ok so, I have 2 headphones, both wired. the first one is a cerberus headset (asus cerberus)with removable mic, it used to work fine with my laptop, one day it started to stop working (then after 10 min it continued to work but it was temporary) and then no mic signal could be sent to the laptop. The thing is that If I bypassed the mini-jack port and plug an xbox controller to my laptop (using usb) and then plugged the headset to the controller then a signal arrived to the pc and i could talk flawlessly using the headset mic. everyone will think ''ok then, the mini-jack port has the microphone pin broken, it can happen'' but NO. I have a second headset (Argon two dots ), my old and very worn out one, I plugged it in the laptop and.......THE LAPTOP USED THE HEADSET'S MIC AND IT WORKED... so I plugged the cerberus headset back thinking that maybe it now worked but sadly no, no signal at all. I checked for new drivers, but nothing audio related (I updated the bios but nothing changed) Am I doing something wrong? Why does it happen? Why would this happen?

Hello all, it looks like it’s almost time for my headset to go (Astro a50) . I know I can just buy a replacement battery but I’m also taking this chance for an upgrade I like the split channels that it dose for and example discord voice and computer audio are on separate channels I also really like it being wireless don’t think I can come back TL;DR. A50 is dying and I’ll looking for options for similar quality or better with some great sounds

So first of all I always had wired headsets and am now looking for a new wireless one cus chair reasons... I have found on various websites these headsets: The Astro A50 gen4, the Logitech g935 and Logitech Pro X wireless lightspeed. I am undecided between headsets. From what I can tell from reviews online the A50 seems to be better for gaming, but when seeing reviews from like LTT I hear the g935 has better sound quality for the price. If anyone has any opinions or any suggestions for better ones? And before anyone says i have watched the video, was just wondering if any new headsets came out by then...

Hello comunity, the reason i ask this question is: I actually own a pair of sennheiser 6xx and im really happy with its performance. But my house most of the time is quite noisy. So i have to use the 6xx at very high volume so i wont be distracted by ambient noise. ( besides the open back design is leaking a lot of my sound) So i want to buy the astro a50 gen 4 or something similar ( doesnt matter if the ofered alternative is wired) because i need a closed back design so i wont get too distracted by noisy ambient sound. But i dont want to sacrifice too much sound quality of the 6xx. PD: i have big head and big ears. So i need something similar to the astro a50 gen 4 -
Hello Would request your help to fix the microphone issue with my new headset. It is a logitech H111 with single cable/jack for speakers and Microphone. When i plug in to the laptop (TravelMate B113-M) in the port, it seems that it is not recognizing the device. I can hear the sound in the speaker but not able to record/speak. Thanks Enzo

Help! My headset keeps picking up desktop audio Hey, for the past 3 days ive went through 2 headsets (Arctis Prime and Arctis 5) and all of their mics keep echoing my deskot audio. ive tried everything but steelseries website doesnt have a support tab for that. any help please (using 3.5mm cause ive ran out of usb ports since im on laptop, one for stream mic, keyboard, mouse) the headset shows as speaker and realtek audio Microphone I have been trying to deal with it for 6 hours now but no luck. I have the Realtek Audio Console driver not HD Audio Manager ps: what is the check mark and phone on the volume sliders? please help its killing me and my wallet

Hello everyone ! i was wondering if i can find a solution to my problem here hopefully, i searched but didn't find a direct correct answer to my issue. So my Girlfriend have a Razer Kraken X USB Headset and her cat went crazy on the cable as shown in the picture and i was wondering if can replace the cable with USB Type C cable but taking only the type A side of the cable knowing that usb type C cable have a resistor in i don't know much about it can i use the cable with the type A side of it in order to replace the defective cable or i must choose a normal type A cable? Hello, so, yesterdey I this bought headset since, in my country the vast majority of products you can find are from random unknown brands (I'm south america,Uruguay) but can't find much reviews about it. Have any of you had one of this? are they good? or do you know if HP headsets are good? I have seen that the HP H220s is not good it seems, thank you in advance

Hello guys. I'd like to hear recommendations on a new headsets for me. I am no expert. Currently I have a Hyperx Cloud 2. They have like 3 years and still sound good. But I'm looking for an upgrade that I can feel. My use case are: - Moderate gaming - Moderate music listening - Videocalls (so I expected a decent mic, its okay if the sound is equal to my current pair) Things that I am looking for: - Breathable cushions, no leather or leatherette - A bass that I can actually *feel*. (Not looking for the best, but something decent) - Earcups that cover my entire ear. ( I have medium sized ears) - I will be using them only on my desktop, so they can be wired, also I think is best If you guys need any other info I will happily provide it for you. Thanks in advance.

