Hi guys, Firstly, El Dewrito is a launcher for a mod of an alpha version of a free-to-play Halo game in Russia called Halo Online. If you think you can pirate a free-to-play game, then do as you will (mods, lock the topic, do wtv, up to you). El Dewrito aims to basically make it Halo 3 online for PC as it has all the Halo 3 assets (maps, guns, and such) along with some Halo Reach stuff too (such as sprint), and make it available to the US & EU (since Halo Online is currently only available in Russia). I'm not going to post a news thing every time a new update comes out. This is just a one-off to let people know it exists since this update adds some fairly good features (mentioned in the title). Note that Medals & the Announcer were in 0.4.6, but were removed in 0.4.7 to be fixed and will be re-added later. Note also that this is obviously alpha-esque stuff, but the basic Halo stuff works. You can play games against each other. The features may be buggy. 0.5 will have some other stuff: Updated Forge and HTML Menu Sprint Toggle for servers/games (Sprint affects makes like Guardian in a negative way) Stats server (so you can see your KDR, among other things) Other stuff I don't know about yet. So guys, in order to become a part of the PC Gaming Master Race, I must truly show my capabilities. As you can see by the title, I am making a Halo 4 Binary Rifle out of straight up aluminum and am not sure how much to sell it for in the end, and yes, if you have the money, you can buy this sucker. I will be dividing this build log into 3 parts, Part 1 being the Initial Model, Part 2 being the Styrofoam model, and Part 3 will be me casting the Styrofoam model into aluminum. This is going to be a while, and I will try to release about a part each 1-3 days for Part 1 since it will take a while in order to gather to resources for the Styrofoam model. As soon as we have all the necessary Styrofoam, I will release a part every 1 or 2 days depending on if I'm in Mexico or not, as my grandmother down there has cancer and it has gotten to her bones. Part 3 might take a while, as I will have to make sure that I have enough, and if not, I'll scrap some old copper and buy some aluminum from the place my dad works. So everytime i start a game of team slayer or whatever i join a lobby play the match then i have to join another lobby and that happens game after game i don't know if it's on purpose or not but it's stupid and annoying

Just wondering if any forum members actually purchased the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It's probably the biggest reason I'd actually have an xbox one. If you do have it, what do you think of it?

IGN has been posting coverage on the Halo: Master Chief Collection all month long and a part of that coverage has been developer walkthroughs of all six Halo 2 multiplayer maps being remastered for this release. Each map has been visually enhanced and even reworked under the supervision of Max Hoberman, president of Certain Affinity, but more importantly, multiplayer lead designer for Halo 2. There's some good discussion within the walkthroughs about the development of these maps. I don't know about everyone else here, but I have fond memories about Halo 2 multiplayer and I thought I should share this will those who share my excitement, but haven't seen these videos yet. So it's been a good long time since I last played Halo Reach, and something just popped into my mind: "Dafuq happened to June?" I don't mean the month, I mean the character. Carter tells him to accompany Halsey to wherever, and then everyone you know and love dies. Does anyone out there know what happened to this guy? Did he survive the fall of Reach? Is he still with Halsey in the current time line? WHY DON'T THE COVENANT LIKE HIS COOKING?!?!

Hey so Microsoft just unveiled their Windows Phone 8.1 OS recently and the improvements were very significant!! I was like damn amazed by the improvements that they've made to the phone and the OS itself Plus with the added digital assistant Cortana seems amazing. A blend of Google Now and Siri. You think the new look and Cortana would even make you consider a Windows Phone 8 now that its become better? I mean it doesn't lag as much as lower end Androids do cause most of the hardware is optimized to the phone.. What do you think?

So some of you might know, or have ignored this but Bungie's new game Destiny seems to solely release on consoles this makees me sad because i really want this to come to pc. I really hope bungie ports the game over to pc but as of right now Destiny can only be preorderd on consoles T.T

So i got bored and decided to use some footage from youtube and some music to make a bit of a funny video. I saw this scene from the Halo infinity multiplayer campaign and thought. "Hey i could make an LTT conglomerate video" So here it is. And it's still got a watermark from some other youtuber that i can't for the life of me remember the name of... And i apologize for the song that i used. But i wanted something that wouldn't get the video taken down instantly. (And i think i managed to make something a bit funny with it) + I apologize for the washed out quality and slight lag in the video but it's a video that was taken from a game that runs at 30fps. Uploaded at 15fps (for some reason) Frapsed from that, Edited and rendered through windows movie maker And then uploaded and processed on youtube. = Not that stellar quality And i know it's not even close to any of the star citizen lore,Tech,Premise,etc So picture the backstory behind this. Some non LTT conglomerate member cut one of the conglomerate members off in space traffic So he called in the entire LTT fleet to give the guy (And his extended family) one heck of a beating. And although it's probably no use, i grew up on halo, it was the first fps i had ever played, and halo 3 is still my favorite FPS to date. And to see it on PC where i can aim the gun properly, and where the graphics would be awesome, would be the highlight of my year. And even though it probably won't happen, i can still hope.

