So here's the link to the current build. I was going for a 2500 U.S. dollar price point. The machine will be used heavily, a lot of programming and gaming. I went with the x99 board so I could stick to the newest hardware, since I'm investing so much into it, I'd like it to have as much room for future improvement as possible, without completely throwing out the board or CPU. It will be using a triple 1920x1080 monitor set up, of which only one will be used to play games. Anybody have any suggestions, or notice any gaping flaws with the build? Any help would be appreciated as this would be the first time I'm building a PC from the ground up from scratch.

Hello, I'm willing to buy a new monitor that does have high speed performance for FPS games. Such as Counter-Strike:Global Offensive mainly. I prefer 24' monitor rather than 27'. My maximum budget 675$ USD, also i would like to mention that I'm interested in Asus, BenQ and Eizo. For Eizo some people claim that the Foris FG2421 240hz isn't really 240hz, but it's actually 120hz not 240hz they say, if anyone own or know about Foris FG2421 240hz please confirm that it is 240hz, because I'm really interested in the high speed of this product if it's legit 240hz and i would like buy it.

I have seen this card on ebay and the seller states that this card is not yet released. After looking around this card seems to be available to reviewers. So should I buy it or wait till it is released to the public

I want to build a new gaming PC sometime this fall and would like to get some suggestions for what parts to chose. I am still trying to chose memory and a case as there are not very many reviews comparing DDR4 and for cases I just really cant chose. The cases that I am thinking of are the Enthoo pro, 750D and phantom 530. I also wonder if it is better to buy an overclocked GPU or a non overclocked one for about $100 cheaper price. I will be using an x99 motherboard. I will mostly be playing games such as CS GO, Witcher 3 and Total war: Rome 2 and Attila. The monitor I have is the Acer XB270HU so therefore I will use a GTX card. This is what I have so far http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2yvbYJ. Please don't leave suggestions that are too different from what I have unless I have made some shitty decision. Whole part lists or just individual suggestions are both fine. Any support is appreciated.

