I recently bought a GTX 1080Ti Hall of Fame from KFA2 (I believe they are called Galax in the US and Canada) and I have been trying to overclock it. The card is the the "8 Pack Approved" edition from OverclockersUK (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/kfa2-geforce-gtx-1080ti-hof-8-pack-approved-11264mb-gddr5x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-09g-kf.html) which according to this video should overclock really well. However, I have 'only' managed to get the following settings stable (using MSI Afterburner; testing stability with Fire Strike, Time Spy, Valley, Heaven, and Superposition): 128% Power Limit 90°C +60 Core Clock (resulting in a total of ~2000MHz, often dropping to 1996MHz) +450 Memory Clock (resulting in a total of just under 6000MHz) At +65 core clock, Fire Strike crashes during the demo. At +500 on the memory, I get small flashes of green and purple squares during Fire Strike, as well as some artefacting in Heaven. I know it is impossible to guarantee a specific overclock, and that some people simply are unlucky in the silicon lottery, but I can't help but wonder if there is something wrong with the card I got... Any advice/help/suggestions/ideas/comments would be appreciated. System specs: Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard Intel Core i7 5820K @4000MHz 16GB (2x8) G.Skill DDR4 RAM SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1000W

Hello, I've been thinking of getting this matching GALAX HoF DDR4-3200 RAM to my PC build (I have a Galax HoF GTX 1070 already). I don't know much about RAM in general other than that RAM speed doesn't do much of a difference in gaming / general use. Price is similar to Kingston HyperX Fury 2666MHz which I was looking at earlier. Could some RAM expert say if this is a good option for me. The price seems oddly low (at least to my local prices compared to similar speed RAM). I'm going to pair it with a Z270 board if that matters. Capacity 16GB (8GBx2) Tested Speed : 3200MHz Tested Latency : 14-14-14-34 Tested Voltage : 1.35V Registered/Unbuffered : Unbuffered Error Checking : Non-ECC SPD Speed : 2133MHz SPD Voltage : 1.2V SPD Voltage Latency : 15-15-15-35 Fan lncluded No : No Height : 50mm / 1.97inch Warranty : Limited Lifetime Product Code: HOF4CXLBS3200H14HD162C EAN: 4895147123387 Features : Intel XMP 2.0 (Extreme Memory Profile) Ready Thank you in advance!

Hello! So I was wondering, what is the difference between them? Thanks! Edit: I couldn't find the difference anywhere... (just stating)

hey guys, I've owned the gpu for close to a year now, figured i wanna try to OC it, so i ran unigine vally benchmark (ran it on single monitor ultra 1080p aax8) on stock settings, it hit 83c at 99% load, is it normal ? i felt skeptical after the temps hit so high on stock settings, i live in a tropical country, but my room temps are pretty normal. do i even proceed to OC it ? below are my specs i7-6700k (stock) H100i gtx asus maximus VIII hero gtx 980ti HOF corsair dominator platinum 16GB EVGA SuperNOVA P2 850W H440 (side panels closed) fan config - aio exhaust on top, 1 rear exhaust, 3 front intake (stock fan)

This build, as with most builds, hasevolved. It was initially planned as a LAN Rig, or simply just a second system, but I have now decided to be honest with myself and acknowledge that it was just an excuse to build another system. The Build Started out as: 6600k Corsair H80i GT (the awful initial revision) ASUS Z170M-PLUS G.Skill Trident Z 16Gb (8Gbx2) 320gb shitty notebook hard drive 1Tb WD Green (that I had) ASUS Strix GTX 970 (well this was bought a month or so after the last batch) Corsair CX550M Bitfenix Prodigy M Windowed Anyway, I ended up replacing the awful laptop hdd with a Samsung 850 evo 500gb (this will suffice for now, hoping for m.2 nvme drives to drop in price a bit). Then the Corsair H80i GT packed up, so I replaced it with a Coolermaster Nepton 120XL. I'm actually glad the Corsair Unit died because I hated it. After that, the 1080 launch gave me serious gas, so I preordered a Galax GTX 1080 HOF (which I will collect on Friday the 19th), along with the Phanteks Eclipse P400, and another set of the G.Skill RAM initially mentioned. The parts changed became part of the 3rd rig in my sig. Anyway, pictures are to follow soon. I'm really loving the Phanteks case, jumped on it the moment I saw it. I'm debating spraypainting the heatsinks on the mobo white, but I have mixed feelings about whether I should or should not do this. (I will likely get a 7700k or equivalent and 200 series motherboard at a later stage). The monitor for the build I'm still deciding on. I want g-sync and 2k, but I don't want to pay the earth haha. Anyway, suggestions and comments based on the limited information I have provided would be appreciated. I would like to replace the side panel with tempered glass at some point, just need to figure out how best to do it, as I see there is a lip on the inside of the side panel. I have a cheap Deepcool "RGB" light kit that I installed as well. I will post some pics of the current state of the machine, as well as my last build for comparison this weekend. The current specs are now 6600k Coolermaster Nepton 120XL ASUS Z170M-PLUS G.Skill Trident Z 32Gb 3200 (8Gbx4) Samsung 850 Evo 500Gb 1Tb WD Green (that I had) Galax GTX 1080 HOF Corsair CX5500M Phanteks Eclipse P400

Sup peeps, I own a 980ti hof and am looking into putting it into my watercooling loop. I cannot find a waterblock for it that guarantees compatibility anywhere. I was looking at an EK waterblock as it would match my setup. Cheers

It's Over! I just got a price drop alert from my Amazon Wishlist (using camelcamelcamel) and this is what I saw: ... Is this real? I tried to look up some information about the seller, but didn't find much. Here are some links: Amazon Seller Thoughts? Is this fraud? What is the biggest price drop you've ever seen on a graphics card?

