Hey everyone! I succesfully install hachintosh on my machine time ago. I have OS X Mojave. My machine worked fine with on-board graphics. Before some days i bought a GTX 1060 6gb, and now Hackintosh doesn't work at all. When i select Macintosh from Clover bootloader, Apple's logo appearing for a second and then shows up a prohibitive. That's all, nothing after that, stucks. Windows work fine. Is there any opinion for my problem? I read that Apple doesn't support nVidia nowadays. Is there any solution? Thanks!

I built my PC in November of 2019. Parts were (originally): r5 2600, asrock b450 pro4, (2*8)16gb 3200mhz crucial ballistix, gigabyte windforce rx 560 4gb, 256gb nvme ssd, 2tb hdd. It worked just fine and I successfully used it as a hackintosh just out of curiosity. I have since upgraded from that gpu to a powercolor rx 580 8gb. I have not tried to hackboot with the 580 until last night. I wanted to check that catalina would work with the upgrade so i uninstalled by game drive and boot ssd and installed the mac hdd. I did this because i thought it would be more simple than dual booting through bios. after i plugged the hdd in it wouldnt post. fans spinning and lights on, no post. i reset the hardware back to my boot ssd and game drive and it still wouldnt boot. I panicked and borrowed my friend's pc (r3 3200g, msi b450m pro-vdh max, evga gtx 960 2gb, (2*8) 16gb gskill 3600mhz stock but running at 2666mhz for some reason) so i could troubleshoot and make sure i didnt kill my parts. First I put my 2600 in his system. Booted just fine, so the processor wasn't dead. Next I put my 580 in his system with my 2600, boot successful. I then put his 3200g in my motherboard and booted just fine with on board graphics. so my motherboard, cpu, gpu, and ram are still working. I went back to my original config and didnt boot. It seemed to be a bios issue, so I went into the bios with the 3200g and set everything to default settings and tried my 2600 again, unsuccessful. I popped out the CMOS battery and left it out overnight so it would have plenty of time to discharge (I know that probably wasnt necessary but other people online said it could take that long). I put it back in this morning but still didn't boot. Any ideas? The next step I was gonna take was updating the bios. Considering how risky that could be, are there any other options that would work? -

Hi I've been thinking about making a budget build at around 300 euros but I'm not really sure about the compatability of the components, especially mo and cpu. I thought I could ask someone and hope to get a better opinion on what I should do. I'd like it to be a microATX build. Here's the config: cpu: i3-9100f ram: 8gb stick by crucial clocked at 2666 Mhz DDR4 (already checked. They're compatable) mo: msi h310 pro vdh plus gpu: rx570 by XFX psu: Be Quiet! BN227 Netzteil Sfx 400w case: Cooler Master q300l I was just wondering if they're all compatable (obviously case and psu are optional but I put them anyway...) I've done some research and found that MO might get me some trouble for some kinda of BIOS issue or something... I know I could go amd so please let me know, I also know it might a little more difficult than going Intel and I'm aware that Hackintoshes are never gonna be easy like installing windows on a normal machine. If you've got any suggestions, please, do write... I'm new to this so don't go too hard on me... Thanks :! P.S. I wanna install Catalina or Mojave

So, upgraded my mini itx cpu with a more powerful one. went from an i3-6100 to an i5-6500. so i dropped it in, applied fresh thermal paste put everything back together, verified in bios that everything is good to go and turned it on. I try to boot up my Windows 10 and for some reason, no matter what i do (automatic system repair, booting usb key with win10 and even win10) Windows 10 boots up with the logo + Spinning circles and freezes right at that screen. Literally doesn't respond to restart button on case nor anything on the keyboard. Here's the interesting part. Windows 10 is on 1 ssd. I also have a Hackintosh SSD that boots up and WORKS AS IT DID BEFORE. I can also see the Windows 10 ssd too. So i have no idea on how to fix my windows 10. Any help would be appreciated. I am Planing to build a Hackinstosh for Home Studio recording and video editing. However, I stuck in my decision to get a normal intel 9th gen processor like K or the non-k series or go budget-friendly and get intel i5-9600KF or intel i5 9400F. That thing I'm very concerned about is that what if I run into a problem where after installing the Mac OS that won't be displayed because you need to install the drivers for the graphic card first. Can anyone be able to give me some pointer and tips to overcome that issue Components that I'm planing to buy: Processor: Intel i5 9600KF or intel i5 9400F Motherboard: Z390 Graphic Card: AMD RX VEGA 64 or AMD RX 5700 XT (My friend keeps telling me to go for AMD RX 5700 XT) Ram: 32 GB 3200 Mhz Storage: 500 gb SSD the rest of the part i might decide later depending upon the budget remaining -

I would like to know if anyone has successfully created a hackintosh with the Razer Blade Stealth with the GTX 1650. (working means iMessage, etc.) If so, I was wondering if you could create a guide on how to do it. I am looking to try and dual-boot Windows and MacOS on the laptop I am getting, but I am not sure if it will work on this device, so I don't want to buy the laptop until I am sure it will work. Hello guys, I need help with installing Hackintosh. I have created an installation on my MacBook created EFI folder etc. and then plugged it into my Desktop: What happened? It doesn't boot anything (Yes, I have changed the bios to boot from it. And YES I've done the required changes in bios.) I also tried 'Clover,' and the thing was it doesn't detect anything (only windows, any bootable macOS) ;( Please keep away if you are going to text 'WHY DO YOU NEED MACOS?" - I don't play games. I am a programmer, so It's a lot better for me to work on it. Do you have any ideas about how to install it? Thanks.

