Hi, I'm new to the LTT forums, but I've watched the channel for quite a while. If there was anywhere I could hope to get some help, or at least a good suggestion, I was thinking it might be here. Long story short: I am building a PC case out of wood and I need a 12 or 13 inch 16x PCIE Riser/Extender. It needs to be high quality because the parts I am connecting it to are high-end (expensive) and I don't want to fry them. Long story long: I'm building a PC, or more specifically, a PC case. I have it completely designed and drawn up on Auto CAD, all the ideas are down on paper, I even have almost all of the materials, and I'm ready to start. I just need this one part, and it has not been easy to find... A 16x PCIE Riser Simple enough, right? Except I need it to be about 12 or 13 inches long... So I started by contacting a dealer on amazon, EZDIY, they were really cool and for about a week we had some back and forth going and they were going to look into testing and custom making a riser long enough to accommodate the case I'm building. I could hardly believe it, but it's been a while since I've heard back from them and the product is no longer being displayed on Amazon... As long as I looked around the internet, the riser they built was about as nice of a riser as you could buy (as far as I know), high quality, shielded, great reviews, the whole nine yards. So besides the riser they sold (which was 25cm long or 9.8in) I can't find anything else that doesn't look like trash (which is pretty much every riser cable on Amazon) and is close to the length and build quality I need. What I need: If you know where I can buy a 12 to 13 inch 16x PCIE Riser, cable, please let me know. Or if you know of a company that makes a good cable, please let me know so I could contact them. or If you know where I can buy the parts needed to make such a cable, please let me know. Thanks! I'm hoping people take interest in this, I'd love to do a build log as I go about making the case.

Hi, my name is Ben. This isn't my first PC build as I've build a small web server in the past, but it's been a few years. I've always wanted to build a gaming PC but have never gotten around to doing so as I was stuck in the Mac eco system, gaming on an iMac 27" from 2010 . The iMac served me well but it's past it's best and with a Mobile GPU, it isn't up to handling the latest games (unless I get an external monitor to run at a lower native resolution and lower all the graphical settings). I'm glad to say that I'm taking the leap and moving to PC gaming. I've got a rather large budget of £2,600 GBP (which currently is around $3254.81 USD and $4362.39 CAD) excluding mouse and keyboard. So I've got a good amount of money to play with. What I want from my system and it's goals are: 1) Absolutely kill any game on a 4K monitor (possibly two 4K monitors in the future), at max settings (though I probably won't play at max for higher frames) 2) I'm a student and I may decide to to a PhD so having a machine which is able to handle cpu intensive workloads is a must. 3) future proof my build 4) I want to be able to move my rig between uni and home. It doesn't need to be a portable case specifically, so maybe just a few tips on whether it is safe to move once constructed and how to do so correctly. Below is a link to the parts on PC part picker. I'm just looking for some advice as to whether my money is being untilised to its full potential. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Benb96/saved/#view=hndmGX Thanks for taking the time to help me

Hey guys, im planning ahead for next year late spring/early summer. I want a high end gaming rig that lasts for many years to play on A high to ultra setting (as far as you can "plan" that the graphics won't make a huge leap). I don't know my budget yet, or better: I don't know how much many I will be willing to spend. But it will probably be 3000€-4000€. Anyone got recommendations? Water cooling and a big case is obviously in it (not planned which one though) (I'm searching parallel to this topic for my own)

So the time has finally come. Out with the old and in with the new. I have a good understanding of the parts I want for my build, but also some questions, as I have not built a pc in some time now. For My parts I am going with: - i7 6700k - 16GB Ram - GTX 1080 - Corsairs 760i powersupply Now for some questions. for the case I want it in I am torn between the NZXT H440 or the H450 Was also thinking about a what 1080 to go for ASUS or MSI. Also have anyone any experience with those two cases and a 280 rad cooler. with clearance to the motherboard. Was also thinking about getting a 27" 1440p monitor, and what to look out for there/good or bad. For storage I want a 200-250 ssd with a 1Tb harddrive, with a black and red colour, was thinking a samsung evo 750 ssd, any sugestions would be nice. Any tips or advice on anything about my parts would be nice.