Alright, ready yourselves ladies. End of the month the cash will be at hand ready to be spent on wither one of these cards. What i want to know is which of these will do the better job. For gaming and of course, overclocking. Does Galax have support like EVGA? Or does EVGA have any stand out features like the Galax card? Looking at these two only. Will probably step up to 3440x1440p, (ultra-wide or whatever it is) later down the line as well. Already looked at reviews and benchmarks but want a greater option on these two GPUs.

UPDATE: 11/10/2014 They just released a the first live video of the card today, it's GORGEOUS! Galax, formerly Galaxy just announced their Hall of Fame Edition 900 series cards today and they look absolutely stunning! If anyone is curious as to why they changed their name they have a page here - http://galax.net/US/story.html Press Release: http://galax.net/US/hof_press_launch.html I cannot wait to get my hands on two of the beasts! I recently built an all white themed X99 system not to long ago and I've been patiently waiting for the white HOF series cards to come out. http://i.imgur.com/ECzzf7E.jpg Will be sure to post in Build Logs when I get the cards.

So I live in Sweden and here we got this Website called SWEclockers.com and the site is an "Techiesite" kinda like LTT. And During the last WAN-Show (might been the one before) Slick and Linus said that Galaxy (KFA2) was making the "HOF" and that they didnt know if there was gona be a white PCB and now I can tell you all that IT HAS! and DAMN that's nice color for a PCB! the Site is in Swedish,... but still what to expect from a SWEDISH site hehe =D //enRödjävel http://www.sweclockers.com/nyhet/17574-kfa2-slapper-geforce-gtx-780-hof-edition

Amazon has the Galaxy HOF edition GTX 780 and 770 for pre-order! 780 - $689.99 - http://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-GeForce-Express-Graphics-78XNH5DV8PXV/dp/B00DZIFN4M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374375062&sr=8-1&keywords=galaxy+gtx+780+white Core Clock of 1006 Mhz with Boost of 1046 Mhz right out of the box! 770 - $449.99 - http://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-GeForce-Mini-HDMI-Graphics-77NPH6DT8KXZ/dp/B00DJ3GHUC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_pc_3 Has a core clock of 1,202 Mhz and a boost clock of 1,255 Mhz right out of the box! Granted with the already really high factory overclock there isn't much more overclocking head room but most cards can't even reach these speed with an overclock. Basically if you buy one of these card you are buying a binned gpu chip that is for sure capable of running at these high speeds and maybe higher. The only thing I have to pick with them is the 2 and a half slot thick cooler on the 780 and the weird choice of I/O for the 770. But you can not deny they look pretty sexy with the white PCB, I just hope someone makes a water block for the 780 version.

I'm keen on buying a gtx 780 ti hof and I've looked up the dimensions myself but as I have no prior experience building PCs I can never be sure whether it will fit in a H440. I would be grateful if there any owners of either product who would be able to pitch a word in or anyone who an help clarify this. After months of looking at reviews and weighing up my needs and wants I've arrived at this as a potential build: CPU: 4930k Mobo: x79 deluxe (subject to change) - I don't think I'll ever go for more than 2-way SLI but I would like to easily overclock the CPU GPU: GTX 780ti HOF Case: NZXT H440 Cooler: x60 Kraken RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer (2x8GB) 1600Mhz CL9 PSU: Seasonic X-1050 Gold Storage: Samsung 840 Pro 512GB, Western Digital Red 3TB. Monitor: Asus PB278Q

So I just thought of getting the 780 and I was looking at a few and I thought the HOF was a good deal since it's the same price as other 780s but then I saw the 780 Classified. I was thinking to get the Define R4 with the Classified then get a water block and backplate later IF I water cool. Do you think the classified is worth it ($560) over the HOF ($520) KEEP IN NOTE: The Classified has Samsung/Hynix (They are both good) and the HOF has Elpida (Horrid overclocker)

780Ti HOF Gamer Series OK looking at the new series of graphics cards, it looks terrible. I mean, looking at the heat sink, it looks awful to me. It's just a plain heat sink with only a few heat pipes. I really don't like it. PURPLE FANS and BLUE PCB *BLEEAAGGHHH*

Apparently some companies have too much time/money to spare and they come with products like this one. I see this card, and the first thing that I think is; Why? What exactly are they proving with it? Just because they can? Maybe they're comedians now. Source: Galaxy Designs Supremely Overkill GeForce GTX 750 Ti HOF Graphics Card Images
