I was surprised how weak the retention kit, it was running fine for two days at least then I couldn't run the PC for more than a minute. I took a look inside the case and found it in pieces. I have contacted the support for replacement but no answer for more than a week, now I would even pay for a new one instead of settling for a replacement, but the issue is I can't even find it anywhere. (except for this link which says it is not available) Now I am posting it everywhere and hoping someone somewhere would be able to help.

I just recieved my Motherboard back from a RMA, Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7. Before I sent it off I did not have either of these problems. The H100i Platinum will illuminate just fine if I do a fresh boot to BIOS. Once I boot to the desktop however it will start to flicker. The other issue I am having is the PC with not boot if i have my RAM in the 1 / 2 slots but will if i have them in the side by side 2 / 4. Once again i did not have this issue when i first had it. I have X.M.P enabled and still no resolution. RAM is the 3200 8GB stick Trident z x2. I am planning to do an upgrade to the 3rd gen ryzen cpus and with that I will change my case(at least try to, it depends on cpu+mobo prices) to the corsair crystal 280x with the h100i aio cooler and 2 LL120 RGB fans and I would try to still use the fans than come included with the case(doesn't come with rgb fans) adding to a total of 6 fans(aio on top(x2 ML120+ 240mm rad)+ x2 LL120RGB at thefront + x2 ML120 at the bottom). And I haven't found any stores(in spain) that sell the corsair hub other than corsair's web site. But they do sell other fan hub like this ones: https://www.pccomponentes.com/aerocool-project-7-p7-h1-hub-controlador-rgb-para-ventiladores https://www.amazon.es/Thermaltake-Commander-FP-Concentrador-Ventiladores/dp/B015KG6HP0/ref=asc_df_B015KG6HP0/?tag=googshopes-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=82853727250&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=639400820513735638&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9061047&hvtargid=pla-260963482478&psc=1 I've also though of using something like this and connect it on to the mobo. https://www.amazon.es/DEEPCOOL-Fan-HUB-Multiplicador-ventiladores/dp/B008YD7B0M/ref=asc_df_B008YD7B0M/?tag=googshopes-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=301006161094&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=639400820513735638&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9061047&hvtargid=pla-404766633119&psc=1 Does anyone know if this two methods would work. Thx

Hi all, I was hoping to modify the cover plate on my H100i V2 cooler to a cool design so that the RGB would shine through also and match the rest of the PC. I found a link to a good website describing exactly what I wanted to do... (https://bit-tech.net/guides/modding/mini-mods-modding-a-corsair-aio/1/). Now I guess I have two main questions... 1. Does anyone know where I can buy just a new cover plate as shown in the image below? (I foolishly painted mine Red when that was the colour scheme of my build) 2. Any companies that may be able to print off small enough designs so that I can stick it onto the cover plate and spray over it to get a similar effect to that of the one on the internet link I posted above? I am just kinda bored of it saying Corsair and I thought it would be a good time to potentially mod my current one. I could sand down my current Red one and do the custom logo on that but I also want a replacement cover plate just in case it doesn't go to plan and I just keep it OEM. Any help and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks all! Jacob

Hola mi amigos! What do you guys think is the "optimal" pump speed on liquid pumps? Should the pump be on max for a consitent speed and optimal cooling or should it be toned down for less wear or just auto where it adjust the speed accordingly to the cpu/water temp? Greetings!

Almost 3 years ago, I built my first PC. All of the components were brand new including a 'Corsair CW-9060025-WW Hydro Series H100i V2 240 mm Extreme Performance All-In-One Liquid CPU Cooler'. At first, my PC was very quiet and the performance was great. I have thoroughly cleaned it and replaced the thermal paste at least a couple of times since the the first installation. Over the last few months, I have noticed my CPU running hotter and my fans getting louder. Naturally, I just assumed these were signs that another deep clean was needed. My PC is very important to me, both for doing work as part of my Computer Science degree and my in free time for playing games. So, I have to transport the poor baby to and from my uni dorm a few times a year which unfortunately means packing it sideways in the original case box. I took my PC home this weekend and intended to give it a clean over the next couple of days. However, I tried using it at home first... and there is a horrendous noise coming from the cooler. The fans are extremely loud and there is an awful grinding/scratching noise coming from the pump. Today, I dismantled part of my PC to give it a good clean and look for any problems around my fans and radiator. I did not remove the pump because I did not bring my thermal paste with me. It is now relatively dust-free and I couldn't find anything that looked wrong...but unfortunately, the awful noises still persist and my CPU is now running at 100 degrees celsius at idle. My system has not shut itself down but obviously, I do not deem it safe enough to leave on since I don't want to risk long term damage to my expensive intel 6700k. The cooler is still within its five year warranty so I have sent a ticket to Corsair and I am waiting for a response. While an exchange would be brilliant, I would really rather not go through the hassle of battling my case for why I should get a new one and waiting who-knows-long to receive a new one while I'm basically stuck without a PC and have coursework deadlines. I'm really hoping anyone might have a suggestion of how I can fix my issue. Thank you ??