Intro So I am building my first PC and have been doing A LOT of detailed research on the topic since March or May 2017. I also did soooo much research on custom water cooling but decided on not doing watercooling after some time of creating my list because it's WAY more money for not that much performance gain and I don't have SLI or SUPER overclocking to really need it. I don't come from a poor family nor rich so I'm not one of those rich kids who just throws money for no reason (I'm not trying to be offensive or show off, just showing my readiness for how much price change I am open to) so I'm ready to spend a lot of money, but not more than what I'm already spending (maybe a little if it's worth it). I will be building the PC below and buying an Oculus Rift with an extra sensor for Room Scale. All this will be done and paid for by my father if I get straight OR (What I encouraged him because I have some pretty hard classes) try really hard but don't get full A's. Everything About the PC First of all, I want to get sleeved cables but they're expensive and I do not know which specific ones I want. WILL NOT sleeve my own, not for my first build at least The PC will be (hooked to two 144Hz G-Sync monitors) for 144hz G-Sync (Maybeee not G-Sync but still probably) gaming (will elaborate later), Doesn't really matter but incase for SOME reason [browsing chrome, doing homework and writing essays,] Photoshop work, Microsoft Visual Studio for learning to and to code in C# (Still SUPPPPER coding noob but know the principles of computer science and am good in coding logic), Unity 3D for learning to and to make games with C# (again, still suppppper noob), and generally should be fast and will be fast because of specs for everything else. Gaming will be mostly FPS and story but I still am looking forward to the awesome graphic potential of the 1080ti STRIX OC Edition. Not gonna SLI because I hate the problems that come with SLI, the problems are 99% game SLI optimization. Gaming will also be VR with Oculus Rift which I am super pumped about. I also wanna try to stream a little which will be good with more cores. Ask away with questions about the list and probably about something I knew you guys will question. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Yq7pf8 Everything Else that I Want to sell or buy For peripherals I have the Razer Deathadder Elite and Razer Blackwidow X Chroma. I will get the Oculus Rift Roomscale bundle so I can get one more sensor for roomscale VR gameplay and will get the Panasonic eneloop pro battery charger (to keep charging batteries for the touch controllers). I will be selling my current Alienware 17 Gaming laptop that costs about $2,500 with 4 year warranty and will put post for it once my Dad is ready and approves once I achieve the expectred grades (PLSS message me if interested because it's gonna be hard to find buyer) I will buy maybe two monitors but probably one because of current spendings and try to sell one of the two (one will go to my brother) BenQ XL2411z that I currently have (because I can't use the 144hz through the HDMI and due to my graphics card I realllly want to hook the monitors through the DisplayPort ports). I'm also gonna be selling my XXL Roccat Taito 2017 mousepad because the big blue edge around the whole thing ruins the color scheme because EVERYTHING in my setup is mostly Black and Red (Or RGB set to red) and some white here and there. I'm also gonna be giving my brother my Logitech Z200s and buying the Bose Companion 2 Series III. I'm also buying a HyperX Cloud II and then thought, "After this, I will have the best of everything." I didn't want to buy mic because I don't really care and even though the HyperX Cloud II's mic isn't the best, it didn't matter because I was gonna only communicate with my teammates and/or friends. But then I did some research on audio and realized that I do care about audio a lot more. (hence me wanting to buy Blue Yeti Pro one day and possibly DAC & AMP a lot later) A lot later after having all this, because I'm spending too much, I will buy a Blue Yeti Pro with pop filter (placed in front of me, don't want a boom arm because it's a lot more permanent and still really like the attached stand and such. I will try the arm one day but don't really like it.) and even later will buy DAC & AMP because I already have good onboard audio with the expensive motherboard, Asus Maximus X HERO.