I want to play the multiplayer with friends.

I was just wondering if anyone plays HeroClix. There isn't really a strong community for this game. I look on HC realms and they don't really help. They just type out teams that would be great, but don't ask what you have.

Just thought I would have a little rant. With a new halo this year which has been entitled (At the moment) "Halo Xbox one" on their website, I see no hope for a PC release however I find this a shame since I wont be buying a Xbox one only for this new release and maybe one squeal before the Xbox platform looses its hold on the market (But that a topic for another day). I grew up with Halo, with the original Xbox, going onto the 360 until I realised that a PC gives a much much better experience than consoles. But what a shame halo is an exclusive. Halo is arguably the best and one of the most versatile game franchises that has ever been. But it was a mistake by Bungie and 343 Industries not to port halo onto PC. I am not talking about a brand new release going on to PC. A bit more like how rockstar has went about GTA 5. Even if they ported Halo 3 to PC now. Imagine what the modding community could do to halo 3 if they were let to edit it and get their teeth into the engine and graphics, like they have Skyrim. Giving the game the full graphical overhaul it deserves and allowing us, the gamers to play the game that Bungie wanted it to be experienced. The story behind all of the halo games is a masterpiece in itself but it is often that the graphical aesthetic of the game lets it down. I experienced this with halo 4 it seemed a let down, not because of the story but in the 5 years between the two games, I saw such a little improvement and I just expected more. (Sorry for using this example again) Skyrim, since its release its graphic has evolved so much that with these improvements it can still stand toe to toe with new releases which are orientated around graphics and story. If the halo franchise was allowed to spread onto the PC, I think it would enrich the experience that we would get from the game. Now i am not saying the graphics as important as the story but what I am saying, is if it were released to PC they would become better, and I did however think that when halo: anniversary was released with the "graphical overhaul" it didn't improve the game, I preferred the vanilla graphics because that is what I can remember from being a child. And many people will feel the same way. But i think it is an insult to us gamers that we should get a new release designed for a set hardware to render at 720p which is then up-scaled (correct me if I am wrong I don't really know much about the 360/Xbox one) to 1080p. When their are games out their that have been designed to push the limits of technology, which aren't even AAA titles. I doubt that the new Halo wont be full of story, and lore, and all the things that we love as gamers. However I do think that the graphics and limitations that the console brings to the table is something that us as gamers should have to deal with in order to play the games that we have grown up with and loved nor should having to buy an inferior technology. This is the genre that requires a lot of graphical input and user immersion, that only a PC can bring (Spyro on PC would be amazing with or without a graphic boost). And the bonus' that the PC gives a game is so important to a first person game. (Sorry again) Skyrim thrives on mods created by the community. Halo's forge gives so much versitlity to the online and this keeps the game going (at least on Halo 3) way after its release. Its this sort of community creativity boost that makes games so enjoyable. Starcraft 2 is a very good example of this its online becomes very monotone after a while of playing, however the creation tool that blizzard gave the community was so open and so programmable that it is what keeps the game alive between the expansions (Debatable). Something that Diablo 3 could do with, if blizzard opened up the random dungeon crawl engine as a tool to create independent community made quest lines i think the game would thrive. Halo Wars is the one game I would have loved to have been an exclusive to PC and designed for the PC as it was simply on the wrong platform. If it had released when it did for PC it would have enriched the RTS genre before the release of Star craft 2 in the next year. I don't think this would port very well now however as Blizzard raised the bar for the Sci-fi RTS genre to a very high height and any sort of port to PC would seem, a waste of money. I know how much people rant about this sort of thing and how annoying exclusives are so please don't slate me about how stupid this post is or anything, and the reason I posted it here instead of on the halo way-point forums or another halo community forum is because I most probably wouldn't have been heard as much as I am here (hats off to Linus) and If I were heard I would have probably been shot down by all of the fan boys of consoles, who know nothing about PC and would have probably received a comment such as "Gaming with a controller is much better than keyboard and mouse" and I would have most probably went into a rant with a prepubescent child, trying to convince him that you can use a controller with a PC.

So as the title says, my friend rather have an XboxOne with just the master chief collection and a Wii U with Smash Bros rather than a PS4 with all its games and upcoming games (not exclusives, all games). I told him that is just an opinion but he claims that it's true for all people. (i know that part was a bit of a troll). My Friend didn't watch E3 2013 or 2014 and he doesn'y watch or read hardly anything about games besides subreddits and he barely knows any current or upcoming exclusives on the PS4. He also doesn't know many games that asre coming to both consoles. What do you guys think? Is my friend right?