Hello, I'm building a PC in less than two weeks and thought I checked everything. My case is a Corsair iCUE 465X and my RAM a G.Skill 2x 16 GB Trident Z Neo. It's 44mm high. I'm planning to cool my CPU with a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum AIO. I bought an Asus Rog Strix x570-E Gaming (if that matters). I planned to install the radiator on the top side, but I just read on reddit in someone else thread that I might get problems with my radiator and RAM, because the RAM is to high. Is that true and if yes what could I do? The 240mm radiator can only be placed on the top side. On the front side is only place for a 280mm or 360mm radiator according to the official website. I'm wondering if I couldn't install the radiator + a LL120 fan there?

HELP! I just did a rebuild of my system into a new case, and replaced my AIO with corsair's h100i white edition, everything looks right on the dashboard as far as RPM's go, but I'm getting serious heat issues, I reseated my AIO twice, cleaning the old paste off with rubbing alcohol and reapplying with fresh paste (around a large grain of rice), screwing it down, and unscrewing it to check the spread, it all looked good. When I power everything up and open up the dash, its right back up to near 200 (f) (90+ C). I'm running a i7-9700k at stock clocking evga z370 classified K mobo Hydro Series™ H100i RGB PLATINUM SE 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler Commander Pro (4 fans running to it, 2 are connected to the AIO's fan headers) 6 LL fans 64 gb of corsair ram (sitting at around 100 F) Attached is the export from the icue dashboard, and a screen shot of the dash. If one of you beautiful bastards helps me solve this I'll seriously paypal you some cash. If i werent already bald I'd be ripping my hair out trying to figure this out. sysinfo.zip

I have been using this cooler for little over 3 years now for my i7 5960x. I am planning to change a few components in my current rig and wanted to know if I should change it or keep it?

Hi everyone, Building a new rig (Ryzen 5 2600, ASRock B450M-PRO4, Corsair Crystal 280X) and I ordered a Corsair H100i. Now I have 2 Noctua NF-P12 redux 1700 fans. Which would cool better, the Noctuas or the included ML120s? Plan to OC and want to get as much out of 2600 as I can off the B450 board. Thanks! ~Tropton~

Hey there! So I was wondering, in my new PC I am getting the Corsair h100i Platinum and I was watching a video about it and saw that the cooler its self has cables to connect to the fans however I am planning on getting a commander pro to connect all the fans now I am wondering do I connect the fans on the radiator to the commander pro or the pump? Thanks

Hi all, I'm looking for the best fan configuration for a build. It's a Meshify C case and a H100i. It's the first time I'll have used liquid cooling and I'm not sure the best placement for it. My old build was 3 intake fans up front, exhausted top and rear. My understanding is that the radiator for the H100i will prevent air exhausting from wherever I put it (tell me if I'm wrong). So do I put it at the top and have the air go front to back, or visa versa? Thanks.

Hello, I would like to request some help/advice with AIO cooler. Yesterday, I finished building my second PC, I decided to try out water cooling. I purchased Corsair Hydro Series H100i RGB PLATINUM and installed it following the instructions. My problem is that the pump (heatsink) is making really load fan noise. ICUE pump control does not influence the speed of the pump, it always run at max speed and is super loud. The speed ramps up almost always after logging into windows, sometimes it starts after I start a game.I would not mind loud pump during gaming, but It really bothers me during idle, low load time. My PC specs: I7 9700k, Z390 carbon, Vengeance RGB PRO Series 32 Gb Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Super Gaming X Trio, Seasonic Focus GX 750 Gold I do not think this much noise is normal. I would like some opinions how to fix it. Is there any other possibility or do I have to return the cooler. Temp is ok, around 35-40 °C under low load and does not exceed 65 degrees after 30 minutes CPU stress test.Liquid does not exeed 35 degrees. If you need any additional information, just ask me. I would like to have it solved as soon as possible, so I will try to cooperate as much as I can. 2020_08_20_22_15_02.mp3

So I have a h100i, but missing the screws that mount the fans to the rad. Anyone know what size and length I need to get? Also can I use the stock am4 backplate or do I need use the included backplate? Do to my case I would have to pull the mb out and I can avoid that it would nice.