Hello, at the moment I am using the computer of my parents, but it is getting too slow and too old to handle most games I play. These are the specs of the system: CPU: AMD Phenom II x2 550 dualcore 3.1 GHz CPU cooler: unknown, air cooler Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P RAM: unknown, 12GB ddr3 Storage: 1 250GB SSD, 2 250GB HDD's, 1 1TB HDD Video card: Sapphire Radeon HD 4770 512MB GDDR5 Case: Cooler Master elite 333 PSU: unknown Would it be worth it to upgrade to this comupter: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/JoostVisser/saved/LhdbjX? If so are there better parts to chose? I have a hard limit of 2000 USD and I'm mostly gonna use it far gaming, and maybe some streaming. Please help me out :3

Alright. So. I'm looking to build a medium high to high end workstation/gaming computer. I do 3d printing and animation, heavy graphic design and other computer art, photo editing, video editing and I also game. My budget is right around $2000 for the PC, monitor(s), and keyboard (I already have speakers, headphones, and a mouse). So far I was thinking... CPU: I7 7700k, i7 6800k, or i7 7800x GPU: GTX 1080 or GTX 1080ti Motherboard: one works with lga 1151, 2011, or 2066 and has RGB and the goods. RAM: 16gb DDR4 4tb hdd 128gb ssd CPU Cooler: Hyper Evo 212 Case: Corsair 570x So... Which i7? Which i7 motherboard? Which GTX 1080? And should I do 3 1080p 144hz monitors or some other configuration? Note: budget isn't important to stick to. Just nothing stupid like a 28 core Xeon.

buying soon Making a trip to the US to buy some goodies.
Beats posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
So, i'm planning to make a trip to either NY or Miami for some goodies as my country (Argentina, where i'm flying from) doesn't import them and it's a pain in the "duck" to pay the overly expensive prices some cheeky sellers have in here. I'm certainly a newbie when it comes to PCs (With few exceptions) and i couldn't make my mind with how many and how much stuff has been changing and progressing, that's when i decided to stop by here and ask for some advice as i'm completely lost. The purpose this machine will have is basically Youtube/Multi Tasking/Gaming (Some Web Development but that doesn't require much juice) and the few things i'm trying to fit inside this components are the following: EDIT: Forgot to mention that i'm going for a ATX Motherboard so clearance on the top is vital for the x62/x52 NZXT Kraken x62 NZXT H440 Red or Green and Black (If possible to keep components within the same color scheme) [Not buying this on the US just for the sake of transporting it being a PITA] NZXT RGB Fans (For the sake of colors) NZXT HUE+ Corsair Vengeance Memories (RGB Ones) I7 6700k GTX 1080 SSD x2 (Looked at the Corsair Force ones but open to suggestions) In terms of Peripherals i'm also looking for a good Wireless Headset (Recommendations are more than appreciated as i've seen a bunch of them and can't make my mind). Also, i'm adding to all the above a few Corsair goodies such as: Corsair Polaris RGB Mouse Pad Corsair Saber RGB Corsair K70 RGB Budget of $2000 USD (Might extend up to $3000 for extra performance but i think $2000 is a good price) Any suggestions, Builds and all of that will be much appreciated as i don't want to just travel to the US for some goodies and come back empty handed just because i've no idea of how some stuff works haha Feel free to ask any questions, i'll be more than glad to answer anything you might need to know. Thanks in advance and have a nice day!- 5 replies

Hey All, Looking for some advice! I'm a long time tech enthusiast and have been building my own systems since the Pentium 2 days :=x I usually upgrade every 3 years or so and aim for a mid range system. Looks like this time around I may have quite a lot more budget than usual but am also a little out of the loop when it comes to recent generations of hardware and VR. I've watched Linus and the crew regularly for years and am very aware that the community here are active and very knowledgeable. I thought this would therefore be a good place to ask for help before I blow my kids inheritance on the wrong hardware choices! My aim is to build in the next 2/3 months (so if anything new is about to be released and really worth waiting for then that would be good to know about too). My use case will be primarily a setup for VR gaming (I have a fairly large space which can be used for the sensors etc). Also, I haven't ever been lucky enough to do much high refresh rate gaming, so as well as the actual PC build, and VR setups, advice on high refresh rate monitors would also be much appreciated! Thanks in advance for all the advice, and let me know if you have any questions etc! :=> TLDR: 1. Budget & Location USA, PC: 2500-3000, VR: 400 - 800, Monitor: No Idea. 2. Aim I want the pc for VR gaming, and high refresh rate normal gaming. 3. Monitors I am looking for something which is 144hz or more, maybe HDR, size isn't that important, not sure about panel types and prices. Need Advice! 4. Peripherals Happy with all my peripherals, though I'd like to get a new mechanical keyboard, using a beat up ancient SteelSeries 7G now. 5. PC Hardware So far I am thinking, Intel Core i9-9900K, RTX 2080, not sure about motherboards, coolers, and the rest, still researching. 6. VR Hardware HTC Vive with the wireless adapter. 7. Why are you upgrading? I want to upgrade as I have always had to go for budget systems and am at a point in my life where I can build a 'Dream Rig' type thing, so want to do it right.

