now there is no program file in my C Drive and it still says icue.dll is missing. What should I do?

Recently i found that ICue Mac version is back again therefore I want to start a new thread asking @Corsair Nick about the state of linux support for Icue If we can just get the protocol of how corsair devices communicate to each other im sure the linux community can take it from there

Hello, Here is my problem: I have been working for 3 days trying to get this lighting controller to work under Ubuntu. My first try was OpenRGB as i have had good success on other machines with this. So before I did anything all of my Corsair LED's were doing the default rainbow. I opened up OpenRGB and it recognized both my Asus X470 and the Corsair Lighting Node Pro, but as soon as i tried changing any settings, all of my RGB lights turned off- motherboard and Corsair stuff. I tried resizing the LED's on the corsair, but nothing i did would make any lights come back on. I set the motherboard to green 'breathing" but it was dark. I shut down and disconnected power for a day. When i turned the PC back on, the motherboard was doing the green breathing but all the corsair lights were still dark (i was expecting them to go back to the default rainbow). Now when i open up OpenRGB, it hangs up when trying to detect the corsair lighting node pro. uninstalled and reinstalled the program with the same results. So I made a windows 10 VM under Gnome Boxes, and shared the Corsair lighting node pro. I installed ICUE and verified that the Corsair lighting node is showing up in device manager, but ICUE reports no devices detected. Tried playing with different drivers and also tried both version 3 and 4 of ICUE to no avail. I also installed spice guest tools as well which made the video way better but didn't help with my LED's. Tried OpenCorsairLink: Tried "opencorsairlink --device 0 --led channel=0,mode=0,colors=00FF00" [It reports DEV=0 Corsairlink Device Found: Lighting Node PRO!] then it goes through different unsupported temp and fan monitoring, but at the end of the list is "unsupported LED function" and all my lights are still off. Tried liquidctl: sudo liquidctl initialize all [program reports: PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission Denied '/sys/bus/i2c/devices'] So i logged in as root but got the same error I'm kind of at a loss as to how to get these corsair LED's to function under linux. I thought for sure that the VM route with ICUE would work great... *Sigh* Anyway, If anyone out there has any suggestions that might help, i would appreciate it!

TL;DR, it was Corsair's software making the bluescreens which were supposedly caused by ndu.sys and any other drivers. So I was having an issue with random bluescreens about once or twice a week for quite some time, Any time i ran the WinDbg tool (Windows memory dump analysis tool) it would tell me that a driver caused the issue, usually it would tell me it was Ndu.sys (network driver). Now most tutorials would tell you to run the command “sfc /scannow” and then re-install your drivers, But this never really fixed anything for me. But I had a hunch, and that hunch turned out to be correct. I've been having problems with Corsair iCUE causing memory errors, conflicting with my sound card drivers (an ASUS Xonar DX), and I have to guess that the iCUE software messes with a lot of things it really shouldn't. Previously I had Corsair Link and iCUE installed to control all the Corsair parts in my PC (RM1000 PSU, K95 RGB keyboard, M65 mouse, Commander Mini and H110i watercooler) (the old Corsair Link software is needed as Corsair doesn't even bother to support their own hardware with their iCUE software). So what I've done is uninstall the Corsair iCUE and Corsair Link software, And for the last month there's been no bluescreens. Thats all, nothing else changed, no windows updates, no change in hardware or peripherals, just the Corsair iCUE and Link software uninstalled and the bluescreens are gone. Which raises the question, why/how the hell is iCUE messing with the network drivers, sound drivers, graphics drivers and storage drivers? Since finding out it was Corsair causing all my issues, and their complete lack of wanting to fix the problems with their software, I've lost a lot of trust in that company. Which is a shame as the hardware is quite good, just let down by flakey bloatware. So if anyone has corsair software installed and is getting a driver/ndu.sys related bluescreen, just try uninstalling the Corsair software. it worked for me.

Hi, I just built a PC and have some RGB parts. I have an ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A Gaming mobo and Corsair Vengeance PRO (2x8 GB). The box says it supports aura sync, but it does not work. When I open Armoury Crate, I can only see a mobo and ARGB connector. No ram. When I open iCUE, I can see the RAMs. Both, Crate and iCUE are up to date, I tried different order of installation and a corsair plugin to connect Aura Sync and iCUE. Any thoughts how to solve it? I could possibly find a very little informations online, mostly leading to the same sollution - install icue, install aura sync then install plugin. Thank you for your help.