Hey there! So, I got my old laptop a Vostro 3460 with W10-64bits installed which i'm tryning to make a Hackintosh with and I need to get access to the BIOS to make some changes, but when I try to access it in the boot loading screen hitting F2, it changes to a screen with a white blip and then it boots into Windows as usual. Here are some of the sollutions that I've try'ed: External Keyboard Try'ed to Re-Flash the BIOS (I always get an error "ERROR 216 - failed to read BIOS from ROM! Status = 1604") Changed Boot options (Legacy and UEFI) Disabled fast Startup Format PC I Can't see this as a Hardware problem and I don't have any more Ideas. Note that I can stilll access the F12 Boot Options. Specs: i5 3210M 8GB Ram DDR3 in Dual Channel GT 630M Motherboard Model: 0C0NHY (Produced by Dell)

Hello everyone, so a few months ago I build a pc for professional work such as 4K video editing and 3D modeling, etc. But for some reasons now I need to have both Mac and PC. So I was wondering if there was a way to check if my PC is compatible for a Hackintosh build. Hi! I Have been thinking to build a new system, and i want Mac system. But i have so many questions regarding the "hackintosh" Some of you may have the answer! hope someone could help me ? - How do i even update the drivers for the products, for example the motherboard? - How do you even install the Mac operativsystem? And where do you buy it? - Can you switch between windows 10 and Mac?? depending which driver u install it on and u just swap it out. For example, today i need for example "Sony Vegas which is only avaible for Windows (So i switch SSD to the one i have installed windows on) But tomorrow i will be needing Mac since i need other software that is only supported on a mac. - Are all parts supported on mac? For example running stuff in SLI etc. - Is there anything i should be thinking on when getting the Mac operativsystem - Or is all of this just a waste of time, and i should just get myself a extra iMac... (its so expensive tho and waste of money ?) Hope you all are having a great day! ??? -
Is it possible to create a external hard drive (using only windows), which can boot MacOS on a non Mac machine? If so, how? I found many tutorials of doing so, but they all use Macs. I could also have done that using my Mac, but I was just wondering if it is possible. -
Hello everyone! I would like to run two of my computer drives at once using some sort of virtualization technology. I have two SSDs, one with Windows and another with MacOS, and I was wondering if someone could give me an idea on what I would need to do. I know Unraid exists, but from what I have seen I would need to convert the drives, but I don't know if they would run on their own again (I don't need to run both of them at the same time, all the time). I know on one of the LTT videos Anthony used a Linux host and KVMs to run his Mac. Could I do something like that with a physical drive and then have them boot separate when I'm not using both? The reason I can't use virtualbox is because I need OpenGL (Or whatever the Mac equivalent is) to run Blender, virtualbox only supports 2.1. If anyone has any methods of doing this, I would be extremely grateful!

Hi I have an MSI GL62M 7REX with an i7-7700hq and GTX 1050ti mobile GPU. I tried building a hackintosh on my laptop setting it up to dual boot with windows using https://github.com/rlindsberg/Hackintosh-On-MSI-GL62m-7REX and https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/ as my references. I tried setting it up with Mojave and High Sierra as well but in case of Mojave it showed and stuck on a white stop sign and in case of High Sierra it just rebooted into windows. I've tried rehabman's fork of clover as well as the latest build from sourceforge. Also I tried using the kexts from both the links mentioned above. Any help will be much appreciated because while I'm a huge fan of Mac OS but neither can I afford a MacBook nor my gaming needs would be satisfied there. -
Hey, i installed a hackintosh on my windows machine as a virtual machine. I used this tutorial which was pretty easy. Unfortunately facetime isn't working which was the main reason i installed it. I don't really know what to do to get it running. If you need further information i'll happily provide it. Any help is much appreciated. I assumed that the Serial Number is the problem so i used clover to generate different ones. I tried a few. Nothing worked. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am having some troubles on my build (Ubuntu Bionic Beaver, Sabertooth 990FX motherboard, FX-8350 processor, PNY GeForce 210 for main graphics, and Radeon HD 5450), and trying to make it a hackintosh with qemu. Everything goes completely fine until I try to run the VM. Hello! It's that time again where you see a young noob that want to build a Hackintosh or install a VM with MacOS on it but doesn't have whatsoever a physical accès to a Mac. I search on many websites but I don't end up finding something that I want and because my internet is slow and install files are around 6GB I was wondering if someone would like to send me the install file that I need in order do discover MacOS and do things with it so that I can help people that I know fixing things on their Mac and also have fun and a hard time making it work on probably my laptop the best that I could. Hi, i can someone help me with installing mac OS Mojave on my HP ENVY - 15-as102na? I have an imac to use for setting up my usb & installing MacOS Mojave.There are various kext files etc that i'm not sure about and need some help as some are hardware specific. I tried previously but got stuck on an apple logo and couldn't get past that, and tried today and had problems with Clover. Long story short, I want to be able install multiple OS install media onto one 64GB Kingston USB 3.0 drive as opposed to buying a new stick every time I find a new distribution I want to try out. For example, for my newest build I want to install Debian, all I have to do is plug in the drive and choose from a list what I want to install to the target drive. Is it just as simple as partitioning the flash drive and installing the media and the motherboard BIOS would recognize the multiple boot options, or is there a different option with the same effect? Install OS of choice is Windows, multiple versions of Linux, and Hackintosh(though as finicky as it is would it be best for it to have it's own flash drive?). Thanks!
