Hello, i had a ryzen 7 2700x with a stock wraith prism cooler that was overheating, so i changed the cooler, it didnt help. I baught a new processor, a ryzen 5 5600x. With the stock cooler it run at 85 celsuis while gaming so i baught a cooler master master liquid 120 to help this, not the temps are a bit down but, is it normal that this processor runs at 60 celsius while using chrome? or it runs at 75 while gaming, at stess test, it caps at 95 and throttles. Whats the problem? My motherborad is a gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.x) Thanks in advance

So I installed a new OS in while only plugging the SSD in and not the HDD, and when I was done installing the new OS, I noticed that my HDD was not detected in windows/disk management/ device manager but is detected at BIOS. Does anyone know a fix for this? I don't know if this has to do with anything but my past OS was windows 10 HOME and my newly installed one is windows 10 PRO. Also I watched a yt tutorial in installing windows from a USB (my pc is DELL so the BIOS might be a bit different), and the guy I watched was switching from legacy to UEFI so that's what I did. So I have an ASUS VivoBook Laptop that came with 8GB of DDR4-3200mhz RAM (4GB Soldered+4GB Expandable) and I am now looking to upgrade it due to 8GB not being enough any more for the tasks I throw at it. The question I had in mind is this can theoretically support more than the 12GB officially recommended on the ASUS' website as the CPU supports upto a maximum of 64GB, and the motherboard too probably supports more than 12GB which I would like to confirm as I remember seeing another topic being raised on the forums similar to mine where the OP used sysfs to extract the SMBIOS information which in turn revealed his board supported a maximum of 32GB in a similar 14inch ASUS laptop. Help will be greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

I'm on a gigabyte b650m ds3h and I've done all the prerequisites to get my pc running well. in the bios if I set my CPU fan to max speed it caps at 325rpm when my system fans get up to regular speeds. I've tried to control it thru gigabytes control center, but it doesn't even give me the fan control option even after updating numerous times. I'm scared to run games bc I think I might fry my CPU. any help?

Hello, Recently I've been looking on windows 11 and my tpm is turning off and on irregularly. I looked on my motherboards website and clearly states "Change default status of AMD PSP fTPM to Enabled for addressing basic Windows 11 requirements (https://support.microsoft.com/windows/1fd5a332-360d-4f46-a1e7-ae6b0c90645c)". Now I'm really not a person who understands bios updates, however I know how to use the bios ... typical. Now I have a 2nd gen processor and one of the updates says "update AMD AGESA ComboV2 1.2.0.3 B for Ryzen 5000 G-Series processors support". It will still support my ryzen 7 2700x after the update right? I also want to install a new bios because mine is 4 years old. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thank you!

I’ve been dealing with this ASUS motherboard for 2 weeks now trying to troubleshoot reason to why the XMP profile crashes Fortnite on DIMM slots 2 and 4. When I switch the DIMM to slots 1 and 3, XMP takes quite a while to Boot and post. I’ve tried contacting ASUS themselves I haven’t heard anything back yet. I bought the recommended RAM and all the parts are compatible. Please help you’re my only hope. specs~ i9-13900k Asus motherboard z790 A Wifi G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM RTX 4070ti 1TB

Hi! So, I want to have my gaming PC running on my office (one of the rooms in my house) while at the same time being able to use it from the living room (plugged to a tv) and my bedroom (on a different monitor). I have all 3 rooms connected with ethernet cable and my idea was tu use a HDMI KVM I found on amazon: https://www.amazon.com.mx/gp/product/B099F2T3MS/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=ALXO6XP10HK6H&th=1 It basically connects a transmiter to my PC using usb and then uses the ethernet cable to connect to a receiver. The receiver has HDMI out put and USB ports for mouse / keyboard. I wanted to know if this is a good idea, or maybe there's a better way to do this using the existing ethernet cable I have setup? The goal is to be able to game on the living room and on my bedroom (just in case there's people on the office).

On Black Friday I bought a few new components for my new PC to complement the other stuff I had been saving for. Bought an Asus TUF Gaming X670e-Plus WIFI, 32 GB of Corsair DDR5-6000, Ryzen 5-7600X,among other things. Out of the gate I had a few issues with the memory as it wouldn't work at 6000 without varying 30-600 second post times. At 4800 it seemed to work normally, but I didn't pay for 4800. I ended up sending the memory to Corsair and they swapped it, although it took a month. Got the memory back, installed it and it's been good until yesterday my design program told me that I only have the minimum amount of RAM (16 GB) and it would recommend 32 GB or more, which is odd because I frequently use it and hadn't seen that message before. I looked in and the AuraSync was working on both modules normally so I fired up CPUID and sure enough it reported that only 1 module was reading. Ok I thought, maybe its loose. Opened the case press the lever back to remove the memory and it falls. The side of the DIMM slot broke and it doesn't securely hold the memory now. Called Asus and the agent said to send to them, if it's fixable it'll cost $200 or they'll charge me $300 for a new one if it's not. My first thought was to grab crazy glue and try to reattach the broken piece even if it worked but I couldn't remove the memory in the future. Then I thought I should ask the forum.

