So I have had one Radeon HD 7770 1Gb card for about a year and it served me well, I got at least 40 - 70 fps on Battlefield 3 with most of the settings on Medium/High, but a couple days ago I bought another planning to Crossfire and have my game on higher settings with at least the same Frame rate. I bought a bridge connector and the other card and they both arrived on the same day which made me even happier but when it came to linking them up and turning Crossfire on I tried it on Battlefield 3 and got terrible results, It ran slower then one card did and the only way I could get the Frame rate I wanted was by turning it down to Low settings. I thought this is not meant to happen so I'm sending this ticket with some screenshots of the game and Frame rate shown, I would like to get this sorted out A.S.A.P otherwise i have just wasted £100. This £100 would only come rarely too since I don't have loads of money. Any help would be appreciated thanks. All of the screenshots fps is the maximum it will go.

So when I was doing a t-shirt design for LTT I thought I'd give a copy of the WAN show logo in high resolution to anyone who needed it. The file is an illustrator file so it is not a rasterized image. If you want a rasterized version (e.g. JPEG or PNG) then just select the required version in the download drop down tab. WAN Show Logo (No Outlines) -> http://adobe.ly/1q3xeeE WAN Show Logo (With Outlines) -> http://adobe.ly/1p10TBd *(Illustrator files are not rasterized images (JPEG or PNG etc) which means they can be scaled to any size with no quality loss) To download the file just click in the top right -> Download (Then select your required version). WAN Show Logo (No Outlines) WAN Show Logo (With Outlines) Thanks, Blueprint

Hello everyone. Today ive looked at my afterburner stats after a session of bf4 and i was somewhat surprised. First off, everything works normal and i got great performance though this still seems off. Currently i have 8gb of ram installed and when i check afterburner it shows that bf4 only uses 4 to 4.5 gb of ram. However it maxes out my pagefile usage at 8gb. Shouldnt virtual memory only be used like that when there is not enough ram? I am not very familiar with this so it could be nothing though im still curious. I run win 8.1 64 bit. Thanks!

So here's the sitch, I want to use my R9 290 GPU while I'm sleeping to Mine LiteCoins. But it goes all the way up to 94 C. As a result, I'm slightly worried about it damaging my GPU (I mainly use it for Gaming). However, taking a look at this: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/his_radeon_r9_290x_review,11.html it states; "AMD On The Temperatures: I wanted to highlight our new PowerTune mechanism, as some of you have expressed concerns around acoustics and temperature. As noted in our explanation of the new mechanisms included in PowerTune on the 290 Series, we have designed the 290 Series to operate at a steady state of 95C. By running at 95C, we are both maximizing the performance and minimizing the acoustics of the product. We do this by increasing clocks/voltages and/or reducing the fan speed until the GPU runs at the temperature target. By having the GPU target at lower temperature, you sacrifice either performance or acoustics. Some of you have expressed concern over the GPU running at 95C. Be assured, that 95C is a perfectly safe temperature at which the GPU can operate for its entire life. There is no technical reason to reduce the target temperature below 95C. However, like all aspects of PowerTune, this is completely within the control of the end user. If you would rather have you GPU operate at a lower temperature, such as 85C or 73C, we strongly encourage you to customize it to your preference and write about it in your review. This is, after all, the reason that we design products with this level of flexibility." Also, I remember Linus saying something about the same thing. In addition, I my 290 is the MSI Twin Frozr Version with "Military Class parts". I don't know if this makes a different or it's just marketing bullsh*t. Anyways, I would be interested to hear your views on this.

Hey Guys, I overclocked my Intel Core i7 3770K to 4.5 Ghz with my Noctua NH-U14S. All runs stable but i need very high voltage like 1.425V. When I go to 1.4V I get a bluescreen that sais that I have to increase my voltage. I copied all the settings from this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/1291703/ivy-bridge-overclocking-guide-asus-motherboards Do I have a bad CPU? Thank you for all replies. FreshTube