Hey I'm specking out a high end video editing PC for my mothers boyfriend, he is retiring soon and he wants to do high end, professional video editing after retirement. He is planning to use the program Media Composer (or something similar) which I know nothing about other than that it's video editing software. I've built one gaming PC before but I don't have much experience with video editing PC's so I could use some help. He says his limit is about $5 000 CAD ($3,720 USD) including the price of 2-3 monitors. Does anyone have experience specking out a video editing PC at this price range? Furthermore does anyone have experience with Media Composer specifically?

Hi, I'm looking for a laptop for music production. Specs I'm looking for: - CPU - the best possible in a laptop. Both, core count and per thread performance are important. Unfortunately I haven't seen any i7 9xxx series in a laptop yet. It's going to be running 7+ hours a day under medium to high load. - GPU - doesn't matter at all, can be Intel HD Graphics. I've noticed a trend, that some laptops with 2070s and 2080s cost almost the same as others with 1050ti. Better GPU is welcomed but after everything else in the list. - RAM - 16GB min, upgradable to 32GB, and 64GB if possible - SSD - 500GB min, preferably 1TB - HDD - not necessary but 1TB would be welcomed - Design/Look - modest, not gaming Lighter weight is preferable. Matte screen, thin bethels. Numpad. Decent keys. Screen size - not sure here, can be medium to large. High screen resolution not very important, but welcomed. Would love to see options for these price ranges: $2000, $3000, $4000. Thanks Not Apple

Hi, I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop, I travel a fair amount for work and need something I can take with me. I live and work in the US for prices/availability I'm looking to spend up to 3000$ but less is always better, screen size can be 15-17in and would prefer it not to be a 10lb brick, but if that's the best laptop I'll deal with it I'm not particularly worried about battery life as it's mostly going to be plugged in at hotel rooms, I'm more so looking for performance, with a good display. I play a mix of fps/moba/strategy/action games so 144hz would be nice as well, I can upgrade it with more RAM and SSD myself if it saves me anything

I'm looking to build a high end gaming rig capable of playing the most recent games with all highest graphics settings, but I wonder if I am going a bit over the deep end. I don't have a 4k monitor right now, but hope to get one to take advantage of the power in this new system. This is a system I want to last 5+ years with minimal upgrading. I'd like to attempt overclocking, but its my first time doing so, and have some questions on compatibility and what to expect cooling wise. Any help on the questions below would be appreciated. pc partspicker list: Questions I'm not sure about... 1.) is OC really necessary to play the most recent games with ultra or close to it graphics settings? If not, I could easily drop the K CPU and go for the straight it-8700 like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117826&ignorebbr=1 2.) is the mobo I chose overboard as well? I feel I could get similar performance for less money. I am not going to use m.2 right now, but I may in the future so I wanted that capability. What do you all think about the Z390 vs. Z370 chip set? it seems like integrated wifi seems to be the differentiator between them, and thats not a deal breaker for me. 3.) memory - I'm going with the 2666 memory, and if I decide to OC the CPU, does it make sense to go with something like 3200 memory? I'm also confused about what is better to do, OC the CPU directly, or use something like XMP to OC the memory, which i think in turn bumps the CPU clock speed. lots of info out there that gets confusing. 4.) Cooling and RGB - with OC, this is obviously very important, but finding reliable info on controlling all the fans, plus coordinating RGB between fans, mobo, case lights is crazy. Would something like the corsair commander pro https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811978004&Description=corsair commander pro&cm_re=corsair_commander_pro-_-11-978-004-_-Product be needed to coordinate the fans on the AIO with the mobo and other case fans? I'm looking at 9 total case fans, 3 on the AIO, and 6 others. I think the mobo can support max 6 fans. 5.) storage - I'm going with 1 SSD for boot drive, and eventually a virtual SQL Server, and the 2nd SSD for a dedicated game drive. the HDD is just for files/pics, etc. 5.) Graphics card - i'm not settled on the exact manufacturer of the 2080, so if people have first hand opinions on a 2080 they like, i'd be curious to hear why you would choose a Zotak over a evga, or some other manufacturer. Hey everyone, SO I am finally ready to build my first rig, and I want to make sure that I do it right the first time. By doing it "right," I mean I want to make sure I am happy when it is complete and to achieve this I have to obviously by the parts that I will be satisfied with at the end of the build as well as every day that I wake up to use it.