Hey everyone, You most likely would remember my previous threads more than a year ago about my 4790K overheating. However with Corsair H100i cooled the CPU down drastically that I could OC to 4.7GHz with mid 70C degrees temp at Max CPU usage until today. Two weeks ago I realised my computer would shut down at midnight when I leave my PC to download steam games. Turning my PC back on into the BIOS running the CPU at 100C degrees. One of the pipes is boiling hot whereas the other isn’t warm but cool. I’m in a pickle now, I can’t use my computer without feeling cautious on the temperatures. At idle, the CPU temps are 41-49C, it’s when the CPU usage increases drastically that’s when the temperature goes haywire. Also I found out recently that the pump or the fan is making this rattling sound that is annoying as the room and the computer is usually quiet. i7 4790K GTX 1080 (GIGABYTE) 32GB 2400MHz Corsair Vengence and G.Skill 1000w gold Aerocool Xpredator MSI Z97X Gaming 5 I have remounted the damn thing 2-3 times today, the thermal paste wire off quickly (the thermal paste was reapplied two weeks ago)

I have 2 LL 140 rgb case fans that came with the lighting node pro and rgb fan hub and everything worked perfectly. I recently purchased 3 LL 120 case fans(i purchased the LL 120 separately in individual boxes). I have power to all the fans but the 3 LL 120's have no rgb. I have the 140's connected to slots 1-2 in the rgb hub and the rgb on them still works, and the 120's are in slots 3-5 and currently have no rgb but they do spin. I've tried swapping the fans into different slots and saw that the 120's i put into slots 1-2 now have rgb but now the 140's i put in the other slots no longer gave rgb. I wanna say it's a faulty hub but i'm not sure. Forgot to mention the 120's fans rgb kinda flicker in certain areas on the fans like they're trying to come on but can't. I tried disconnecting the USB from the header on the motherboard and connecting to another USB 2.0 header. Also tried resetting the Lighting node pro and installing different firmware. I'm having a problem the ICUE software. Ever since I Installed the 3 120 fans ICUE no longer detects my Corsair devices including the lighting node pro or my H100i.

Greetings, I just bought the Corsair Icue H100i Rgb Pro Xt (240mm), but I had to put the fans behind the radiator (because my cheap case doesn't have the correct holes), like this: Is there any impact on its performance or is it ok? I just installed the AIO and everything is super fine. One thing I notice is a difference between HWmonitor an corsair iCUE: 4655 RPM vs 2340 RPM. What-s wrong here?

So I heard that two series of fans from corsair (example: SP120 and LL120) wont work together on the corsair lighting node core. Does the LL120 series fall into this category? I am planning on buying the Corsair 280x RGB and the Corsair H100i, both of witch come with Corsair's LL120mm fans. (2 each) However, the the case (280x) comes with the back ones, and the AIO comes with the white ones. I know that the white LL120's have a higher RPM, but will this affect the RGB goodness that i'm looking for? Thanks!

I recently bought a Corsair hydro series H100i v2 for my i7 6700k but i dont know what the normal water temperature should be? I noticed that when the water reaches 40c the PC goes waay too lound seems that something is overheating. Is there any chance of bad pump or bad radiator?

So I clipped the h100i v.2's power usb cable thinggy while trying to install it (the coating exposed a little of the inside), and today I saw my 8700k thermal throttle at 83 degrees (what?) I didn't know if it was a throttle or a regular thing, but I think I might have broken the pump power cable. If you own a 8700k, please tell me if this is a normal temperature!

Hello ladies and gents, I seem to be having an issue with my h100i, I've had this cooler for about a hear now and it ran buttery smooth until about a week ago. Weirdly enough, it probably started acting like this around the time I added a new drive to my PC. So I currently have 2 HDDs, a 250GB SSD as my boot drive, and the new addition, an M.2 970 EVO 1TB SSD. All these drives are hooked up to my Gigabyte Aorus Z270X gaming K5 motherboard, which I am slowly starting to dislike to the point of wanting to throw it against the concrete multiple times. (: Like I said, before adding this latest SSD, everything ran just fine, I've also had problems with 2 previous M.2 960 EVO drives, which crashed my pc constantly, but that's besides the point. Now my Corair Link tells me that my fans are running at 0 RPM but the pump is acting just fine. I've read that turning off fan control in the BIOS is a way to fix this, but with Gigabyte there doesnt seem to he a way to turn it off. So I tried to set the CPU_FAN to Voltage and 100% and still nothing, changed it to PWM and nothing. Keep in mind I have 4 fans connected to this cooler, I use noctua splitter cables to connect all 4 fans to the pump. I'm lost at this point and everyone who has found a fix for this has done it on a board that is not a Gigabyte one, I even installed the App Centre garbage Gigabyte has and downloaded all the updates it suggested and still nothing. I can't run any games now without the CPU obviously crying in agony and hitting 100°C easily. The rest of my system specs consist of a Asus ROG Strix 1070 GPU, and a 750Watt PSU, honestly cant remember the brand but it's a good one I swear! I dont know if this is a power issue, but I highly doubt it. Any help would be appreciated!