Hi! Im new in this forum and i need some help. I recently started upgrading my pc. I bought a new cpu along with a new MSI Motherboard, the Msi MPG Z490 Gaming Carbon Wi-Fi. I installed Dragon Center and configured some nice lighting effects. Everything was working normally until a couple days ago I installed some new ram sticks. I installed two Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL. I downloaded iCue to customize the rgb leds in the sticks but it also changed my motherboard lights. Then i managed to keep both lights as I wanted and everything worked fine, but I noticed that when I turn On my pc again, the ram sticks will keep the rgb effects of dragon center, so i disabled dragon center from opening when I boot up the pc, but here's the problem. Now my motherboard rgb lights died, they just don't work anymore. I tried reinstalling both dragon center and icue but nothing worked. I can change the effects in the mystic light window but nothing changes in the motherboard itself. Its just black. The motherboard doesn't even show up anymore in iCue. (The ram sticks lighting effects now work perfectly fine tho) Does anyone knows a way to fix it? The motherboard works perfectly fine, its just the rgb leds, and I honestly really like to take care of the aesthetics of my rig XD. Thanks for any help :D

Hi! I'm new to iCUE so I just have some questions, under Alerts for the Elite Capellix (commander core), it shows an option for an emergency shutdown. As I have iCUE open along with HWMonitor and they are showing different temperatures, so I assume the emergency shutdown is based on the temperature of the cooler? Is that correct? If so what should I set the temperature to be? And for the set all fans to 100% what should I put for that as well? Thanks!

Not sure if software is allowed to do this or if ICUE is just crashing in a bad time. When shutting down into the blue screen, ICUE will come up with an error message which seems a bit shady compared to more "normal" error messages. Just wondering if there is something to worry about, or it's just ICUE being a bit derpy.

I've just gotten my new system up and running and now I want to set up all my RGB, as ya do. The thing is, I have Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM and an MSI motherboard (B550 Gaming Plus)... I installed MSI Center first and got everything configured, but couldn't find any way to interface with the RAM about 2 or 3 hours later, after downloading iCue and going through several tutorials and other videos, I come to find that the one way that seemed to work reliably (enabling full software control and open SDK in iCue) is no longer available, as iCue has updated or something since then and the options are unavailable. Am I just SOL on this, or is it still possible to get everything to work together? I wouldn't mind having both iCue and Mystic Light, but I would prefer to just have a singular software. I don't really know what I'm doing with software, this is my first build, so I've just kinda fumbled my way through to this point Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm based in the US - does anyone know where/how I can easily get a Left Panel Replacement for a Crosair iCue 5000X? The "Where to buy" section of Corsair's website only has Asian based retailers. (I've also contacted Corsair support directly to see if they're able to help.) I had a mishap after completing a build for a friend. Unfortunately I decided to close up the case before I tested to make sure everything was working. After building over 30+ PCs in the last decade I really should have known better but it was a momentary lapse in judgement. Turns out that the power hub module for the fans was not working (also had an experience once with an iCue 220T that 3 headers in the RGB module didn't work on arrival). On opening the case to troubleshoot, the left panel slipped and the edge dropped to the tile surface the case was on and shattered. Luckily for me the the plastic was still on so it's holding it together. A word of warning for inexperienced builders or even people looking at this case as an option: The design Corsair used to lock the side panels in place is dumb. It requires more force to slide open than any other case I've built in. There's also no mechanism or rail to keep the panels up while you slide it out so it will just drop unless you're very careful or bracing it. Ensure you're building on a "soft" surface or at least place something padded under the area of the panels when removing.

