I've wanted to put my SSD into the dedicated 2.5 inch bay in the NZXT H440 but the SATA power cables I have are 90 degree connectors and the cable routing holes aren't close enough so the cable can plug into the SSD with out the cable blocking itself because of the 90 degree angle. If your wondering what power supply I have its a corsair rm550 Any help appreciated Thanks

Hi everyone! I'm putting together a build for myself and all the parts are chosen. The main components are: Intel i7 6700k CPU (H110i GTX cooling) Asus Z170 Deluxe MoBo Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB DDR4 RAM Gigabyte GTX980 Ti 6GB VC Corsair RM650 PSU 240GB SSD, 2TB HDD (already have plenty of external storage) Now all that's left to choose is the case. I'm looking for something stylish and so went to NZXT. Spotted the H440 which looks fantastic but my concern with it is that ventilation is compromised. I've studied it as best I can online and it looks like there are vents on the side and top which could be problematic. Given the power and the fact there are 2x RADS (240mm for CPU, 120mm(?) for VC's cooler, I'm worried I may stress my rig. Same applies to their S340 I think it is. As an alternative, I've looked at the NZXT Phantom 530 but that side fan really spoils it. I also stumbled on the Graphite 760t from Corsair, but I can't quite decide if I like it or not. So far, it's growing on me but I was hoping you guys could tell me: A) If there are adequate airflow provisions in the H440 B) Alternative white-themed cases which do provide good airflow. Thanks!

So. I am currently trying to decide on how to configure the fan setup in the NZXT H440 I will put a Corsair H110i in the top of the case (which I will configure to push air out of the case), but should I replace the 3 stock fans in the front with Corsair SP120s/AF120s? (I am going on a semi tight budget here so I am trying to find out if the "better" fans are worth the extra money.) Also going to remove the HDD bay, just for airflows sake. Any other suggestions on how I should do things?

Hi Everyone on LTT Forums! I am in need of some help of a PC Build! I want to have a computer for under £700-£1000. I want to be able to Play GTA V on High or Ultra Settings with Multiple Screens. Be able to Live stream and make Videos. A Preferred Case is the NZXT Designed By Razer H440. But if there is any others you'd recommend that would be Great. In The Budget it must include a Hard Drive, SSD and OS! Thanks LTT Forums!

Hello! I recently bought a used NZXT H440 Razer Edition case and the pins of the Molex cable which powers the fan and LED hub are broken. I please need the name of the plug for the LED hub. Does anyone know it? Or does anybody know where I can get this cable? Its a large molex (4 pin, male) to 3pin(female) and to ???(female). (large molex splits up) I attached two pictures of the plug. Thanks in advance!

Hello. I see there isn't much reviews about IN WIN 805C pc case. Anyone owns it, or what is your opinions on that case and is worth it? Me, personally really like this case, and i find it even more attractive over NZXT H440. So yah if i wont go for the IN WIN i'll buy H440. Cooling wise, it seems it has even worse aircooling then the H440, but in other hands case looks pretty cool and i love tempered glass.(i don't use water cooling) System: GTX 970 Strix i5 4670k 8gb ram

Hey, I have a NZXT H440 Black/Red, and wondering is there a way to controller the Fan Controller in the back of the H440? I am running 6 fans including the Corsair H100i GTX, (ALL SP120s and AF140). What do i need to do to Control the Fan Controller in the Back?

Hi I recently watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OmkmluAYAQ and now i kinda want to know if my plan additional fans on H440 is good. So now i got that 4 fans from stock 1 fan from previous case that is on top and pull air out of the case and i plan to put there a radeon r9 390 MSI and i have now Be quiet dark rock 3 cooler on CPU (which will change on time to skylake) and here is my question should i put like 2 fans on top from good branch that pulls out air ? Because i dont know if 1 x 140 mm on back is enough for 5 pushes... thank you for any advice

I was thinking about replacing the 3 FN V2 120mm fans in my H440 with noctua NF-f12's for to increase intake airflow in the front of my H440. My question is how much difference in temps would this make over the stock FN V2 fans specifically in regards to cooling down my 980 Ti's in SLI. I'm currently getting temps around 83-85 Celsius which isn't terrible but I would like to knock it down 5-10 degrees if possible. The middle intake fan is directly in line with the 1st GPU that needs to be cooled and with nothing in the way that would obstruct airflow so I feel if I could get a better fan blowing cold air directly onto it the temps would improve. Would the noctua NF-f12's would be the best choice? *I know the acx 2.0 coolers do a worse job then the reference in SLI but I already went ahead with this setup * current cooling setup is 3 intake fans with stock fans in front / H100i GTX setup as exhaust on top / 140mm Corsair SP Exhausting out the back * cooling was perfect before with gpu temps never going above 70 degrees celsius. I want to know if replacing the stock intake fans would specifically help gpu temps in SLI * rest of case is cool with the cpu (i7-6700k) never going above 65 degrees overclocked to 4.7GHz *Because of its restrictive intake airflow in the front panel most people seem to suggest that air flow fans would not work as well as SP fans that work well in restrictive airflow situations. Has anyone tried to improve intake by replacing the stock fans and what results did you get?