Hi, this is my first time posting here. Check my specs on my profile if you need some hardware info. I am really worried on my rig, because I saw, 74c is the maximum normal temp for A10. I just bought it last January 12, so its pretty new. I installed windows 8 enterprise. I tested it, it run fine. That time, I didn't try to touch the case or use a third party temperature reading tool to get the temps. Then I recently discovered Mining. Though I only got my A10, might as well try it out. They said, it gives super hot temps so be careful. That's the time I thought of touching my case to see if its really getting hot, then I'm like, wtf, its HOT! I tried CoreTemp, but it doesn't display CPU temp, switched to HWMonitor. Sorry, I don't have a screenshot now, pc is at home. And it idles at, 48-56c with only the desktop. CGMiner at 80c (this was the time I noticed it was getting really hot, so I became conscious about it) And when I play League of Legends it gets like ~79c - it did shutdown while I was playing (just blue screen), and then twice, with the windows8 blue screen "problem occured" I played Naruto Full Burst on PC by then its ~85c - with an open case and an electric fan making it cool. >.< Tried Bios Menu, 100% RPM, and temp there is 55c (not normal I guess) I use HSF, no thermal paste applied 1 stock 120mm exhaust fan (from the case) added 2x80mm fans, 1 take in bottom and 1 take in front. This is pretty much I have to say today, let me know if you want me to do some test. Also, I am planning to buy an aftermarker HSF. Deepcool Lucifer at USD35. That, will hopefully, solve my problem, (though I don't know if it will fit). Still, I need some advice (what to do and not to do) from you guys since this is my first ever build.

HI, I recently upgraded my rig to a Asus Maximus VI Hero and a 4770K and after i had installed Windows and Asus AI Suite 3 in noticed that the MB (Northbridge) is becoming around 60 degrees Celsius in idle. So i asked my friends what their temp was and they all said around 25 - 35 degrees. I even exchanged the MB for a new one but i still getting the same results. And when I point a fan on 50% speed the MB goes down to around 47 degrees. I don't think that the MB will break but I want it do be on a normal temperature. So does anyone know what could cause this or if you have the same MB how hot is yours? Here is a video where he has a round 26 degrees - http://youtu.be/L9ARMcyBrKw?t=1m

Hello, I have been living with a problem with my computer for around 9 months now. To put it simply, every game I play looks choppy, jittery and laggy no matter how good my fps is. I have tried your normal things like using V-sync, and it does make it slighly better, but I should not have to use it as it used to be fine, it just started one day. I have tried many ways of fixing the problem so far including, Trying a different monitor, reinstalling Windows, Buying a new Hard drive, Buying a new GPu, buying a new CPU cooler, buying a new HDMI cable, and yet I have still not fixed it It is increadibly annoying, and I can't play any games as it is so choppy and unenjoyable they just aren't fun. I would juts like to add that this is unaffected by what game settings I use, low or high, I get the problem. System specs: i3 3220 CX 600 HD 7970 Asus P8Z77V -LX Kingston Blu The next thing that I am thinking about doing is buying an new CPU, but this is very costly and might do nothing, so I would like to know what you think I should get next. I would really appriciate any replies that I get (Exept people telling me to use V-sync) as I am starting to feel like there is no fix. Thanks for reading!

Hi! I want a good fan controller that fits in a 5.25 quarter inch bay (or whatever it's called, where you have your optical drives), with high capacity and can control 6 fans. one 200mm fan, three 120mm fans as well as two 80mm fans. Anything you guys can recommend? I'm thinking of Zalman ZM MFC1 Plus or similar. Display or touchscreens are not important to me, however display would be nice to have. Thanks for the help!

Hi guys, I managed to pick up a couple of Gigabyte Radeon 7970's for just under £250 and so wanted to build a good rig but I was wondering what CPU I should use. I am guessing I should go with AMD as they make my cards but I have not used AMD chips before and have no idea what to pair my GPU with. Any suggestions appreciated, a compatible Motherboard suggestion would also come in handy. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, I don't think I've seen a post on the forums about this yet, so I thought I would ask a few simple questions: What is the best gamepad, as in absolute best, in your opinion, for the game genres mentioned in the title? Games that aren't exactly made for keyboard + mouse. Or games that you generally prefer to play with a gamepad. And I mean a universal gamepad like console controllers. Not a wheel for racing games, a joystick (like the arcade ones) for fighting games, but a controller basically. Now, the same question, but best price -> quality ratio? I'm asking because I am (inevitably) going to get one and the price limit is $100, and I don't want to just buy a PS3/Xbox controller. Mind you I understand they are probably the best bet, but I am just curious if I am wrong in assuming that, and that there may be some pretty unique/good gamepads out there that I've never heard of before. Not just for gaming proficiency, but also in terms of comfort and ease of use. The Steam controller has me interested, but I don't think a price has been mentioned yet (God forbid it being over $100, that would kill it right then and there). I saw this controller which looks cool, but it doesn't seem much different from a normal console gamepad aside from cool lighting and different textured grips: This has an Xbox version, and is $80. It is for tournament play (FUS1ON by PowerA). Something like this basically, but not equivalent to "gaming" peripherals for computers (peripherals that say "gaming" but that just being a marketing gimmick). Anyway, you get the idea. Thanks, Vitalius Edit: Also, emulators (legally of course). Not as important, but still relevant imo. Edit 2: Also, I would prefer, for myself, that the controller has a Playstation controller layout regarding the thumbsticks. I don't like the Xbox controller's layout for a particular reason (I can't utilize every button at once). I mean, your suggestions don't have to be strictly similar to the console controllers, but like I said, they seem like they'd be the general "go to" gamepad system/scheme.