Trying to help someone who's particularly quiet get a good microphone/general audio setup for casual discord/game chatting and the occasional twitch stream. Using google, most of the results were for professional setups, which seems a bit excessive. I believe she's currently using a yeti snowball or similar, which is currently failing to pick her up a lot of the time, though she had issues before then too. I know next to nothing about audio so any advice is appreciated.

My budget is 100-120(max) $ and from my research i have narrowed down these headsets: Razer BlackShark V2 Logitech G PRO X Logitech G433 ( i checked rtings for reviews and somehow the G433 is better than Razer ) I am inclined to buy the Razer ones, but i am absolutely open to your advices.

Hello! My headset (Razer Kraken Kitty) randomly with no pattern to it just disconects and reconects after a few seconds. This just randomly started happening one day, no clue why. The wierd part is it starts happening and it does it for a weak or two then stops for a while. Its like if you were to just suddenly pull it out of the USB port (its still pluged in), windows then gives a "no audio device conected message", razer synaps does not show the headset and when it reconects (on its own) discord gives a "new aodio device conected, would you like to switch" and the wierdest part is the mic on the head seatr is muted(can tell by the red ring around it) I've tried contacting razer support and and they were of no help, tryed repluging it, switching USB ports, reinstaling drivers, updating, I have the headset set as defoult in windows and everything else disabled. When I tryed switching Discord from "defoult" to the headset the red banner appears at the top despit me being able to talk normaly with friends. I'm very sorry for my english and any miss spells. Hey first off, I apologize if this post doesn't belong here. Not sure where to really post this so I saw "Audio-Headset" so I said let me try here. That being said: Atm, I have astro A50's they are so annoying, they disconnect all the time for no reason, I dont use the mic I have a standalone mic for streaming. I'm looking for a good headset that doesn't have a mic with crisp sound, I also listen to music, and stuff and would love for it to sound amazing as well as my games. Headset should be good with spatial audio in games too aka footsteps, distance, etc. Wireless would be preferred too! Finally, if anyone has any idea of what those type of headsets are called that would be nice if you can tell me, so I can look into it more. Are they like producer headsets? I hear that "gaming headsets" are also frauds because they over charge and the drivers do nothing and you can always get better sound from other headsets. - Thank you for your time reading this TLDR: Looking for good headset that I can game with and also listen to music. Wireless preferred! I stream too just want really good sound.

I am trying to understand how to adjust my game chat and voice chat. There is only one volume rocker to turn either the game volume up or down. How do I hear game chat? anyone have the answer. I have set the mic up completely and yet I have no idea if I can hear game chat and voice chat equally or if it will just be all game chat. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone! I play games in the evening and watch TV at the same time. I wear a two ear headset cocked to the side and it is uncomfortable. Does anyone have any recommendations for a Single over the ear headset? It can be blue tooth or wired and it doesn't need a mic. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. Hi since recently my pc started to crash when playing games, and I get this error message in event viewer Critical DriverFrameworks-UserMode 10110 User-mode Driver problems and Critical DriverFrameworks-UserMode 10111 User-mode Driver problems. I am suspecting that it is my headset (g432) since when I have it unplugged I don't crash. What i have tried so far : rolling back drivers updating drivers clean driver install tied with out the g hub software i got a replacement headset (same model) and it did not fix it i went and uninstalled the usb root hubs So i don't really know what to do now. my pc specs cpu: ryzen 3 3200g gpu: asus dual-rx580-o8g ram: Kingston HyperX DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB mb: Asus PRIME A320M-K psu: Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 Full Modular V2 Is this some Logitech thing? or is there a really easy fix? I really hope you can do something with this and if you have something that you think could help please let me know!