Hey guys I’ll be building my first system in a few days, buy I’m currently torn up between which all-in-one liquid cooler I should get for my case (red/black NZXT H440). So far I’ve looked at these coolers: Corsair H100i GTX and NZXT X61. My reason for going with the H100i GTX would be the corsair link compatibly (which I am going to use) and the sexy fans I’ll be able to install with it (Corsair SP120 Quiet edt.). These fans will fit perfectly in my build, as I’m going for a clean, aesthetically pleasing PC. My reason for going with the NZXT X61 would be: Performance, the big, RGB changeable name (which would fit nicely with my case, as it obviously says "NZXT" and yes I know the H100i GTX also can change color, but it's simply to small and would look weird inside of the next H400, though I can deal with this) and size. I don't like this cooler, because there's currently no Corsair SP140 fans with interchangeable rings yet, which means I would have to go with the red led SP140 corsair fans, which in my opinion looks hideous, but I shan't judge them, because I’ve yet to see a red h440 case with these fans, so if you have any pictures I would be forever grateful. Also if you have some extra minutes to spare and take a look at my build and come with suggestions I would be even more grateful. To summarize: I don't know if I should go with the X61 or the H100i GTX because of the fans and other small things, but mostly because of the fans (how stupid it may even sound). This is what I prefer over each other; I prefer the H100i GTX to the X61 because of: - Aesthetics (the fans). - Corsair link compatibility. I prefer the X61 to the H100i GTX because: - Performance. - RGB changeable name. (My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/niels.nielsen/saved/#view...)

I was gonna do a Sharpie design on my H440 but due to time it wasn't possible. Then went to Plan B and decided to do a pretty Teal on the case panels. Before What i used for the project:

Looking to build a yellow and black themed h440. I was looking at the s430 but I just don't like it. I like the case it self. But looking at the yellow and black version its just kind of ugly compared to the h440 mod. Does anyone know where I can grab a replacement logo? (I have a razer nzxt logo) and I'm getting bored with it. I'm looking to replace it with a nzxt logo (or possibly my own)

I'm another one of those people who love the aesthetics and the silence of the H440, but are worried about their potentially air starved components. (This is my first build, and PCPartPicker Link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ZnTzt6) I will be using an M.2 ssd, so all the drive cages in the front will be gone. I will be using an X61 Kraken on the top in push (exhaust) and the stock fan in the back also for exhaust. The main problem here is the front 3 fans. Should I be using SP because of the huge panel in the front, or should I use AF? Perhaps a combination thereof (2 SP forcing are into the small compartment and 1 AF to propel it into the case)? Just some ideas, and I would like to hear everyone's opinion.

how does the fan hub in the NZXT h440 work does it just run the fans full speed or is it connected to the motherboard for controll???

So I am planning to install a 360mm radiator in my NZXT H440 but for now it is only going to be cooling my CPU. So i have to decide whether to mount the radiator on the top and limit myself to a very thin radiator while keeping the front 3 fans to cool my GPU or whether to mount my radiator in the front of the case allowing myself to use a much thicker radiator but meaning my GPU would suffer slightly due to the intake being covered by a giant radiator. All opinions/ suggestions on which configuration i should use are appreciated and you may also want to note that i have a 140mm exhaust fan in the rear of my case. Thanks. Hi guys, I'm wondering if there's a way to connect the data and power SATA cables to my SSD? The reason is so I can mount the SSD somewhere that would need them to plug in at a 180 degree angle, but the ones that came with my PSU are both bending at 90 degrees, making it only possible to mount in a typical drive bay. It's the flat spot in the display area of NZXT's H440's case if that helps clear it up. Anyone have any ideas for me? Greatly appreciated.