Bitcoin value has gone through the roof after recent senate hearing regarding virtual currencies, rising from $60 after the bubble burst in April to reach a record high of over a $1000 just last week. Even Ben Bernanke, current chairman of the Federal Reserve remarked that virtual currencies “may hold long term promise” in an open letter to Senator Thomas Carper. Bitcoin is a highly volatile but very popular virtual currency that delivers unmatched security & anonymity. http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-price-skyrockets-senate-hearing-concludes/

Hey guys it's me again. I have a problem with my i7 4790K. When evaluating the performance with windows during the CPU performance test the temp go up to 100 °C and it its the rating. I'm using the stock cooler, I've changed the thermal paste and I've set the vcore voltage to 1.250V. I really don't know what to do. Please help me...

Help I am experience 50 C on my CPU on idle. I'm not sure if this is normal or extremely bad. Case: BitFenix Prodigy CPU: i5 4670K CPU Cooler: H80i push/pull as intake infront of the case Case cooling: 2x 120mm intake fans and 1x 140mm outtake fan I already reinstalled the CPU block twice and reapplied noctua thermal paste The screenshot is taken from Corsair Link

Hi, If I lock my computer and go away for a while, then come back I see my HDD led being near constantly on, but as soon as I start typing/moving my mouse it stops... I don't know which HDD is taking the beating (probably not my SSD but still) or what program causes it (it stops as soon as I touch it)... Some suggestions on pretty standard programs that can cause this please

Hey guys, it's me again. I have a problem. I have an i7 4790K cpu and my problem is this: the cpu temps are too high. When I go into the bios it gives 68-70 °C and when I tried to valuate system performance from control panel it reached 82-84 °C. I thought the problem was the stock cooler and the thermal paste issued with it but I also noticed when I go into the bios that the cpu voltage is 1.423. Is this normal? What should I do to fix the issue?

I really want to know if an MSI GTX 770 2GD5/OC Could handle BF4 at high setting or Ultra with 4xMSAA at about 60 frames.

Hiya Guys, Just looking for tips to diagnose this extraordinary load temps with a 1.368v (stock) 4.5ghz OC. Running OOCT and Prime 95 it quicly rises to above 70 degrees Celsius in 3 mins where I stop it to avoid damage to the CPU (probably would rise even higher). Surely with a H100i with 2 X SP120 high performance ed at max rpm in push should get much lower temps its not exactly "extreme CPU cooling" as advertised .I know the fx 8350 is designed to be used in a igloo as it is stupid hot but I'm I pretty sure a hyper 212 could manage that easily. Apart from the usual noobish tips of resitting the cpu block and reapplying thermal paste is there another tips you could offer or comforting anecdotal evidence that h100i isn't even that good in the first place and is over-hyped. If I can't sort it Ill probably ditch it on eBay and get a custom loop which would guarantee me performance but that is a last measure really I want the h100i to work as it should really. Thanks for the tips and time given. Other Information: Case: NZXT H440 with 6 Fans running at 100% Ambient room temp. around 20 degrees celsius

I decided to test out my CPU at full load and it turns out it's hitting in the low 90's when rendering a video from After Effects (which has a lot of blur added to it which is very intensive). I'm using the stock cooler by the way. What do I do? It was only about 1 or 2 minutes into the render and I closed it as I was too afraid my CPU would throttle. Thanks, Blueprint