So here is the build plan I have put together and will be making. In terms of my usage it will be for daily general use, occasional gaming and I love the Adobe suite so will be using that but mainly photoshop. I will also be doing a lot of coding with my uni course. I know that it may be quite overkill for what I need but I like that. It is my first build and I want it to be great and powerful. A lot of time, effort and pride will go into this. I have even changed some parts down to lesser versions e.g. RAM was 32gb not 16 (will likely add 16gb more at a later point though), SSD was 1 TB, HDD was 3TB, got rid of sound card as well as the wifi card (one comes with mobo). The monitor just serves mainly as a place holder (not that a place holder is needed) which I will likely change because I want a good 4k IPS for my photos and occasional games, will also possibly be an ultra wide as they look stunning. I will also want two or three monitors in the end. I am thinking I will water cool it and I will be custom sleeving all my cables. I already have the case which looks pretty damn good. I will be buying the parts over several months so I am able to have/save the funds. I am not bothered that it is expensive, I would rather save and pay more for exactly what I want. After all this will be my pride and joy. Another justification of the better parts is that throughout its life I will be improving and upgrading it so I want it to be able to take whatever I throw at it. E.g. If at some point I add stuff that send the wattage up, no issue with the PSU. Sometimes you need to work together to get the job done.. Samsung and BlackBerry announced a partnership that couples Samsung's Knox platform with BlackBerry's enterprise know-how to make communication between devices even more secure.. The partnership was announced at an enterprise event in San Francisco on Thursday This partnership could seriously beef up security measures considering that Samsungs KNOX was approoved by the NSA recently to be able to hold classified information read about it here : NSA Approves Samsung's Galaxy Phones for Classified Work (LTT news link) & when combined with black berry's end to end encryption it's definitely a win. Knox already boasts a fair share of toughed encryption for personal & proffesional usage. This seems like a strange move for BlackBerry, as executives were keen to point out: BlackBerry CEO John Chen went so far as to joke that he was torn on whether or not to wish Samsung well in the future. Samsung compared to blackberry has already have a lead in marketing in US compared to blackberry's declining sales.. The end result of the partnership between the two companies will be available in early 2015. It will merge BlackBerry’s BES12 cross-platform EMM solution and Samsung’s KNOX into a single security suite for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Blackberry CEO Tougher than the rest .. So what's the benifit of of this collaboration & what does it mean to you? With BES12 and Samsung KNOX, customers can take advantage of the following benefits: An integrated solution that brings together the secure connectivity and class-leading device, applications and data management capabilities BlackBerry is known for together with the security features embedded in Samsung Galaxy devices. Android security enhancements that reduce threats that bypass application security mechanisms while minimizing damage from flawed applications. Complete separation of business and personal data for uncompromised corporate security and employee privacy. A series of core security enhancements to better protect device integrity from kernel to apps. Enhanced user experience Workspace for a more flexible approach for enterprise deployment. Samsung KNOX and BES12 will offer complete separation of business and personal data. The upcoming security suite will also provide enhancements that address some of the Android-specific security issues The secure implementation will be available for consumers early next year or so.. a superb partnership imo, What do you guys think of this? Post your comments & rants down beloooooooooowww.... @OriginalPromise, Here more good news for you samlord! Hey i am doing my first build and just checking if it's an ok build and if there's anything i should change about it. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/rXT8xr I will be overclocking cpu and gpu. do i need more fans for it to run and good temps. is this the right ram? i want 16gb because alot of games require 8gb and they will definitely require more in the future. is the k70 rgb worth it or is it just a extra 60 dollars for annoying rave lights that you can't admire while you are busy. is that mobo fine for what i need (don't know the difference between different ones apart from max ram and size). should i go 1440p 60hz instead of 1080p 144hz I will be building this in January/February (depending on when i have enough spare time) and will upload complete build when I do.

Hey folks! just wondering if I should purchase an R9 290x with aftermarket cooling or save extra for a 780ti. I've been seriously considering an R9 290x because of the price point and amd's never settle program, however I have been reading up alot on these cards and the consensus seems to be failures. Looking on Newegg, NCIX and Tom's Hardware for product reviews a LOT of people are reporting blackscreen, failures, overheating, rma's, artifacts and bricking. Would it be worth it to purchase one of these or gather some extra money and get a 780ti? Hello, I'm trying to build a computer for my friend. Budget is around $3000. Monitor is 1080p, does support 144hz. For workstation/gaming, looking for long run. (about 3 years) that can handle new titles, 100+ fps at ultra. I want it to be 6 cores, 16GB, does not have Windows so I want it to be Windows 8 that can handle 64 GB because we are gonna upgrade it later on. Does not have Headphone and keyboard so you need to add that in price. Machenical keyboard will be better (red keys) Looking for amazing headphone, comfortable, surround sound and amazing sound quality. He wants a microphone under $100. So this is what I need 1. Keyboard with red switches (RGB would be lovely) 2. Amazing surround sound/quality headphone. 3. Mic under $100 4. Computer. Budget : $3000~3300

After hours and hours of internet research I still can't decide on a suitable PSU for my system. I need something in the 550W range that is suitable for overclocking, so therefore pretty high quality. I've looked at the Corsair RM550, CM V550S, EVGA Supernova and Seasonic S12II but am still unsure. I am willing to spend up to USD$150 but would like to spend much less than that (USD$100 maybe). Any suggestions/recommendations would be very much appreciated.