Hi everyone, i'll get straight to the point here when it comes to pc components my knowledge basically extends to: the bigger the number the faster it goes, im really quite a noob when it comes to pc building. That being said, i'm tired of barely hitting 60fps on new releases with my current setup (Asus laptop with an i7-8750h, 16 gigs of ram and a 1050ti for anyone who cares) and i'd really like to take things up a notch. My current budget is somewhere between AUD$3000 and AUD$4500 so im looking to build something pretty powerful. The aim of the system really is just for high end gaming, my laptop is fine for productivity and portability so i'd really just like to be able to put a machine together that will let me enjoy high performance for the next few years. Components CPU I'd like to run either an i7-9700k or an i9-9900k for the CPU, i know the latest top of the range Ryzen outperforms the i9 in some cases but i'm more inclined towards intel. Motherboard From what ive heard the Asus ROG Maximus XI motherboards are the leading product when it comes to mobos however out of all PC components motherboards are the ones i know the least about so advice on this would be greatly appreciated. RAM As for RAM, 32 gigs of DDR4 is preferable and from what i've read G.skill trident z RAM seems to be pretty popular. my knowledge of ram timings is minimal so if someone can enlighten me on what they mean for performance i would be very appreciative. GPU Budget permitting i'd like to get a GTX 2080, however the 2070 is probably more within my price range again, and i know i probably sound like i need my hand held through all of this but opinions on what would be more suitable are appreciated. I'd also like some advice on which manufacturer to go with as there is some pretty significant price variation between MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, etc. Cooling Cooling is another area in which i know very little, my assumption is that standard air cooling for the cpu probably wont be enough when dealing with the parts i've mentioned and as such i'd probably have to get an AIO of some kind opinions on this are again very helpful. Case cooling is also something i'd like advice on, do i just want to keep the air flowing from one end of the case to the other with the biggest fans i can fit or is there some sort of magic solution to keeping my components from becoming fancy looking scrap metal. PSU As for the PSU i'm fairly sure i'll want something >700 watts to run the parts ive mentioned, Size and brand suggestions would be helpful. noise isnt that big of a deal for me realistically. Case The case i pick is something of a non-issue at the moment as i'm much more concerned with nailing down the guts of my build however if you have a case in mind i'd love to hear about it. Periperals At the moment i already have a fairly decent 144hz 1440p 27" curved monitor that i'm pretty happy with and i'll probably look into getting a second one in the 4-500 (AUD) range later down the line I dont currently have a decent keyboard or mouse however i'll probably go for a mouse from the Steelseries Rival series to match my Arctis 5 headset and i'll likely get one of their keyboards as well. If you believe a different brand is superior however please let me know.

Hello, I'm am currently about to purchase a new PC. I plan on going pretty high end with this build and have included a link to the parts that I have currently selected on pcpartpicker. I would love suggestions on anything I can maybe improve. My original budget was about $2800, but I've since gone to about $3100 based on a few things I don't necessarily need, but want. You will notice that I don't have any peripherals or monitor included as I already have those. I also didn't include a ssd or hard drive as I currently have a 512GB Samsung 960 Pro and another standard WD Black series 1TB HDD that I use for random storage that I plan on just swapping into the new machine. I know this machine is overkill for most things, but I have a 1920x1080 240hz Benq Monitor that I would like to maximize as much as possible, and I also just like playing on as maximum of graphic settings as I can while retaining high frames. Yes, I know RGB fans aren't needed, but my current build doesn't have any RGB and I'd like something with a little more flair in this one. The one part I couldn't find on pcpartpicker for some reason was the Corsair commander pro hub that I plan on getting to make controlling the fans easier. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Lgyycq Thanks again for reading this and providing any input.