My motherboard seems to be hot when I play games. I use Corsair icue and open hardware monitor and both of them seems to show the temperatures a bit different. When I played a game today, the temperatures was over 60 degrees. As I've heard, thats a little too hot. Now, I wonder what does the temperature # mean on the monitors? Are there different temperatures on the board or something? (In my case, the temperature #6 on the black picture was the one which went up the highest). Perhaps is temperature #6 a sensor for the CPU area? Does anyone know, which of all these temperatures should be under 60 degrees, or is it all of them? (motherboard is asrock b650m pro4)

Hey everyone, So I recently finished my first PC build and was looking into some over clocking on my current CPU, (The Ryzen 5 2600x). But when following some guides on how to overclock, it seems that in order to get the 2600x to 4.2 Ghz and keep it at a constant temp I would need to use something other than the stock cooler that came with the CPU (Duh). So I decided on the Corsair H100i but I'm open to suggestions if there is a better one. What I mainly couldn't decide was what type of thermal paste I should use. Thanks for your time! (I also have the PNY XLR8 Geforce GTX 1060 OC 3gb but that was a gift from my cousin and I couldn't find it on Pc part picker) https://pcpartpicker.com/user/etunzicker/saved/HtRn6h

So my fans are acting up and every now and again the LEDs will start flickering between rainbow and the current profile in a glitchy manner, then one of my fans connected to the aio stops spinning and may read as in or off, this also happens when I restart icue and idk what to do as it is affecting my cooling, sometimes the LEDs on my aio freeze too. It is a Corsair hydro 100i platinum se and ll120mm fans

i have the corsair 280x and my front intake fans wont go below 600rpm, they usually are around 650rpm even with using icue software. i tried putting them in zero rpm and custom but nothing works. Any ideas?

Hi all, I've been following LTT and LMG since the old house but this is my first time posting here. So most of my pc components are linked in some way to the corsair ecosystem and since the last update of iCue I noticed that for some reason my mouse is not showing up there. Now I'm not in the worst position here since it's just a mouse but when I digged in deeper in corsair's forums I Found out that corsair simply Listed a bunch of components as unsupported by their own software. Components that can still be bought online without the any notice of being unsupported by their software. Some of them aren't even that old: H80i GT Hydro Series Cooler H100i GTX Hydro Series Cooler H110i GTX Hydro Series Cooler H80i V2 Hydro Series Cooler H100i V2 Hydro Series Cooler H115i Hydro Series Cooler H110i GT Hydro Series Cooler H110i Hydro Series Cooler This is a really shitty way to force their customers to just buy an unecessary product just because they don't want to add software support. Has this issue been addressed in the wan show? what do you guys think about this? cheers

Does the ryzen 7 stock cooler wraith prism work w icue wich is the program i run all my other components on? It is currently plugged in to my rgb header so im pretty sure i have to change to usb first

So for the time I've had a corsair commander I've had... issues, mostly to do with fans acting strangely. My newest issue after connecting a 5th fan on the top, is the new fan will not spin, yet corsair commander reports an RPM of something stupid like 30,000... When I set the RPM to zero, then back to a normal setting, I see the fan twitch for a moment before not moving. The fan works, it is a Noctua NF-F12. Image:

Hello people, first of all excuse if shoud have posted this on the cases and mods section(didn't post there because this is more of a software related question), I would like to know the best software possible to sync all my rgb hardware(I am looking to control everything from a single program). My pc rgb hardware: Asrock Motherboard(Polychrome Sync), Asus Rog Strix GPU(AuraSync), Corsair Memory (iCue) and a xpg m.2 ssd (Used armory crate to control it in the past). As you can see almost everything depends on its own software. Hope you can help me with this. Thanks a lot for reading.

Hi, I used to have iCUE fans, and I am thinking of switching back. But when I used a Node Core my motherboard would not pick it up and it would not be detected in iCUE. I just want to make sure that if I go spend $120 on fans they will work. Any reassurance or work around are much appreciated! Thanks!

Hello, I currently have a Corsair H115i Platinum RGB cooler and the Corsair Vengeance RGB ram sticks that are both being picked up by iCUE. I recently added Corsair SP140 fans to my pc and connected to a Lighting Node Core but this isn't being picked up by iCUE. What am I missing? Any help appreciated!

I have both my keyboard and mouse plugged into 2 usb 3.0 ports, and they almost always dont connect to iCUE. I am currently working with corsair support and they are trying to help me, so they told me to update my USB drivers, and im not sure if i did it correctly because it made no difference. The reason i think thats why my stuff isnt working is because if i unplug them and plug them back in too much trying to get them to connect, they stop responding and i have to enter BIOS and enable/disable legacy usb support. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z390 GAMING PRO WIFI.