Hi there, Can the Roccat Syn Pro cause 2.4ghz wireless interference with it's "Stellar Wireless" just like most normal ghz technology in close proximity with other tech? In other words can it cause interference with Routers and Ethernets? *EDIT* I should also ask that can I use Surround Sound on PS4/5 and Nintendo Switch via adapter after setting it to Surround Sound via the software on PC or will it be Stereo? I heard it is possible to use this Headset on Consoles (Albeit with limited functionality) even if not advertised and I know unfourtunately Xbox doesn't support USB Headsets both wired & wireless so I will just use my SHP 9500 + V-Moda Boompro for that platform. -
Hi Everyone! I am looking for a great quality headset for Gaming, any price is fine... i don't have a budget just kinda looking for something excellent. I play MMO games, stream on twitch, talk with people on discord. I have a condenser microphone already, so no microphone is needed on the headset. I prefer wireless, but if it is a lot cheaper wired then i will go for that, whatever output gives the highest quality. I also have the Focusrite 2i2i usb audio interface. Thank you for your time!

I've been using the Ear Force XO ONE from TurtleBeach for way too many years now (maybe 5?), and it's finally on its last legs. I'm looking for a new pair of headphones and was hoping to get advise from people who might know more about what's good/bad, my budget is rough and not a hard cut-off point. The main things I'll be doing with them is listening to music and practicing my electric guitar, ideally I would like them to have a removable microphone as I may also use them for work and gaming. As I might use them for/at work I don't want them to be too flashy, and plain black/grey would be ideal. However, the main requirements are good audio quality for music, I can live with wired ones if that means I'll get more for my money. One thing I'd like if possible, but isn't necessary is ANC, but with the option to let background noise in. Thanks. -
Hi Everyone! I was thinking about changing my headphones that I use for gaming and for talking on discord that are of poor quality with a bit more decent headphones. I specify that I live in Italy and that I will have to buy the headphones in a few weeks, so please do not post me offers of the prime day hahaha I have seen various reviews both on the internet and on amazon and I was convinced to take the Sharkoon B1 but being that the reviews of amazon cannot be trusted I have doubts .. Also I don't need great quality like the 100-200 euro ones but just a good pair of headsets that don't crumble in my hand after 1 year and that feel decent and that the microphone doesn't suck as much. Hello all, I currently use HyperX Cloud Revolver (original 1st gen ones) for a bit of gaming but mainly for work. This means I wear them 8 hours a day minimum, probably more like 12h per day. I am super happy with HyperX (sounds good, mic ok, can wear them all time with no issues or ear pain or anything) however they are starting to give up slowly (after like 5y of daily use). I was thinking going bluetooth so I can move around more while on calls so first question is: how is bluetooth sound quality compared to hard wire? Second, what would you guys recommend? I can't really test much since I can't get anything decent locally (will have to order from different country). Checking reviews etc I kind of like the new Corsair Virtuoso and it's just about in my price range (200 eur). Any help is appreciated

Greetings people. I'm in need of some headset recommendations as my good ol' g430 years have finally caught up. I can't hear any sounds in the left-side of it unless I put the wire in a certain position. Can't complain though, it has been with me three years and went through some good falls. Amazing sound quality and all. Therefore, I need a new headset. I could technically get the same one ( G433 since the G430 isn't on amazon anymore and I presume they're almost identical, maybe just a slightly updated version ). But I'd like to check the other options as well since there are probably better ones nowadays. The price range I'm looking at would be under 85€ if possible. I don't want to spend more because I've got only two kidneys. 50€ would be the perfect price, but I don't mind if I have to go slightly higher. Worth mentioning that I don't have a DAC / AMP setup, so keep it in mind. The headset I'm looking for has to have a microphone ( a decent one ), as I don't have a standalone one, and the best audio quality possible ( for its price of course ). Apart from playing videogames, I also enjoy listening to music so I'd like something decent for that as well. It should be something like the G430 in terms of quality since I'm happy with it. I was looking around for some options and I've come across a few of 'em: - Logitech G Pro X. - Razer Kraken X. - Corsair HS35. - Fnatic React. - G433 ( this would be the last but also best option, since I know its quality and wouldn't be let down ). Let me know about the ones I've mentioned. Other suggestions are appreciated, but keep in mind that I'm from Italy ( and I use amazon, I don't really want to use anything else ), so some options might be either unavailable or more expensive.