Hello! Lately I have been having problems with my 2nd display monitor to which I believe is not being detected by the GPU. I have then tried ti Flash the Bios to which I have followed a Youtube video online, all procedures seems to be relatively simple but then I had an obstacle. My Gpu is a Sapphire Pulse 4gb RX570, it shows in the gpu-z, and everywhere else, including the physical stickers on the graphics card. When I was going to flash it with the latest available files however, it stated the P/N was not compatible, I tried to download all the 5 models available for the 4gb SAPPHIRE RX 570 Cards and tried each of them but to no avail. I thinked for a second and then searched for the existing P/N and found that my GPU has the file for an RX 470 NITRO OC by Sapphire. I am very confused and need help, but then it was 3 am and I am dumb so my monke brain went with the latest 470 OC driver file and proceeded to flash my GPU with that, it let me flash the GPU however after restarting, I was able to boot into windows before green screening. I hope I am not fucked yet. I am currently using the onboard graphics to ask for help. Thank you very much. I really appreciate the input/help as I have really no means of buying a new/used graphics card. This Graphics card was also just a second-hand buy and I've used it for like 3 months. Pls send your Wisdom and Knowledge. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/190672/sapphire-rx470-4096-161012 this is the P/N that was installed in my GPU and this is the GPU that I have https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/191558/sapphire-rx570-4096-170306

Need more thoughts on this case please! SPEC Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 22000) (22000.co_release.210604-1628) CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5650 @ 2.67GHz (12 CPUs), ~4.1GHz MEM: 24576MB RAM DDR3 ECC GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GIGABYTE AORUS PSU: EVGA 600 W1, 80+ WHITE 600W, 3 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-W1-0600-K1 MB: ASUS P6T WS PRO ISSUE My GPU and CPU in CS2 match work load is about 30%-50% all the time, my fps as you can see is about ~100 with this spec. What im missing in this situation is this CPU with this OC bottlenecks the GPU so hard? Or something else i missing here? ***Sorry for my bad english and mistakes first post in this forum, if you can help please write your thoughts about this situation. I can give more information if needed.

Hi Guys, First post here, not too sure in protocol so I’ll just jump right in with my issue. Hope someone can help. I purchased a 5 year old pc from a friend and wanted a CPU and GPU upgrade. I opted for a 7900xtx and a Ryzen 5 5700x3d. 1. Will the RM750x be sufficient for this build? 2. The GPU requires 3x8 pin cables, I currently have 1 sleeved cable that branches off into 2 6+2 cables from the old GPU in place. Is there anything I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Connor

Hey All! I recently got a RX 590 Fatboy to replace my old 1050ti. However, the card is just a bit too big for my setup and has some serious heating issues. I was thinking about going with the GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 EAGLE, since it draws a lot less power and is a triple fan unit, to add with that cooling. I am really trying to avoid a complete rebuild, so I am just looking for a mid table card that would fit within my current build. Any advice helps!! My current setup is CPU - Ryzen 5 3600x GPU - RX 590 Fatboy Ram - 16GB Vengeance PSU - EVGA 550 B3

CPU: 7950X3D Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair Hero Graphics: asus rog strix 4090 OC RAM: 64GB G. Skill Trident DDR5 6000mhz PSU: EVGA 1600 80 plus platinum Fully Modular Storage: 2 2TB M.2 Samsung 990 PRO, 1 1TB Samsung 990 PRO, 1 250gb Samsung 980 PRO, 1 1TB 980 PRO Samsung AIO: NZXT 360 Elite Hello, Here how’s the build started, I updated the bios on the motherboard with bios flash with a USB after that I started the build and added my RAM (B1 and B2) then added my M.2’s to the motherboard then I put the CPU and connected all the cables to the motherboard. (While inside the case) I connected the GPU and turn on the PSU and got a New CPU was installed black screen message that I hit Y to reset and was in the bios and then I inserted the USB with a fresh copy of Windows, 11 Pro media creation tool to set up windows with I booted up again, the PC and thought of the process to set up windows I then wiped all of them twos and selected my boot drive. I was able to complete the window set up process and boot it into the home screen. I downloaded all the necessary drivers besides my graphics car driver doing this point I forgot to update the graphics card driver, because I was trying to figure out how to install the HyperCard and that to GEN five so I could use my fifth and M.2 but the pc wasn’t detecting it and I went I google to see what I could do and some said to turn pcie16x_2 Bandwidth Bifurcation configuration from Auto mode to PCIE Raid which I did and then left Bios and was fine and booted back to the home screen, but the computer still didn’t detect the M2 expansion card. Which I then try to reset and get back into bios. But I couldn’t and got a error code (d6) which I been stuck on for 4 hours. List of things I have tried Swapped out my old GPU (3070 ti) nothing Tried one stick of ram on B1 and B2 nothing Unplug all cables and re-plug them nothing Try different monitor cables nothing I think code d6 is GPU related, but I am lost for words because I already tried both graphics cards and I know both of them work so the issue something else. I haven’t tried a new CPU but I might have to do that. It just hard for me because I kind of don’t wanna waste thermal paste because I don’t have spare. Please help me

So recently I bought an RODE NT-usb mini, and I plugged it in, and all was working great. A couple days ago though I bought a new cable for it, so I can have better cable management, and after that my mic will barely pick up sound. It sounds normal and clear when I'm just barely touching my mic and talking, but as soon as I get more than 3 or 4 inches away it sounds dead quiet. My headset (Steelseries Arctis 7+) has a microphone, and when using that, everything works fine. I tried going back to the cable that it came with, but the issue persists even with that. I have messed with sound settings, making sure everything is set to max. I've tried various potential solutions that I've found from googling my issue a bunch, but to no avail. A couple days ago though, it started working again, and all was good, but then it went back to not functioning yesterday. Now just today, my headset mic did had the same issue, where it wouldn't pick up noise unless I was right next to it. That didn't last long though, only a couple minutes before it fixed itself. I haven't uninstalled/installed any programs that would be relevant to any of this as far as I'm aware, so I'd really appreciate it if any of y'all have any idea what's up.