It seems that there is always a very small selection of matx motherboards that are all less than $100. I thought this might be due to the smaller size but I can find plenty of mini itx mobo's that run on the higher end chipsets like x470 with top notch specs while all matx are b450 (Im talking amd chipsets I haven't looked at intel's side) and are usually pretty lacking in enthusiast features or any sort of rgb implementation. Why is this? I run matx on an almost $3k watercooled system that looks damn good aside from the cheapo motherboard because it's the only option for this size of a system. I just want some matx love lol.

Hello, I've been building this quite high end PC for a few days and have finally finished it. There were some ups and downs but I made it happen. SPECS: CPU; Intel - Xeon E5-2650 V4 2.2 GHz 12-Core Processor CPU Cooler; Deepcool - CAPTAIN 240EX RGB WH 153.04 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard; Asus - X99-DELUXE II ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard RAM; G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory SSD; Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive HDD; Western Digital - Red Pro 4 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive GPU; Gigabyte - GeForce GTX Titan X 12 GB Video Card x2 PSU; Cooler Master - V1000 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply Operating system: Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit Case; Lian-Li - PC-O8WX ATX Mid Tower Case I have installed windows and made it completely up to date. Now the problem I am having is that I cant seem to make it run properly. Something is wrong with my PC and I cant find out what. First off: When installing some programs (not even big ones) my PC just freezes, I have to force quit the program in order for it to function again. Which means I am never able to install it. The freezing happens quite often. Second: My benchmarks are good, but can be much better. As I have said I am still kind of a noob at building PC's. I am pretty sure I have installed everything properly, temperatures are fine and drivers should be up to date. Third: When I try to use Google Chrome, It says that I am not connected to the internet, while using others browsers at the same time these seem to work fine. Tried reinstalling it multiple times, ran it in incognito mode, deleted all extensions, but nothing seems to work. I hope you guys can help me figure out these problems. If you need any more info, I would be so happy to provide this for you. Since I have contacted my local PC repair shop. And they asked 85 euros only for diagnosing the problem and 50 euro/hour for fixing it. Feel free to reply on here or pm me. I will respond ASAP, because I want to fix these problems fast. Thank you in advance for trying to help!

Hi I've been experiencing an issue with my GPU where Im only using around 60% usage on it in high fps games I have a rtx 2080 a i7 8700, 16gb ddr4 ram(single channel) 500W psu, I've made sure I'm on performance usage on power setting in Windows and Nvidia control panel I've re downloaded the drivers via GeForce experience I've checked my thermals and on everything maxed out in bo4 it gets to 85c (GPU) which is high but I've also taken the side panel off and ran it at 70c with the same GPU usage dlso I doubt it's thermal throttling and I don't know what else to do, help would be greatly appreciated if you get around 90 fps on bo4 on high and low changing the settings dosent do anything and I've seen people with worse set ups getting much higher fps and on overwatch I'll dip into the 120 on everything low, help would be greatly appreciated and I'm open to any ideas.

Purpose of the build: I wanted this to be a high end gamin build that had RGB components that would be controlled with one RGB program (in this case AURA sync). I also wanted to have a bit of upgrade-ability for further on down the line. This mainly takes form with the CPU, GPU, and memory. Additionally I wanted to try water cooling and decided that hard tubing was the way to go. My budget maxes out at about $3,200 USD. Some things to note in the build is that for the motherboard, memory and GPU the inserted prices are there because it's out of stock but those are the listed prices (PCPartpicker won't show the prices if it's out of stock). The build will be driving a 2560x1440p 60hz and a 1920x1080p monitor (I plan on getting a 2560x1440p 144hz monitor in the future to replace the 1080p monitor). Are there any recommendations of things I should swap out/replace and am I missing anything for water cooling? I was planning on slowly acquiring the parts and with black Friday and cyber Monday approaching along with sporadic sales in the lead up It looks like that would be the way to go.