Hi Everyone, I'm building a new ATX rig for gaming and I'm not sure which graphics card to buy but I've come down to either the 760 or 780. This is the current rig, so that you know what the conditions it would be running in are: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/cjsun9/saved/4hOk . I really really like the green on the side of the GTX 780 and so have even started to consider the 680 just to have this, as ridiculous as it may seem! Obviously, money exists and so I can't quad-way SLI 780s but future expandability is an option and so I'd love some feedback about dual way SLI-ing 760s against just one 780. Thanks a lot, cjsun9 (any changes to the parts guide to optimize it for gaming mainly but also future expandability (when I have some more money to spend!) are also very very welcome)

I have PC350 headphones and i have a few questions to improve my audio quality 1) what is a good sound card to pair with my headphones ( I'm on a budget but can spend a lot if it really helps the sound enough) 2) what is some good software that i can use to make my mic better, there is a bit of static and my friends are always complain about it 3) does anyone else find that Razer surround takes out the bass in my sound even when I'm not in a game

When it comes to making fresh purchases, newer product releases weather if its CPU/GPU/Ram/PSU/peripherals , Once you decided on a purchase and if immediately a refresh product comes out with a perfomance/quality bump for even higher price, sadly, we've all been there. how do you decide on what to buy? if the price difference is acceptable/insane, but is better , but, is asking for 'more' $$$ per perfomance/quality comparitively, the difference might be 5-10% but are you willing to pay more for the increased bleeding edgy perfomance or would you stick with the acceptable quality value? Assuming money is somewhat of an isuue, but the product is a top tier heavy a$$ investment purchase to you. post your comments down below, eg: GPU : Titan < Titan black < Titan Z (999$) (1199$) (2999$) a ninja always assasinates trolls first

Hello guys, today I decided to write a review for my new Razer Naga mouse. Also this is my first review so please be kind and finally write your opinion if you have this mouse. So lets start with the review. How I said I bought Razer naga and I found a lot of great things about it and almost nothing negative. First what I personally love about this mouse is the 3 interchangeable side panels for ergonomic fit and the anti slip rubber coating. What's more it has 12 mmo optimized MULTI-button thumb grid and two buttons under the scroll wheel for on the fly sensitivity. Now inside the mouse there is a 3.5G laser sensor which can go up to 5600dpi. And last but not least it has 5 Zero-acoustic ultraslick mouse feet. All the settings of the mouse you can change them with The Razer Synapse 2.0. I hope that this review will help you decide if you want this amazing mmo mouse and sorry for my bad English.

Hey there, I want to build a new computer this year with the new generation Intel Core i7 4770K and a GTX Titan. I want to watercool it all. Because I want to use the Bit Fenix Prodigy with a 5 1/2 inch drive, i'm just going to be able to fit 2 1x140mm radiators in there. is that enough?

Hello there! sysloc here with my first "publicised" build and log of just that. I am finally getting to build my own gaming rig, after finally being fed up with pre built machines and outdated hardware and junk. Some important information; I am extremely well versed in computers. That being building, fixing, customizing, upgrading, and just all around know-how. I go for what works and generally what works the best. (To what I can find anyway) System will be used for heavy gaming, heavy media creation (Adobe Suite) and whatever else I can throw at it. The reason I am posting this is to get feedback for my choices and to see opinions, don't worry about budget too much. I just want to see what the general thought of my part choices are. I don't know what else I should say, so I'll just list out my parts list and let you have at it! P.S: think of this build more as overkill, I know it is excessive in some areas. This will be my first high end gaming PC build. I'm not really worried about budget. I've got a nice rough outline for what I want to have in the PC. I was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions or blatant problems with my outline here, or if there are compatibility issues etc. I've done a LOT of research, and I've been watching nothing but PC builds and reviews, unboxings, etc on youtube for months now. (Mostly LinusTechTips heheh) My goals for what I'll be doing with the PC is first and foremost: Gaming. I also produce a lot of electronic music (Ableton Live, Reason, and a large handful of VST's), I do a lot of graphic work (Photoshop CS6) and some video editing (Adobe Premiere and others). Nothing professional grade, but I definitely run my current (won't even bother to list specs, it's bad) through it's courses and then some.