hey everyone! So I got a h100i GTX a few days ago, along with my new h440 I am super happy with the cooling, it does an amazing job keeping my fx 8320 cool. My idle temps are under 40 C. so I know what it is displaying is inaccurate but it typically shows between 25-35 C. Anyhow my only gripe with the h100i is how noisy it is. I set the fans and pump to quiet mode which doesnt seem to do anything? It seems to ramp down the fans and pump when it feels like it and then its super quiet. but most of the time I can hear it stupidly loud even with my hyperx cloud headset on! Im just wondering if there is a way to make it quieter? I dont mind sacrificing a little cooling since my cores barely go over 45 under every day load.. prime95 only puts them up to about 57 or so.. Thanks Oxygen Edit: Corsair link has been glitchy with me too, I have to restart the software to get it to change things.. as example to change the LED color I have to change the sliders, then exit out of link completely and then start it again for the LED's to change color

So I really do want the H440 for my build, but for some reason it's out of stock EVERYWHERE in Finland and stores are unsure of when they are getting more. So I was wondering if the R5 is any good? I didn't buy any extra fans, because the H440 has plenty of them, but the R5 only has 2. Does that mean I would need more fans for my build (specs below)? Also, do you think it's worth waiting for the H440, or should I just go with the R5 if available?

I noticed that the led on the io area of my h440 is flashing not like flashing flashing but dimming and getting brighter for no reason has anyone else had this happen does it mean somthing or my bulb just dieing

I'm trying to figure out if I want a black and red build or a white and black build. I'm pretty set on the hardware inside, and I know that it might be bad to put aesthetics before performance, but if I don't like how the computer looks I know I won't be happy. I could just use a little bit of input. In the end, I'll still make the decision but I would appreciate some help. So this will be my first PC build. I've watched LTT for about a year now and I can't wait to finally get my hands on some PC parts to make a rig. I plan on using it to edit videos, screen capture (record), and play some games like Rocket League, Ark, Trials, etc. I really want this thing to look good because I know I won't like it unless I can show it off and be proud of it so I decided to go with a simple white and black color scheme (that matches my headphones) to keep it simple and clean. Also, this is why I went with the Z97 board because I think it is a perfect fit for the build. I know the raw performance of the 380 is better, but are Nvidia's features and support worth going with the 960; Especially since I don't plan on playing super intense games? If you have any suggestions, do put them out there. Just keep in mind that I want to keep the black and white only theme and that I would prefer to not go much over $1000 US if any. I'm going to build a pc with NZXT H440. I have a H100i which goes on top with two fans. The casing comes along with 4 fans, 3 up front and 1 in the back. The front fan mount has a dust filter. With those in mind, what will be the best fan config for me to maintain a positive air pressure? As I live in a pretty dusty and hot place, bot dust control and cooling should be kept in mind with equal priorities. Thanks In Advance!!

Hello, I'm building a 4k gaming rig and through out the years I've looked around here and there about components temperatures, but those are kinda all over the place. So hopefully you guys can provide a more solid indication as to what to expect on the average, what's safe and what's not/max. Please post the temperature in Celsius, I'm aware that the case is way too small but here's hoping the air flow will counter and/or be sufficient. So now on to the rig itself: NZXT H440 [mid-tower, silent, isolated] NZXT Kraken x61 AIO (replacing fans with http://www.aerocool.us/accessory/shark_r14.html, for the led/test it out) Titan X 2-Way SLI (EVGA SClocked) Intel 5930k CPU Super Flower 1200w platinum PSU 2x 7200rpm HGST 4TB HDD's Intel 750 series PCIe SSD G.Skill 32GB DDR4 X-Fi Titanium HD soundcard Asus Rampage V Extreme/U3.1 mobo Fan setup: Front / intake: 3x 120mm CM xtraflo http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/case-fan/xtraflo-120-red/ Top, blowing out of the case: 2x 140mm Aerocool on the radiator http://www.aerocool.us/accessory/shark_r14.html Rear: blowing out of the case: 1x 140mm " Arctic MX-4 cooling paste and last but not least the mainboard, Rampage V Extreme/U3.1 Ok so now that the main components are known (if not all, the important ones at least), I'd like to know what the average temperatures one is to expect. It would be particularly handy if H440 owners give input, but a general idea would be most welcome as well. Basically I'll be gaming at 4k / comp will be under full load for most of the time, let's just say that. So for the CPU, GPU and RAM what would be normal temperatures and what would be the maximum in a general sense without frying the parts? I do plan on OCing the above three mentioned components so I'd like to know what's safe and what not temp not to cross. As for OC-ing I'm hoping for 4.5GHz on the CPU and some decent gain on the GPU's. For the RAM itself I'm aiming for 300-400MHz gain (from the 3000MHz default), all in all not super crazy OC's by today's standards. So yeah...min and max temp in Celsius please.
